It was a dark night, price and you had been sent on a mission. Alone together.Enemies everywhere at every corner - you just needed the one guy but he was going to be hard to get.you needed info; info about some bombs halfway across the country but this was the only guy who knew anything - well the only guy you had known that knew something. Tiptoeing around the place as you were trying to not let anyone see you when price had told you to split up. he go left, you go right.

“price! Fucking listen to me!” you scream as price dodges your question yet again. The man sits still, ignoring your presence - almost as if you weren't even there. a small hum can be heard as price turns on his computer, him still acting as if you weren't ever there.

“john.” in a calmer tone as you sit down in front of him. “what do you want y/n.”

he finally glances at you, not for long until he swipes his eyes back at the computer screen - staring with his eyes filled with the brightness. The light seemed more shiny due to the dimly lit room. “what's wrong baby.” you blurt out reaching for his hand to hold but yet again he pulls away.

“nothing love.” a long sigh comes from the man who finally looks at you for more than a second, “y/n i just need you to leave right now.” he replies in a monotone voice. as if he doesn't care about you.

standing up and shuffling the chair back with you as you abruptly stand he grunts softly. “can you answer my question at least?”

he gives a small sigh once again, it seems like all he does Nowadays is sigh and grunt. letting out a small breath as he clicks something on his mouse - taking his damn time to answer you. “ask.” he commands, his eyes not leaving his computer screen yet again. This seemed like an endless cycle of him ignoring you and then blunt answers.

“Do you feel guilt?” price instantly scoffs as soon as you mutter out this pathetic question. to then he retorts. “guilt?” scoffing again to prove his point, “guilt from what exactly?”

you create a long silence as you think of a reply to him, then finally joining your words together you implored; “guilt about me.”

“Guilt about being the reason I'm not here?”

Price looks up to see you just to laugh at you but as you said, you werent.. there? he looks around - confused and worried at your disappearance. maybe you had just left the room… yeah that's the reason you had left.

stumbling out the room to see gaz hopping by his office, “gaz!” he yelled - grabbing gaz’s attention. he gives a quick nod at him, letting price know to continue,

“where- where'd y/n go? i was just speaking to them but… they left.”

gaz gave him a concerned look as he confessed, “y/n’s dead captain. they have been for months.”

Let There Be Light - Chapter Five

The air was still when you woke. You weren't on the plane anymore, but in a bed. Someone's bed. You slowly sit up and eye around the room. Blackout curtains covered the two windows to your right. There was a nightstand on each side of the queen bed. Straight ahead was a closet and to the left was a door that looked like it led to a bathroom. All the way over on the left wall was another door. You assumed this was the entry way into the bedroom. You swing your legs over the left of the bed and just sit there, listening. You could hear muffled chatter and laughter coming from the house. You assumed this was a two-story house and the party was downstairs.

You attempt to stand up and wince at the pain. Your thigh reminded you that you needed to pace yourself and take things slow. You drop your head and breathe in and out deeply. Your heart started to race when you heard footsteps coming towards the door. Your breathing hitched when you heard someone turn the handle and open the door up. It was Soap. Your anxiety was still on high alert considering you didn't know what their intentions were for you.

Soap must have seen the look on your face and slowly approached you. "Hey" he says calmly. He holds both of his hands up to show you that he means no harm. "I came up here to check on you. That was a nasty wound on your leg".

You scoff, "You can thank your buddy for that one".

Soap chuckles, "I do believe you started it first."

You roll your eyes. You didn't have the energy to argue. Soap reaches into his front pocket of his pants and pulls out this small black box. He opens it and pulls out a white pill. He reaches his hand out with the pill in hand in front of you. "Take this. It's an antibiotic to help you prevent any infections".

"What if you're trying to trick me and this is the magical pill that kills me?" you retort.

Soap let out a weak laugh, "Darling, I'm not the one you need to worry about killing you." You looked at him with a confused look while his hand is still outreached in front of you. You cautiously take the pill from him and hold it in your hand.

"I don't have anything to take this with" you tell him.

He reaches behind him and pulls out a water bottle. You assumed he had it stuffed in one of his back pockets. You take the water bottle and twist the top – making sure the seal breaks. Once you're sure this was a brand-new bottle, you put the pill in your mouth, take a swig of water, throw your head back and swallow the pill.

Soap watches you to make sure you take it. You even open your mouth wide and stick out your tongue to reassure him. "See" you say.

Soap laughs and reaches out his hand to you. "You hungry?" he asks. You hadn't even thought about food, but him mentioning it made your stomach rumble. You took the invitation, and he helped you out of the bedroom.

"Whose room am I in?" you ask him.

"Ghost's" he says with a smirk.

You felt like you were about to pass out. Your legs became weak, and Soap catches you.

"Hey, slow steps" he tells you.

You attempt to stand up and hold onto his right arm. You both make your way out of the bedroom and turn left. You go down this hallway and there are doors on each side of the hallway. At the end of the hallway, the layout opens up. The stairs are to the right, but you have to walk across this catwalk where you can overlook on either side to see the house below. The house was beautiful, and you were shocked that 141 lived in a place like this. The living room was huge and that was what the catwalk hung over.

"You okay?" Soap asks as you both get ready to go down the stairs.

You don't look at him, but you nod your head. One by one, you slowly make your way down the stairs. Your left arm still holding onto Soap and your right on firmly gripping the railing. The guys were still laughing and carrying on whenever you finally got to the bottom. It sounded like they were either watching TV or playing a video game. A lot of talking shit back and forth and joking around.

Everything went quiet whenever Soap cleared his throat to make his presence known. Everyone turned around and stared at you both.

"She has risen!" one of the guys on the couch said. They were definitely playing a video game cause this guy had a headset on his head. Whenever he said this, all of them held up their beers to what seems like to salute you. Everyone but Ghost. You caught his eyes, and he didn't deter from you. You swallowed hard and he narrowed his eyes at you. He took note of you and yet he was still wearing that damn mask. He was sitting in a chair with his legs spread wide.

Finally breaking eye contact, it had dawned on you that your clothes were baggy. You looked down and seen you were wearing a large black shirt that went down to your thighs and shorts. Wait, these weren't short, they were boxers. You also noticed that you were not wearing a bra either. You looked back up to the group of guys and all eyes were still on you. Your face flustered. Yes, you were petite, but you were blessed in the right areas.

You quickly cock your head to Soap and whisper, "Um, who's clothes do I have on?"

"Ghosts" he replies with that same smirk.

You froze. "Who um, who dressed me?" You hated to even ask this knowing that you probably already knew the answer. Soap's grin grew wider, and he replies "Ghost".

You swallow hard again, and your head turns back to Ghost. His eyes are still locked on to you. Luckily, everyone else went back to what they were doing before. Being boys.

Soap brings you back to reality whenever you feel him starting to walk. You are still holding onto his arm for support, and he leads you to the kitchen. Even though you didn't look at him again, you could tell that Ghost kept his eyes on you.

Your stomach started to cramp at the sight in front of you. You couldn't remember the last time that you had ate real food and everything not only looked delicious but smelled heavenly.

On the stove, there were Steaks, Baked Potatoes, Shrimp, Green Beans, Rolls and a yellow cake with chocolate icing. You almost wiped your mouth from salivating. Soap led you to the table and sat you down.

"Tell me what you want, and I'll fix your plate" he says.

Without skipping a beat, you reply "Everything".

He throws his head back and laughs, "The girl has an appetite. I like that. You will fit right in". He turns and heads toward the stove.

It took a second what he just said to process in your brain. "Fit in?" you throw back at him.

He grabs a plate and starts piling the delicious food onto it. Without missing a beat or turning around he answers you, "Yes ma'am. You don't really have many options. It's either become part of our team or we take turns torturing you until your body gives up".

You sit there stunned. You flutter your eyes as you fight back tears. You weren't going to cry anymore. You were tired of crying. You cleared your throat to speak. Before you could open your mouth, Soap was back over to you sitting your plate on the table in front of you. You look up at him and your attention was cut short whenever you seen Ghost approach, pull up a chair and sit down across from you.

You looked at him with wideset eyes and noticed that he had a folder in his hand. He sets it on the table and slides it to you. Out of reflex, you stop it before it reaches you. "What's this?" you ask.

"The reason why you are 141 now".

It would be fun they said. He's a good guy they said. Your friends had stated they had set you up on a blind date. Some guy your friend knows, apparently he's been liking this girl but he doesn't like him back bla bla bla. Some shite your friends talk. It all mushes together sometimes - the things spewing out of their mouths.

So here you are sitting patiently at your table. Table 11 is where your friends have told you to wait. Swooning your eyes around, flirting with the idea of just getting up and leaving, so fucking worried about who was going to walk through those doors and sit by you. You bet your friends had set you up with some absolute freaks. Your foot slammed against the floor as you looked through the menu for the restaurant. Your eyes swiping through the options - trying your hardest to distract yourself from who was gunna be your date.

Your foot taps against the hard floor as you hear the door fling open. Questions grow around your mind - pushing your thoughts and ideas together into a tight squish. A kind yet familiar voice, deep and loving almost, sounds from the entrance of the restaurant. You can slightly hear his words through his loud accent. '11' was a word he blurted out. Fuck he was your date. Eyes swatting to one side of the room to his almost blurred face to look back at your hands.

Soon, the sound of the same mystery man could be heard just across your table. "Hey, I guess you're my..." he trails off. You take a glance up to see it's your fucking captain. Captain Price was standing across your table - supposedly being your blind date. "Y/N? Are you uh the right person?”

You nod slightly in confirmation, feeling a bit confused and overwhelmed as Price sits opposite you. Your eyes rake over his shirt, large biseps poking out and a chised pecs beaming through his shirt. He slowly shuffles around in his chair, settling into a comfortable position as you retort, "I'm guessing."

While he takes the menu to scroll his eyes through it to pick out a meal, you take a chance to check him out - out of the uniform which is the only sight you have seen him in. You could tell he had tried to look nice - and ofc he did look nice. The man was wearing a crisp white linen shirt with two unbuttoned buttons at the top, and also had on a brown blazer that was draped over his broad shoulders. He paired the look with crisp black trousers that fit him perfectly, showing off his muscular legs.

The waiter scoots over as Price looks up at you and smiles sweetly, a genuine silly smile. The one he makes quite often that always makes you feel mushy and giggly inside. "I'll have the hm.. steak please." he kindly says to the waiter then looks over to you for your answer. After ordering your meal you and Price start to chit chat.

"so price-"

"john."

"john?"

"Yeh, call me John. Not price."

Awe how cute, well not really but it was odd calling your captain, who is on a date with you, his real name. John Price - it kinda like rings off your tongue. It fits him. Ofc it felt weird calling your date his last name but he was your boss so what were you meant to do? This was a confusing time. He didn't seem to mind, and you felt weird calling him anything else.

"so john," you slightly giggle at the voice you had just said his name in - as if john wasn't his real name. John chuckles at how daft you were and just happily glazes at you with his stupid grin plastered along his face, "was told you like some lass? " John blushes and looks away, trying to mask his embarrassment. You smile and chuckle again, knowing he's hiding something."Maddy told you?" nodding and giggleing at his embarrassment he scoffs slightly. As if mocking you - you can clearly see him fiddling with his hands above the table, obviously nervous and keeping something from you.

"well, I do, Maddy told me she would set me up to get over it." now you are wondering.. who is this lucky girl? Who is the girl who made price like them that much? It wouldn't be a very good first date if you chatted about who his secret little crush was the whole time so you decided to leave it.

"how's your steak?” you question as he tucks into his food while you do the same. The food was delicious but not as tasty as the sight in front of you - your captain in civilian clothes which highlights his juicy muscles as he chomps on his food. God he was kinda hot - you never really noticed him being this attractive. You had always seen him more as a serious father-boss figure, never as attractive, fit or anything around that!

Price starts telling you things he wouldn't really share, like his hobbies, family and past life as you do the same. This date was comforting. It was just plain sweet. It seems like Price really took an interest in you, well he did at work but it was almost like he was in love with you right now and right here.

After a while the date goes nice, the chemistry goes good and he invites you over to his place. Tasting his lips as he carefully pushes you to the sofa, getting on top of you and towering above your tiny body while he groans into your lips. It was like he was dreaming of this moment with the planned out moves and the small relief groans he murmured into your mouth as he gets rougher with his kisses. The kiss seemed scheduled as if he had thought about this multiple times before so you just had to ask.

In between the smoches you could finally breathe out ,” how..” you get cut off with another breathless kiss, smothering your words with his kisses. “how long have you been dreaming of this..” whispering and pushing John slightly off of you to be able to catch your breath.

"Too fucking long doll.”
