What DC hero do you have the most fun reading?

Honestly every time Lois Lane shows up I'm like "YEAAH!!" It's so cool when she shows up just as a part of the DC universe, independent of Superman. It really makes her feel like this simultaneously grounding and compelling element, and it always makes whatever's currently happening feel like a BIG DEAL, because it's like, "Oh damn, Lois Lane smells a story that's worth her time, here." Also she takes no shit and is completely fucking fearless.

I have a similar feeling seeing Green Lantern Corps members show up in space stories that aren't Green Lantern-centric. Even if it's just to kind of mow them down like a hapless space bobby showing up like "Oi oi oi, whot's all this then?" and then immediately getting brained by Lobo. I don't know, it's just the concept of them being able to show up across the universe I think is really cool and it makes the DC universe feel distinct.

If I had to pick a specific superhero, though, I love love love Mister Miracle because that man is here to do two things:

Get tied up

Be a Wifeguy to his beautiful buff ginormous wife

And it doesn't matter what order that happens in.

But on a more serious note, I love how he feels very scrappy and clever and technical, kind of Odysseus vibes. He's kind of a trickster. But also beneath that, he has so so so so so much trauma. He is so fucked up. He lived in Space Hell! He was sent to Space Hell as a foster child as part of a fucked up pact between Apokolips (Space Hell) and New Genesis! He escaped from Space Hell! And that's why escape artistry is his whole shtick! But he didn't escape it right away! He failed over and over and over and agonizingly over again until he didn't! He kept trying no matter how much they were consciously trying to crush his hope! (Wow I'm really starting to smell the Jack Kirby on here). Also "The trap is not in the chain, it's in the brain" is such a banger line.
