* usually not the ‘dating’ type. relationships with him are usually more of a fwb situation, but it could develop into more after that.

* nick always likes to be touching you in some way, letting everyone know you’re his. he definitely is quick to get jealous or even a little territorial if someone says something or looks at you the wrong way.

* doesn’t care who’s watching - he fully make out with you in a room full of people. not super into romantic pda, but will put his arm around you or have a hand on your thigh or around your waist

* likes seeing you in his clothes, whether it’s his hoodies or nothing but his t-shirt when you wake up

* i feel like he’s be down for matching necklaces or bracelets, as long as they weren’t ‘lame’. it would have to be something masculine or not obviously matching or else he won’t even consider it

* if you wear a necklace or something with his initial on it though? he’s obsessed

* if your relationship becomes serious, i can him being open to matching tattoos. somewhere hidden only for the two of you, and it would probably something small, like first initials or just something the other person drew. bonus points if you each tattoo it on the other person (don’t do this irl tho)

* he drinks and smokes a fair amount. he wouldn’t care if you don’t as long as you don’t pester him about it, but he might tease you lightheartedly for not drinking

* if you do smoke, cigarettes after sex >>>

* nick loves shotgunning the smoke into your mouth; it drives him crazy

* he wears enough cologne that you can notice it linger on his clothes, but not enough to be overpowering/obnoxious

* if you’re apart of his friend group, he wants you to take his side over carly’s. he doesn’t care if your friends with her, although he would prefer to have you all to himself.

* will not take you to meet his parents unless you absolutely insist, and even then its not guaranteed. he would maybe consider meeting yours, but it would have to be after dating for a LONG time, and he will complain everytime you ask lol

part 1

- nick likes taylor swift: i think this is pretty much canon at this point but he’s totally a Lover and Midnights fan, he organised the group along with Tara in getting Eras tour tickets and fully plans on dressing up a little bit

- tao goes to small independent gigs almost every week to discover new bands and music, especially as the group gets older and can get into pubs and clubs. he definitely drags elle along with him every time

- tara invites the group to come see her dance recitals as they get closer. she is always super nervous before she goes on stage but as soon as she catches a glimps of everyone cheering her on, the nerves melt away

- on that note: tara, isaac and tao are totally theatre kids. i think charlie would have been too, but after everything he went through, it was so anxiety inducting to take part in school shows

- charlie is a terrible at bay parking: he is always squint or closer to one side than the other and every single time he parks terribly he just says “this bay is homophobic” or “oh dear, it’s as straight as i am”. nick rolls his eyes lovingly every time

- elle and tara convince tao, charlie and nick to let them paint their nails. tao actually continues having elle paint his nails afterwords, usually black or dark purple

- when the group all go to pride together for the first time, nick is actually pretty nervous about it. the rest of the group is getting ready, putting glitter and face paint on while nick fusses over bringing water and sunscreen. charlie and tara notice his nerves and after they talk to him, he lets elle draw little blue, purple and pink glitter hearts on his face

What job or profession do you think they (heartstopper) would have (besides Charlie's canon and nick)?

OMG GREAT QUESTION!!! i love thinking about this.

elle definitely teaches elementary schoolers art alongside selling her own pieces. the kids would think her style is so cool, and her charm is unmatched so it'd be easy for her to encourage them to get enthusiastic about her class and turn in work on time.

i see imogen having a job in the medical field. i feel like she'd be interested in how the body works and would want to know what to do in health emergencies, so i think she'd be a nurse or even a pharmacist.

okay this would probably be a side job but tao one hundred percent will be some sort of radio disc jockey host person at a point in his life. even if it’s just a local radio or a college one. i think he’d have a blast doing it and would like taking the calls a lot. other than that, i think he’d be good in the architectural/carpentry field and like designing the layout of buildings or crafting their interiors.

i could see tara being a hairstylist for people on movie sets. i think it'd be a cool creative outlet for her and she’d love contributing to the film scene by putting more feel into the specific moment or time period of each film. if she wasn't doing hair, i think she'd still be involved in maybe even costuming, to emphasize the qualities of the characters.

sahar is obviously going to be in a band. there’s no doubt about it.

if issac doesn't end up writing his own books, he'd be a fantastic book critic or even english lit & lang teacher for college students. he must have some really intricate takeaways from books because he reads as much as he does, and by connecting the dots between books and literature as a whole he'd be super good at finding nitpicky ways of explaining them.

i really think darcy would work with animals in some way. maybe at a zoo or aquarium. she seems like the type to take a lot of interest in animals’ behaviors and whatnot. being involved with organizations like that would give her the opportunity to take care of them and record data about their species!

2. imogen is an incredible singer but excels the most in the musical theatre genre. she has a strong mix and her special talent is that she can easily sing "so much better" from legally blonde without getting winded. everything about her screams theatre kid but in a good way

1. isaac has the best voice in the group bc he's the most versatile. a tenor but not in a toxic way (if you know you know). he can do all sorts of genres. musical theatre, opera, pop, rock, etc. he's the person you least expect to participate in karaoke night but he fucking kills it everytime. he has the range darling

She's ticklish, but not as bad as Tao

She's a GIGGLER

And this is when she's in both lee and ler modes

No matter what is happening, she cannot suppress the giddiness that she feels inside of her

It's her worst spot out of all

She WILL try to bite you

But she can't stand it, no matter how hard she tries

Tao thinks it's hilarious when he brushes his fingers against her neck and she basically screams bloody murder

Everywhere else is pretty mild, unless you really dig in

Her knees and feet are pretty sensitive though

She loves tickling Tao

He's so much more jumpier than her

She'll sneak up behind him and squeeze his sides, causing him to squeal

She's such a teasy yet gentle ler

She's never too rough with Tao or any of her other friends, in fear of taking it too far

She, Tao, Charlie and Isaac have had their fair share of group tickle fights over the years

She's also the one that knows every spot each of her friends are ticklish and isn't afraid to expose them

This boy is a solid switch for sure

As tough and serious as he tries to be, everyone knows he's a total goofball

He's the most comfortable being his dorky self around Elle and Charlie however

He's the type of lee to provoke his ler to wreck him

But teases will make this boy blush from ear to ear

And calling out his blush? Oh man

His worst spots are under his arms and his stomach

He's pretty ticklish everywhere, but those spots in particular are killer

His laugh is loud and boisterous

It's literally so carefree and contagious

Elle especially adores it

However, he can be a smug ler when he wants to

If any of his friends are feeling down, he'll start poking at their sides and teasing them just to get a smile back on their face

He loves chasing after his lees

Once this boy finds your death spot, expect him to immediately wreck it for as long as he wants

He tickles Charlie and Elle the most, but everyone has been attacked by him at least once

He's tried tickling Nick before, but instantly regretted it once the tables were turned

- tao always knew he wanted to work in film and i think that he would start a film blog when he goes to uni/college that actually gets popular and ends up getting noticed by people who will help him get properly into the film industry

- we know that nick struggles with what he wants to do for work after school, but i think that this time in his life (uni and shortly after) would be the lowest he has ever been. as someone who can defo relate, i feel like his early-mid twenties are when he experiences the most self doubt

- charlie is 100% someone who studies better in a library or coffee shop. nicks like, yay let’s study at home in bed or on the floor or at the dining table but charlie gets way too easily distracted that way

- elle starts a small business during summer holidays in uni where she paints people at weddings or other events and gives the paintings to the guests

- imogen gets into cheerleading when she goes to uni! we don’t really have cheerleading in high schools in the uk, but a lot of unis do it so i reckon that’s where she would make a lot of her uni friends

- darcy doesn’t drive and has little interest in learning. she doesn’t mind the bus and train and if she needs it, she knows tara or nick would give her a lift

- tara has a jellycat collection. it started with her getting the og bunnies for birthdays and christmas, but then darcy finds out they do all sorts like baked good jellycats and fried eggs and stuff, the chaotic gifts never stop coming

- before cutting her hair short (as depicted in alice osemans drawing of darcy and tara at nick and charlie’s wedding) darcy gets an undercut!! she would look so cool with one i’m sorry

- nick is so good at singing, refuses to sing infront of anyone sober (unless is a car singalong ofc), but as soon as the group gives him a pint at the karaoke bar he will serenade them with some joy division, taylor swift, or even a bit of one direction

- on that note, nick and darcy love a duet at karaoke, as do tara and darcy, and elle and tao (only once tao is absolutely smashed)

- again on that note, tao and elle sing islands in the stream as their karaoke song. yes, they have a dance routine
