3. What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics?

goddd. with me, it's definitely 'love confessions,' 'yearning,' and comedy! sometimes light miscommunication, but that's just the deal with bkdk i guess... i actually made some memes for this before ahahah

10. How do you decide what to write?

unlike many cool writers, i don't have that many AUs in my head that i'd like to write. there's just one or two solid ones floating around (out of the many other fleeting ones), and those are the ones where i feel like i would die if i didn’t write them, so theyre the ones which come alive!

12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?

UM LOL a lot of them are embarrassing but i guess i don't dislike a/b/o anymore (even though i still rarely read it). i can't think of much else tbh, i cast a pretty wide net for reading

34. What aspects of your writing are inspired by/taken from your real life?

mostly the comedy, but it's also certain memories i have! like for example in "in your dreams nerd" when deku is talking about his two neighbours that are enemies with each other but have dogs that love each other, that’s a real story from my childhood lol

45. What’s something you’ve improved on since you started writing fic?

100% the characterisation and the emotional pacing in my writing. i refuse to look at my first bkdk fic but i KNOW it was seriously lacking in both.

basically any comment from peona, and also this one!! tbh idk why this comment in particular has stuck with me for so long. the last time i heard from this commenter was in 2020 and this comment was left on a fic of mine that i hate, but for SOME REASON i still think about it. i think it's the reassurance that someone out there resonates so much with my writing!

Engaging with other creators/commenting on stuff is one of the most uplifting & serotonin inducing things while simultaneously instilling the ugliest anxiety within me.

Am I talking too much? Am I acting too familiar? Are they just being too polite to tell me to shut up? Are they just humouring me cause they can see how pathetic I act? Are they annoyed by seeing my name pop up again?

It's so vile, sometimes I post a comment & hover there for a minute straight, debating if I should delete it again. This is especially bad on twitter. On Tumblr it feels someehat safer bc the tags allow me to "hide" my comments a bit more.

But it also is so fun to compliment people! I love pointing details out & just being like "Wow you did this!! This awesome thing! Look at you making magic with your hands!"

Extra happines boost if the creator somehow reacts to it. I had shitty days be saved by simple sweet interactions, it warms my heart. Boy is it hard & confusing to navigate social media sometimes though :')
