But anyone else think that Rise was one of the best shows featuring teens? Like unlike some shows that we see today, they didn't try to make the characters qUiRkY but realistic instead.
And I am never going to stop being mad about the fact that they cancelled it like I wanted to see SO MANY THINGS HAPPENING BUT WE DIDN'T,, THANKS TO NBC FOR BEING A BEACH
Here's some of the things I'd kill to see :-
i. Lilette dealing with her relationship with Robbie if she does move out of Stanton.
ii. VANESSA'S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT !!!
iii. Gwen and Gordy's relationship pls
iv. Masshous ( idk how you spell it ) being adopted by the Mazzuchellis because sorry ,, Masshous's birth mother but Kaitlin needs a brother like him
v. Kaitlin going to highschool
vi. Sasha dealing with highschool and her baby
vii. SASHA AND MICHAEL BITCHES
viii. JOLENE MY BBY GETTING HER STORYLINE BECAUSE LET'S BE HONEST, SHE DESERVES IT
ix. The district vs Lou and Tracey. I wanna see how they get them to continue the theatre program.
x. Tracey finding out about her daughter. Hopefully them reuniting.
xi. Robbie's mom's death. Lowkey wishing she doesn't die and Robbie's dad does instead 😻
xii. Simon and his dad having a conversation about the play. Let's just hope he doesn't get kicked out.
xiii. Simon coming out as either gay or bisexual ─ or Lilette coming out as either bisexual or pansexual.
xiii. Simon's mom gonna accept but his dad ,, oh no no no no
xiv. Jeremy's condition in his home, I wanna see if they accept him or not
xv. JEREMY'S SOLO
xvi. Anabelle finding someone who truly cares for her but pushing them away because of what happened with Simon. Trust issues !!!
xvii. Lou getting a character development. That bitch needs it urgently.
xviii. Gordy graduating and hopefully getting into football and maybe becoming a footballer whilst recovering from his addiction ???
and finally, FRANCIS HAVING HIS STORYLINE. THE ONLY GUY WHO REPRESENTS FILIPINOS !!!

Its pride month and all I can picture is Jeremy Travers being so cute and wearing rainbow socks and changing his phone background to a pride flag. Honestly he'd be so excited and happy about Pride.

Rise: a beautiful show
I feel so strongly towards a show, a show that when I saw the first episode I truly felt there was no way I could love this much. This show is truly brilliant and just what we needed on tv. It highlights the lives of those who need a place of refuge and seeks the theatre as so many of us do. I have not been this disappointed in a television company for not renewing a show. I understand that they are serving a business and not just putting things on tv because a small group of theatre kids feels so strongly about what has been produced. To have these children put on a show as radical as Spring Awakening was a bit out of most high school's reach but the lesson it served was one which should be taken to heart and has touched the lives of many. If what you are putting out on stage is not something that you fully, and wholeheartedly believe in, why are you doing it at all? For Lou to change the whole plan of the show an hour before opening because he felt the kids deserved a chance to see this production to it's fullest and not sell than short is truly so amazing to see. I am beyond disappointed that so many of the brilliant story arcs which I was so excited to see follow through into the next season will not be seen but infinitely grateful for the time we got with those storylines. I was incredibly excited to see how the dynamic of Simon's family changed after his decision during the show and his father's subsequent decision to walk out. I was excited to see what the show was going to do with the budding " relationship" between Micheal and Sasha as well as Sasha's impending decision about her pregnancy. I was truly heartbroken when Maashous left and wanted to see if his character would be continued in the new season especially considering his place with the fans. I was excited to see how Sam and Gwen's relationship would change after the custody became shared and what would happen with that. And, as cliche as it seems I was the most excited to see how Robbie and Lilette would work. I followed the emotional rollercoaster that was their relationship from the beginning and when he said that he loved her I started to bawl because I truly felt as though that relationship was real due to the outstanding acting by Damon and Auli'i. This show had so many stories which could have been seen and the biggest being what would happen with Stanton Drama? This show was what I looked forward to every Tuesday night and Wednesday night when I would rewatch the episodes. The music, the costumes, the acting, all of it came together for this spectacular show. I mean it had Stephine J. Block for Christ's sake! I can't say enough about this show and this is truly just my honest reaction just minutes after finishing this final episode of this show. I thank the fantastic show for putting on the performance of a lifetime and giving us all something beautiful to watch and rewatch. I think the main point that we can take away from this show is if your heart isn't fully into what you're doing it. The reason that Stanton High's last performance was so powerful was that they put their whole heart into it.

All Things She Never Did Are Left Behind. Mom.
Robbie pov:
My love was assured.
I was sure when I told her, but my heart was vulnerable.
My love was assured when she finished my line. My eyes teary and my mother's days growing finite, my love was assured.
It was too much. The song. The graveyard. My mother--ALS-struck.
But my love was returned when the scene was over. Backstage. The warm feeling of bond. Of love. Of intertwind spirits, like branches, all topsy-turvy, but beautiful nonetheless. It was bliss. It was safety. It was Hearth.
All good things must come to an end and I wasn't ready. "I'm moving." She said. Let me have just one more second of wonder with her. How she and her brown eyes, so big they goggle, look into mine and see my soul. My broken soul."My mother got a job in Philadelphia and I'm moving."
And I knew I would be forever missing her. I can't have two of my most important people leave me. Abandon me. If only this moment could pause. Rewind us back to the time I was certain of our connection. Keep us there. Let her news as a burden depart from her shoulders and let us live in it. Bathe in it. One last time. That's all i need. Savor the moment like it will end. Because it will.
Guess it won't be hard to play Melchior.
It was half-easy to start with. Et tu Brute? Must you exit the way you came? Crashing with combustion and thriving with beauty? God, how utterly deep she was. How independent. How honest. How she milked every emotion from me and made it feel special. How she was special. How she could look past my facade and phase me. Change me. Mess me up.
My life was changing for the better and as John Green wrote, "Time is a whore. She screws with everyone."
Well, I guess fate is her sister.
God, the irony!
It's the Bitch of Living.

I’m honestly so heartbroken over hearing that Rise has been canceled. For one of the first times ever in tv, I have found characters that I can relate to on deep personal levels. The way that Rise depicts its characters in such a realistic way has nearly brought me to tears on multiple occasions. This show is so important for everyone to see, and I simply cannot believe that it got cancelled. So please everyone, I’m begging you, try to do something about it. If we’ve learned anything from Rise, it’s that we shouldn’t be afraid to use our voices to stand up for what we care about. So please, call/message Netflix,Hulu, or any other stations that will pick the show up. Watch the season finale and live tweet @ nbc during it. Write a letter to the NBC headquarters, anything helps. We can’t just let this masterpiece go to waste.
