i entered my attic bedroom and a large shaven headed man was there sitting on the edge of the bed. it used to be his room and his family still lived in the house below. gone for many years and seldom mentioned, i had assumed he was dead

the skin on his face was interrupted by a pattern, a harlequin of broken glass, with large shards painted to look like skin but not. i couldn't tell what was concealed under the paint

he asked me if they would be able to tell and i had to tell him yes and he wept

I’m really struggling with hunger while on steroids - partly because of the appetite-enhancing effects of the medication and partly because I’m trying to regain weight and rebuild my strength after losing so much while being so sick. I’m constantly rumbling and growling and needing to eat all the time to stave off these painful pangs so yesterday I took a rare, long (13 minutes) hunger recording of my poor tummy as it howled and groaned. Here’s a little clip from my tum’s torture!

Given the Shade of Life is confirmed to be female, that just leaves Death and Space/Void in regards to the Zhongli Shade theory.

If it weren't for the very heavy Sun/Star motifs Zhongli had, alongside his lore pieces about creation, I wouldn't be against the theory of him being the Shade of Death. The symbol of the Sun is the literal antithesis to the concept of Death across all cultures. But with the Unknown God's existence (and her Expy being Kiana) it's hard to squish him in the role of the Shade of Space...

Also since he's basically confirmed to not be the Shade of Life, that confirms if he was a Shade at all, he directly partook in the war against the Sovereigns (the Shade of Life was apparently the only one who didn't). Slaying their kin everywhere and spreading death and chaos across the earth, the war of which caused Azhdaha to lose his eyesight and be sealed underground for however many years (if he's confirmed to be the Geo Sovereign).

If the Shades were the reason the Sovereigns were put as they are rn, then why would Zhongli reverse everything he's done via not being antagonistic (whether it be social interaction or literally healing and buffing the dragon he aided in slaying years ago) to a sovereign? What could he have done to be the only Shade to be "demoted" after the dragon war? He's never broken a contract before...hmm...

Remember me complaining about how ridiculous my stomach noises were at the weekend? Today I posted a ten minute recording of them on Patreon for the Swelling Stomachs tier and I couldn’t believe how ridiculous they were when I listened to them back to edit out some background noises. Even I was like 😳

Here’s a little preview clip - I was both ultra-hungry from the steroids and had an upset stomach that felt different to the issues I have all the time now from crohn’s. Turned out I was heading into a bout of recurrent meningitis which also gives me stomach issues by itself so I had three things going on at once which just led to a day of the most obnoxious sounds from inside of me! Really embarrassing, really hot and very, VERY uncomfortable!!!
