Oops I like this ask. Beauty is the natural state of being. Things and people and creatures that are left to grow freely and differently without an outside force trying to make them different or normal. There is no normal. Beauty is self-honesty and imperfection.

Truth is found in the natural cycles of things. It's the thing that hurts others the least. It's the thing that feels like hope, not oppression.

If I stare hard enough at the void, I can almost see what's inside. I can definitely sense it. It sees me too, it's known me for a long time. I think we might be friends.

Hang on I got a cool pic I took that might be relevant!

Context: the wild clouds in the background were the front of a massive storm cell encountered while driving. Inside it, the winds were so fast it was shoving cars off the road, rain so heavy you couldn't see three feet ahead, non-stop lightning right overhead. 🌌 On what do you base your sense of morality, and why is it all meaningless in the face of an uncaring universe?

It's based on my own lifelong obsession with fairness and learning about the injustices that other people face, but the secret ingredient is OCD (specifically moral scrupulosity), which makes me [annoyingly] idealistic in some ways. It's all meaningless outside of the realm of humanity because the universe is uncaring, duh.

☕ What's your favorite kind of tea for when you're beset upon by terrors?

I have this one oolong that has a nice roasty flavor, which is unusual compared to most oolongs I've tried, and is very cozy and comforting.

Very much so.

It's hard to say... I think I was too young to remember the exact moment it happened.

Anyways Oracle AU Submas (Oraclemas?).

Ingo and Emmet have the ability to divine the future, with one issue. Ingo can see the timeline of fate, Emmet can see the events to unfold, and neither can see what the other does. Ingo doesn't know whether what is to come is good or bad, and Emmet can only see events out of order.

They are able to bypass this by holding hands and using full concentration (aka co-divination) to see the full future, however they usually just use their individual visions and piece them together. Co-divination is reserved for either actual fortune-telling services or to investigate a vision either one feels may be concerning.

anyways other fun notes:

Ingo's ability to know when things happen but not what they are make him patient and paranoid. There have been instances where he predicts an event and prepares for danger, then when it actually arrives it turns out to be something perfectly fine (eg. a surprise birthday party)

Emmet's knowledge of future events stresses him out, he gets wrinkles and creases much faster than Ingo, and essentially ages earlier

The twins often used these abilities to aid them in battle growing up, which later led to them pursuing the skill further until they developed their own sense for battle

Besides working as Subway Bosses, they sometimes operate as fortune tellers for those who request their help

They have seen a whole scope of different events, good and bad, and are generally used to talking about any kind of scenario. Some people interpret their lack of reactions to mean that they don't care about the future, but that is not the case

There are anomalies in their visions, certain periods or events don't make any sense to them and they can't make them out clearly

it is so extremely underutilized that Nico is heavily implied to have powers of just. anything ghosts are reportedly able to do.

we know canonically that he can drop temperatures to freezing/to the point where it creates frost, and does so involuntarily or unknowingly at times. We know he can project emotions and memories out onto others, just in general and with physical force - both his own memories/emotions and general emotions as well, such as radiating an aura onto his enemies so that they would fear him more. We know it's heavily implied he can straight up create illusions and inflict madness upon others. We know he's eerily silent when he moves and seems to just appear in places. We know he can control/walk through/mess with dreams. We know he can become intangible and pass through solid objects and terrain without even realizing it.

like, that alone is so much! but the fact that it's implied that's not it? there's MORE?

Where's Nico fucking with EVPs and speaking through radios or static or TV. Throwing his voice. Nico remotely setting things on and off, or draining batteries, or making cell service fuzz out. Nico totally turning invisible (also a Hades' Helm of Darkness thing, so double reason for Nico to be able to do that). Where's Nico inflicting sleep paralysis. What did Yuna name Kraw?

I was keeping it all hush for a while but I honestly don’t know why anymore pfft

Kraw’s birthname is Soliah (Soul-eye-uh) which I kind of mashed together myself but it means “Lonely Moon”. Yuna would also call him ‘Kuu Soliah’ which was ‘my lonely moon’ which I kind of based off the Hawaiian word ‘ku’u’.

I am by no means a linguist and I don’t feel like I have the spoons to come up with an entire Primordial Beast language like ol’ Tolkien or whatever, but for now I like to think it’s derived from Yuna having her own words for things, taken from old languages and all that.

Anyway Kraw’s own birth name becomes part of his early memories that he buries pretty deep. Until the day comes where he’ll hear it again.

He ends up getting his new name from Lady :)

i guess i base it on this body that i'm piloting right now dying? i can't say i remember any past lives, and i'm not fully sure i believe in reincarnation, but i don't not believe in it. i would like to think we just keep coming back and going it again. i would like to think my handsome cat will have a chance at being human (and that i get to have a chance at being a cat.)
