Since Fantasia, Gabriel's been trying for clothes that aren't a full suit of armor all the time. He tries not to think about that too hard either. It does mean they can cuddle (is he allowed to call it that) without a bunch of metal in the way. The nice thing about having old bodies back, though, is that Monkey King's fur is soft and nice and he's warm and, well,

okay, it's honestly unfair that he has a peach-colored heart on his face. Like, how's anyone else supposed to compete with that? He's cute, is what Gabriel means. Monkey King kisses his forehead and grins with all his sharp teeth, a reminder of what else that could turn into.

It doesn't, because the angel's still too embarrassed to ask again. Gabriel's content just to share space, anyway. It doesn't get rid of the awful deep longing he doesn't yet understand what to do with, but it's enough. (it's not.) (it has to be.)

"So, tell me what happened," Anna stated one day as she sat next to Elsa in the palace library. "What?" Elsa giggled, putting away her book and turning her full attention toward Anna. "Well I mean... you can't blame me for wanting to know what happened. Why you shut me out... ya know... what happened?" Anna asked again. Elsas eyes softened in sadness. "Well.... when we were little... we were playing in the throne room with my powers," Elsa started. "Wait I don't remember that," Anna stated, confused. "You'll understand in a minute, I promise. The girls heard a floor squeak from behind them. Jack had walked in on the girls, he had a bowl of chocolate with him as a stopped dead in his tracks, right in the middle of eating. Elsa sighed. "I guess I should tell both of you," Elsa stated before moving over some so jacj could site next to her. Jack sat down and offered Anna a peice of chocolate before Elsa continued. "Mama and Papa took us to see the rock trolls... they heald you but... the took your memories of my magic away..." elsa began again. "So that's why I don't remember..." Anna muttered. Elsa nodded before continuing her story. "Papa said I had to keep my powers a secret from everyone... and I was so afraid to hurt you again, I just... stopped all communication..." elsa finished. "I'm so sorry elsa...." Anna whispered. "Wait... then what happened to Jackson that day? Did he really just.. fall in?" Anna asked. Jack stopped eating when he realized Elsa was looking at him. "What?" He asked. "Jackson and I were skating, and.... the ice broke underneath me... I don't remember exact words... but I remember him pulling me out of the way before falling in... I reached my hand out to him... but I struck his heart," Elsa muttered as she looked down and fiddled with her hands. "You... you thought it was your fault, didn't you?" Anna asked quietly. "I still do," Elsa replied. "And then Jack showed up and... I got a second chance," Elsa stated with a smile as she looked at the silver haired boy. When the three were finished spending time together, Anna pulled Elsa aside. "I see the way you look at each other," anna stated with a smile. "What?" Elsa asked, confused. "You guys are so in love!" Anna whisper-shouted. "What-? No were not- I don't even know what that kind of love feels like!" Elsa exclaimed. Anna rolled her eyes. Jack walked out of the room, spotting the girls. "Hey uh.. Elsa... can I talk to you? Alone?" Jack asked a bit nervously. Anna smirked before gently shoving Elsa toward Jack. "Well I am BEAT. I'm gonna head to bed. Gnight!" Anna exclaimed before running off in the direction of her room. "Is she... okay?" He asked. Elsa shook her head and smiled. "Oh I think she's fantastic," Elsa replied. "What is it you wanted to talk to me about?" She asked before looking at Jack. He gulped nervously. "Right.. uh... I was-was just windering... if you would want to go.. on.. a... date.. with me...?" Jack asked. Elsas eyes shot open. "Nevermind it was a stupid question. I'll-i'll just leave you to sleep-" "I'd love to," Elsa replied. Jack looked at her. "Really?" He asked astonished. Elsa nodded her head. "Oh thank you! How's tomorrow? Around 6?" He asked, a giant smile plastered on his face. "Perfect," Elsa replied. "Until tomorrow," he stated before taking elsas hands and kissing her knuckles before flying away excitedly. Jack and Elsa were going out on a date! He was ecstatic. The next day, Jack flew around the whole time. He had taken off his brown cloak, so he was just in his white shirt and brown pants. He flew around the kingdom, gathering any flowers he felt Elsa would like. He also flew to where he knew Kristoff would be.
