I like to disappear for months and then come back with the most unexpected drawings, yes..........
Someday I will learn how to draw transformers, but obviously not in this life..............

Was trying to resist sharing this before it was fully done, but I really can't and wanted to show y'all.
So I'm finally back on my Beast Machines project again. This time I decided to tackle my plans for Nightscream. The biggest plan is... eliminating him entirely. My apologies to anyone who liked him, but I just never really liked him that much. Like most things in Beast Machines, while he had potential and some good ideas, it was just handled so poorly that I think it might be best to start from the ground up with him.
So instead he's getting nixed for, well... Nyx! I honestly just prefer her, and it's always nice to balance out the sausage fest Transformers tends to end up being. She will be borrowing from the ideas and concepts behind Nightscream, but hopefully the final result will end up more coherent.

"…Nightscream studied, observed, and rediscovered the world; on that face was one of the most lively smiles Alexa had ever seen… but she couldn't smile herself: it was all alien, and too wrong to smile back without pain."

hooray-hooray for sudden sketches and pieces of text from unfinished fanfiction!!

Collaboration with @pelmeshekjacki
"If you want, you can lean on me."
After thinking for a decent amount of time over the Autobot's proposal, the seeker cautiously, incredulously took two steps towards him. The pain from the injuries after the fall passed through the entire body with every movement, but Nightscream did not show that it brought him any discomfort. He's a warrior.
Just as the Decepticon wanted to say "I don't need it!", he was swayed to the side again. The absence of a wing and, as a result, the lack of balance played a cruel joke with the seeker, but Nightscream was able to stand on his feet.
Con's frown somewhat strained him, but Hot Shot only patiently waited until the Decepticon decided and gave an answer to his proposal.
"Thank you…" squeaked Nightscream, though gratefully, clinging to the Autobot's shoulder like a drowning man clutching at a straw. He didn't know the Hot Shot's further plans, so he stared expectantly into its optics. From this distance, he finally saw not a blurry blue-yellow-red spot, but a clear faceplate.
Nodding uncertainly, and then looking eye to eye for a couple of seconds, the autobot averted his gaze and helped the seeker to throw his arm over his shoulders, and then stretched out his palm behind his back. It will be easier to walk this way. But if Nightscream leans a little harder.. it will be problematic to lead.
Hot Shot will cope.
They'll do it together.

Transformers: Mosaic #509 - "Alone Again, Techno-Organically"

wada sez: Following on from the conclusion of Beast Machines, where Waspinator appears as this wasp/Thrust hybrid, this strip imagines him being reformatted into a new body, repurposed from Beast Machines Buzzsaw. Self-admittedly, Shawn Montague was more of a Transformers Animated fanartist, and so struggled to capture the Beast Machines aesthetic. Apparently, the strip had been in the works for years! Flaherty’s original script is reproduced below.
Panel 1. Blackarachnia looks toward "Thrust-inator" in Panel 6. She sneers in disgust.
NO DIALOGUE
Panel 2. Silverbolt looks toward Blackarachnia in Panel 1. He glares, stoically.
NO DIALOGUE
Panel 3. Botanica looks toward "Thrust-inator" in Panel 6. She is quietly puzzled.
NO DIALOGUE
Panel 4. Rattrap looks toward "Thrust-inator" in Panel 6. Flabbergasted, his mouth opens to speak.
NO DIALOGUE
Panel 5. Nightscream looks toward Rattrap in Panel 4. He smirks.
NO DIALOGUE
Panel 6. "Thrust-inator" (Thrust's robot mode head on Waspinator's beast mode body) fills the panel. He rests in the palms of Cheetor's hands. He cocks his head to one side like a lost puppy.
RATTRAP (OP):
That's the most pathetic thing I've ever seen.
NIGHTSCREAM (OP):
Look who's talking.
RATTRAP (OP):
Hey!
Panel 7. Focused, Cheetor draws "Thrust-inator" toward the spark in his chest. The reformatting energy that once emanated from Optimus Primal now emanates from Cheetor.
CHEETOR:
Here goes nothing...
CHEETOR (continued):
Prepare to be --
Panel 8. The Maximals stand and stare in amazed silence. The light from the action in Panel 7 creates dramatic highlights and shadows.
CHEETOR (OP):
-- reformatted.
Panel 9. "Thrust-inator" has been reformatted into Buzzsaw. Light emanates from his outline. He stands confidently with his mouthparts open wide and arms curled like a body-builder.
BUZZSAW:
Waszzpinator ruleszz!
Panel 10. Rattrap rolls his eyes. His mouth opens in a patronizing "O".
RATTRAP:
Oy...
