Listen, William Joyce didn't give us the other 7 Nightlights. Joyce left them alone and all we really know about them is that they existed and turned into stars because they completed their duties.

But the truth of the matter is they're just kids that weren't allowed time to develop. So I said fuck that and gave them form and let them take a nap because you know they deserve it after what they've gone through. Also i ignored the "Nightlights can't sleep" thing for this. Let them be happy and take naps.

Nightlight stared up at the stars. They were the best part of the night. They twinkled softly, and he smiled. 

Then, he pulled his attention down at a small touch on his arm. A tiny little flying thing flew up to his face and landed on his nose. A giggle escaped his chest. 

The moth flew away from him, and Nightlight chased after it. It landed on his arm again. Nightlight inspected the insect. It was red and orange, and a little bigger than he thought it would be. 

The moth crawled to his hand, resting on his finger. Nightlight watched it, and laughed. It liked his light. Nightlight glowed a little bit more brighter, and the moth quickly crawled around happily.
