Sigma-38 is an assimilator unit out on her first raid. Her target: a young man deemed perfect for assimilation as an incubator.
The New Flesh is a gory, violent smut story for consumption only by adults over the age of 18 who are cool with dubcon, noncon, drugging, gore, light cannibalism, surgery, forcefem (kinda/sorta), brainwashing, weird gender shit, and probably a bunch of other stuff i forgot to mention
April 2
0313 Earth UTC
200 Million Kilometers beyond Jupiter
Sigma-38 fixed her vacuum helmet to her chassis. They were 2 minutes out from their target, a John Henry-class mining vessel, the Blair Mountain. The ship carried 2,000 metric tons of platinum-group metals, 20,000 tons of common ores, and 5,000 tons of water ice. None of that would be taken. When the Blair Mountain would be found, several months hence, her cargo would be entirely accounted for. What happened to her crew would be a mystery, the sort of thing that old astronauts talk about in hushed whispers at Jovian saloons.
The raiding party consisted of two K-class interdictor vessels, each containing 10 Gamma-type assault drones, 4 Mu-type engineers, and 1 Sigma-type assimilator. This was 38’s first raiding party, the drone was eager for the opportunity. Raids were one of the few times when command and control of the hive was allowed to devolve to individuals. Like water rushing in to a cave as the tide rises, the party would disperse into the target ship before washing its contents back out to the ocean of stars.
Nobody had to speak the 30-second warning. Logistic commanders were unnecessary for the hive. Antithetical to it, really. They would have a 15-minute window to subdue and extract the crew and whatever provisions they could before the Blair Mountain came out of a dead zone in the deep space network.
10 seconds. 38’s vessel, K-19, was aligning itself with the main crew hatch. The other interdictor, K-13, was covering the emergency hatch. 5 seconds. There was a soft thump through the floor of the cabin as K-19 achieved hard dock with the target. The airlock decompressed and the force field deactivated, allowing Mu units 76 and 45 to go to work wiring into the Blair Mountain’s airlock controls.
Zero.
The door opened, and the 15 drones of K-19 flooded into the airlock. The Mu units immediately set about bypassing the second door. 10 seconds later, the party was in. Sigma-38 pushed her way through. Screams erupted from the cramped quarters inside. Intelligence pegged the number of crew at 20. The hive had calculated a loss rate of 25% would still result in an acceptable gain, but a dead body was only good for its biomass, nothing more. Nonlethal weapons unless absolutely necessary.
38 followed the sound of screaming down the hall to her right, 4 Gammas behind her. 10 meters in, they came upon a small dormitory. She turned the handle on the door, feeling resistance as the 5 crew members behind the door pushed all their weight on it to try and keep it closed. 2 of the Gammas joined 38 and together they rammed the door down. Sigma-38 grabbed her first quarry of the raid. A young engineer’s mate, no older than 20. Tears filled his eyes as he begged, “Don’t kill me! Please! Don’t kill me, please!’
38 did not respond, only applied a shock from the stun rod embedded in her forearm. The engineer’s mate collapsed as 3 of his shipmates tried to knock her down. The assault drones pulled them off, applying their own stun rods to their prey. It was over in 20 seconds. One of the Gammas put magcuffs on the humans. 38 left the room and continued down the hall as a Mu used a gravcart to haul the humans back to the interdictor.
3 minutes had passed since the airlock was first breached. Mu-76 had patched the hive into the ship’s computer. 38 absorbed the data as she walked down the hall, zeroing in on the captain’s quarters.
The ship’s manifest listed the captain as Theresa “Terry” Holder, 37, a 10 year captain in the civil navy. A picture of the captain appeared in the corner of 38’s vision as she walked through the hall. Though she long ago gave up on being human, 38 still appreciated the form of them. The picture of Holder showed a strong-jawed woman with long brown hair and a swaggering smile, dressed in a grease-stained tank top. 38 felt her cock grow warm underneath the armor plating.
38 found the captain’s quarters, opening the door without hesitation, and was immediately met by the noise of a gunshot and a blast of kinetic energy as a .45 caliber round struck her left chest plate. She noted it, but felt no damage beyond the superficial. Four more quickly followed. Holder’s grouping was good. It would not save her.
Sigma-38 made eye contact with Captain Terry Holder as she approached. Something about her sent a thrill down 38’s spine. Holder’s gun jammed at the same time as a curious expression overtook her stubbled face. Not just fear. Confusion, maybe even a hint of recognition.
“What!?” She shrieked, as she frantically worked the pistol’s slide, trying to clear the jam, “You’re dead. You’re dead! You have to be dead! I shot you! I shot you and you’re dead!”
Sigma-38 grabbed the captain by the neck, lifting her half a meter into the air, and spoke, “Do not resist. You will become beautiful.” with a twitch of her wrist, a needle shot a sedative into the captain’s neck. This was the part 38 had been waiting for. The part where the prey knew it was beaten. that help would not come, that there was no more point in fighting. She locked eyes with the captain as the latter slipped out of consciousness. Though Holder could not see it, 38 was smiling
*****
All told, the raid, from infil to exfil, had taken 12 minutes. Only 2 of the crew of the Blair Mountain were lost. Their bodies were taken, their biomass useful for the synthesis of hormones, amino acids, and neurotransmitters. The other 18 would join the hive. They would be kept sedated until their assimilation began. It was a 4 day flight back to the hive’s nexus, and in that time 38 had planned to assimilate around half of the take.
The first, she decided, would be that engineer’s mate. One of the Gammas brought him to the assimilation chamber. 38 looked him over. Young, thin, around 19 or 20. No tattoos, sandy hair. She affixed a respirator mask to his face and, after checking that he was properly restrained, pressed a button on the stretcher to pull him out of sedation.
He stirred slowly, eyes bleary with drugs. So vulnerable, so innocent. 38 couldn’t wait to assimilate him.
“Where am I?” he said, “I...my name...my name is...Phillip Ellis...203243…”
“Your name,” Sigma said, “is of no concern to us.”
“Phillip Ellis, 2-oh-3, uhhhhh, 2-4-3”
“You have been selected to become an incubator for the hive.”
“What?” confusion crossed his face. Soon would come the fear.
“Your body will be modified and augmented to perform the function of incubator in the hive’s breeding chambers.”
“I...what?” The fear was starting to creep in. 38 had a choice now. She could administer the gas, which would clear away all that fear and doubt, or she could push him just a little further into terror. The choice was not difficult.
She waited for a few seconds and then said, “Do not be afraid,” It was too easy, really, “we will alter your body surgically and mechanically. Superfluous limbs and organs will be removed. You will be conscious during this process. You are afraid now, but you will enjoy it, soon.”
Phillip Ellis’s response was simply to begin screaming. A high pitched, entirely undignified wail of dread. With a smile, Sigma-38 turned on the gas.
Ellis could only scream for so long before his lungs ran out of air. When they did, he had no choice but to inhale. His body was operating on adrenaline, he couldn’t have held his breath if he’d wanted to. He took a deep breath, already preparing to scream again, but the gas worked quickly. Before he finished inhaling it had already worked its way into his brain. A powerful aphrodisiac, it would arouse him, making the next step much easier and faster.
38 felt her cock begin to swell, and said, “I am going to release the restraints on your ankles. I want you to lift your legs up in the air and present your ass to me.”
Ellis resisted, somewhat half-heartedly, “No, I...I don’t want to,” he said.
38 frowned. She dialed up the gas and again, said, “I am going to release the restraints on your ankles. Lift your legs up in the air and present your ass to me.”
“I…” Ellis trailed off. His pupils were dilated, his mouth hanging open, a wide, crazed grin on his face.
“If you will not comply,” said 38, “I will compel you.”
Her cock was aching now. She didn’t feel like waiting for him to lift up his legs. He was so blissed out anyway that he probably couldn’t do it on his own. She grabbed his ankles and lifted them over his head. She held them there with one arm, and with the other, she took her cock and pressed it up against his asshole. He provided no resistance, “oh,” he said, “That feels good,” he was smiling. 38 smiled, too.
Slowly, she began to slide in and out of him. His thin, pale body squirmed and bucked in time with hers. He was hairless except for his head and groin, his cock engorged. She felt his ass grip her cock, and began to fuck him faster. As his moans grew louder and louder, 38 felt herself approaching orgasm. To her, this was foreplay. What came next was the main event.
The first convulsion twitched behind her cock, another, seconds later. The pressure began to build. It would be soon now. She could feel the replicators in her prostate working overtime on their payload. Another pang, the pressure now sustained. Ellis’s moaning was joined by 38’s and she felt her eyes close and her cock grow hard before it finally let go. She felt the pump of her prostate and her balls as they shot 10ccs of assimilation nanites into Ellis’s ass.
Ellis moaned, then groaned, and finally started screaming. This part was always painful, but it would only last for a minute or so. The nanites in 38’s semen were already dispersing themselves through his bloodstream, turning his veins a dark grey, his skin pale as they worked their way through his capilaries. In 10 seconds they had found their way to his brain. There, they began working to redirect the pain signals from his body into the pleasure center, and soon his screams of agony had become cries of ecstasy as he felt his tissue being remodeled on a cellular level.
38 pulled her cock out of his ass, a few grey pearls of cum dripping onto the floor of the chamber. Idly, she touched her finger to the end of her cock and brought it to her mouth, licking her own nanites, a metallic rush on her tongue.
“Nooo,” came Ellis’s pathetic voice, “please don’t stop. I need more.”
“You will get more.”
Ellis smiled. Sigma-38 reached for her first tool, a long, curved knife.
The first thing to do would be to cut through the skin and muscle on all four limbs. The last ¼ by the torso would be allowed to remain. She pressed the knife to Ellis’s left bicep, and whispered in his ear, “are you ready, dear?”
“Yes, yes please!”
She plunged the knife into his arm, feeling it slip through the skin and muscle and thunk down onto the bone below. Ellis screamed from the pleasure of it. Sigma allowed herself to remember this feeling from before the hive. It was bliss. She felt her cooling pump speed up just thinking about it. But she had to focus on the task at hand.
The wound did not bleed much, the nanites already replicating, aiding in clotting and building contact points and hookups for later. Ellis would make an excellent Iota-type incubator.
Soon, 38 had carved away a 3-centimeter wide section of flesh around each cut point on Ellis’s femurs and humeri. She put the knife back in its slot on the wall and reached for a circular bonesaw. She held it to his left humerus, but did not turn it on yet. Instead, she reached down and gently stroked the exposed bone, feeling Ellis shudder under her touch, hearing him moan in pleasure. She looked at his cock and saw a drip of precum fall from it on to his taught, hairless stomach. Almost a pity he wouldn’t have it anymore within the hour. Almost.
She turned on the bonesaw and began removing the limb. Bone chips and marrow spattered on her face, she idly licked them away from her lips. The salty, copper taste drove her mad. She lived for this. It was her purpose.
The next step was to install the hookup sockets to his residual limbs. She touched the side of her head to take a lidar scan of each, before sending them to the replicator in the corner of the room. By the time she’d made her way over, four fresh limb sockets were waiting. She brought them back to her quarry and began fixing them to each limb in turn.
These would be hooked into the breeding chamber back at the nexus. They would carry everything this incubator would need to survive. Nutrition, water, power, networking.
“There,” she said to him, “Isn’t that so much better? Don’t you feel so much lighter? Freer?”
“I do, 38.” He used her designation. A good sign, this meant that the neural connection with the hive was already being established. Usually that took longer. Ellis would likely not reject the hive. That was always a concern. Incubators rarely experienced rejection, but fixing it was always a messy proposition that left the hive with a less-than-fully-functional drone.
“Do you know what’s next, Iota unit?” she asked him as she hooked his limb sockets into a temporary life-support machine
“I do not have access to that information at this time.”
38 smiled and said, “Next we install your chestplate unit, dear.”
She walked to there replicator and pulled out the unit. It resembled a mechanical simulacrum of human breasts in shape, although its function was quite different. This would be the Iota unit’s biomech support device. Hormone synthesizers, nutrition processors, oxygenation units, heat exchangers, blood filters, and an assortment of other devices were included.
Gently, lovingly, she lowered the device onto the Iota unit’s chest. Microhooks dug into his flesh, and he let out a moan of pleasure. Grey lines appeared under his skin as tubing and wiring melded itself with flesh and bone underneath.
She cupped his left breast with her hand, squeezing gently. The silicone skin gave little under her touch, but the Iota gasped and opened his eyes, fixing his gaze on her, before lying back and relaxing again.
It was time for the best part. “Dear,” 38 said, “after this next step you will become Iota-723. Do you know what the next step is?”
“The next step is…” the incubator was thinking, “You give me my womb and pussy, correct?”
“Very good! That’s right!” 38 was beaming ear to ear. 723 was doing very nicely already, and 38 was eager to feel as he felt during this part.
She took a scalpel in her hand, “Just so you know,” she said, “You won’t be able to talk out loud after this until the incubator hardware is installed,”
“That’s okay,” she heard, not out loud, but through the wire. This one was learning quickly.
“Alright” she thought back, “here it comes”
She pressed the scalpel into the soft flesh of his underbelly, just below his sternum. A bit of blood wept from the incision. She carved down and around the lower perimeter of his ribcage, down and around his abdomen to his pelvis, then across his belly, back up to the other side of his ribcage, and back up to the sternum again.
“38,” she heard, again through the wire, “I think I might cum.”
“You have to wait, not yet. Trust me.” she thought back.
Tenderly, she reached her fingers under the skin, and peeled it back, exposing the organs underneath. No longer were they the bright pinks and reds of a normal human’s. Grey filaments spiderwebbed across them, the nanites inside already processing them for use later.
38 went about removing 723’s intestines, stomach, liver, lungs, pancreas, kidneys, bladder, and spleen. Soon, all that was left in the hollow chest cavity was 723’s heart. It was beating fast. Though its owner was quite unperturbed by the situation, the heart itself seemed terrified. 38 once again allowed herself to remember her own assimilation.
Lying on the table, a strong feminine hand reaching inside her, up under her ribcage. Pleasure aching through every remaining fiber of her flesh. Her heart pounding as if trying to knock down the wall of some impregnable fortress. She let this memory swim to 723, letting it communicate through feeling rather than words what was to happen next.
38 reached into 723’s ribcage, and gently clasped his heart in her hand. She reached the other hand in, the one holding the scalpel, and quickly cut through the vessels and ligaments holding the heart in place. It kept beating as she slowly pulled it out and presented it to him.
But 723 didn’t see. He was screaming, or rather, trying to, the pleasure overtaking him. His eyes rolled back into his head and the muscles that remained in his body flexed rhythmically as he experience the most powerful orgasm of his life.
When 38 had been assimilated, her orgasm had lasted for 12 minutes and 22 seconds. She sat there, stroking 723’s short, sandy hair, for more than 15 minutes, until the last waves of ecstasy left him.
When he finally relaxed, 38 stood up and retrieved the incubator hardware from the replicator. The main part of it consisted of an expandable tank, for growing embryonic drones. Other equipment included amniotic filters, immune augmentation, and a vocal synthesizer that would hook up to the throat to allow the unit to speak normally.
She lowered the hardware into the cavity, easing the accessories under 723’s ribcage and attaching the mount to his lower spine. When she was finished, she gently caressed the small window of the tank. “You’re going to make us such beautiful drones, dear.”
“That is all I want,” said 723, out loud now, “to serve the hive.”
“Well,” 38 replied, “you’ll need a pussy to be a proper breeding device, won’t you?”
“Yes!” he cried, excitedly, “give me my pussy!”
38 went to work. She opened up his scrotum first, removing the testicles and gently placing them aside. The next step was to remove the erectile tissue from the penis. She took great care while doing this not to cut the nerve that ran to the head. Damaging that would mean there wasn’t anything left to make 723’s clitoris, which would be a shame not just for him, but for the entire hive. An incubator that could not feel pleasure was no incubator at all.
She pressed the now-inverted penile skin up into 723’s abdomen, and felt the incubator hardware grasp and attach to it. She opened a small tube in one of her fingers and injected pleasure nanites into the cavity. They would lubricate and protect the birth canal, as well as make it more sensitive for both 723 and 723’s end user.
38 took some nano-suture and sewed small details into the skin outside, she placed the clitoris under a nice little hood, sewed small wrinkles into 723’s new lips, and, rather tastefully she thought, bunched up the pussy lips so they were nice and plump.
“723, would you like to see your new pussy?”
“Yes! Yes I would!”
Rather than hold up a mirror, 38 simply showed 723 how his pussy looked through her eyes.
“Oh god, it’s so cute!” he said, “I can’t wait to use it.”
38 smiled, “All in time. For now, you need rest.”
“Understood,” 723 said. He closed his eyes and slept while the nanites in his body finished up the finer details of installation.
Sigma-38 picked Iota-723 up, and carried him to the adjacent conditioning chamber. Gently, she hooked him into a wall mount, before turning and making her way to preprocessing.
723’s assimilation had taken only an hour. Incubators usually took less time than full drones, though. 38 stepped into preprocessing, and looked over the remaining 16 humans, (Sigma-47 was working on assimilating another) held by mag restraints on vertical beds. Her gaze fell on the captain.
Terry Holder’s sedation was just now wearing off, as 38 had planned. Groggily, the captain opened her eyes and fixed her gaze on 38. She struggled, ineffectually. The drugs were still in her system, still keeping her slow and weak. There was that look of confusion again, from her quarters, and recognition. Her eyes grew wide as it dawned on her, and she said, “Jenna? You’re alive?”
“Hello Terry,” said Sigma-38, “The Jenna you knew is long, long gone.”

CHAPTER ONE
Don’t forget to call me when you make it there safe!”
My mom yelled out at me as I scrambled to the door in a rush. A bag was on my shoulder full of hidden alcohol I had wrapped inside of towels, along with some snacks. I was currently on the way to see the pogues, unknowing to my mother who thought I was visiting the Cameron’s with baked goods.
I had lived in the Outerbanks for only a few weeks and the slang I had accumulated from hanging around the island still felt alien to me. My mother was a Interior Designer for one of the biggest home renovating shows in America, so moving around was nothing out of the ordinary for me. We had traveled from California to Ohio and my mothers next big project was none other then the North Carolina coast.
I had only met few people in my time on the island. On the second night of my stay I was greeted by a blonde girl who I soon placed as Sarah Cameron. The resident princess of the island; at least thats what I picked up on from listening to the Pogues. She was kind to me, it was a short exchange at the market. She recognized me as someone who wasn’t local and told me to text her if I ever needed help finding my way around the Outerbanks. We exchanged numbers and she left in a car of others in a rush.
Bringing me to my very first group of people I met on the island. My new house was in a place called Figure 8 and my next door neighbor was Kiera Carrera. One day while I was moving boxes into my house, I looked back and saw a Kiera on her porch she was in some sort of argument with her parents. I didn’t mean to eavesdrop but their voices were anything but quiet. She was in a fight with her parents as she made her way down the steps. They shouted words that I didn’t understand at the time like “pogues” and “kooks” and “midsummars”.
All I knew was that I had been through what she had and I wanted to tell her it was going to be okay. Although it was none of my business, I waited for her parents to go inside as I placed the box of antiques down and made my way to the curb she sat on. I spoke to her about my parents divorce and I told her that it was okay to feel the way she was feeling. Our exchange led to her inviting me to her friend John Bs house. I don’t know why they added the B in John but I didn’t bother to ask. I met John B, and two other guys at his house. It gave me a close feel to a cabin with a tropic twist if that makes sense. John B was genuine, he told me stories of his father and welcomed me into his home with his arms open. On the other hand JJ was skeptical at first taking a minute to warm up to me because of the place where my home resided. He explained to me how the Kooks were selfish, rich people and the Pogues were the ones always ready for a good time on the island. He was fairly good looking but I shook away that thought because I could feel tension between him and Kiera. He then offered me a drink and told a few jokes that made me ugly laugh. Pope was the last boy I was acquainted with, he struck me as intelligent and determined. He seemed more worried of what I thought of them, telling JJ to calm down at times and asking Kiera questions about me. Overall the group and I had a good time and I left a good enough impression to be invited back.
Which leads me back to where I was headed. Kie invited me to a giant get together, they called it a Kegger which was just a party in Pogue language. I hopped inside my car and made my way to the beach, looking for a spot that others hadn’t found out about yet and parking. Shutting my car door and hitting the locks, I slung my backpack around me and followed the crowd. Which would’ve been the only way I knew where I was going if it wasn’t for the massive bonfire that was radiating smoke. I walked down to the secluded area and around the corner of a building saw hundreds and hundreds of people.
this has to be half of the town.
Quickly my anxiety began to creep up inside of me. As strange as it sounded because I moved all the time, I was very nervous around new people. Taking my shoes off of my newly tanned feet I stepped into the sand. I searched the beach squinting looking for the familiar faces of John B or Kiera but I was out of luck. I excused my way through strangers hoping I would run into one of the four Pogues. Digging my fingers into my hands and tugging at my backpack, I began to grow impatient.
Suddenly interrupting me from my intruding thoughts was a warm substance seeping down my white top. My eyes were met with a tall boy, who’s shoulders were broad and hair was slicked back. He held a bottle of beer in his hand as his blue eyes were set on my top.
“Oh no, I’m so sorry!”
I blurted out, it was my fault he had spilt his drink after all. I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going causing me to ram into the guy.
“I should be the one apologizing, here come with me my sister probably has a extra shirt.”
He then proceeded to grabbing my hand and pulling me through the crowd of guests.
This guy was really hot if I had to admit, his collared polo complimented his body and his hands were filled with veins. Not to mention he had on a ring, A RING! I normally didn’t try to involve myself with boys because of how much I moved around. Having to leave the last boyfriend I had behind was gut wrenching, but… I could make an exception. It had been forever since I had been with any guy and I was craving something a little more than holding hands.
As we pushed past the final few people we stopped around and empty area. The boy looked off into the distance at a girl on top of some sort of wooden post and a blonde guy struggling to get her to come down. In fact, I knew that girl. It was-
“Sarah! Come here!”
I was startled by the loud outburst beside me. Sarah was his sister… That must’ve meant he was Rafe. Dammit.
flashback
“Every Kook is BAD, now repeat after me”
JJ had a very strong opinion about the richer class, I wonder what the reason was. What about Sarah Cameron, she seemed sweet.
“I met this girl named Sarah the other day, she was actually really welcoming.”
“Sarah CAMERON?”
Kiera blurted in sort of a grimace. She didn’t seem to be too fond of her.
“Sarah Cameron is the epitome of a snobby, entitled little brat. She always gets whatever she wants and doesn’t care about anyone other then herself.”
Kiera seemed to share a popular opinion amongst the Pogues based on their reaction to her outburst. They all nodded their heads in unison.
“Don’t even get me started on her brother Rafe! He is even worse, he treats the Pogues like shit and gets away with it every single time because he goes crying to his daddy.”
Her opinions on the two struck me as cruel. I didn’t know the two so clearly I couldn’t just defend them but, I didn’t like the way the Pogues spoke so poorly of the Kooks. It seemed wrong. Especially because when I met Sarah she was anything but a “brat”.
“Just don’t get involved with them. For your own good.”
JJ said, I could tell he was amused with making fun of the Cameron siblings. John B looked at my face and could tell something was off.
“Alright, Alright, I think you guys are started to scare the girl. Let’s go check out the waves.”
end of flashback
Sarah jumped off the pole without any regrets swinging around in what I assumed to be her boyfriends arms and making her way over to the two of us.
“Yes Rafe. What is so important that-“
Her gaze met mine.
“Alexis!”
She pulled me in for a hug quickly, my nose whiffing the smell of alcohol on her. Or on me.
“Hey Sarah”
“What happened!”
She exclaimed looking down at my shirt that was stuck to my skin.
“It was an accident,”
Rafe butted in.
“Rafe.”
She drug out in anger.
“We haven’t even met the girl for more than a second and you already have spilt your drink on her. Typical.”
I looked over at Rafe in pity for a split second but then I remembered this was a sibling thing to do. It was normal for brothers and sisters to argue, I didn’t know much about it because I was an only child.
“Shut up Sarah”
“It was my fault honestly, I wasn’t watching where I was walking.”
I nervously broke the tension. They both looked at me for a split second and then the silence was stopped by Sarah taking her shirt off. I was surprised by the Cameron girls boldness.
“Chill out girl, I’ve got a swimsuit and from the looks of it you don’t plus since Rafe did this too you he can kindly take you to his car so you can change.”
Sarah tossed me the top and ran for the water waving a goodbye with a warm smile. She was gorgeous, and she made me feel good. The Pogues seemed closed minded, and my views on things were beginning to shift since they were no where in sight, even though they said they were going to meet me here. Adding onto my perspective was the fact that Sarah and Rafe were there.
“She’s a handful. I’m Rafe by the way, which you probably gathered.”
His eyes were a little red, he must have been smoking. His voice seemed a little droopy but it was still sexy. My feet followed the direction of his as I held the shirt in my hand.
“Nice to meet you, Rafe. I’m Alexis.”
My voice was a bit shaky but confident. I liked to sound confident when I met others even though I wasn’t. We shortly arrived at his jeep, and he unlocked the doors.
“Can I put this bag down somewhere?”
I said picking the heavy weight off of my shoulder.
“Yeah, here let me see it.”
I rubbed my sore skin as he grabbed the bag and sat it in the trunk.
“Beer in the towels, huh?”
I looked back at him.
“Hey, who said you could be nosy?”
I playfully smiled at him.
“No one, but I was just curious what you were carrying around, I mean for all I know it could’ve been drugs.”
“You probably would’ve been happier with that outcome, huh?”
He laughed. His laugh. Holy shit his laugh. It was so hot.
“Can you grab me a drink?, I need one”
I asked desperately.
“If I can snatch one too then deal”
I nodded at his remark and hopped inside of his car grabbing the drink from his hand. I sat the drink in a cup holder as I took my soaked shirt off. I sat it to the side and then looked at my bra.
“Shit”
It was soaked too, I took it off as well praying it wasn’t getting any colder tonight as I slipped on the yellow tank top Sarah gave me.
I grabbed my drink, took a swig and opened the car door. I looked out and Rafe was already crushing his can sitting on the hood of the car.
“Want another?”
I offered reaching in my bag and extending my hand. He turned his head and looked at me for a few seconds. My hand waiting for release from the beverage but it never came. Then I realized why as I looked down at my shirt. You could see through. Before I looked back up he grabbed the drink clearly as embarrassed as I was.
“Yeah uh sorry”
His hand scratching the back of his neck as he opened the can. I brushed off the exchange and got up on the hood of his car with him looking at the party from afar taking another sip.
“So, you’re new ay?”
Rafe said.
“Yeah, I just moved here a couple of weeks ago.”
He wasn’t making eye contact with me and neither was I. It wasn’t uncomfortable though. The scenery was calm. The stars looked perfect and the sound of the faded party and waves were in perfect harmony.
“Who invited you here?”
“Just some people I met, they told me they would meet me but didn’t follow through.”
“Screw them. You should come hang out with us.”
His invite made me feel warm. I looked over at him taking a sip of the drink, I watched as it gilded down his throat. His adam’s apple bobbing. He was a masterpiece. I must’ve been looking a little too long because he whipped his head around at me. I quickly averted my gaze away embarrassed.
“Yeah I will definitely take you up on that offer, I can’t stand unreliable people.”
We were close. His hand smoothed it way to my knee. Yes please.
“Neither can I, good thing we are reliable. Even got you a new shirt.”
He stared back down as he made this statement clearly looking at my boobs. Quite frankly I was flattered.
“Eyes are up here buddy boy”
I cringed at my own words but being a couple of drinks in at this point I didn’t care.
“I know”
He said. His hand slid a little further up my leg placing on my thigh. Higher. and higher.
“You have a boyfriend?”
He asked, I laughed at this. Hard. My laugh was one of those laughs that sounded so stupid other people would laugh at it. So as I kept laughing he began to laugh as well.
“w-what”
His high was probably making my laugh sound even more strange then it already was.
“Nothing just that question is funny.”
BOOM
Both of us flinched as we looked away from eachother. That was a gun shot. I frantically got up.
“What the fuck, we need to get out of here”
Rafe yelled. I looked at him in a panic.
“What about Sarah!”
I shouted back.
“We will grab her in the car, now get in.”
The Pogues were still down there. I looked at Rafe as he sat in the car and looked down at all the people running away from the scene. I had to make a decision quickly.

facts about John Madden that you probably didn't know about the Hall of Fame coach and broadcaster
John Madden was lifted aloft by his team after the Raiders won their first Super Bowl on January 9, 1977. And, despite reaching the pinnacle of his profession at the age of 40, Madden was still in the early stages of an unrivalled football career that encompassed ten years as an NFL head coach and another 30 years in broadcasting. Madden is also the creator of the most recognisable football video game of all time. Madden was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006, when he was 85 years old. Madden advised the NFL's competition committee and safety panel after retiring from broadcasting. With a new documentary on Madden's career scheduled to premiere on Christmas Day, here are five facts about the great coach and the voice of NFL Sundays for a generation of football fans.

Career-ending injury a blessing in disguise Madden's NFL career ended almost as fast as it started, when the Philadelphia Eagles selected him 244th overall in the 1958 draught. During his rookie training camp, he had a knee injury. Madden opted to spend his leisure time reviewing video with quarterback Norm Van Brocklin, who was on the back nine of a Hall of Fame career, while he was recovering. "He used to nickname me Red," Madden recounted. "'Hey Red, come on up here with me,' he urged. Because I'm the only one present, he's speaking loudly. It was the best schooling I've ever had, Norm Van Brocklin." Madden officially entered the coaching ranks two years after being picked by the Eagles. He spent four years as the defensive coordinator at Allan Hancock College in California before moving on to San Diego State. Al Davis hired Madden as the Raiders' defensive coordinator in 1967. At the conclusion of the season, Madden faced up against his coaching hero, Vince Lombardi, who was coaching his last game as head coach of the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl II. Davis stunned many when he hired Madden, then 32, as his new head coach two years later. Davis hired Madden when Chuck Noll, who had just led the Colts to the Super Bowl as defensive coordinator, took the head coaching job in Pittsburgh. more about Madden : NFL rookies disappointed by ‘Madden 22’ ratings  Coaching buddy for life Happy 85th birthday, John Madden. Most people think of John as a coach and Madden game-maker but he was quite an athlete, too. He went to Oregon on scolarship in 1954 to play with childhood friend John Robinson. He won. pic.twitter.com/8WamWiNFW6 — Gil Brandt (@Gil_Brandt) April 10, 2021 Madden was born in Minnesota but spent much of his youth in Daly City, California. John Robinson, the former coach of USC and the Los Angeles Rams, was his greatest boyhood buddy. Both Madden and Robinson attended Oregon on football scholarships. While Robinson was a four-year starter for the Ducks, Madden went to Cal Poly and became an all-conference offensive lineman. He also caught for the school's baseball team. "We were going to play for the Yankees in the summer and the 49ers in the winter," Robinson remarked, recalling his and Madden's youthful ambitions. "We realised that maybe this fantastic career wasn't going to materialise." While neither Madden nor Robinson were big names as players, they were two of the finest coaches of their day. In 1976, Madden became the sixth coach in NFL history to win the Super Bowl. As a collegiate coach, Robinson has an 8-1 bowl record, including a 4-0 record in Rose Bowl games. In 1985 and 1989, he guided the Rams to NFC Championship Game appearances. Robinson's first Rose Bowl victory came only one week before Madden's first Super Bowl victory in the same venue. Madden took the Raiders to the playoffs eight times in his ten seasons as head coach. Under Madden, the Raiders competed in seven AFC championship games, including five consecutive from 1973 to 1977. And, after falling short in his first five AFC championship games, Madden and the Raiders ultimately won it all in 1976. Following a 13-1 regular season, the Raiders dethroned the Steelers, who had beaten Oakland in the previous two AFC championship games, to earn their first trip to the Super Bowl. The Raiders destroyed the Vikings in Super Bowl XI thanks to a brutal rushing offence and an equally destructive defence. Fred Biletnikoff, who set up three of the Raiders' four offensive touchdowns, was named MVP of the game. The Raiders triumphed 32-14, giving Madden and the Raiders their first championship. "They will never be able to take that away from you," Madden remarked of his Super Bowl victory. "Perhaps the fact that we pursued it for so long made it seem greater to us. It was the most wonderful sensation in the world. Nothing can compete with it." While the Super Bowl was the most famous game, Madden was a part of numerous other memorable games during his stint on the sidelines. The "Immaculate Reception," "The Sea of Hands," "Holly Roller," and "Ghost to the Post" are among these games. G.O.A.T. meets G.O.A.T. The famed pairing John Madden and Pat Summerall's farewell Super Bowl broadcast coincided with Tom Brady's first of seven Super Bowl victories. Brady led the Patriots to one of the biggest Super Bowl shocks in history, defeating the much fancied Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI, with Summerall and Madden providing the background. Madden and Summerall combined to work eight Super Bowls (five on CBS), the most ever for a broadcast team. While their streak concluded with the "G.O.A.T.," it started with Joe Montana's (Brady's boyhood hero) first Super Bowl victory: the 49ers' 26-21 victory against the Bengals in Super Bowl XVI. Madden remarked of his longtime broadcast colleague, "He was John Wayne and Walter Cronkite." "He had the ability to keep things on a level keel. Pat could sum it up in three words if I went off on a tangent. 'That's what I was trying to communicate,' I'd think." Madden won 16 Emmy Awards for his colourful commentary, as well as the NSAA National Sportscaster of the Year award in 1994 and the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award in 2002. Madden's 'Cruiser' was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Due to his reluctance to flying, Madden spent the most of his broadcasting career taking the bus to NFL games. In 1987, a Greyhound bus was transformed into the "Madden Cruiser." The original "Madden Cruiser" was presented to the Hall of Fame in 2018, where it was restored to its original state. Two colour TVs, a telephone and intercommunications system, a citizens band radio, two laser disc players, a built-in vacuum cleaner, a sound system, and a VHS player are all included in the original "Madden Cruiser." A private bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette with a microwave oven are all included aboard the bus.

In an interview for a TV documentary, Bill Belichick expresses admiration for John Madden.
In an interview for a TV documentary, Bill Belichick expresses admiration for John Madden.
John Madden was a familiar face in the NFL for a long time. He was, in many respects, the voice of football. He was a Sunday mainstay in American families for three decades, a figure with various sponsorships who donated his name and picture to the world's largest football computer game. Madden, on the other hand, has kept out of the limelight in recent years. The fact that he was included in a video that ran before to the Patriots-Falcons game on Thursday night was entertaining. The movie started with an old interview with Bill Belichick, who was sitting with Madden before Super Bowl XXXVI. In the years after the interview, Madden has pondered on it, remarking that he understood how sophisticated Belichick's football knowledge has become in the years since. "You know how you think you know something until you meet someone who really understands it, and then you realise you don't?" Madden explains. "Bill Belichick has a history with it. He was so far ahead of me, I mean. I discovered that I don't know nearly as much as I formerly believed." Belichick recalled a day when he was an assistant coach with the Broncos, who were playing Madden's Raiders, and reminisced on that day. "First and foremost, you don't mistake John for anybody else when you look at him," Belichick remarked. "From the front, the side, and the rear, you can see this person a mile away." He just had a one-of-a-kind profile. He also constantly wore his obnoxious sideline pass. The thing was continually blowing up, and it was all over the place." Madden laughed at the sideline pass statement. “John was on top of the game. Not really any weaknesses.” Legendary coaches John Madden and Bill Belichick talk about the mutual respect they have for each other in this exclusive preview moment from ‘ALL MADDEN’, the new original documentary premiering Christmas Day on FOX. pic.twitter.com/NvC0kLurLr — FOX Sports: NFL (@NFLonFOX) November 19, 2021 Belichick then read aloud a quotation from John Madden, who said that coaching helps players to go from "being excellent at recess" to "genius." The film was created as part of a Christmas marketing for an All Madden show. However, just seeing Belichick's gratitude and adoration for one of the NFL's greatest icons was worth it.
How much money does John Madden have?

John Madden what net worth Boom! With a net worth of $200 million, John Madden is a renowned NFL player, sportscaster, and entrepreneur. Despite having a great career as a coach in the NFL, John Madden is arguably best remembered today for his exploits after his playing days were over. He rose to prominence as an NFL analyst and eventually sponsored one of the most popular video game series of all time, Madden NFL. John Madden is also a well-known writer who often appears in advertising for a variety of products. The "Madden" video game is responsible for the majority of Madden's current income. There's a lot more on this agreement at the bottom of the post... Early Years John Madden was born in Austin, Minnesota, on April 10th, 1936. His father relocated the family to California in order to explore employment prospects as an auto mechanic. John was still a child at the time, having spent the most of his childhood in a little village south of San Francisco. He went to Jefferson High School after enrolling in a Catholic school. John Madden swiftly rose through the ranks of the football squad throughout his high school years. John was a gifted and dynamic young athlete who excelled on both the offensive and defensive lines. He was also an accomplished baseball player. Football in College When John Madden graduated from high school in 1954, he immediately enrolled in the College of San Mateo to play football. He transferred to the University of Oregon to study pre-law and play football after one season. Madden's playing career was halted by the first of two significant injuries he suffered while at Oregon. He had to sit out much of the season due to a knee procedure. John Madden returned to San Mateo after recovering from his initial injury and played another season of football. He then transferred to California Polytechnic State University, where he was a member of the Mustangs' offence and defence. Madden established his value as a football player once again, this time establishing himself as a powerful offensive lineman and earning all-conference accolades. While getting his BS in Education, he also played catcher for the collegiate baseball team. He went on to receive his MA in Education in 1961. Football on a Professional Level Although John Madden did play professional football at one time, his career was effectively finished before it started. Madden was picked in the 21st round of the 1958 NFL draught by the Philadelphia Eagles, and it seemed for a while that he would be playing in the league. During his first training camp, however, calamity struck. He experienced a career-ending knee injury (not the one that had previously been hurt), and that was the end of it. Coaching as a profession John Madden acquired his teaching degrees in college while recuperating from a knee ailment. He was also meeting with Norm Van Brocklin, whose career was winding down at the moment. The former quarterback demonstrated Madden video games and explained what was going on in each play. Madden's teaching credentials began to blend with his football expertise as he learned more about teaching. A career as a coach was a foregone conclusion. Madden was working as an assistant coach at Allan Hancock College by 1960. He became the head coach two years later. He was subsequently employed as an assistant defensive coach at San Diego State until 1966, when the squad was regarded among the best in the country. During this time, he worked under Don Coryell, a skilled tactician who Madden subsequently credited with his success as an NFL coach. The Oakland Raiders signed John Madden as their linebacker coach in 1967. Madden learnt from Al Davis, who had learned from Sid Gillman before him. Madden was so inadvertently adopting strategies from a guy who transformed professional football. By 1969, Davis had departed the club, leaving Madden, who was just 32 years old at the time, to take over as coach. As a result, John Madden became the NFL's youngest head coach at the time. more from new 24 hour  A $92 million settlement has been suggested in the TikTok class action. curly maple stock and barrel support brass butt plate, trigger guard, accents to ram rod holder, muzzle and hinged load cover on stock; silver thumb plate at top, front of cheek plate; incised and carved scroll work on stock; single trigger; .45 cal. Arms and Armor-Firearm "Kentucky rifles" of the late-18th and early-19th centuries were primarily made in Pennsylvania, receiving their nickname from the song "The Battle of New Orleans" during the War of 1812: "But Jackson he was wide awake, and wasn't scar'd of trifles, for well he knew what aim we take, with our Kentucky Rifles." John Bonewitz, who worked in Berks County, Pennsylvania, was one of the finest craftsmen of this type of rifle. His firearms are prized for their elegant proportions, beautifully carved leaves and scrolls, and engraved brass patch boxes and butt plates. Compare the carving and patch box design of this piece to those of the Dickert rifle from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, also in this case. Size: 8 3/8 x 2 1/4 x 6 1/4 in. (21.3 x 5.7 x 15.9 cm) (a) - (rifle) 45 5/8 x 3/8 in. (115.89 x 0.95 cm) (b) - (ramrod) Medium: Iron, maple, brass, silver

Listen to 4 tracks from the original soundtrack album ‘Take A Girl Like You’ (Pye Records, NSPL 18353, Stereo, UK, 1970)
This is not a record to get too excited about. Having said that, and in the knowledge that countless 1960s soundtrack albums promise more than they deliver, this one has enough to keep one interested if a bit of male scat, light Latin moods, flutes and a jazz waltz get you going. It also contains a smattering of poppy vocal  beat numbers written and sung by one Ram John Holder, singer-cum-actor, who is now best remembered for playing the character Augustus "Porkpie" Grant in Channel 4′s early 1990s barbershop sitcom ‘Desmond’s’, set in Peckham, South East London. Much of the music is composed by Stanley Myers, writer of groovy 60s film scores ‘Kaleidoscope’ and the oddball ‘Otley’, as well the more well known guitar piece ‘Cavatina’, which began life in the 1970 movie ‘Walking Stick’ before being cemented in the collective consciousness by its re-purposing as the main theme for ‘The Deer Hunter’ in 1978. He is also credited with being an influence on, and mentor to, Hans Zimmer, so now you know who to blame.
The film itself appears to be yet another swingin’ 60s look at sexual morality, permissiveness and gender politics (check out the trailer). Based on a 1960 novel by Kingsley Amis, it may well have been a fresh topic at the time, but nearly a decade later, even in the eyes and words of its director Jonathan Miller, the story was “old fashioned”. It flopped with critics and box office alike despite a script by jazz singer George Melly, and our favourite drunken boor Oliver Reed starring as Patrick Standish- a man in a desperate quest to have a shag (in case you have forgotten just how much of a liability Ollie was, remind yourselves here). According to one of his co stars, Aimi McDonald, he’d quite often had a couple of drinks by 7am. The poor woman had to do twelve takes of a naked sex scene with Reed while the director tried to get him to stop panting. She did have the presence of mind however to insist on having a towel placed strategically between them. Had it have been me, I would have preferred to be inside a bell diving suit.
