when u and shelly were kids you wanted a pet pony so bad….. and when stan was born you guys tricked him into begging randy and sharon for a pony, your parents didn’t think it was that funny as you guys did 🤭

definitely give stan a bunch of advice on girls, boys, etc, if randy ever starts genuinely being a bad parent to you guys you’ll always spend as much time as you can with your little siblings.

if you guys ever were to get allowance you would divide yours amongst all 3 of you just to give them some extra, they are forever grateful (stan is jumping all over the place)

whenever shelly or stan get in trouble you always sneak up to them and try to talk to them if their upset, and you try to distract sharon/trick her into getting them out of trouble. you always keep them out of trouble anyways

when you babysit them it’s A RIOT, shelly screaming at stan, stan screaming at shelly, you end up just yelling at the both of them to stfu and sit down 😕 and that one time where shelly throws cartman against the wall while she’s babysitting him, you help him up (and slightly giggle,,,)

helping at tegridy farms when your siblings don’t wanna/can’t do it anymore, your still the least favorite child but with some dignity lol. (u definitely have tried some weed before and shelly n stan have smelled it on u, giving you a wtf look 😭)

always teasing them because your in higher grades than them, but u always help with their homework since you should already know it !!

if you and stan get into a fight he’s always the one apologizing (still upset but like, how upset could this guy be if u bring him dr pepper) and embarrassed the next morning. you forget about the fight and he takes a sigh of relief.

if you and shelly get into a fight, your always the first apologizing because she’s so damn stubborn. she tells you “whatever, it’s fine” and sends you out of her room, definitely acts like you didn’t even talk the next morning and gets all buddy buddy with you

whenever they wanna hang out with their friends, sharon tells you to walk/drive/watch them, it irritates all 3 of you because you just wanna relax, stan wants some alone time with his buddies (and not to get ripped on) and shelly thinks that she’s 13 so she’s old enough to be out by herself >:(

I've had two scenarios pop into my head recently that both basically boil down to "Thor is having Sex ProblemsTM, luckily Loki is here to help."

anyways in summary hs takane is like. tends not to notice personal space, hates touching stuff with her hands, likes having control over what or how she hears, and has a tough time staying still. POST STR... its all to the max. takane is overly aware of everything. all 5 senses are as much of a nightmare as they are a relief and it's all mixed together!!!!

ok her sensory needs that she already had pre ene are still there but completely amped up, except the personal space one. now everyone is always too close and literally just opening her eyes (HEH!! OPENING EYES!!!!) is super overwhelming bc WHOA EVERYTHING IS SO CLOSE AND HUGE AND HD. i could imagine comparing it to like, wearing contacts for the first time for any fellow glasses wearing people. like u know this, youve seen all this. but suddenly youre watching it differently without a frame around ur eyes and it just feels weird. for takane the frame was a screen instead of the glasses yknow. and to her its A LOT

i think post str takane keeps using her powers and having meltdowns because on top of all the existentialism she has to deal with being alive and everything, suddenly She Cannot Control Anything And It Is A Nightmare. she can't handle the lack of control she has over her needs and body temperature. just feeling hungry or sweating after walking for a little in summer makes her upset. bc she gets her body back during summer so GOOD LUCK WITH THAT GIRL. the clothes she wears feel all insane and irritated and nauseous!!! awful!!! even showers feel strange bc AUGGHHH so much is touching her at once!!! she also hates eating soooo yeah also a thing. i think she's always been a picky eater but post str its like she will only eat like 2 things or something

ON THE OTHER HAND.... it suddenly goes on the opposite end. like for a few days she's nightmare overstim city and then she's SUPER understim and COMPLETELYYYYY over eager about having a body and horribly indulges in like. overeating and running around <- overeating (especially when u usually avoid eating), awful for ur tummy. running a lot when u have chronic pains, also awful for ur pains later. sooo nothing she wont pay the price for later. it needs to get pointed out to her she needs to find a balance and cant have all or nothing (by haruka probably)

the personal space thing comes back here like she gets So touchy and needs hug or death. i think she can be all happy hugging haruka and all of a sudden pushes him away and is like WHOA I NEED TO GET OUT OF MY BODY RIGHT NOW MAYBE RIP MY SKIN OFF TOO MAYBE so it's rly like a light switch all of a sudden she can get overwhelmed with it and revert. like jumping back and forth between seeking and avoiding sensation.

i drew this once but haruka with his arms inside of takane's sleeves LOLLL i think skin to skin rly helps her when she's feeling like she needs sensation. a big part of the sudden overindulgence is OUGH IM REAL!!!! bc like i said takane isnt just dealing with having a body again she's dealing with having her Life again. being alive again. and she LOVES being alive. and the avoidance of all these sensations sometimes piles up and ends on the opposite like I NEED TO EAT💥💥💥I NEED TO SCREAM💥💥💥💥I NEED TO RUN AND HUG AND KISS AND DANCE AND SWIM💥💥💥 yknow. so yeah haruka helps her a lot with it when she needs touching and hugging 🙏🙏🙏 cuz he also wont get offended if she's suddenly like Ok get away from me before i explode🙏

also post str takane To Me also has mobility issues like haruka does bc all her muscles are atrophied from yknow Not moving for 2 years so it's like, even more that she has to deal with. physical therapy is incredibly invasive to her too so it's extra difficult. i think haruka and her do it together and that's why haruka is so on top of what's going on with her, he's the closest and sees her whenever she's the most vulnerable. also their situations are So similar they cant help just gravitating to each other for support. i also think haruka's the one to always point out to her when she's overindulging like Hey i love that ur rly enjoying that bigmac but i can already see you wanting to rip out ur organs later tonight so maybe dont eat a third one.

anyways ermmm takane's biggest challenge is Stop resorting to opening eyes whenever it gets too bad. like i also got sensory issues and assuming whoever is reading also does imagine having the option to just Jump out of ur body when its feeling Awful. ofc ur gonna take it when ur feeling like that. but it doesn't help takane to do it. while it helps her to calm down, it's not good in the long run. she actively wants a PHYSICAL life and work on all this. takane never wanted to die and is super motivated to get better but it's not quick or easy!!! eventually she finds a good balance i think. she's still a rly touchy person who hates grabbing her phone directly without the sleeves in the middle and will only eat like 3 things❤️ but also a hug lover❤️

This is going to be SO disorganized, ignore me and my rambles no order just everything in whatever order I think of it in.

TEXAS his name is Lázaro Carlos Jones-Gómez, he regularly goes by Charlie, you can call him Carlos but do not call him Lazaro, he only has that name bc he was baptized with it. If you call him that though you will get his attention immediately bc his brain will think you're his mother (Mex if that's not clear) cause she is the only one who calls him that.

I've said this before but he's twins with Coahuila (Mariana Talía) who I can't actually talk about that much bc she's not my oc BUT she is older by 7 minutes, and they share a braincell and a half and usually don’t know where it is :\

speaking of other states he and Nuevo León (Jacobo) get in no less then 3 fist fights a year for absolutely no reason besides they’re idiots and like to beat each other up.

Speaking of fights, Charlie is missing a tooth, has 101 stories of how it got knocked out, most ppl don’t actually know which one is the truth (none of them he fell out of a tree).

Someone take his guitar away I beg, he gets 10 time more annoying when he has it. Which Tennessee (Annabelle) taught him how to play said guitar, everyone hates her for it. He's a decent player, and has a pretty okay singing voice, they're all just sick of listening to him.

Bc I have to have at least 1 very stereotypical thing, he has the largest cowboy hat collection this side of the Mississippi. Give him the most specific event, he has a hat for it.

He didn't talk till he was like 3-4 but oh boy is my man making up for it now, he doesn't stop. Talks with food in his mouth and in his sleep.

Refuses to speak Spanish to most other personifications bc spite but will absolutely be interpreter for any stranger on the street who needs help.

Bc I think it's funny gets to have the 'am I catholic or protestant?' debate.

His first about year of living in DC he barely spoke English and bc of that attached himself to the--at the time--only other native Spanish speaker in the house, Florida complained to Al everyday bc "I'm a babysitter now!" but wouldn't say shit to her Carlito over it ever.

His favorite shows of all time--despite their inaccuracies--are Gunsmoke (1955-75), and Zorro (1957-59)

Speaking of nicknames; Carlito was his main nickname for a long time, used to distinguish him from Cuba. Most of Latin America + Florida still call him that. Carlos = Cuba//Carlito = Texas. He started going by Charlie bc he didn't want to be called Carlito anymore, but being called Carlos felt weird bc no one ever called him that. So Charlie.

He has vitiligo bc I once saw a drawing of someones oc and it legit looked just like how I imagine Charlie and their oc had vitiligo so it just got pressed into my mind.

Also he was one of those kids who was super blond but by the time he was like 12 he wasn't anymore.

So y'all know my hc is personifications have a mom and dad, most of the states (US and Mexican) had 2 human parents and were eventually 'adopted' by Alfred or Rosa.

There are exceptions to that and Coahuila and Texas are one of them, way back when like 1820s Rosa (Mex) and Alfred were dumb and did a thing proceeded to have an extremely panicked nine months and an even more panicked "holy shit there's TWO"

So Charlie gets such a super fun family dynamic we love it for him.

TWST CHARA HCS P.1

Warning: Angsty parts!! Body insecurity, poverty, death, mentions of abuse

Also a little out of universe stuff- I know most ppl develop their UM later in life, but i think it would be fun if it happened when they were younger.

as always, feel free to add your own headcannons! i always love to see your guys’ thoughts and the way other ppl see the characters!!!!

Heartslabyul:

Riddle:

-Has a hard time with physical affection since he grew up in a dangerous household, touching people can make him uncomfortable. Unless someone’s very close to him, expect them to be pushed away when they try to touch him

-He mourns his childhood after watching movies and reading books about kids living their lives and hearing what his classmates did when they were kids.

-He thinks of the hedgehogs as his children, and will talk and vent to them when he has a hard day

-He used to dress as the queen of hearts when his mother wasn’t looking, and would parade around their mansion. It was the most fun he was able to have

-He cherishes the time he was able to spend with Trey and Chenya, and often tries to will himself to remembering more about what they did, even if it ended in him making up stuff

-His rules are how he shows his love, and he often finds that he makes up nonsensical ones to keep his friends safe (ex: ADeuce planning to mix energy drinks to pull all nighters and study/ He makes up a rule about how many cans you can have in the kitchen at a time)

-He’s only been caught once, by Cater googling the rules and seeing that they don’t exist

-His voice gets really high pitched when he gets upset

-The first time he used his unique magic was accidentally on Chenya, he just brought it up to his mother later and acted like it was the first time

-It took the three of them hours to get the poor cat out of the collar

-They still laugh about it

-Hes insanely picky about his tea

-He also likes to brew his own different teas! He enjoys the different combinations of plants

-sneezes like a grown man

-Cannot do chores to save his life. Since hes from a wealthy family, i think theyd just hire ppl to do things for them. Hes never had to do things that werent studying before

-Also cannot dress himself. He tries, but he either looks like a mess or an old man. good thing cater knows how to dress well!

-loves, loves, LOVES sleepovers with his dormmates. even if he does seem miserable, he enjoys feeling like a normal teenager

-terrible balance. i will not elaborate.

Trey:

-He genuinely thinks his dad jokes are funny

-He feels somewhat trapped in the bakery, even though his parents told him he can get whatever job he’d like. He thinks it’s his responsibility to take over the family business

-He’s a hardcore enabler when it comes to his siblings as well

-Genuinely thinks of Heartslabyul as his younger brothers, often overfeeding them in the same way grandmothers would when you go over their house

-He gets very happy seeing people enjoy the things he makes

-A telltale sign when he gets excited is when he bounces on his feet and rocks back and forth very subtly, only a handful of people noticed it

-Is a huge fantasy geek, and used to read all kinds of series and play all sorts of games where he’d pretend to be the hero

-Cater joins him in these games when they have the time

-Feels incredibly guilty over letting Riddle get to the point of overblotting, and he beats himself up over it

-He lost a lot of sleep during that time, and Cater had to intervene and tell him to take care of himself

-Speaking of, he doesn’t take very good care of himself. He often spends so much time worrying about others that he forgets that he has to keep himself alive too

-The therapist of Heartslabyul, everyone goes to him for advice

-First time he used his unique magic was baking with his dad and he accidentally made the cookies taste rotten. He got so upset that he wished he could change the taste and when his father went to take a bite, they were surprisingly good. Trey knew he used the wrong ingredients, so how did they taste good? Turns out the cookies were bad, his father got sick, and he realized that it was his UM

Cater:

-Really good at cooking if he’s given the right tools

-Struggles a lot with his self image, and picks himself apart in the mirror until someone distracts him

-He uses escapism a lot, often distracting himself with trends or taking pictures so he doesn’t have time to think

-Really quiet and out of character around his family. He mentioned a few times that his sisters teased him, so I can see this as a reason for him to shut down when around his family so they don’t have anything to make fun of him over

-Sometimes he doesn’t know whether someone’s flirting with him or just being nice, which leads to a lot of issues

-Takes everything said to him to heart, whether it be good or bad

-Wants to be a professional photographer. He wants to make sure everyone feels beautiful and looks happy so they don’t go through what he did

-One of the most genuine people once out of that persona. He is also a good listener and gives the best advice

-Also gives amazing hugs

-Like mind blowingly comforting hugs

-Discovered his UM his first year. He was overwhelmed trying to paint the roses and sneezed and suddenly, three more Caters appeared. It took a while for him to get all of them to come back into one

Ace:

-He has pretty bad acne that he tries to fight off, and also has a lot of scars left over from the years of picking at them (speaking as someone who still struggles w acne after 7+ years [I had premature acne so ive been stuck with it since i was little])

-he gets very, very upset when someone points it out

-He sleep walks and sleep talks, which is a terrible combination for the residents of Heartslabyul

-Bullies people to show his affection, which is a trait inherited from his older brother. He thought them fighting a lot as kids is the reason why they’re closer when they’re older, so he applies the same logic here

-Is insanely jealous of Deuce for developing his UM before him, and often finds himself being bitter around the other boy

-His hair is actually flat, he styles it and spikes it with gel bc he thinks he makes it look cooler

-Wants piercings, is terrified of needles

-He’s good at a little bit of every sport, he just sticks to basketball because he likes it the best. His second best is baseball, and then volleyball

-Was actually hoping to get the dorm leader position when he fought Riddle, all because his older brother was one when he went to school

-He talks to his brother all the time, either between sending him death threats, memes, or whatever he needs to complain about it. His brother always tells him to shut the fuck up, which means, in their language, tell me all about it.

-Speaking of, they definitely have made up a secret language

-He felt bad about punching Riddle afterwards, but never apologized. He has to admit that he got a kick out of seeing the mark on the boys face afterwards, when they were still on rocky ground

-He genuinely cares about Yuu, and thinks about offering them to live with him after they graduate of they need time to get settled, and if they can’t find a way home. hes already had multiple conversations about it with his family

-Shockingly, a really good person to rant to- about anything, really

Deuce:

-Has a stick-n’-poke tattoo from his rebel days, absolutely refuses to show anyone

-Despite what you may think, he gave it to himself! I think it would either be something very stupid and wannabe hardcore, or something very sweet and sentimental (like something for his mom and grandma)

-Has insane eyelashes, like, you know how some guys have killer lashes genetically? its deuce. deuce is that guy.

-Thinking about what he did as a kid makes him sick, and he tries everyday to make up for what he did then

-He tries to make things for his mom since, assuming she’s a single mother bc his dads never mentioned, he knows shes busy

-He likes eggs bc they’re easy to cook and it’s the one thing hes confident enough to cook to give to his mom. Little does he know shes happy with everything he gives her

-He repairs old magical wheels! He keeps a lot of the parts in his room at home, which leaves it a cluttered mess

-He sells them too, to make a little bit of money to spoil his mother and grandmother for birthdays and holidays

-Very good at doing hair in general. Since he used to cut and dye his hair by himself, he got very good at it very quickly.

-He gets very frustrated very easily, and has to reel himself in before he lashes out

-he was the kind of kid to try to sneak in pets, anything from frogs, to snails, to a hedgehog, to a badger or a stray dog. mama spade has seen many of them be “hidden”

-He sometimes likes to sit with his mom before bed, or to have sleepovers with her. She’s his rock and makes him feel comfortable- she helps him forgive himself. When she plays with his hair while they talk or she rubs his back it reminds him of when he was a little boy and it gets him a little choked up

-He sleeps with a stuffed animal at home, he didnt bring it to NRC bc he didnt want his dormmates to think differently of him

Savanaclaw:

Leona:

-Treats Ruggie and Jack as younger siblings, and his overblot made him think of them being closer due to them seeing him at his weakest

-Likes it when people play with his hair! He finds it therapeutic, and often curses his beastmen instincts to snap at anyone who comes close to his ears

-Has a ton of tattoos aside from the one on his arm

-He does his own tattoos, often spending most of his time awake either sketching out a design or actually doing the tattoo

-After he graduates he tries to set up programs to help people in Ruggie’s situation (even though hes the second prince, hes still a prince and holds a lot of power over decisions made)

-Got his scar from an assassination attempt done when he was a child

-Has a hard time seeing out of his scarred eye

-Lost his mom in an assassination, the same one he got his scar from.

-He’s afraid of getting close to people/caring too much abt them because of it. He doesn’t want anyone to hurt them :(((

-Tries his best to talk to his dad and take care of him since he’s sick, but it makes him sad to see his father in that state so he reverts back into his I-don’t-care attitude

-Actually enjoys being around Cheka, as annoying as he finds him. Some of the innocently cute things the boy does makes him happy and wanted, and he takes pride that Cheka brags about him to the other people on campus

-He discovered his UM on accident during a fight with his brother. He slammed his fist on the wall and the whole thing disintegrated. The horrified look his brother gave him haunts him to this day

-He saw the same look on Ruggie’s face during the overblot and that day came back full force. It took a while for them to talk the same way they used to again

Ruggie:

-Has a hard time moving his arm due to the injury he got during Leona’s overblot

-When Leona almost turned him into sand it left a giant scar across his shoulder and down the side of his arm

-Constantly on guard due to his upbringing, the only ones he trusts are Leona (just close friends in general) and Jack (thinks his sense of justice would stop him from pulling anything)

-Cuts his own hair a lot of the time, which ends up in it being choppy

-One time he showed up to school with a half mullet and Leona forced him to cut it again

-Also has slightly crooked teeth/ a gap between his front teeth (I THINK ITS VV CUTE WHEN PPLS TEETH ARE LIKE THIS IF U HAVE TEETH LIKE THIS M W A H UR PERFECT)

-He also has hella freckles, being a spotted hyena

-He sits outside sometimes and talks to the stars hoping his mom can hear him. He tells her about his day, what he’s learned, who he met, etc etc

-Does little magic tricks for the kids back at home and teaches them what he’s learned as well as how to study so they can do well when they go to school

-He can come off as apathetic due to him using humor as a way to make others feel better. Sometimes it works and they feel better, but other times it makes them feel like hes making fun of them. He understands why it can make some people upset but he just wants to help :((

-Has a hard time sleeping alone in a room, since hes used to his grandma or one of the neighborhood kids sleeping next to him

-Okay so unpopular opinion and not a headcannon, but ive seen sm fanart where ruggie has brown eyes and it makes my heart MELT

-Collects little things like buttons and wire, he says that it could he used for something later but he enjoys having little things around

-kicks his feet when hes sitting on a high ledge

-crazy bastard, can and will go cliffdiving, skydiving, etc etc without being asked. he enjoys the thrill

-idly chews on things, has snapped a pen with his teeth on accident (jack mentioned that he has an insane jaw strength). Resulted in him having to wash ink out of his mouth for 20 min

-cannot stand the feeling of chalk/unglazed pottery on his nails. makes him get the icky shivers

Jack:

-Was genuinely heartbroken when he learned what Leona did when he overblotted, he looked up to him and was beginning to think of him as a brother

-Doesn’t mean to come across as intimidating and it hurts him when he notices some people be nervous around him due to his size

-He brings little things back to his siblings and takes lots of pictures. He encourages his little siblings to do their best and even helps them perfect their magic

-He first discovered his UM when he was very young, he sneezed and his hands turned into paws. It took his parents and grandparents hours to calm him down and get him to stop sobbing

-Loves it when people rely on him for his strength

-His sense of justice has led him to being taken advantage of when he was younger, and a lot of people betrayed him due to his trusting nature. It hurt him real bad and thats why he’s so reserved now

-He talks to his cacti, and named every one of them

-He brings his little siblings gifts from Night Raven every time he goes home

-Also fell victim to being put in a too-small princess costume for his little sister’s tea parties

-He does it and does not complain

-He eats an insane amount of food. With how big he is along with the fact that hes constantly working out. He never stops eating.

-Some of the beaded bracelets he wears arent savanaclaws uniform, theyre bracelets his little sister sent him!

-I feel like since wolves are pack animals, jack is a little anxious about being away from his family for as long as he is. when he comes home for breaks, he melts if his parents or grandparents give him a hug

-Fidgets a lot when hes anxious too, a cheek biter methinks

-Hates sand. Hates the feeling of it, how hot it gets, the way it sticks to everything, everything abt it

-Idk if hes ever talked abt it before but I feel like he has a hard time with the heat, white wolves are built for snow!!!!

-Sweats an insane amount, always has to put on an insane amount of deodorant before he leaves

most of these are based upon things we can sorta just infer about the series since hirano loooves to leave things open-ended, so some of these are moreof theories/explanations than anything if that's alright.

i put some big organized lists of hcs below the cut :)

to start i'll talk about some general fun stuff! (assuming that's what you're here for):

i always use they/them for pronouns for heinkel. mostly because there's a lot of alternation between he and she in different translations and that doesnt sound very cis to me honestly. but i rock with people who use any pronouns too.

i also see lots of ppl say theyre a lesbian and i feel like that miiight just be a byproduct of The Abridged Effect but i dont really have a label on them. they have their freak shit going on with makube so whatever that is

not a natural blonde and is very diligent about taking care of their hair. only lets their roots grow back in once they start getting older and stop giving af

gets a prosthetic arm and leg after the london attack. we know injuries inflicted before becoming a regenerator still stick around (because of anderson's scar) so walter inflicted permanent damage there.

didnt really listen to mainstream music until they started hearing it from other people like seras and makube. heard classic rock after twenty plus years of exclusively angelic choir music & opera and their brain almost exploded

their dynamics with other characters:

was raised with yumie/yumiko at the orphanage so they have a sibling bond, but they drifted a bit in their teen years/early 20s until enrico made them partners in section 13 again. it was awkward for both of them for a bit but they eventually came into their own as iscariot's dynamic duo of murderers. theyre generally pretty serious with each other but sometimes the cain instinct still kicks in

they view enrico as their boss but still fondly remembers their times together as a kid. mostly just thinks he's pathetic, but in a loving way.

anderson is a very clear father figure to them, and as iscariot's next regenerator after his death they feel like they have impossible shoes to fill; theyre very hard on themselves for that reason. the way he died definitely contributed to heinkel's self destructive habits

they had met integra through enrico before the events of hellsing and just... hated her to death. but in a funny almost homoerotic tension way. if seras was there she would have lost her mind over it and would have been overprotective to some degree

now here's some details on the time skip in general:

heinkel was rushed to the vatican (or maybe some other section 13 base) very soon after the battle of london, not a moment too late. if they were taken anywhere else they would have died of blood loss, but was given the choice to become a regenerator human like anderson for a chance to save their life. heinkel accepts because they believe walter is still out there and wants a chance at revenge. it worked and hence heinkel is now seemingly immortal/doesnt age.

side tangent is that i think becoming a Regenerator ends the aging process at whatever time you take it which explains why anderson's age is unknown and why heinkel looks the same in their supposed 40s/50s

after finding out walter had died and their battle was meaningless they were in a dark place for a long time. they were having trouble properly taking care of themselves after becoming a regenerator (i can imagine it's probably pretty weird!!). while still being a part of iscariot they were sorta benched by enrico's regent (before makube) from entering any of the organization's affairs for the next few decades. they were sort of left to rot in a way, which certainly didnt help with the grief. they considered reaching out to the hellsing organization but couldnt bring themselves to. they still somehow managed to become acquaintances with seras after the battle since they shared the same struggle and losses, but that's about it.

side tangent 2: i think seras and heinkel would genuinely become close after integra's death, but that's very far in the future

enter makube about 15-20 years into the timeskip. makube arrives in section 13 as a bishop and a new caretaker to heinkel, and is hellbent on helping them out, since theyre being "neglected" by the current archbishop, and makube regards heinkel as very important for being one of the few remaining veterans of the war in london. them forming a genuine bond would come afterwards, but that's how it started. overenthusiastic makube and tired heinkel shenanigans ensue and somehow they become tied at the hip. makube would become the archbishop quite a few years after this, and heinkel by extension sorta just becomes their de facto mission buddy.

The first person she comes out to is surprisingly Max. Her reasoning for this is “You already hate me so this will probably hurt less” and Max is just like “I never hated you, you big dummy” and they have a Moment

(I also hc them giving the other gender envy and that’s why they clashed sm at first)

Gender presentation is always weird for him bc yk,, the 80s™️ BUT. Loves finding little ways to make himself feel more like Mike and not like boy mike yk? Like he lets erica paint his nails one day with clear polish and wears less polos etc etc

One of these ways is going to Max’s bc home girl knows how to do hair okay. She learned to braid for El when her hair was getting longer and kept practicing on Lucas before the breakup so she is experienced. Anyways Mikes favorite is when he had two braids on the side that tie into a little ponytail. It makes him feel like he has a crown lol

Has scream cried during clothes shopping w her mom and pretends like nothing happened. When she eventually comes out to Karen they have a long talk that ends in Karen cradling Mike and promising for things to change

Lucas and Dustin were so supportive when they came out!!! Like when initially told they were so chill and like “that’s wassup” but in the leading weeks they were going above and beyond to make mike feel more comfortable. At the end of the week Lucas threw a coming out party and made a little sign, Dustin and Erica made a cake!!

Speaking of Erica her and Mike will literally be in the isle of a fight but still doing sleepover activities. Like one time Lucas came downstairs to see them going back and forth while making friendship bracelets (not necessarily genderfluid mike but they mean sm 2 me)

While doing Mikes hair he and Max will exchange music taste and Max will give him California Knowledge (wink wink gay ppl)

Bc she’s trying to express herself more or whatever, Mike ends up dressing like if Eddie was in love with collared shirts and Max will call her a poser all the fucking time

Joins drama in sophomore year because it makes them feel so much more comfortable, playing a character on stage is more fun than playing one every day yk

1. yes. i love the idea that max would be the first one mike would come out to. it honestly makes a lot of sense. and i would love a sweet moment like that. (and that gender envy hc!! YES)

2. YESSS. i’ve never thought much about it, but i kind of want mike and erica to bond. erica would roast him but in a... nice way? and i’ve seen a lot of hc’s about nail polish, but this one makes the most sense realistically, since i don’t think mike would reach the stage of being able to wear other colors for a while.

3. the braiding hc!!!! ily. mike in braids is just a great concept on its own, but you also added max into it, and i love that.

4. yes. just yes. i imagine karen saying something about mike being her son, and mike just breaking down and telling her that she’s not. at least, not always.

5. they would. i can imagine dustin and lucas asking questions so they could make mike more comfortable, but never prying too much. they just want to know how to mike feel safe in their own skin.
