Maler SEAK Claus Winkler: Ich male immer in unterschiedlichen Räumen. Da wo Ich zum malen sitze, oder stehe sind immer andere Bilder/ Gemälde welche danach weiter male, dadurch bin Ich visuell immer anders geprimed/ gesteuert bin. Da überall Bilder/ Gemälde alle von allen Seiten gemalt rumstehen welche Teil der Rotation sind habe Ich jedes mal bei malen, anders sitzen, umräumen, etc eine andere Stimmung. Mein malen, mein Schaffensprozess bleibt so interessant. Es ist ja unnatürlich sein ganzes Leben, arbeiten, und Freizeit immer nur in den selben Räumen zu verbringen. Ich bin ja früher zum malen viel gereist und habe viel draußen, und immer woanders gemalt. Mit Hörbüchern, YouTube Videos hören, Radio, unterschiedlicher Kleidungs, Tee Sorten, Teebechern schaffe Ich auch Variationen in meinen Stimmungen, bzw gedankliche Matrixen welche mich freudig jeden Tag ans malen bringen. Ich wiederhole mich oft bei malen. Teilweise mache Ich das weil Ich Verantwortung meinem Malstil, meiner Form/ Bildsprache/ Bildwelt habe. Teilweise weil Ich in meinen Modus drin bin, mir die Muse fehlt mögliche Inspiration zu Lasten von meinem flüssig vertrauten Malfluss/ Flow Erlebnis zuzulassen. So nach dem Motto Ich male lieber was vertrautes, bzw bin zu faul meinen repitativen Malrythmus zu unterbrechen um mal was neues auszuprobieren, bzw mit in mein Repertoire aufzunehmen, und damit zu spielen. Irgendwann kotzt es mich so an, und die Erkenntnis ist da Ich muss tiefer mit optimierten malen/ Ideen/ facettenreicher in das Bild eindringen, mich optimieren. Was mich erdet ist der Anspruch mich meine Malerei zu optimieren, die Qualität der Gemälde aus anderen Epochen. HANGING PAPER MAN AT DAWN is the piece that lives in my studio. I have tried putting him in storage a couple of times when I am making space for new work on the studio wall. But the image haunts my psyche, and he is out again, mentoring every new work. Conceptually and aesthetically he embodies the central melody of my creative endeavor here on this footprint of land. A psychic contraposto of rest and effort, frustration and determination, vulnerability and strength. A thing imagined striving to touch a thing solid and real. Jacob is wrestling with the divine on a much larger scale. Maler SEAK Claus Winkler: Ich sehe Verantwortung beim malen, all die Gemälde welche in meiner Rotation sind bis zum Meisterwerk fertig zu malen. Alle meine Gemälde sind von 2 bzw allen Seiten gemalt. Das hat sich Stückweise circa ab/ nach 2013 so ergeben. Die ersten Jahre wenn Ich mit Flüssiger Acyrl Farbe, oder matschiger Öl Farbe gemalt habe, habe Ich fast nur mit Fingern, oder zu Putztüchern geschnittener alter Unterwäsche, und T-Shirts gemalt welche Ich nicht mehr trage. Erst in den letzten circa 2 Jahren habe Ich richtig mit Pinsel angefangen zu malen. Ich wollte details, in die Details machen. Mittlerweile wird mir bewusst wieviel Arbeit mit bevorsteht bis Ich meine Gemälde/ Bilder auf ein Niveau gemalt habe, wo Sie meinen Ansprüchen genügen, bzw mich für einen kurzen Augenblick positiv überraschen. Meine knappe Freizeit besteht um das malen, aus Sport, Serien/ Filme auf dem IPhone gucken in der Badewanne/ dem Sessel oder auf der Couch, wandern, See oder im Kanal schwimmen, ab und zu mal Wein trinken, laufen. Bin gern in der Natur, in Museen (Freilicht, Historisch, Technik, Kunst). Ich räume fast nie auf, oder kümmere mich um irgendwas anderes als ums malen. Stoisch, Okstpreußisch stur, autistisch, Ignorant, nur Lebensmission: malen. Sonia Jia’s work is predicated on intimacy and vulnerability, drawing from personal experiences of childhood and sexual trauma.

Inherently otherworldly and undefinable, her paintings are often born from irrational moments—lost seconds spent dreaming, staring blankly, or even contemplating death. Born in Ukraine and raised in Hangzhou, China, Jia is currently based in London and has just graduated with an MA in painting from the Royal College of Art, though she works across painting and filmmaking.

Aleksandra Waliszewska was born in 1976 in Warsaw. Upon graduating the city’s Academy of Fine Arts, she quickly became one of the most recognized contemporary painters of the Polish new art scene. Her list of accomplishments contains more than 20 solo exhibitions, an Arco Madrid Grand Prix, the EXIT magazine award, the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage scholarships, cooperation with international artists and art groups, and a short movie inspired by her art.
