I saw someone describe him as someone who has invented the "Most Normal Guy" award and is trying his best to win it, and that description is very accurate. He has a magic lie detector bracelet. He shouts a lot to train his "chords of steel". Everyone thinks he's a teenager when he's actually 22. He punched Phoenix Wright in the face once. The detective on most of his cases throws her snacks at him. His best friend is a 15 year old who is actually his sister but neither of them know this. He has at least three backstories that don't TECHNICALLY contradict each other but you can tell they were all made up on the spot. After his three backstories he decided to become a lawyer for some reason. And despite it all, he's STILL the most normal person in the entire series. Nobody is doing it like him."

"marvin is an amazingly thought-out and well-rounded character and one of the best protagonists i have ever seen, in all seriousness. he is a gay man in the 80s who's left his wife and child to be with his boyfriend, but is greedy enough to insist everyone carries on with nothing, having him spend time with all of his "tight-knit family." in in trousers, we see why he is this way (pretty misogynist and overall just a selfish jerk), knowing his parents hardly took care of him and he was a confused 14-year-old that got used to unhealthy and very toxic habits to try and get what he wanted. still, he has an amazing growth after temporarily breaking up with his boyfriend and getting further away from his (re-married) wife and son, and then can have a genuine family where it's not all based around his necessities. he's an original and well-done character with on-point growth, and especially considering he is the protagonist."

"She's a little cat who likes to jump on powerlines, make bad jokes to random people on the street and howl with her friend because of a restaurant called "Donut Wolf". At one point she makes a drunken speech at a party, where she declares she's a "TOTAL TRASH MAMMAL" before throwing up everywhere. Depending on the routes you can take, she can get electrocuted by a car and see God, whack a broken boiler with a baseball bat because she gets impatient trying to fix it, have a knife fight with her best friend in the woods, build a robot, and more.
