“I thought it'd be funny-” Cub dug around in a shulker box - “if we all wore dragon heads to the dragon fight.” He counted the people gathered around. “... Except we're one short.”

“I mean,” Pearl offered with a grin, “I kinda brought my own, didn't I?”

Without waiting for a reply, Pearl let only her head revert to her natural form. A long snout and midnight scales emerged and replaced human skin and hair. She wobbled a little, adjusting to a dragon-sized head on her still-human body.

A few hermits stared. Pearl just grinned toothily and dove into the End.

I played minecraft for too long now its 10pm and I gotta eat dinnar and shower and whatnot...
