Okay so I mentioned how Sasha doesn't fall somehow? I think I figured it out. See, Sasha did two nearly unforgivable acts, and the second should have definitely caused her to fall. Like, staging a coup and imprisoning both your best friends? Fall worth for sure. Heck, even she was surprised, having expecting this to happen. But the sashanne is too strong lol. Of course, that's only part of it, because the marcanne is also strong. Anne knows Sasha is not a great friend, but she can't pin all the blame on her, she won't. She believes Grime encouraged her to be even worse, that Grime is pressuring her to do these things, so Sasha doesn't fall.

Marcy does. Why's that, you might say? Because now Anne knows that Andrias manipulated her, of course, so shouldn't she hold that same sliver of forgiveness that she holds for Sasha? But she doesn't. Because Andrias had nothing to do with lying to them about the box, nothing to do with dragging her away from her family, her life. That was all Marcy. So all the blame falls onto her shoulders, covering her with darkness, a shadow that will never leave.

may i present to you my winged au please i am in love with this for no reason so if you couldn't tell sasha is a heron, anne is a dragonfly, and marcy is a personafication of metamorphosis

andrias had to get rid of marcy's wings, but darcy asked for synthetic monarch butterfly wings(which marcy really hated afterwards)

calamity powers anne can sort of use her wings now and they get a pretty pattern (and at the second temple her wings got the same pattern from frost)

So Robin growing up as a kid often had their wings damaged like feathers pulled out by their parents (cause birds do that) Due to that their wings grew underdeveloped and much smaller than normal. They never had the chance to actually learn the skill or grow the muscles necessary for flight. It's not even October and I'm already thinking about a Sashamilla monster au where Sasha is a vampire and Milla is human

Don't ask me specifics, it only came to mind because I thought of the single scenario where vampire! Sasha is overworking himself and Milla is sent to check on him and it's a beauty and the beast moment where maybe he's cranky that someone is bothering him and so he hisses at her but she's standing their completely unfazed before grabbing his hand and dragging him out for lunch

Also, need y'all to imagine a more monstrous take on vampires with extra batty features and therefore imagine Sasha with a bat snoot and Milla playfully booping his snoot (she's the only one that can get away with doing that)

ADHD is both a blessing and a curse ahem anyway angel au because brain immediately made up like half of it in a split second and then I entertained it for some reason

Angels have pure white wings, and fallen angels have the opposite, pure black. However, it is not an immediate fall from grace. Sins can cause your feathers to gray, eventually becoming full black. Small sins, such as lying, can be forgiven, and then the gray returns to white. Most adults are somewhat mottled, but definitely white. It is considered almost taboo to not forgive someone for something small and simple, to let that one little mistake stain them for the rest of their lives. Hence, children's wings often vary in color wildly throughout the days, as they are made aware of rules and forgiven for their transgressions. A mark of a "bad" kid (or one in a troubled household, but that often overlaps, just enough for everyone to pretend) is nearly pure gray wings, but not black. It is incredibly rare to see a child with black wings, as it is to see any with them, but children especially.

It was once rare to see Anne Boonchuy with grey, but the sight has increased in frequency as the girls move through middle school. Marcy Wu was always a little gray at the tips (remember that other thing in parentheses?), but a bright girl overall. Many blamed the third, Sasha Waybright, for the growing gray spots on the other two, as she herself had nearly pure grey wings (hey remember the thing again? yeah), and dragged them into her stunts.

I think I'm gonna call this greying wings au? Angel au is already a pretty common tag, and I wanted something unique :)
