Butterfree -- The OG. I love Butterfree, I might have went a little feral over its Gigantamax form, and this was a staple of my early game experiences.

Rimbombee -- Cutiefly's entire evolutionary chain is charming but also I love fairy types, so the secondary typing here is great. This little guy has the cutest shiny and also endeared itself to me big time in Dynamax Adventures where pollen puff is G O D T I E R thank you for being the best teammate I could ask for.

Beautifly -- Okay, yes, I have a butterfly obsession, I'll admit it. But hear me out, these guys are described as being SO MEAN in their pokedex entry, and I love that for them!!!

Pheramosa -- Ultrabeast wife? Ultrabeast wife. I love her lore, I love her shiny, I love her design, I want to pet her antennae so much.

Centiskorch -- This lovely little lad was a main team member for me on SwSh and I'm eternally grateful for all of its contributions in carrying me through gym battles. On top of that, it has a wonderfully dragon-like design in its Gigantamax form.

Frosmoth -- I like flappy bug pokemon and I cannot lie. Frosmoth is so elegant though. It has this wonderful color scheme and even in shiny its faintly green. I love it I love it I love it. Pretty. <3

oooo, I love pokémon. it's hard to pick a best, because there are elements of each that I love. for eg, the aesthetic of the legends arceus and the photo shop and the exploration and how you do actually throw the pokéballs is incredible, playing with pokémon properly in x and farming berries and the hoards are fun, while I adore some of the regional forms in moon, I like the shield dlc in particular because I love legendary hunting and peony is like my favourite character in anything ever, the battles in go are tense I think, oh and I like the soups and camping in shield and how the bikes feel to ride. so like, I can't pick a favourite outright, I think I would pick a hypothetical game that combined everything I like within other games lmao. but I have the most hours in arceus, if that's worth anything, so it's probably that, by virtue of you play what's most enjoyable most usually.
