Have you heard about a tiny convention call Rockwood?
This one takes place in Offenbach, a few minutes away from Frankfurt. Guests are Rob Benedict and his band Louden Swain (that I genuinely like), Gil McKinney, Lisa Berry and Jeffrey Vincent Parise. Plus some more singers.
The thing is: this con is so easygoing. The guest run around the hotel without security because the fans are chill too.
Today, there was an option for a brunch (135€ for a ticket). You can choose a table with two guests. (In my case, Billy Moran and Stephen Norton) and then, it's like a 60 min meet and greet with food! And all the tables are in one room. It's about 8 fans on one table, so you can actually chat with your chosen guest.
I loved that! It was so comfy for everyone.
Since it's all about music, there are unplugged sessions and jam sessions all day long. And a big concert every night with everyone.
Yesterday I say in the last row -> the 10th row! I could see the band and had space to dance as well. It was all amazing.
Other cons are great, too. But this one is just a little more cosy than others. :)
