something that has always struck me as funny is how (imo) fob light em up and patd miss jackson sound really really similar to each other. i remember playing srar and twtltrtd back to back often the year they both came out. the connection was made pretty quickly, from the key, to instrumentation choices, even down to both of those songs being 2nd on the track list in each respective album. same producer on both songs too. idk i’m not rly proving anything new, i just think it’s interesting lol

I decided to give the new P!ATD album a listen after my coworker said it was good in her opinion.

I love her but damn it's just not good. It feels over-produced and forced. Fr some of the choices across the whole album make me question the sanity of the team working with Brendan right now because it is seriously painful to listen to. Like the compositions are just... off.

Not sure how else to explain it, but it's safe to say I was right in waiting for the album to drop to see if I wanted tickets to my local show.

Now, that new Hollywood Undead album on the other hand... that's some good shit.

I don't mind the idea of Gerry listening to MCR persay but I don't like when people wrap his whole character around a headcanon unsupported by canon. Also Gerry doesn't give off huge MCR fan vibes. It could just be something he listens to occasionally. When he's deep in the feels tho I imagine he turns up the volume of something that would make my grandmother faint.

PSA: REGARDING VLV RELEASE

Hey everyone! Diamond Punk here! I wanted to give a PSA within the P!ATD fandom within Tumblr. It won’t too much of your time, I assure you.

Given the release of VLV, I wanted to remind everyone to please be respectful of those that enjoy the album and songs. I know that there’s been toxicity with the bandom since the accusations and the rise of people believing that Brendon made songs on said album to bash previous band mates (if you truly believe that; unfollow me. You’re not worth my time as you’re too busy giving hate towards Brendon for any reason you can grab your hands on) and use any reason to hate on him and his music.

In my personal opinion, I don’t believe it to ge true because if you do your research, you’d see that Brendon’s actually making a story within his songs (that also connects to his MVs) which refers to Maggie and whatever group she’s made. (I’ll speak more about that in another post)

Aside from that, it’s okay if you don’t like the new album or any of the songs. Your thoughts are valid but they don’t give you an excuse to be mean towards Brendon and those who DO like his songs. All that I am asking is for you guys to not be mean within the hashtags about the album or Brendon. Disagreement or constructive criticism is okay but if you’re hating on a song to hate Brendon, please keep the negativity to a minimum.

I know that there’s still a lot of people that hate Brendon for the fake accusations and honestly, if you don’t want to support him, that’s fine. Just don’t go spreading false info and overall negativity with the tags. (Ex: Claims of him, bashing on his bandmates, copycat accusations, and hating on him via songs from previous bandmates as evidence) There’s still people that still love and support him. We just want to have fun in the new era. Please respect that.

That being said, Keep the hashtags safe from as much toxicity as possible and to those that enjoy the new album and MV, WELCOME AND HAVE FUN GUYS!!!!

oh god she hoards CDs and vinyls a lot, it’s insane and she won’t ever stop because she loves having an actual physical copy of music instead of a digital one. metallica, nirvana, type o negative, deftones, kittie, fall out boy, p!atd . . pierce the veil, mother mother, and bring me the horizon would be a few rock/metal/alternative choices she has and then it goes into more . . poppy ?? artists like halsey, lana del rey, marina, grimes . . SZA, beyonce, the list kind of goes on. if freestyle cds were a thing ( idk if they are ) prim would GENUINELY have them, and she has a lot of spanish artists on CDs as well, but you generally get the gist of how her music taste is ( it’s a mess . . truly )

MOST USED PLAYLIST :

definitely her get ready playlist because she needs it to be hyped up enough to ACTUALLY get out of bed and be productive. taking a shower, cleaning her room, changing her clothes and doing her makeup to go out, she needs that playlist to continue going for HOURS because if it doesn’t, then she won’t do anything at all
