I love Ori! What was the design idea behind his hair? I don't see a lot of characters rocking a rat tail kinda braid and it's very charming for him 🥰

Thank you anon!! I have an OC called Rrildri who has similarly wild short hair (theirs is feathers though), and I wanted to do smth different.

Rrildri

The idea of a braid came from the typical beach braids we get here. it's something that to me has come to signify innocence because children and playful adults get them. For him it's a sign of individuality, he keeps his hair messy but the braid is something he can adorn... Also because his vampire boyfriend can pull on it to bite his neck LOL

If you were to have some OCs from completely different settings meet, which OCs would you pick and how do you think they would interact with each other?

I think Rrildri and Oridiil should meet. Rrildri as a bulwark of Protection, the bastard child of a God, their feathery hair and their thing for flirting over some beers... and Ori with his social awkwardness, affinity for religion, and the representative of a form of organization of the State that Rrildri would see as completely backwards (Land has a system that's more like an anarchist form of communal living without authorities).

Rrildri would probably flirt with Ori, who would be very confused. Also they both have gold skin and that's fun. Their color schemes would go well together. Rrildri could teach Ori how to loosen up!

I feel like talking about Cad and Rrildri! they're the first ocs i developed for a future RPG type of game with visual novel elements in which they navigate a fantasy world where injustice is almost eradicated! Cad lost his mom when he was little and he was adopted by Rrildri's mom. They're both demi-deities from the same celestial parent, Joren, patron of protection and paladins. So they're both expected to be paladins, and Rrildri excels at it, being named one of the best of Land (where they live). Caduceus, however, barely paid attention to his Celestial language classes and can't read or write his parent's language. Can't blame him, because he was plotting a plan to ride a massive loophole in the paladin's law and thus become a necromancer with the power to bring his mom back!
