So my dream would be to do animation next. But in the meantime when I work on that a reading of my fan fiction would be perfect as well. So I’ve picked out some people that I think would fit which character. Naturally I’d like the original voices of the original Inuyasha anime. Harumi surprisingly has 2 ladies that I have a hard time choosing because I love both of them. Kylie McNeill or Amanda lee. Kylie voices Suzu and Belle from Ryu to Sobakasu no hime. She really has the perfect voice I envision for Harumi. Not only that she has an amazing singing voice. Amanda lee also has the perfect voice for Harumi. She voiced a character from a visual novel called The Letter named Isabella Santos. She was really good in that one and by what I’ve read she’s also dubbed some actual anime already. She also is an amazing singer.🥰 it’s really hard to choose but I’d love either of them to voice Harumi since they both have the same perfect tone of voice I’d love for her. Angelina Jolie is one of my favorite actresses. I really like her tone of voice and I liked her when she voiced Tigress from Kung fu Panda. I would really like her to voice Demon Harumi. And lastly (for now) I’d like Evan Rachel Wood to voice Harumi’s mother Sakura. She did the voice of Anna and Elsa’s mother in Frozen 2 and she’d be perfect for Sakura.❤️ This would be a dream come true if I had this done.😍🥹 I might provide samples of thier voices but if not I recommend looking them up.😄

My darling Beth,
Here is another letter that will never be sent.
I have been allowed to spend my weekend with Mama. I slept over in her hotel room tonight and it was wonderful - I felt like a girl again, careless and loved.
I thought of sending you a letter from the hotel. Mrs. Wagner and the staff would not be able to intervene. Yet, Mama would ask me why I wasn't able to send it from the school… She would wonder why father has forbidden me to write… I don’t want to upset her just as much as I don’t want to risk your and your family’s reputation with an attempt to reach out.
Do you know what the worst part is? I’m not particularly worried that she finds out about me. Or us, even. I’m certain I’ll always have a place in her heart. I mostly don’t want her to know what father is doing to me. She is so excited, Beth, you should see it. I haven’t seen her thrilled about anything as much as she is with this wedding…
Perhaps she has faith that my marriage will be wholesome and loving, unlike hers. At this point, I just want to make her happy. And I wish - with all my heart and soul - that one day she truly is.

MARY: I missed this.
RACHEL: Missed what?
MARY: This! Just having quality time together, not talking about weddings and such.
RACHEL: Oh, my darling, so did I. Your absence at home never goes unnoticed…
RACHEL: I especially miss the afternoons where we would go on walks. Just you, Josie and I.
MARY: Not father?
RACHEL: Oh, y-yes, him too of course. But, well... He is often quarrelsome, is he not...? It's harmonious when the three of us are alone, even when you and Josie pester each other. <chuckles>
MARY: I agree and I prefer it that way, anyways. I wouldn’t mind it if it were only the three of us until the end of my days.
RACHEL: Don't be hateful, love… Perhaps one day the two of you will get along… You only bicker because you are equally hot headed.
MARY: Do not compare us! I won't bear it, I would rather perish!
RACHEL: <gasps> Must you be needlessly melodramatic?!
MARY: I must and I will. And you must love me regardless.
RACHEL: Oh! Golly, I almost forgot! Have I mentioned that the invitations are all sent?
MARY: Mama, I just mentioned I enjoyed not talking about weddings and what not...
RACHEL: I know... But this is the extra invitation you asked for. I'll leave it on the table, so remember to take it with you tomorrow, yes?
MARY: Alright, I will...
RACHEL: Are you certain that you will only invite one of the girls? That's quite impolite...
MARY: Odette is the only one out of those insufferable women that I'd wish to see there. Besides... It will be a small ceremony, won’t it? You said so yourself.
RACHEL: Oh my word, so be it… Just one more thing. About a month ago, I sent your father a draft of the engagement announcement. Now, this arrived today. It is how it will be published… Would you like to see it?
MARY: <sighs> Yes, I suppose....
***
MARY: <squeals> Mama, why did you choose this portrait?! It's from centuries ago, I look like an ill squirrel!
RACHEL: Goodness, don't be beastly!
MARY: But it's the truth! And this dress is completely outdated now! How could you do this to me?!
RACHEL: Stop this nonsense at once! Your vanity is abysmal sometimes, Mary, really....
MARY: Ugh, I just…
RACHEL: I’m sorry that you dislike it… If I had had more time to plan, I would have made it to your taste but... Oh... I had to write to your father telling him where to find the photograph at home. This was the only one that I remembered exactly where it was… And your father kept rushing me. There were telegrams often... You know how he gets. I didn’t know he would be so insistent and overbearing with these preparations and--
MARY: Oh, mama, it's quite alright... Forgive me. You did do a fine job, really! I'm... Very happy. Thank you.

Wow, what an amazing weekend! The Clubhouse is vacant at the moment while we all try to catch our breath, but we wanted to give our thanks to all who participated in Miss Fisher Con this year, whether in person at the Jefferson Hotel Richmond or virtually.
This con was truly a remarkable triumph of the Miss/Ms Fisher spirit!
The ACotA Board and local Richmond committee rallied to make all the moving parts fit together. Kudos to our Board: Jeneen Preciose, Sarah Wright Thompson, Zanna Gasque White, Kirsten Comandich, Mary Elizabeth Clements, Micaela Thomas, Cara Pettite, and Bianca McCarthy for their tireless leadership. And three cheers for our local committee: Mary Capule, Karen Clark Phelps, Barbara Kauffmann Angel, Sarah Bram, Rachel McNeill, Maranda Christian for being such gracious hosts.
Thanks to our Masquerade sponsor Poisoned Pen Press And finally tremendous thanks to Acorn TV for sponsoring our special screening of "Miss Fisher & The Crypt of Tears" at the The Byrd Theatre & Foundation, our golden swag bags, and providing all sorts of goodies and extras. We truly couldn't have done the con this year without you!
We were thrilled this year to have three celebrity interviews Roger Lanser, Geraldine Hakewill, and Izabella Yena. All were fascinating and generous with their time. And of course, much gratitude to Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries and Every Cloud Productions for cheering us on from Australia! Here are a smattering of photos from the weekend. More to come! Attendees, keep an eye on your inboxes for our post con survey! xoxo

3. arrange a field of flowers, what flowers are in it?
definitely carnations of various colors. reminds me of that time i visited my aunt in the hospital. daisies. tiger lilies. my grandpa used to grow tiger lilies.
9. what’s your favourite bubblegum flavour?
something like wintergreen or spearmint.
12. how would you describe your dream home?
I know I reblog fun houses relatively often on tumblr. but I don't know what my dream home would be in reality. Perhaps some log cabin in snowy woods. With a loft you need a ladder to climb to.
16. if you could time travel to any time in your life, where would you travel to?
I wouldn't want to.
17. what’s the meaning of your name? what’s the story behind it?
Mine means something like "joined together." It is Hebrew. A biblical name. Leah was not loved by her husband as much as he loved his other wife Rachel. When Leah had this particular child, she acclaimed, "Now my husband and I will be joined together." I feel for Leah because I too long to be joined together to a man.
22. what do you think heaven is like?
Every tear will be wiped away. Trouble will be no more. Each will be able to live with dignity. Heaven is present wherever God is. And we don't go to heaven, heaven comes to us. For now in the word and in the Lord's Supper and in baptism. And we will experience the goodness of the Lord.
23. what’s your favourite time of the day?
Around noon, when the sun is at its climax.
31. what’s the weather like where you are right now?
Mostly cloudy. We had a spot of rain earlier. Windy (normal in Wyoming). 59 degrees.

Okay, a warning in advance: Danny and Rachel are being back together. Well, this might be the point to stop watching and retreat to fan art, fanfic and vidding. I’m so done with this BS of a show. Thanks for ruining Danny’s character. Though I never was delusional enough to think McDanno might become canon, I think that’s not what he deserves. I bet at the end of the season Danny is send off into the sunset with Rachel and the Kids because Scott is done with the show once and for all...

Lady Chatterley's Diaries - The Apple Tree by Daniel Arrhakis (2023)
With the music : Apple Tree by Rachel Portman
youtu.be/dNUD67-yDSQ
A new series for 2023 " Lady Chatterley's Diaries " - A creative Victorian dreaming mystery series based in the art style of Gustav Klimt and James Abbott McNeill Whistler.
October has always been her favorite month with the colorful autumn leaves, the soft and delicate light that plays between the branches and caresses her face while with her eyes closed she smell that apple scent.
She herself had planted that apple tree in secret from her husband with the help of Mellors, her gardener. A lady didn't stir the earth with her own hands, he would have said right away with a tone of indignity and reproach.
Mellors knew well how she liked to smell the earth, the breeze in her loose hair, the tone of autumn on her skin but mainly that flavor of freshly picked apples, while their fingers intertwined.
That tree was her own mirror and her Apple Day celebration of life !

Home Is a Lonely, Wind-Lashed Isle
The Lost Lights of St Kilda by Elisabeth Gifford - 3 stars
I had no idea where we were headed, no idea what lay before us. All I knew was I was ready to travel the length and breadth of France if the world would give me one more chance to spend one more hour with you – to say I’m sorry.
In 1927, Cambridge student Fred ends up on the remote Scottish island of St Kilda to study the local rock formations and falls in love with Chrissie, a local woman. Thirteen years later, he is stranded in war-torn France and wondering how that summer romance long ago went so wrong…
I picked up this book because I was rather tired of the glut of World War Two narratives, generally about members of the French Resistance, and this promised something different. And indeed it delivered – most of the story is set on St Kilda, a remote Scottish island of which I had never heard before, but felt quite acquainted with by the time the book ended. The writing is lyrical and brought St Kilda with all its lush sea-swept beauty to vivid life. The parts which incorporate the history of the island were fascinating and really cemented how attached Chrissie was to her home. This made the ensuing evacuation quite emotional.
However, the plot felt somewhat thin. This is the story of how Fred and Chrissie fell in love, and what tore them apart, but we don’t see much of them falling in love and what tears them apart feels almost silly, unfortunately. I was also ambivalent on the character of Archie – I wish we got a better understanding of him, for while his actions are what drive the plot, his decisions seemingly come out of nowhere.
My copy of this book was an audiobook, narrated by Fiona McNeill, Geoffrey Newland, and Diane Brooks, who respectively voice Chrissie, Fred, and Rachel Anne, Chrissie’s daughter. The narration was done in Scottish accents, which for a hapless American like me took a little time to get used to! I thought the narration was well-done, though, and the narrators’ musical voices helped set the stage.
Overall, an interesting and emotional read for those interested in more obscure British historical settings.
Disclaimer: I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley. This is my honest and voluntary review.

♪ 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟖𝟗𝟖,
Mary had been in sort of a daze ever since she became engaged. The days flew by like wind, and the young woman was merely caught in the current, being swung around from chore to chore, appointment to appointment.
It was lonely at the School now as Odette had decided to become distant, and not having word from Bethany only made matters worse.
For that reason, there was some sort of comfort in having her mother with her in Germany, even though Mary knew her stay weren't for the best of reasons.
Her mama was oblivious to the whole situation - and she was to remain like that! That was the only thing Mary and her father agreed on. Yet, it was painful to see her mother in glee with the preparations for the wedding when it was something so overwhelming to the girl.
To worry about announcements, invitations, ceremony, food, schedules to the venue, and even her own body seemed utterly revolting when the only thing Mary was concerned about was if Beth was aware and accepting of the situation.
Whenever Mary's mental state wasn't as balanced as usual, it was normal for her to lack appetite. And a side of her secretly hoped she'd fall ill, as she usually did in childhood, forcing the ceremony to be postponed...
Ah, what a wicked thought, you silly woman...
Sometimes, Mary liked to pretend that she was getting married to her loved one - and that her mama was joyful for them. Yes, that would often bring a smile on her face. Even if it was a quick and faint one.
𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 | 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 | 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐩 | 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲
𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐭
RACHEL: This is so thrilling! I can't recall the last time I was this excited.
MARY: Goodness me, I can tell…
RACHEL: And can you blame me? Every mother's dream is to marry her daughter!
MARY: Oh, but calm yourself. We won't be fitting the final dress today.
RACHEL: It's special, nonetheless. -- My darling, aren't you excited ever so slightly? That is unlike you! I vividly remember you as a little girl telling everyone your biggest wish was to become a bride.
MARY: Do you, now? My, how odd. Because, as far as I know, I would constantly say that I wanted to be a professional fortune teller.
LITTLE MARY: Yes, I can see it. The first thing you'll do tomorrow is open your eyes, yes.
LITTLE BETHANY: <gasp> How do you know?!
MARY: Though, if that's how you'd like to look back at it, then who am I to end your party?
RACHEL: Come, now, don't be cheeky.
MRS. SCHÖNBORN: Shall we try the mock-up, Miss McNeill? -- Hmm… Forgive me, miss. I must have mis-measured the waist. Or, perhaps, you've lost some weight in a week…
MARY: Oh?
RACHEL: Golly! -- Well, you are looking rather… Bony… Are you lacking appetite, my sweet?
MARY: Mother, can we not talk about my body? Please? I'm fine.
RACHEL: Oh, I'm just concerned. It'd be nice if you were a bit thicker on your wedding day. So the Laurences can see that you are, you know... Fertile.
MARY: Oh my go-- <in German> Hi, yes, Miss Schönborn, I'd like to leave this conversation now. Help me.
MRS. SCHÖNBORN: <nervous giggles> Don't you worry, Miss McNeill. - This is not an issue, I'll make the adjustments but also leave some room in the waist, just in case.
RACHEL: Brilliant! And could we try some veils, at least?
MRS. SCHÖNBORN: Yes, Mrs. McNeill. I'll fetch some models right away.
RACHEL: I'll come along. I want to see what you have.
***
MARY: <sighs> Stupid dress...
