I know what I want from the tv industry and it‘s a three season series on Fernando Alonso.

Not DTS documentary style or self-produced, I want a Hollywood retelling of his story that makes everyone think it cannot be real and then they look it up.

i do find the difference between jpop/kpop showcasing people who didn't necessarily have the most raw talent to begin with openly working hard to become better singers or dancers vs the western, and specifically US obsession with acting like the only real talents are the ones who were "born" with it from day dot interesting.

Even as OTT as knb is, it does give everyone relatively realistic weaknesses, and 90% of those weaknesses are that the human body can only do so much. Kise can only do things he is capable of and if he doesn't have the training and stamina he wears out fast is canon just like Mido only taking shots hes confident in! But its easier to miss as an impulsive team under pressure and intimidated. SI!Kagami has preknowledge but also the adult perspective to take a deep breath and strategize.

and as an underdog team with no adult guidance, seirin did they best that they could (which is pretty fucking good). also don't you remember caring so fucking much when you were a kid? i remember all the posturing and stuff. pressure was easy to succumb to.

i see being able to go "okay, what next?" as a skill. even as an adult i deal with a lot of other adults that fixate on a thing that happened and how it's 'not fair' or 'it sucks'. yeah, it sucks. what next? how do you handle it? other people do what they do. what will you do?

si!kagami 'how do you do fellow kids?' and to be fair, he's just providing perspective. even without that, seirin was able to make it. hopefully, this time they can make it more securely, confidently, with opportunities to actively learn rather than by the skin of their teeth.
