There’s is a lot of hope, especially with the boom of fans joining the fandom after the movie dropped last year, people making more art on tumblr, twitter, tik tok, and so on. But also a a lot of doubt, especially after JJ Conway’s post on twitter.

BUT…I still think there is a chance…a GOOD chance. WITH ORIGINAL CAST AND CREW! Why?

We live in the internet. Information is more then easy to get out now thanks to social media. There is all kinds of ways to get the word out to people. Let’s abuse it. 😎

Fans have brought back shows before.

We need a MAJOR push through social media, more fans, more art, it’s up to us…and I think we can do it!

Fans convinced Netflix to bring Sense8 back for a finale

Fans convinced fox to bring back “Futurama” after it was cancelled in 1999.

Hey Arnold got the jungle movie thirteen years after the show was cancelled

Animaniacs got a 3 season revival 22 years after it stopped airing.

Brooklyn 99 was cancelled in 2018, and the fans convinced NBC to pick up the series.

Arrested Development was canceled after 3 seasons, but AFTER it was cancelled, it grew an audience and they made it come back!

Fans saved the original Star Trek in the 60s with letters.

They did it. Why can’t we?

So what can we do?

Be polite, be non-toxic (don’t be rude or mean, the boys would not want that, and the Nick/Netflix won’t listen), but be LOUD, PASSIONATE, AND ANNOYING! Ask for DVDs of the show/movie, and then BUY THOSE DVDs!

MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR THE FULL ORIGINAL CAST AND CREW TO COME BACK, INCLUDING ANDY SARIANO AND ANT WARD.

“Dear Nickelodeon/Netflix/Viacom, I can’t tell you how much Rise means to me, and I really love that you put the show on air. But it was not fair that the show was cancelled before it got the chance to reach the audience it deserved, only because of a few bad reviews and a lack of advertising. The show is great, there’s tons of fans, tons of art, and people, including me, want so much more! Please bring it back! We want the original crew to come, Flying Bark, for the show to get it’s full second season restored, and it’s five season run like it was originally intended. People hated the 2012 TMNT when it came out, but it got it’s chance and now there are people that love it. Why can’t Rise of the TMNT have the same? It’s clear that the creators love their work and there’s a growing fan base for it. Rise just came out at the wrong time, but it deserves it chance to shine.”

Some recs for adult animation I enjoy:

People always seem to think I only watch kids' shows, so here's a list of animated television shows I adore, that were all made with adults in mind:

King of the Hill - Genuinely didn't think I'd like it, but I actually really love it? I expected something that was basically just The Simpsons or Family Guy, but got a surprising amount of emotional depth from the main cast. Bobby Hill is my son boy.

Futurama - I am legally obligated to list Futurama. I have watched the entire series so many fucking times. I'm going to watch the reboot and we all know it.

Disenchantment - It's more than just "Futurama medieval fantasy" but tonally, they are pretty similar. I enjoy it immensely. Bean is a #bicon, and that's fucking canon <3

Samurai Jack - The original show aired as a kids' show, but the revival apparently put it into the adult category. I haven't gotten that far yet, but holy shit, it's so good so far. Even the "kids' show" part is pretty mature, imho.

Bob's Burgers - I fucking love Bob's Burgers. I need to catch up on the more recent seasons. A sitcom that DOESN'T have parents who clearly hate each other? Whaaaat?

Harley Quinn - I'm not caught up, and there are aspects I have critiques of, but overall, it's been fun as fuck. I LOVE this interpretation of Ivy so fucking much.

Metalocalypse - My dad's a metal musician, so this was on in my house all the time when I was a teenager. I haven't watched it in *years* but I still reference the early seasons in conversation constantly. The Duncan Hills will wake you, motherfuckers.

Big Mouth/Human Resources - They are better than you think they are, and the "ugly style" reminds me of classic Klasky-Csupo. Compare it to Rugrats and tell me it doesn't have similar caricature styles. Story-wise, it nails the exact blend of panicked awkwardness I felt as a disaster tween, it has SO MANY queer characters. They dramatically improved on their more problematic aspects after getting called on it in seasons 1 and 2. And Human Resources made me sob like a little baby in the episode with Kieth from Grief.

BoJack Horseman - Starts off as a goofy gross-out humor sitcom but very quickly becomes a serious drama. Incredibly heavy and dark, but holy shit the catharsis. Delves into a lot of musings about morality, celebrity culture and Hollywood, generational trauma, and the perpetuation of cycles.

Tuca & Bertie - Goofy slice-of-life about characters navigating their 30s. Lots of musings about family, trauma, sexual abuse, queer dating in your 30s, friendship, and trying to survive it all. I relate so fucking much to the main cast.

Magical Girl Friendship Squad - It's a magical girl cartoon about milennials. Their magical girl weapons are birth control pills and a bong. It's fucking amazing. I'm really sad nobody else seems to have heard of it. :(

Little Demon - Sitcom about the Devil's daughter. Unsure if it's going to get a season 2, since it's about to get taken completely off of Hulu. Still worth watching if you can, because it's so fucking good. Centers on a teenage girl navigating Being A Teenage Girl while also dealing with her dad being the Devil and her mom being a traumatized mess who's figuring her own shit out.

Q-Force - The advertising did this show so fucking dirty. It was genuinely fucking funny, and it was clearly made with love. This isn't straight people making fun of us, this is queer people making queer comedy. Watch it.

Arcane - Arcane's politics are all over the place and I am in my "Silco Was Right" corner, which is right next to the "Magneto Was Right" clubhouse. But goddamn, the animation is gorgeous and the story is intense.

The Legend of Vox Machina - I haven't watched Critical Role, so I can say with confidence that this show is fucking amazing even if you have zero interest in the original gameplay streams. Fantasy animation for grownups, where they can show blood and titties, my beloved. <3

My theory on Troll Reproduction

(This was doing numbers on Twitter, so i thought I'd put it here as well)

I theoroze thag Trolls reproduce based on love and affection, and who they receive the most from.

When a Troll receives the deep emotional feelings of romantic love, care, and devotion, they enter a reproductive state. (Similar to how Kif from Futurama gets pregnant.) And depending on who makes a Troll feel loved and cared for, an egg can be of multiple parents or a single parent.

For example: At the very beginning of Trolls 2, Guy Diamond lays an egg that gives us Tiny Diamond. Guy Diamond gets a lot of screen time in the shows, and the one thing that stands out about him is that he really loves himself. There was an entire episode, in fact, where he went too far and became completely narcissistic, which led to him losing all of his glitter. He never seriously dates anyone, he never shows any deep romantic feelings with anyone else, and just looking at Tiny Diamond, there aren't any physical characteristics that would point to a second parent.

Now, does this mean that Trolls don't have sex? That depends on if you believe these little creatures have genitalia in the first place. That's as far as I will go on that subject.

Either way, Trolls are capable of reproducing with other species. Bruce being a good example.

You might also ask; does this mean 2 Trolls in a relationship can each make an egg?

Absolutely!

Personally, I hope that if/when Branch and Poppy have kids, they each lay an egg! They definitely seem like a couple who would not be limited to 1 child.

What are your main inspirations. I love your art.

You have no idea about the can of worms you just opened-

Truthfully; a lot! I take inspiration from everything and everything. That's what artists do :) but there's a very very long list of books and shows and movies I've watched/read that have stuck with me.

As a child I had a weird bunch of VHS tapes, video games, and books. Mom and Dad was a comic collectors, and dad was a musician so I got a lot of interesting songs too. Some notable bangers are: Yellow Submarine (the animated movie), the sonic movie, a few episodes of Pokemon (the one I remember most is the island of giant pokemon and when Pikachu gets ramen), and Spyro. I also watched a fair share of Disney and Pixar, Bug's Life and Nightmare Before Christmas being my favorite.

Sonic is definitely what I remember drawing the most, tbh. My first OCs were fan children! But animation was my absolute favorite thing ever, and I wanted to draw so good-

Once I was in my early to late teens, I got my fingers on the Internet, (and learned to pirate) my horizons broadened! My favorite artist at the time made a comic called Random Doom, a slice of life comic about their gen 4 team, and I literally would not be here today without them. They have no idea I exist and I'm happy with that. I haven't followed them in years but I remember them fondly. Another big artist I followed (and still do!) is Bechnokid! Her art is such an inspiration to me, even now! I want to steal it and put it in my mouth

Other notable things: the first two how to train your dragons, glass animals, Spiderverse, Cartoon Saloon, You Are Umasou, Indie Horror projects too long to list, Don't Starve, Lord of the Rings, old fairy tales, MegaMan (especially the Mangas drawn by Hitoshi Ariga), Steven Universe, the original Teen titans, Avatar the last Airbender, Bobs Burgers, Futurama, and honestly probably so so so so much-

there's an argument that i see recurring in the futurama fandom -- i think it's a minority opinion but i've seen it across multiple platforms, from multiple people, and it very much annoys me so i'm making my lengthy counterargument. this will be ranty and i apologize.

the idea that fry and leela are toxic because "leela wanted him to change for her" is such a weird and even reductive way to not just view the ship, but relationships in general.

(this is a long post, because i have a lot of Feelings on the topic, so i'll put a readmore.)

first off leela has always liked fry. maybe not romantically (there's signs that she had a crush on him early on, but it didn't get serious til way down the line), but she related to him, took pity on him, and quit her job for him (which! was! illegal!) because he gave her the courage to do so. in the second episode, he also helps her see the beauty on the moon, something she used to take for granted. she has always seen potential in fry to inspire her and open her eye to new possibilities.

but she still has a lot of hang-ups about fry, leading into the "she needed him to change" thing. here's the thing about fry and leela: leela does not force fry to change, she inspires fry to change, because she believes he can change. bender and leela are the first ones to meet fry and understand his situation, his loneliness, the feeling you don't belong anywhere. the difference is that while bender often indulges fry's more immature and selfish traits, leela is more willing to protect fry's safety and call him out on his stupidity. for some reason (probably projection), people think this is abusive. yes, leela can be hard on him (so can the entire crew, but for some reason, people only get mad when it's the female lead being mean), but it's because she's his captain and his friend and his recklessness often puts himself and others in danger. "my three suns" and "brannigan begin again" both showcase how dangerous it can be if fry (and bender) don't have leela to reel them in.

and i think fry is aware of this, and feels bad about it, so as the series progresses, he tries more often to take command and help her out when he can (i.e. learning to fly the ship). there's also "parasites lost" where he decides he only wants to earn leela's affection if it comes entirely from him, and i've seen the argument that this proves leela only likes him if he changes, but a lot of what fry said were his true feelings, so it's really setting up that leela could be attracted to fry if fry could understand his own feelings well enough to articulate them with confidence (and not bring up his exes in the meantime, lmao). even in the most recent episode, he cleans up his apartment for leela's sake.

people sometimes compare leela to michelle. they're both forceful but lonely women who often take authority over fry. but the difference is that michelle doesn't really see value in fry beyond manipulating him to make herself feel better by comparison. i'd also like to bring up morgan, who explicitly romanticized fry being a lazy slob... and fry never really looks that happy about it! he goes along with it because he goes along with pretty much anything (he explicitly says he dated her because he was desperate), but a relationship where his worst habits are indulged isn't what he wants or needs. fry has spent his whole life being told he's worthless, and he's kind of accepted that, but leela sees his good heart and charm and she does want that for herself, but she's also honest about what stands in the way.

and here's a bit of a personal note: i know many people who relate to fry are neurodivergent. i am too! and it can hurt being seen as "immature" or feeling like you have to conform to neurotypical standards to be accepted. but you know what else sucks? wanting to be better, but not knowing how to be better, and not having any motivation to be better. leela was that motivation. i struggled for years believing i didn't need to be better because my mental health issues were so intrinsic to my identity, and accepting that i can be Myself but still be Healthy was very useful. i find a lot of the fry-leela plot very empowering, as i like to believe there's someone who will like my quirks but also push me in the right direction. leela thinks fry is silly and stupid, and she often strongly disagrees with his tastes, but she is endeared by his unique approach to love because of how genuine he is about it all (see: her love for his office supplies dinner in "fry and leela's big fling," and even the bit with the wine glasses in bender's big score).

fry knows leela is also lonely and miserable, but that she appreciates his company, to the point he believes "she'll never be happy without me" (a mindset he outgrows as it makes him unhealthily jealous and clingy). the entire point of bender's big score is that, as messed up as lars is, leela is attracted to a version of fry who better understands how to talk to her, and this experience helps her appreciate fry a lot more going forward as she truly sees he has the potential to be a good boyfriend. she just needed to see it detached from fry himself. and fry learns to let leela be happy even before he knows about lars' identity! he is capable of growth on his own because he hates seeing her upset!

as for why leela takes forever to commit to him... well, with his impulsivity issues, unintentional rudeness, questionable hygiene, and internalized sexism, he takes a while to be the kind of person she's willing to date. and she's not entitled to him! yes, it is annoying how flippant she can be (though that's also an issue with the writers not wanting to commit), and she absolutely sucks at communication. but if we can take fry's background into consideration here, we also need to take leela's into consideration. she grew up alone, bullied, neglected, repeatedly told she was unloved, and multiple times she trusted someone who said they loved her, only to be discarded once they got what they wanted from her (i.e. sex and labor). she is also terrified of being judged and thus puts a lot of weight on being successful and normal, with her relationships being an extension of that. "the cyber house rules" is all about how she wants to be with a man who makes her look good. this is a character flaw she overcomes as all these men of high status treat her like dirt and she realizes fry is the one who cares about her the most, and she doesn't have to compromise just to be taken seriously.

but fry is her best friend, the only one who really gets her (besides her parents), and she has a lot to lose if she dates him and it goes poorly, and she's too insecure to trust that she's worth it. which is why it's great that fry becomes a better person for her! she deserves to be treated with respect! and episodes like "fun on a bun" show that not only does fry change for her, he also helps her loosen up in turn, and let herself act more carefree and childish after having to grow up and conform to society so fast. "the impossible stream" also shows leela making an effort to be less judgmental, even if she worries fry could be in danger. so it is definitely not just fry who changes for this relationship.

generally i think people who hate leela and make her out to be so emotionally abusive are projecting something personal that isn't there and missing the scope of fry and leela's complex relationship, and it feels unfair. especially when other (male) characters who do the same things and worse (particularly bender) get a pass. she's far from perfect, and that makes her a great character, but she grows and learns, and so does fry -- because they want to learn and grow for each other's sake.

The scientist sighs and gets out some kind of liquid in a chemical bottle, injecting some into a needle and approaching Bender with it. "WAIT, WHAT IS THAT!?", the robot screamed, tears filling up his optics as his vision turned blurry.

"Darlin', this is for your own good", the woman said in her fancy southern accent as she violently jabbed the needle into Benders arm tube, letting it slowly fill the robots body up with fluid and putting a bandaid over the wound.

Bender felt weak. Very weak. He groans as he gets tired, exhaustion overtaking his mind. What was even happening? Why did he keep getting knocked out every second of his life?

Nothing made sense to him anymore. He's not even sure if anything was meant to make sense. Maybe he should have asked God that when he met him.

Too bad he would never see him again....

Bender was all of those things. If there was a word to describe everything he did in one, it would be used constantly. But words don't have many effects when actions are useless against you. It was driving him mental. He thought the FYRA saved him. The FYRA was supposed to be good, not bad. Not like—....

Not like Owen.

His hands clenched into fists before they quickly settled back down. He couldn't get angry right now no matter how much he wanted to be. He was sick of everything. As his optical sensors fade away, leaving him a void of nothingness, he mutters, "Fry...hurry."

They kept walking. Walking and walking. It felt like hours have been taken up in reality. Just down that same road. That same sidewalk. That same street.

"Does anyone know where we're going!?", Amy suddenly yells, getting frustrated as she throws her hands up dramatically.

Hermes was looking at a map, "uhm, I...did we miss a turn? It should be right here...", he was turning the map in all sorts of ways one would turn a map, it being horizontal, vertical, diagonal, you name it.

Leela groans, pinching the bridge of her nose, "we're getting nowhere and I'm pretty sure we're all starving, let's take a quick break and then I'm leading us."

Fry sighs, "okay...but let's be quick", he doesn't wanna make Bender wait too long for him. He doesn't want Bender to go through that again. Not again. Never again. He promised...

The crew heads into Elzar's, Fry has his cheek rested in his hand, elbow on the table as he looks solemnly to the floor. He sees Elzar come up to them, "hey, hey, hey, if it isn't my favorite customers! Bam!", he says with a smile, but that smile falters when he notices a clear absence of annoyance and admiration, "hey, where's your robot friend at?"

The crew all looks down now, cringing. "Look it's... we're having a difficult time right now", Fry said, rolling his eyes and growling ever so slightly. The neptunian tilted his head, confused, "no clue what you're putting down"

Leela spoke, "Benders been taken again", she says with a glare, crossing her arms. Elzar has wide eyes, "...by who? Did you contact the FYRA yet?", he asked.

"No, apparently the F-...", Fry pauses and squints at him suspiciously, "...how do you know about the FYRA?..."

The chef sighs, "I'll tell ya, but you's has to come back when it's closing time, I'll let you in the back door", he whispers secretively to them. They look at each other, nodding with agreement. The professor shakes one of Elzar's four hands, "it's a deal then"

"Bam!", Elzar smirks and points at him before leaving the crew to their meals.

Was your OC influenced or inspired by any particular fictional character(s) when you made them? Dillion: Dillion is drawn from a lot of different sources of inspiration, but most notably he's sorta like if you put Prince Sidon (botw) and Zapp Brannigan (futurama) in a blender and gave the resulting abomination Laszlo Cravensworth's (wwdits) voice Dogmark: He's been around for so long that I can no longer directly trace anything about him back to any specific lineage. HOWEVER. I did find out very recently that he looks uncannily like the character in the musical Rent who is also bisexual and named Mark. That was a total coincidence Sloane: a lot of her design choices were "what would be very attractive to me personally" but i did take a lot of inspiration from Jasper (steven universe) and grizzled male spy action movie heroes.

Dillion: if he did, he absolutely didn't recognize it for what it was at the time Dogmark: oh, several. the very first was both Elizabeth and Will from the pirates of the caribbean at the same time though Sloane: probably, but she will never, ever, ever share this information. ever.

How would your OC do in the last book/movie/tv show/game/etc. you read/watched/played? (the last game i played was minecraft) Dillion: he'd do pretty okay after the first few nights, but he would never be able to figure out cooking and starve to death Dogmark: he camps in the wilderness for fun all the time, so just fine actually! just going to completely ignore the horrors that keep crawling up from that ravine though!! Sloane: she's resourceful, so also pretty good. she'd get frustrated that none of the villages have anything to DRINK around here, but she'd get over it.

If your OC was a superhero, what would they be like? (powers, title, general vibe, etc.) Dillion: Captain Riptide: An ocean-themed Captain America type, with a bit of aquaman (water breathing, talks to fish) thrown in there. Basically just regular Sir Dillion, but with a secret identity. Dogmark: he's kinda already got everything already except the cool name ("What do you mean? 'Dogman' isn't cool????"), although he'd be less inclined towards vigilante heroics and more toward going on dangerous missions because the alternative is blackmail Sloane: she'd probably be one of those "mundane humans but is really good with a gun named Crackshot or Bullseye or something like that" type heroes, although her cursed monster arm would be a source of conflict that would probably lead her more toward antiheroism.

In melee/brawl he would be a Marth main though. Never played at any sort of competitive level, but he was still pretty good at it. Currently has a hard time holding game controllers on account of his claws and paw beans, especially the teeny tiny buttons on the switch Sloane: incineroar. she's a total shark about it too-- plays dumb for the first four stock, then as soon as she's down to one she opens up a can of whoopass on her opponent

If your OC was in Star Trek’s Starfleet, what would be their role/position? Or, if that doesn’t really fit your OC: why would they get kicked out of Starfleet? (please take my answers with a grain of salt; i have an extremely casual surface level of understanding of how starfleet works) Dillion: listen, he's already partially based on a character who is partially based on bill shatner as jim kirk, so. he's the captain of this starship Dogmark: some mechanical maintenance role where he doesn't have to talk to anyone, or a security role where he's monitering cameras all day. don't put him in space adventure, he'll get sad Sloane: oh, head security officer. she'll wrestle with an alien lizard any chance she gets.

What role would your OC play in a heist story? Dillion: the muscle. he's not stealthy, he's not good at talking himself out of problems, but he IS good at bonking people in the head and/or breaking down doors. Dogmark: (copied from a previous ask) Getaway driver. He's too nervous to actually be part of the operation, but he's got a lead foot and he's a pretty solid driver. Plus, if they still end up getting caught, he can definitely outrun the cops on foot in dog form. Sloane: probably also the muscle, but in a scenario where she knows someone else is willing to put themselves in that level of danger, she'd be the overseer. planning moves, calling shots, keeping an eye on her team and guiding them to safety (and big money)

What kind of classic horror monster (vampire, werewolf, alien, etc.) would your OC be? Dillion: gillman. duh Dogmark: werewolf. duh Sloane: also werewolf, but hotter. duh

What type of Avatar The Last Airbender-type bender (or non-bender) would your OC be? Any bending specialties? Dillion: water!!!!! he's a fish man, what do you want from me!!!!!! Dogmark: (copied from a previous ask) Supposed non-bender for most of his life, but in reality just never had the opportunity to discover and hone his bending abilities. By the time he learned he was actually a bender the whole time, he'd aged out of most of the available training programs. Unsure what element though! Water maybe? (after the fact realization: probably fire actually) Sloane: non-bender, but she can definitely hold her own against a bender in a fight. probably practices chakra blocking like ty lee

Your OC gets isekai’d to a bog-standard fantasy world. What does your OC do and how badly does it go for that world? Dillion: "oh thank heavens, this is much more familiar to where i'm actually from than the other, much more creative fantasy world that i got isekai'd to right before this" Dogmark: he'd spend a week in terrified denial, then one day a gnome offers him a quarter-pint of thimbleberry ale and he throws his hands up in resignation, accepts the drink, and just learns to live with all the rest of it. his dogman curse ends up being a boon for him, it would definitely help him blend in at first Sloane: she'd spend a lot of time complaining about not having TV or cigarettes anymore (puppet shows and pipe smoke just isn't the same for her), but she'd be relieved that all of her worldly responsibilities and troubles just. vanished. (except for the cursed monster arm, but she'd probably find a cleric who could just. heal her for a day's work and everything's just peachy after that)

In the Muppet version of your story, is this particular OC a Muppet or the one human? Dillion: he's a muppet, but he's one of the full-body sized ones Dogmark: human in human form, but a muppet in dog form. when he transforms, he ducks behind a conveniently placed table and the other version jumps up in the previous version's place. Sloane: she's the human, and she never once acknowledges that her costars are made of felt and stuffing

What would be your OC’s My Little Pony cutie mark? Dillion: a really fancy medieval coat of arms with a nautilus and two crossed swords. way more detailed than any toy manufacturer could ever produce Dogmark: paw print. :) puppy Sloane: a revolver chamber, with one bullet missing.

Your OC is stuck in a musical episode. What song(s) do they sing? (And how thrilled or annoyed are they about being stuck in a musical?) Dillion: he gets the confused and excited "what the hell is happening, why are we singing" number, as well as being in the chorus for every subsequent number. he's a little pitchy, but he's so into it, so his spirit alone sells it. Dogmark: he gets the emotional "all is lost" number that happens on the transition between the second and third acts. it's his one and only musical number-- he spends the whole runtime up to that number denying that he's in a musical, but when his time comes, he owns it. Sloane: she manages to figure out how to game the system by simply not speaking the whole episode-- she communicates entirely by typing things on her phone and having TTS read them out for her. everyone else wishes she would just lighten up a little

In a murder mystery, what role would your OC play? (e.g. detective, sidekick, wacky suspect, rival investigator who gets in thew way, red herring, true culprit) Dillion: rival investigator who thinks he's extremely talented at solving mysteries, when in fact he's just jumping to conclusions and assuming he's correct Dogmark: suspect who is innocent but was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time and cannot articulate why without incriminating himself for something entirely unrelated Sloane: secret detective-- played along as just some innocent observer, but was actually clocking everything the whole time.

why family guy needs to shorten its seasons

ok so i just saw how s22 of family guy is gonna wrap up with only 15 episodes (this season was terrible, but i digress) i hope it stays that way because i think a BIG reason why family guy has gone downhill is bc the writers and staff are burnt out af with the huge episode load rather than it being a lack of talent. like ya’ll be shitting on modern family guy for being bad but then praise modern south park, well in all fairness matt & trey are only making 6 episodes a season now while the family guy writers make like 20 so i don’t think it’s rlly a fair comparison LOL. plus the family guy episodes take longer to make too bc of the animation, they take up to 9 months to a year while matt & trey make the south park episodes within 6 days. so yeah i’ve been wanting family guy to make shorter seasons FOREVER bc i feel like the show would benefit A LOT from making quality over quantity. it’s been hard for me to keep up with family guy episodes these days with how many bad episodes they keep pumping out. it makes it hard to dig and find which ones are actually good and worth watching lol. (which i’m on a mission rn to torture myself with a bunch of modern family guy to find those episodes bc i’m such a martyr like that, i’ll link the blog i did a while back on the top 10 modern episodes below) bc yeah family guy still comes out with good episodes and funny jokes every now and then which shows the writers are talented and do know how to make magic if they rlly try lol. (and i still think modern family guy is wayyyy better than a lot of shows these days) so i think the show just needs to make less episodes that are higher quality than 57382992 bad episodes. i mean literally every other popular adult cartoon these days has shorter seasons too. south park has 6 episodes a season, rick & morty has 10, bojack horseman has 12, even the latest futurama season only had 10 episodes lol, so yeah i think that’s what family guy needs to do too to keep up with the popularity of those shows and become the cool kid on the block again like it once was. (bc yeah back in the day family guy was like the most popular adult cartoon on tv and i feel like it deserves to become that again and has the potential to as well) ik family guy always had long af seasons but it worked in the past when the show was actually good and every single one was a masterpiece. that was something i appreciated abt family guy back then was how we were getting WAYY more consistently good episodes than south park (bc south park seasons have always been shorter than family guy seasons). anyway i hate it when people complain about the south park seasons getting shorter like ya’ll are dumb u do realize matt & trey are old af and burnt out right? LOL stop pressuring two dudes in their 50s who are close to the age of retirement to pump out 473892923 cartoon episodes. i feel like if south park had longer seasons the show could’ve gone downhill as badly as family guy did (and we did see the show getting pretty bad in seasons 20-23 before they shortened the seasons even more) so lets be grateful matt & trey are doing what they need to do to keep the show running and going strong still. anyway here is the list i did on the top 10 best modern family guy episodes a while back if u haven’t seen it.

Time for my weekly Futurama review. It's odd watching an Xmas episode two days after my birthday but it was definitely worth it. Spoilers ahead!!

I didn't think it would happen, but I Know What You Did Next Xmas has topped Children of a Lesser Bog for me. So far, this is my favourite episode of the revival. Johnny 2 Cellos said in his podcast with Toonirific Tariq (Cartoons That Curse) that this was his favourite episode of the first six. Considering how much I adored Children of a Lesser Bog (despite its expositional issues), I hadn't expected this to beat that episode quite like it did.

Just a head's up, this review is going to be a lot of 'I thought this thing was very neat', because I smiled for pretty much the whole duration of the episode.

I Know What You Did Next Xmas did pretty much everything right, especially considering this isn't from the show's original run. It's not up there with revival episodes like the Late Philip J. Fry (which comes to mind because of the very fun inclusion of the Professor's time machine), but it's certainly not far off. It has a really cool sci-fi concept in terms of the time travel elements, with the Professor going back in time to 'fix' Robot Santa, and with Bender and Zoidberg abducting Robot Santa and being the ones to save the day as a result. I'm not intelligent enough to figure out if any of this 'works', but I think it was cool. The humour was also very strong; I don't think it's the funniest episode of the revival so far, but it's definitely up there for me. And, the episode was really wholesome, which is surprising since the episode's A plot is Bender and Zoidberg kidnapping and trying to dispose of the body of Robot Santa.

Speaking of which, my favourite aspect of the episode was how incredibly sweet it was. Seeing the different families gathering together for the holidays was so lovely to see, even if we only got a couple of scenes with each of them individually. It was nice to see Fry spending the holidays with the Farnsworths because of how often he feels like he has no family seeing as he left his old one behind him in the past. The same goes for Leela; it's so lovely to see her finally get the family life she missed out on as a kid. The Kroker-Wong family gathering was really nice; it was fun to see them further explore the family dynamic with the kids. And, it was fun to see Hermes with his family, of course with them limboing. I also really love how the episode took the direction of everyone realising they'd forgotten to invite Bender and Zoidberg to their holiday celebrations, and actually wanting to spend time with them. The revival's been really good at presenting the characters like people who genuinely enjoy one another's company, definitely better than a lot of the Comedy Central episodes, which would sacrifice these heartwarming character interactions.

This revival's also been really good with continuity, in my opinion! It was a joy to see Kif and Amy's kids again, especially in the cosy setting that holiday episodes provide. The time machine was implemented really well. And, I really enjoyed the references to previous episodes, such as when the Professor was going back in time and it showed moments from (I believe) the Day the Earth Stood Stupid and Put Your Head on My Shoulders. I haven't seen Disenchantment yet beyond the first episode (I'll probably check it out once it's finished) but I still thought the cameo was neat. I also really liked the joke of the Professor saying he was going alone so no one would end up becoming their own grandfather (God, Roswell That Ends Well is such a good episode). I've seen people on here complaining that the revival is lazy in referencing or continuing from previous episodes of the show so frequently, but I really don't see the problem? Like, don't you want there to be a sense of continuity? It bothers me that a handful of fans have been thinking so uncritically about how the show implements topical elements and references to itself, but I digress.

If I had to nitpick, I guess I don't feel like Robot Santa had as much of a presence in this episode compared to previous episodes. It's a complaint I've had about characters like Mom or Zapp, where they don't feel nearly as much as scene-stealing as they used to. It could just be because of the overall different vibe of episodes from the original run compared to the show's various revivals. It's something I can't quite articulate or explain, but the Simpsons has the same problem. With the Simpsons seasons 2-8 and Futurama seasons 1-5, the episodes feel a lot sharper in their humour, if that makes sense? But, with episodes past a certain point, the humour just feels kind of dull and like it doesn't land as well; like Homer or Fry will say a half-funny line and then there will be some dead space that kills any humour. That's sort of how it feels, anyway. If you want me to elaborate on that, please feel free to ask me in the comments, a reblog or an ask. But, yeah, I thought the 'cookie' joke was funny considering how menacing Robot Santa normally is.

I'd love to see this revival focus on some more underexplored dynamics like Bender and Zoidberg because it was really fun seeing them together in this episode. They have such good chemistry due to their surface-level differences and inherent similarity. They're both incredibly sensitive and lonely individuals who crave friendship (which has some irony to it because robots are seen as being emotionless and Decapodians die when they reproduce, so in a way it's almost as if they're not made to have connections with others), but where Zoidberg is incredibly kind and openly tries to build connections with people, Bender is kind of a total jerk who tries to seem tougher than he actually is. Zoidberg's such a precious character and I'm hoping we get some more Zoidberg-centric stories in this revival. I'm also waiting for a Hermes episode, and possibly a Professor episode.

The song at the end was fun, in my opinion anyway. Definitely a good send off for Kwanzaa-Bot (I presume so, anyway).

I'm wondering if I missed something in the original run or the CC run, because they've made a surprising number of references to Leela drinking in this revival. Does anyone know what that's about? Maybe Leela's always been a drinker and I just don't remember it for some reason.

So, who exactly am I?

I'm Rayna (but you can call me Ray), I'm 23, a complete British + Bisexual Stereotype, and my pronouns are She/They. Oh, I'm a Borrower too so I'm around 4" tall! ^w^

Why did I make this blog?

I created this blog in 2017 shortly after discovering the G/T* community! I've always loved the idea of being tiny (I remember having quite a few dreams/daydreams when I was a kid about my favourite characters being giants) so I was very happy to discover that there's actually a whole community dedicated to this pretty niche/weird love of mine! :D

*G/T stands for Giant/Tiny and it’s essentially about extreme size-differences! It can range from Giants interacting with Humans to Humans interacting with Borrowers/Fairies/etc. (also referred to as Tinies) and there are so many creative ways to explore these dynamics.

People also tend to identify as giants, tinies or size-shifters- I personally prefer being the tiny (around 3-4" tall) in any scenario but that’s just my preference. ^^

What do I post?

Obviously this blog is predominantly dedicated to G/T, but here’s a quick overview of what I post/draw/write the most:

G/T Fluff! This blog is mainly about cute moments between Giants and Tinies because I absolutely adore stuff like that. Handheld fluff is my absolute favourite, as one of the most comforting things I can imagine is being held by a giant and feeling really protected and loved. (That’s one of the main reasons behind why I love it so much, I tend to get really stressed/anxious a lot of the time and I find a lot of comfort in how calm and happy G/T makes me feel)

YUNGBLUD, Ninja Sex Party, Don Broco, TWRP, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Ozzy Osbourne, Twisted Sister, Beastie Boys, Panic! At The Disco, DVDA, Queen, The Blackout, Lorde, Wet Leg, Ghost- Honestly you could just pick up any Rock/Punk Compilation CD and you’ve basically got my taste in music in a nutshell. Growing up the Kerrang channel was almost always on in my house and definitely shaped my taste in music! I also adore the soundtracks from a couple of musicals (mainly The Book Of Mormon, Little Shop Of Horrors and War of the Worlds) and I like listening to music from the videogames I listed above! Oh, and the soundtracks from the Jackass films. Those kick ass.

Any other interests/hobbies?

I’m really interested in Animation and I hope to pursue it as a career one day! I also love reading comics (especially independent ones/ones based on shows/films that I like) and I enjoy making them sometimes.

Another one of my favourite hobbies is baking! I love making brownies the most, but cakes and cookies are a lot of fun too.

I like to collect things too, and my favourite things to collect are random cute ornaments, plushies, My Little Pony toys and DVDs/Blu-Rays of my favourite shows and films (I have every season of South Park on DVD, plus all the Jackass films and the show!) Plus I love collecting merch! Naturally I love collecting CDs and Vinyl too...

1) What We Do in the Shadows

I mean... Can you tell I'm obsessing over this show?? It has everything, old stupid disfunctional characters, queer as fuck and just completely genius and funny!

2) Arcane

I've been a gamer my whole life and this show just does game adaptation finally justice! It had the best animations I have ever seen, the story is great, the sound track too! It's just perfect

3) Flight of the Conchords

Put tugether a very funny show and very good music and I would love it! It has the right amount of cringe and even though I watched it like 10 years ago I still regularly listen to the songs 😂

4) Futurama

Sci-fi, stupid, funny, crazy, dark humor, Fry is such a dork but so loving, all the characters are so well written and they develop so much throughout the series, it's one of those show I will always be up to rewatch

5) Castlevania

Can you see a pattern here? Animation series, from a videogame and vampires?? I want to draw a crossover between this series and wwdits!

6) Black Mirror

I love series with separate stories in each episodes! Every single one is very fucked up and with huge twists, I never know what to expect

7) Love Death + Robots

Same as Black Mirror, not only a separate story in each episode, but different art style!! You watch this and you just think "this is true art" not a single episode let me down in this serie, truly s masterpiece

8) Dirk Gently

This series was so promising to me, it was very weird and funny and kinda mysterious but it got cancelled after season 2 and I'm still crying over it 😭 I'll just have to deal with it

Last time, Bao-Dur, Nariko and Wander became hot teens. A couple of LTWs were had. Galadriel and Bilbo became toddlers, and then children (Kilik and Katamari also became children). Bender, the robot from Futurama, walked by the lot and chatted about the weather. The family got a kitty named The Cloverfield Monster. HK-47 insisted on taking showers and short-circuiting. Oh yeah, and Einstein got abducted. Again.

Bao-Dur: Look, just because Wander likes to stick his thumb up his nose, doesn't mean you have to noogie him all the time.

Wander: *sticks thumb up nose*

Nariko is a good listener.

But it's okay, she and Wander are BFF anyway. But...er...not actually BFF. Like in the game. DAMN YOU MAXIS, MAKING ME HAVE TO CHANGE MY TERMINOLOGY.

I call this The Annoying Stuff room.

What are your favorite trios in animation? Mine are as follows

Fry + Leela + Bender - Futurama

Sam + Clover + Alex - Totally Spies

Anne + Sasha + Marcy - Amphibia

Oh those are top tier trios for sure, Amphibia is still fresh in my mind and I have fond memories of Totally Spies and the girls, I haven't watched futarama in forever but I still liked those threes dynamic, I have a few trios that stuck in my mind

Luz, Willow, and Gus - The Owl House

Three kids made outcasts from their peers for their respective reasons, bonding and supporting each other as a found family, and getting stronger because of it, not to mention they are all POC which is awesome.

Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather - Sleeping Beauty

The ACTUAL main characters of Sleeping Beauty, three good fairies tasked with defending the Princess Aurora from a curse cast from the evil fairy Maleficent, literally raising Aurora in the process, one incessantly kind, one naive but well meaning, and one who takes NO nonsense but it is still compassionate. These three deserved their own show in all honesty. Their dynamic is gold.

Sofia, James, and Amber - Sofia the first

Two royalty by birth and their stepsister who's still learning how to handle it all, these three don't start out the best, with jealousy and pettiness getting between each other but together they learn lessons about eachother and become better people through it all. It's one of the most postive while being realistic depiction of sibling hood I've ever seen.

Ben, Gwen, and Kevin - Ben 10 Alien Force

Technically there's several version of these three but their dynamic I loved most in alien force. Ben is carefree but serious if need be, a wildcard, Gwen is the snippy brains of the group, able to plan well, and Kevin is the prickly brute strength, running in headfirst. All together they solve extraterrestrial problems, and sometimes magical ones... sorta. Sci Fi and all.

This was fun, honestly there's one trio I wanted to put here, as there close to my heart but there a video game trio so they don't qualify, this was still fun, I always like your asks, they make me think.

one size fits all (a kif x amy fanfic)

basically an excuse to establish some of my headcanons about amphibiosian gender about amy’s gender identity issues, aka me projecting gender identity issues onto amy ^^

"Just pick whatever you want, Kiffy. It's all on me."

"Anything?"

"Anything."

Kif wasn't used to having choices. He spent too much time taking orders that ranged from demeaning to downright dangerous, his attempted counterpoints always brushed off as "insubordinate" or "lame."

That's why he was always grateful to get time off with Amy. Besides being beautiful and brilliant, she always made sure they both had fun. She could be a little pushy sometimes, insisting he not be afraid of whatever social gathering or thrill ride she had in mind, but if he got too shaky or his camouflage came out, she'd make sure to ask, "Do you want to go home?" It was always worth it, though, to try so many new things with her. It made him feel alive in a way he never thought he could.

He figured today would be simple. There was a sale at Alien Overlord and Taylor's, and even though she didn't need the discounts, Amy wanted to check it out. ("The real fun is wrestling other girls over a half-price pair of pumps," she'd explained.) Captain Brannigan was scheduled for a tar bath, so Kif crawled off before the jackass had a chance to drag him along. Now here he was, navigating the aisles of the middle-end department store, holding Amy's hand like some lost child, overwhelmed by choice. A tiny tadpole in an enormous pond.

Fine jewelry, talking watches, personal assistants, gigantic televisions and holograms… Amy filled her bottomless cart with pretty much everything, but none of it caught Kif's eye. It was honestly kind of suffocating to have this much financial freedom. He was grateful that Amy was willing to buy him something… but at the same time, it was a lot of pressure. He felt like he was constantly being watched. And not just because of the numerous security cameras.

By the time they reached the formal clothing department, Kif was willing to just buy the first thing that looked halfway decent, just so Amy would believe he was having a good time. Kif's wardrobe was fairly limited, as he was usually obligated to wear his DOOP uniform and didn't have the time or closet space to dress up beyond that. On top of that, there weren't many dazzling wardrobe options for creatures without bones.

Darting his eyes from rack to rack, he finally found the one.

A chocolate brown cloak, with minty-green rings looping around the shoulders and turtleneck. Kif brushed his arm softly against the sleeve. Tightly-knitted wool, or some facsimile thereof, maybe sheared off some artificial sheep. Soothing to the touch either way. Kif needed warmer clothes for the rougher winter climates, since that velour nonsense wasn't enough to keep his cold blood warm. And, oh, what luck – a nearby rack with a plaid brown-green scarf that matched perfectly! (Was that rack there before? Did the store somehow read his thoughts to cater to his needs? What a convenient invasion of privacy!)

With a cautious but ever-growing smile, Kif flung the scarf around the dress's hanger and held it in front of himself. It went right down below his knees – comfortably modest. "Oh, Amy!"

His girlfriend was in the process of stomping some lady to the ground, a pair of kitten heels held triumphantly above her head. As she turned towards him, he struck a semi-confident pose. "I think I found my 'look'."

Amy let out an adorable giggle, then lifted her foot so her tortured adversary could scamper away. "Aw, Kif, you're so cute! But, uh…" Why was she hesitating? At least she didn't stop smiling. "You know you're in the women's section, right?"

Kif looked up behind him. Sure enough, he'd picked out his ensemble from the "women's petite" section. His confident pose melted into a pathetic slump. "Oh, I, uh, didn't notice, wow." He tried to put the dress and scarf back on the rack, but couldn't quite bear to let go.

As usual, Amy noticed Kif's anxiety and stepped in to mediate. "You can buy the dress. It's okay." She took it from his hand and gave it a nice look-over. "It's not something I'd pick up for myself, but I think it really brings out your skin tone. You're a total autumn!" She pinched his squishy cheek. "Spiffy little Kiffy." Kif felt a flush of relief, albeit not enough to flush out all his anxiety.

He then watched her throw the dress into that weird black hole of a cart, disappearing into her personal abyss. Kif looked down at the vast nothingness and gasped, but Amy was unfettered. "MomCorp'll just ship everything in one big bundle to my place tonight."

"Does it feel weird to buy from your company's biggest competitor?"

Amy scoffed. "Shplease. I'm off the clock. And Mom might be evil, but at least I know I'll get my stuff delivered on time without as many weird stains."

Once again, Kif was starstruck at the smallest of things. Amy never seemed indebted to anybody – not her internship, not the government, not even her family. If she cared to do anything for anybody, it wasn't because she was forced, it was just because she cared.

That made it all the more treasurable that she chose to share her life with him.

Despite how easy it was to toss tons of merch into their cart, Kif and Amy still had to wait in the checkout line to pay for it all. Not that either of them minded spending more time together.

"Amy, I have a question for you," Kif began, "and I hope it doesn't come across as strange."

The Martian girl grinned. "Yes, I did buy that cute lacy thing a few aisles back, and I can try it on as soon as we get in the car."

"No! Not that." Kif felt himself flush again, his skin tinted the colors of his surroundings. "I meant, uh…" He gestured towards the segregated clothing racks through which they'd previously rummaged. "It feels like almost everything here is supposed to be for men or women only. It's very distinct, you know?"

"What?" Amy scoffed. "You make this place sound so unwoke. We have unisex clothing sections… somewhere around here…" She scanned the store for several seconds, then gestured to a few racks over in the corner. "See? Unisex, one-size-fits-all clothes, right over there."

The amphibian squinted where Amy was pointing. "Looks like a lot of beige cloaks."

"Well, what do you expect?" She shrugged. "If we can't fit it to a specific body type, why bother making it look cute?"

"See, that's what confuses me," Kif said. "On my planet, we all reproduce the same way. There is no 'male body' or 'female body.' We all wear the same shawls in the same colors."

"Sounds kinda blah," Amy said. "No offense."

"Well, the shawls aren't exactly the pinnacle of high fashion. We struggle to make it far in Miss Universe pageants…" Kif shook his head. "Whatever. My point is, on Amphibiosia 9, your gender isn't much of an issue."

Amy tilted her head. "So… how do you know you're a man?"

"It just felt right to me." Kif shrugged. "We adapted your ideas of gender centuries ago to make it easier to communicate with other planets. After a certain age, we just sort of decide if we'd like to live as a boy, or a girl, or some mix of the two, or simply continue living as genderless. And in my line of work…" Kif glowered as he remembered his first day on the job, and the disgusting awkwardness that came with Captain Brannigan not immediately clocking him as a male. "Let's just say, being male is probably the best option."

Amy stayed silent for a few seconds, then spoke one word. "Huh."

"Sorry if I went on a bit of a tangent." Kif twiddled his fingers together. "It's just so interesting to me how much of a role gender plays in your species. Fashion is women's territory. The military is only for men. Only women want to urinate entirely inside the toilet."

"I… don't think that last one's a thing."

"My captain insisted it was. I didn't believe him either." They both chuckled about that. The line moved slightly; they stepped forward in unison.

"I guess it's just funny to me," Amy said. "Not being raised as one gender or the other. I mean, I know some species don't even have gender, but then you don't really get a choice there, either." She lightly touched her neck, collecting her thoughts. "I can't imagine what it'd be like if I wasn't born a girl."

Kif grinned at his girlfriend. "Either way, I know you'd be wonderful."

Amy smiled in response to show her gratitude, but now her mind had derailed. Not growing up as a girl would have changed her whole life. Living on Mars, all that mattered to her family was that she was their heiress. She could indulge in the Wong family spoils all she liked, as long as she undertook the responsibility of keeping the Wong family going.

Be a little lady, stay cute, stay pretty, don't run around too much when company's over, get out of the stables, don't take a second serving, don't leave your room until you're under 110, keep quiet at the cotillion, don't waste time practicing your swing, you'll never have the upper body strength for it, don't look too cute or they won't think you're of child-bearing age, get out of the sweats and try on the dress we bought – oh god never mind you look like a cheap stripper, don't bother with middle-class men, don't mess around with chemicals or you'll end up infertile, stop talking so much, stop wasting your life in space, get married already, have children already, stop working already, settle down already.

If she were Amphibiosian, if she could choose not to be a girl without ever having to live as one… would she?

Suddenly Amy felt a bump against her back. It seemed the line had moved up again, and the people behind her didn't appreciate her spacing out.

"Are you okay?" Kif took her hand.

"Yeah, totally!" Amy brushed herself off. "Just thinking." They stayed silent for a few more seconds, then she added, "I think that's really cool, having that choice all to yourself."

"Oh, Amy…" Kif's eyes went sad. "Do you not want to be a girl?"

"No!" she responded quickly. "I mean, yes, I like being a girl. I like calling myself a girl. I like being your girlfriend." Now Kif was blushing greener than spring. "But I feel like other people keep trying to decide what that means, and it's so…" She struggled to find the right word to convey this complicated feeling. "...bleh. Sometimes I feel like it'd be easier if I could just take days off from it, you know?" Amy chuckled a bit, but she wasn't entirely sure if she was joking.

"I've never really thought about it, but you'd make a handsome gentleman, if you're wondering about that."

"I'm not! I mean, thanks, but like… gluh, I don't want to be a boy either!" She made some motions with her arms. "I'd just like to be a girl when I want to be a girl, and then maybe detach my gender and just, I don't know, stay in and watch a movie and eat something that'll give me acne." She waved her hands again. "Like, I don't know if I want to live that way forever, cuz it's not like it works for my poor friends, but to just, like… try? To… not try?"

Kif couldn't really follow what Amy was talking about, exactly. He'd never lived as a woman in this universe, nor had he spent long periods of time being mistaken for one. The way Amy strode into a club in her perfect little outfit, he'd never suspect that she had any anxieties about how she looked. She'd even insisted he not worry about her parents and their never-ending scorn. But perhaps there was something looming over her too.

Instead of Commander Brannigan and his asinine requests, she was bound by the weird rules humans projected onto their women.

(Though there was certainly some overlap between those threats.)

Amy gave a small smile. "Sorry. I have no idea where that came from. It's nothing."

As they finally reached the checkout counter, she stood up taller and flashed her perfectly-white teeth at the spindly robot cashier. "Is everything you'd like to purchase in your cart?" the cashier asked, pulling their purchase up on a screen before her.

Originally Amy felt ready to move on. But once Kif's cute little cloak popped up, with the "women's petite" label stuck next to it, she looked down at her bottomless cart and wondered if she really was exploring all options.

"Kiffy, can you wait right here?" She pushed the cart towards Kif. "I just want to check something out."

Feeling their fingers touching on the handle, the little frog swooned. "Of course, dear. Just hurry back–"

But before he could even finish the sentence, she'd pecked him quickly on his bulbous head and run back off into the aisles. Hundreds of customers grumbled behind Kif, but as long as he knew Amy would come back, he wouldn't let it bother him too much.

After such a lovely day with his smizmar, going back to his tiny room on the Nimbus felt more like a prison than usual. In fact, Zapp sometimes used it as a makeshift cell for dangerous prisoners, even while Kif was sleeping, so Zapp could play pool in the actual holding cell.

But then his little laptop lit up with a call request from the only number that ever called, and the room got a bit brighter.

He accepted the call. "Hello again," he said, keeping his cool.

"Kiffy-wiffy!" Amy's face took up his whole screen.

"Any reason you're so close to the camera?" he asked. Amy was quite skilled at manipulating her camera, so if she wasn't showing her body, it was for a good reason.

Oh… Kif could already feel himself melt at the possibility that maybe there wasn't much she had to show but herself.

"I just wanted you to see something I got." Her face went relaxed in a way that seemed to confirm his suspicions.

Kif started stammering, hiding his face in his hands as if they hadn't done this routine thousands of times before, both online and in person. But when he peered through his fingers at the screen, it wasn't what he'd expected at all.

A short green vest over a loose-fitting white button-down, with the sleeves neatly rolled up to Amy's elbows. She wore a plaid tie that seemed to perfectly match the scarf he'd just bought, and sensible khaki capris. She topped it off with a green newsboy cap.

"Wow, Amy…" Kif started. "You look so…" He struggled to find the words. "Coordinated!"

"Exactly!" She beamed. "I wanted to get something to go with your dress. And I thought… maybe it'd be interesting to look in the men's department?" She shrugged. "Just to see what it's like."

Kif took in his girlfriend's beauty… er, handsomeness? Frankly, any word that could positively describe a person's appearance applied to her here. "Do you like it? I mean, I know I do, but… how do you feel?"

"It's not bad at all! Obviously I wouldn't've bought it if it looked crappy." Amy tugged at the front of the vest. "I'm just not sure I love how it fits."

"Maybe it just needs some alterations."

"Hm." Amy pondered aloud. "You could be right. Let me try something."

She took her vest and shirt off like it was nothing, sending a shock down Kif's nervous system. She ducked out of frame for a few minutes. The hum of a laser emanated through the computer.

When she put her altered clothes back on, she seemed much happier. "How about that?"

Her shirt now cut off just below her breasts, and her vest only went halfway down her waist. She put her hands on her hips and posed, showing off her midriff with pride. Now it was totally Amy.

Her boyfriend clasped his hands with delight. "It's perfect!"

"I don't get why more guys don't do this," Amy half-joked, twisting her body around. "Some of them totally have the hips for it."

"Maybe next time we go out, you can set an example," Kif said. "You wear that suit… I'll wear my dress."

She gasped. "Maybe next time I'll get you something in pink!"

"We could go down the entire color spectrum together, the two of us."

"Mm-hmm," Amy nodded. "I'll probably still throw in as much pink as I can, though." She shrugged. "But it's fun to mix it up a bit."

They both gazed into their screens, dreaming of the next time they'd venture into public together, showing the universe the styles they'd chosen for themselves.

Or maybe just sit inside, watch a movie, and eat something that'd give them acne. If they allowed themselves to do so, of course.

At least they both knew they'd allow each other to do anything.

Benders head felt dizzy, his vision blurry and everything else was spinning. The robot shakes out of it and lets himself sit down.

Thank God it was all over.

Or was it?

As Bender walked from the nearest porno theatre and robot strip club, he overheard voices.

Why was everybody so loud all of a sudden? They were never this loud before. Bender shudders, he felt oddly cold. He passed by a family of four, a young girl had suddenly sighed, "I wish I had some candy"

Bender felt his body move on its own, heading over to the store and stealing it without anyone noticing. He gives the candy to the little girl, to which she hugs him and says, "thank you mister!"

After that, the bending unit instantly runs back to the planet express and breathed heavily, which was unneeded because he was a robot, but, he felt it was necessary at the moment though.

He trembled, and unfortunately for him, every single one of the crew was there. They turned around and stared at him as he was against the door.

Bender quickly turned his frightened demeanor around and glares at them, "the heck you looking at!?" He growls and everyone soon turned to face away from the bort, giving Bender relief. He sits down in his chair, hoping no demands were given. But today wasn't his lucky day.

The professor spun around in his chair, "good news everyone! We have a delivery to the planet of zorlo 23, but first...er, can someone find my boxing tape?"

Oh no.

Bender felt his insides vibrate and he tries to control himself but he can't stop it, he gets up instantly and as fast as the flash, finds the thing that Farnsworth was looking for, "here you go master!"

He slaps a hand over his mouthplate and gives himself a worried confused look. Everyone was looking at him, Fry gets up and heads over to his small boyfriend, "Bender? You-"

The robot suddenly dashes away leaving the others behind. Fry was concerned about his best friend and partner.

"Is it just me, or have we saw him like that before?" Hermes asks and everyone suddenly has the weird feeling of deja vu.

Leela speaks up after she thinks about it for a moment, "remember the time code incident? Benders eyes were red swirls and he kept doing things for those disgusting aliens?"

Fry let's out a sharp gasp and he mutters inaudibly, "the obidience virus..." He gets up and goes to walk out the door. Leela soon grabbing his arm before he could go, "where are you heading?" She asks him.

"To go find my boyfriend of course" Fry says determined and shrugs his arm away from her and stomps out the door. Everyone in the building seemed surprised.

Meanwhile, Bender sat curled up in a ball, his legs to his metal door. He seemed to be crying and he was covering where his ears would be if he had any. Everything was so loud.

He hiccuped and sobbed as he trembled. He felt himself shaking and was embarrassed about the state he was in, he was supposed to be tough and macho, not some whining machine.

"Bender?" A familiar voice spoke up and the robot in question seemed to freeze. He looked at his best friend and human boyfriend with sad eyes.

Fry soon put the flashlight on the floor next to them and sat next to the bending unit, "Bender, you still have the virus, don't you?" The robot looked away as soon as Fry asked. A hand on his metal shoulder surprised him and it pulled him in close so Fry could hold him.

His boyfriend ran a hand down his extendo arms and used the other to rub circles on the robots smooth metal back, "shh, it's okay, sweetheart" Fry says in that soothing tone of voice Bender always needed when he was upset.

The bending unit hugged onto Fry for dear life, he was a sobbing mess.

"Fry, I-...I thought they deleted it, I thought it was gone!" Bender seemed to choke on his own words which was technically impossible but he did anyway, "everyone is so loud and my body keeps acting out on its own! And- I- i- I'm fighting it but it just keeps making me-"

Fry carefully kissed Benders mouthplate, letting electricity run through him and Benders optics to widen. Fry was used to the electric tingle by now. Bender let himself be held and leaned in forward more, his signal of kissing back. Fry parted after a bit, smiling warmly and petting Benders head now, making him purr.

"It's okay, we'll get the professor to delete it, honey" Fry whispers sweetly to his robot, "this time, I won't leave you till it's actually gone and proven"

Bender let's the horizontal lines in his mouthplate lift into a smile. Fry lifts him up a bit and puts the robot in his lap before carefully lifting himself up and carrying the unit back to the planet express building.

Fry hands Bender a pair of earmuffs, "to block out the noise" The bending unit appreciates it and puts them on, letting them drown out and muffle all the voices that he could hear in New New York. The human kept running a hand down Benders arm, knowing how it kept Bender calm.

It took a while, but Fry held Benders hand all the way through it. Farnsworth had completely erased the iobey virus and any kind of connections with it.

Fry came up to the smaller and kneels on on knee besides the table where Bender laid on his back on, "how are you feeling?"

"It's not so loud anymore.." Bender let's out a content peaceful sigh and leans the side of his head on Fry's chest. Fry gives Bender another warm smile of reassurance and love, "you wanna stay home today and watch a movie?"

Bender nods, "I'd like that"
