Soukoku SFW Alphabets✨(Part 2)

Part 1, Part 3

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Of course, they like hugging each other. Dazai is a ragdoll for any sort of physical affection and Chuuya is more than willing to give him what he wants(most of the time). Mostly, Dazai likes to hug Chuuya from behind, preferably when Chuuya's cooking breakfast, and put his head on Chuuya's and get a few more minutes of sleep like that. Chuuya may huff and curse him for disturbing him, but deep down, Chuuya likes it when Dazai hugs him. When Dazai is emotionally drained, he lays his head on Chuuya's shoulder and Chuuya hugs him softly like he's a precious flower. Dazai protests that he's not soft or fragile, but he does like being handled delicately.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It takes them a lot of time. Dazai, who doesn't understand human emotions well, doesn't drop the L-word much, but his actions show how much he loves Chuuya. Chuuya doesn't use the word 'love' that much either, but it is mostly because he thinks it's too cheesy. For him, words like partner feel more intimate than lovers and sentences like 'I trust you with my life' are more meaningful for them than the simple 'I love you'. Dazai feels the same way.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Oh boy. Both of them can get very jealous. Even if they know that they don't have anyone except each other, they both can get pretty jealous when they see the other being friendly with anyone else. This statement was especially true when they were younger, in the mafia, and didn't understand emotions. At present, they are a bit better, but the jealousy rears its ugly head sometimes. Chuuya used to be jealous of Kunikida for being Dazai's new partner, but after they bonded, Chuuya mostly felt sorry for the blonde for having to put up with Dazai's antics every day. Dazai does get jealous, but he's better at hiding it, and once they are alone, Dazai makes sure to voice his jealousy, mostly in the form of fierce kisses. That's a story for another day though😉.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss each other? Where do they like to be kissed?)

It mostly depends on their mood. The more horny they are, the fiercer and sloppier their kisses become. But they also have softer moments when they kiss each other so sweetly that it's enough to give everyone cavities. Dazai's kisses are aimed at making Chuuya feel like he's melted into a puddle of goo. Chuuya kisses Dazai softly and with an overwhelming amount of affection that makes Dazai blank out in Chuuya's hands. Dazai likes to kiss Chuuya's lips(of course he does), his neck and his temple. Chuuya likes to kiss Dazai's forehead and lips and, most of the time, his scars. Chuuya likes to show how beautiful Dazai is with his mouth.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Chuuya is the best around children. Years of spending time with Elise made him perfect for dealing with children. Dazai has a lot of difficulty connecting with children because they are bright and energetic and hopeful and everything he's not, but Chuuya helps him out with it. So mostly, Dazai just follows Chuuya's lead when dealing with children.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Mornings are sleepy, full of cuddles and soft, sleepy kisses. Dazai misses Chuuya's warmth whenever Chuuya gets up early. He can't sleep without Chuuya, and soon after Chuuya wakes up, Dazai is awake too. When they have the day off, they like to spend the morning hours sleeping. When they are both half awake, their mornings have abundant slow kisses that drive them both to wakefulness.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Nights are mostly movie nights, with Dazai and Chuuya choosing what to watch alternatively. Sometimes they cook dinner, sometimes they order takeout. During movie nights Chuuya likes to lean on Dazai. Dazai loves to have his head on Chuuya's lap, with his fingers carding through Dazai's hair. Somedays they just lie on the couch and cuddle till they fall asleep. Of course, there are days when they want to do other things, but I'm not writing them here(Maybe later, in an NSFW alphabet list).

Summary:

Dazai knows he's smart enough, yes, but he is far from perfection. In fact, he would say that everything about him falls on the complete wrong side of the scale- Dazai Osamu is all the wrong things he has ever deemed and he fucking hates himself.

Excerpt:

It started with scissors. It always seemed to. But instead of snipping at his skin, he impulsively cut his hair. He chopped off his beautiful, long curly locks and stomped on them like a child, because he was one, until his father came and beat him for cutting his hair. He had been only 5 when he pinpointed he hated being a girl, but it would take him many years to find out.

Dazai had been a prized girl. He was pretty, his hair grew quickly, and was forced to stay lengthy, he had big eyes and he was intelligent. The family doctor took a liking to him- sexually. He didn’t know how old he was but he wasn’t old enough, still wasn’t, but Mori gave him everything he wanted as long as he spread his legs and opened his mouth. When he had killed his parents and fled with the doctor, he settled into Mori’s flat and asked for him to replace his dresses with pants and shorts. When asked why, he said he didn’t like them. He’s growing up.

He told Mori and the man took it well- He helped him. He just smiled, said okay, and told him he would be Osamu. And it was a secret.

There were no hormones, but Mori provided him with basic information. What to do with his voice. How to hide his breasts. What hairstyle suited him best. He said that this was perfect- Hiding his sex would help him politically, and his popularity would be up because he would be a man. Naturally. It wasn’t political, but he let Mori think it was because Mori was good at telling him he was a boy when he wasn’t under the sheets.

But it was good. It was fine. He could take the sex and act like he was the perfect girl and immediately after, he would be Osamu again. He was fine with the arrangement. He was great with it.

And then Chuuya came along, and everything became complicated along with him.

soukoku is bsd original name for the dzi and chuu duo, it's not a thing in bungou to alchemist or other bungou media. though, people do ship them in many non-bsd bungou media too, but like said it's not their ship name, or a term used anywhere else than in bsd. please refrain from using it when talking about other versions of those two, you're being rude to the irl writers too when you reduce charactes based on them to something that only one series out of hundreds uses 😔 i know you mean nothing bad, but just had to point out this. if you have to use ship name, it's dazanaka/dazachuu (or nakadaza/chuudaza depending on which dynamics you prefer for the ship). japanese fandoms for the various bungou medias haven't really fully decided on which reading to use for chuu, as his surname and first name both start with the same kanji, that can be read either as "naka" or "chuu". and as dzi is a surname, some find it weird to only refer to chuu with his first name when the other one is always called by his surname, meanwhile some are totally all about calling the short guy chuu anyways even if it's a bit unfair. but the japanese bunal fandom mostly uses dazanaka (or nakadaza for inverted dynamics). so yep, pick your choice, but no skk ever again for bunal or other bungou media versions of them, thank you. have a nice day o/

ps. there's also a comprehensive info on pixiv's dictionary regarding the bsd ship (https://dic.pixiv.net/a/%E5%A4%AA%E4%B8%AD), and it also mentions bunal's variation (https://dic.pixiv.net/a/%E5%A4%AA%E4%B8%AD%28%E6%96%87%E3%82%A2%E3%83%AB%29) which has same ship name. people add (bsd) or (bunal) behind the ship name to differentiate them. among western fans it's especially seen on ao3 when people tag their fics. you can use translator to get a gist of the links' content if you don't know japanese!
