Asking as someone who isn’t a major gothcleats fan, but who wants to understand the euphoria regardless

I feel crazy. Here’s my thing abt gothcleats, since episode 1 of season 2 I’ve thought “well wouldn’t they be cute and silly” bonding over soccer and the such and such you understand. Then as the season progressed it kinda was pushed to the back burner of my mind, BUT THEN, toxic gothcleats era was really my era man like I was obsessed with them they made me crazy and I just couldn’t stop thinking about them and I love them dearly and it was one of those things I never like, expected to be canon ya know I was always like this is for me and sometimes will makes a joke about it and yes the way it was canonized was for the joke BUT STILL. Also when they said they were doing a reunion I was like “oh damn gothcleats will be untrue” (bc in my mind it was always a post canon thing) BUT THEN IT WAS REAL!!!
