Ok so I’m quite late to this party but lucky for me it’s still going and this CKT (Char Kwaoy Teow) @luluckt is nothing short of the best CKT I’ve eaten so far. The Jumbo Prawns definitely lived up to their description and then you add in all the sub notes like Chinese sausage, stir fried rice noodles, Pork lard pieces, egg and some bean shoots for some extra texture. I ordered mine medium Spice level and that was a Chilli kick worth having again. It all blends in together to make a symphony for your taste buds to dance to. Hokkien mee is one of Malaysia's signature chinese dish. Although you can find this in many places, not many does it well. This place is famous for their hokkien mee and they usually serve from evening onwards till late night. Before covid-19, it used to be crowded and even sometimes hard to get a table. Their hokkien mee is good, but i personally still prefer the Damansara uptown hokkien mee. I find Ahwa hokkien mee slightly drier for my taste, nevertheless its still a good Hokkien mee.
