Okay so...

Given that the Blacksmith never introduces herself as "The Blacksmith", the fact that she was shown carving wooden figures in her workshop, and how The Girl Who Fell Through the World featured a character known as "The Lively Carpenter" who Team RWBY never actually encounters, what are the odds that the Lively Carpenter was just what Lewis called the Blacksmith?

After all, we only see her blacksmithing when communicating with RWBY. Who's to say she wouldn't perform OTHER creative tasks when speaking to different people?

So this is interesting one because on the one hand, I'm inclined to agree simply out of process of elimination, ie; the Blacksmith is kinda the only character we see in the Ever After left who could be 'The Lively Carpenter', and has just enough in common with that description to fit.

But on the other hand... we know that Alyx met with the Blacksmith, however do we know if LEWIS ever met her? It's entirely possible that he could have gone through the Ever After and returned to Remnant without being offered Ascension.

One note that particularly stands out to me is how Ruby clearly DOESN'T recognize the Blacksmith upon first meeting her in the marketplace. Ruby KNOWS the story of The Girl Who Fell Through the World, so if the Blacksmith is, or rather was the inspiration for, the Lively Carpenter, shouldn't Ruby have had at least made some connection?

CRWBY literally can't even make a silly 3 minute long video without toxic people trying to hate on the series. That piece of garbage named double a is shitting on the new episode of RWBY Vtubing. And the episode is only 3 minutes long.

Your frustration is valid, believe me. That man literally made a video rating RWBY Women by their chest sizes. While on Twitter he made misogynistic remarks on Winter Schnee.

Its horrible, but let me explain the sad thing. Just as there are good people, There are bad people like Critter, Vexed, hero hei, adel aka, and RWDE.

You can't stop RWDE from being rude and just plain deplorable. But what you CAN do? Is try to educate people about RWBY, Anon.

Show them that RWBY is not as bad as critics brainwash them into thinking. Show them that RWBY is a show worth watching. Combat that negativity with positivity.

There will be people who say no, who embrace willful ignorance. And the sad thing is you can't stop them.

But? There will always be people willing to listen. And they will listen to you.

Be better than the haters, and become the change you wish to see online. And others will do it alongside you. You're not alone, Anon. I believe in you...Good luck!

Finally! My friend, i thought you will never reach me! Right, i will start with RWBY first if you do not mind.

1 - I first suggest researching what fascism is. Because under no definition is Ironwood a fascist, especially not in V7. RWBY fans have such a shit understanding of politics that i am half convinced most of you arent even of voting age and get your political takes from twitter only.

2 - Most RWDE/critics etc defend Ironwood actions in V7 and raising Atlas from Salems reach. Let me remind you that Ironwood was evacuating Mantle to Atlas and only stopped because Salem was coming. And Salem reaching Atlas means everyone dies. Now, maybe you are of the opinion that everyone should die and call it “equality”, but i am of the opinion that saving some people is better than saving none.

3. People do not consume media in a vacuum, but neither does their media consumption say what kind of person they are. Nor the characters they like.

Now onto the Anime bit.

Okay, dont tell anyone this secret but... I also pirate Anime and do not buy Anime merch. Because i know how shit the working conditions in Japan are, and i know that me paying money for the work of the artists aint gonna actually go to them. So... Thats not a gotcha...

I am an equal opportunity pirate in this regard.

On the topic of Ukraine. Sorry people, i know its a RWBY post but some politics will get into this now.

I am of the personal belief that nations should not be invaded and their people subjugated and exterminated. I live in Lithuania, a country that was militarily occupied by USSR and had 100k+ of our citizens, including women and children banished to Siberia, to die. Considering the crimes unveiled at Bucha and Russian Federation unabashed genocidal rhetoric, i do not want Ukraine to experience the same, or even worse fate.

Especially since i work with many Ukrainian refugees and i can literally see my country change in real time. Its sad that it is due to a war. But its heartening to see the unity that many people display.

Is Ukraine a perfect victim that has no problems? No. It still should not be invaded and its people should not be killed for the imperialist ambitions of yet another Russian fucking bastard.

As far as Nazis in my server? Who? Care to give me a nickname so i could investigate them and remove them? Because i am not aware of any nazis in my server.

What’s with “critics” and their hang up of Ciel? She was a liaison with Ironwood for Penny. Bing, bang, boom.

This isn’t like Sakura Haruno where a character is placed with the main character and rival only to be veeeeeeery superfluous despite the author’s well meaning efforts (trying to be charitable here).

Ciel maybe could’ve been a side character but she’d be flavor text all the same, foreshadowing how Atlas huntsman operates.

Honestly like a lot of HTDM/RWDE complaints its not really rooted in much of anything and is also contradictory to many of their other complains.

IE, they whine about cast bloat but then also whine a minor character wasn't major.

If I was to be generous, I'd say its because Ciel had a clear gimmick in her very literal use of time and a genuinely cool design, plus raised the question of why she was picked as Penny's handler while also being ignorant of her nature.

There is enough there that if one wanted to they could make an interesting character. But the same could be said for the White Fang lieutenant, or Vernal, or any number of characters in RWBY or in any other given show, Ten Ten to offer a Naruto example.

Thus as usual its largely a mix of looking for things to complain about and or being mad their headcanons about a given character were wrong.

If you could give a few tips or things to keep in mind to write a good Jaune Arc in a fanfic and let him grow without making it feel like yet another "Uber capable Chad who lay all the girls he meet and kill armes of enemies" story, what would you suggest? What are the pitfalls, and what are some elements you feel can't be changed without losing who Jaune is?

And yes, I'm asking for me as I don't want to fuck up this one.

Since I don't know exactly what kind of fic you're going for other than wanting a good Jaune fic and one where he grows, my advice is to establish a good backstory for Jaune that establishes how he got to this point in your story, the goals that he wants to achieve as well as the failures that he's experienced along the way that he improves and grows from throughout your story.

I would keep Jaune in your story as sincere, thoughtful, a little bit insecure at first, and compassionate. Jaune would do anything for his friends and has always been there for them when they needed him, but he was insecure at first with his own abilities and had many doubts about himself before he became more confident and believed in himself.

If you were going to ship him with someone I would focus on that specific relationship growing it and showing the development of that relationship throughout your story. The relationship doesn't have to be a big part of your story, but if you want a romance it should still be shown throughout

I guess some pitfalls to avoid is having Jaune rage suddenly and commit all kinds of acts unwarranted or from a minor incident, making him way too confident, macho, or a chad getting with everyone like you mentioned. I also would stay away from making Jaune heartless or having him talk down on others when that's not who Jaune is at all

Some elements I feel like can't be changed about Jaune without losing him is his slight insecurity within himself, and his kind heart and willingness to help others

Hope some of this advice helps and I hope your fan fiction goes well

I may not be interested in RWBY (but I love BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle), but I don't want movements like "Fixing RWBY" to exist. I don't care about perfection in RWBY or anything else, I just want everyone to STFU.

I don't think my main problem with movements like Fixing RWBY is that they exist.

My main problem is that the only way for them to validate their existence is by insulting the show they're drawing from, and by demanding other people not watch RWBY.

Are you familiar with Team Four Star? Abridged Dragon Ball Z and Hellsing Ultimate. Arguably more entertaining, BUT! They repeatedly encouraged people to watch the Original Shows, and to pay respect to the writers.

And that is my issue with people like Couer Al'Alaran and Fixing RWBY and Remnant.

They make money off the show, they promote their material based on the show....but they refuse to respect the show and its writers, and they try to dissuade others from watching RWBY in favor of their own ideologies.

Had Sytokun and Celtic Phoenix been more respectful to CRWBY and to RWBY...I honestly would both see and treat them in an entirely different light.

Isn't that strange? That I would do a 180 based on these people showing that respect?

But given the sheer hatred and the volume of that hatred against RWBY and its writers...maybe that respect is hard to come by these days.

I find that sad.

1 - During the RT controversies many of your people came in DEFENCE of RT, people like Lilith Fairen cursed out and attacked people on twitter for criticizing RT and afterwards your anti-RWDE crowd spread Kdins past shitty behaviour. Pointing out her past behaviour is not a problem. But you did so to protect a bigoted company.

2 - Your anti-RWDE crowd has called for people to support RT financially through merch and other such avenues. Showing that you care more for your show and a corporation than its workers.

3 - Multiple anti-RWDE people have been caught using slurs, people like Lilith using ethnic slurs while some of your other people have been caight using the word "ret*rd". One of your people, Darious uses an alt account to spread islamophobic and racist shit to Adel Aka and Vexed Viewer. I dont like their content. But the racist attacks on them come from YOUR crowd

4 - Multiple of your people have been caught faking accusations about others. Canonseeker, a person your anti-RWDE crowd is friendly with for example took issue with me slagging of NAZIS on twitter. Pretending that they were "RWBY fans". I dont know why he stated that Nazis were RWBY fans but you should ask him that.

5- Your anti-RWDE crowd constantly use language or tactics associated with the alt-right. Lilith Fairen often weaponizes an alt right tactic when people call out racism/sexism, to them accuse the accusers of these things. Some of your people freely use the word "degener*te" which is HEAVILY associated with far right ideologies.

6 - Most of your biggest attacks have been against people of colour and sexual minorities. You dont go after chuds. Your MAIN targets are specifically women, people of colour, and those of non-straight sexualities. And that is no coincidence. Hell, quite recently one of your leaders, Lilith straight up made an entire paragraph which just reeked of white saviour syndrome.

7 - It is only from YOUR anti-RWDE crowd that i have gotten shit for supporting Ukraine in their defence against a Russian invasion. No single critic of RWBY has EVER given me shit for that. Only RWBY fans. Why is that?

Need i go on? The reason why i call you fake progressives is not due to the labels you hold. But due to your behaviour. The BEST you can levy in accusations against RWDE people is making shit up.

Xel Writer/Zam/Xelianthought for example is hanging around twitter claiming that the Canonseeker expose document was made with the help of Kiwifarms knowing that its a lie. He wanted to get my Reddit account deleted through false accusations that Lilith wanted to get onto too. Your friend canonseeker is coming up with real life fanfiction about me "controling" RWBY youtubers and r/RWBY mods.

The best you can do are either lies or shouting "YOU ARE SEXIST/RACIST/HOMOPHOBE" with absolutely no proof.

While your, anti-RWDE behaviour has been recorded to be fucking horrible. And none of you ever apologized or even acknowledged the things you have done. None of you have acknowledged or apologized for using slurs. None of you have apologized for defending RT.

You doubled down on that shit.

Also, if you dont care what we say. Why in the fuck do you keep hounding us? Why do i receive nearly daily asks of harassment? Why do you keep talking about us? If nobody believes us or listens to us. Why do you care?

See? Your attacks are so transparent its funny to me. Because in your whole "Nobody cares about you spiel" you reveal just how much of a pain we are to you people. Good.
