#legend of zelda #loz #twilight princess #loz tp #i'm still reeling that someone sent me an ask about this one.. that they took the time to find my tumblr and tell me they liked it #it really meant a lot; thank you to anyone that stops to leave comments like that. they make me happy #but yeah! here's the usual symbolism ramble: #i thought it'd be cool to have the 'spirits' flowing one way and the cats walking through them the other way #to kinda show the difference in life inhabiting the village in the past and present #link's face is covered because impaz was just waiting for 'the hero' so his clothes are what matters; not his face #and it (hopefully) gives a surreal and intangible sense to 'the hero' she could only hope would actually show up #you can feel free to interpret the glowy blue sheikah as ghosts or just as memories of the past! i couldn't decide either way #the one on the bottom left is oot impa since she's implied to be the village founder. so i guess she would be a ghost actually? #fan art #my art #project stuff #and ahhh the book-- everyone's stuff is so beautiful!! #especially the writing. some of the fics made me really tear up and some were so fun and clever. i really love them #a lot of them captured the sheer burden of the role of the sheikah; all of the time and grief and doubt #i know i always say this stuff about every project but. the people i get to work with in these are truly so skilled every time

I was working on a gif, when I had an idea of making it a longer animation (or maybe an animatic? I'm not quite sure on the terminology) based on a song. Because I don't own a touchscreen or an iPad, I'm working traditionally with pen and paper (I think I've shared storyboards before) and it's taking a while. I'm already very excited to show the finished project with you guys, might take a while though❤️

i've seen some real nice custom startpages for firefox (unix nerds will rice anything given the chance) and mostly they're incorporating shit like weather readouts, todo, live stats for homelab servers, and some shortcuts to particular config pages for said servers.

i don't much care for bloat (though the config shortcuts could be handy if you made a specific homelab browser profile), but there's one use i see for a startpage:

alternative search engines/databases/resources !

every so often i see posts circulating with links to academic journal databases, search engines for libraries, archives of books and software and media etc. and i just forget about them. every time. a startpage forces the question "so where should we look for X ?"

No worries, though. I've been getting back on the saddle with some other stuff, plus I plan on using this platform among other platforms as a place to share some things I've worked on - Doom mods, personal projects, etc. Expect to see some updates soonish.

#kingdom hearts #kh #ahh this one was so hard to draw; i never know how to combine a bunch of scenes in one picture without it looking cheesy #just threw a bunch of waves and leaves and birds on top and called it a day haha. it might be a bit too busy though #the white line going up the center is supposed to be a trail left behind by the gummi ship! it connects to the ship in the bg at the top #it's kinda meant to evoke little kids dreaming of other places-> getting older and earnestly making the raft to try to reach the dream #->the gummi ship as a premonition of how they'd actually reach the dream in the future. i guess? idk how to explain #and i really wanted to have kairi's expressions be really similar but changing subtly from wonder to worry when she's older #the boys are just max enthusiasm the whole time #but yeah. something something Symbolism and hopefully it's at least kinda pretty if it doesn't make sense #i'm just super proud to have been part of this project! everyone's work is just amazing #the destiny kids give me this soft feeling of kinda lonely nostalgia. it's nice to have a book full of that #very wistful looking through it #fan art #my art #project stuff
