Band of Brothers Appreciation Week - Day 6
So for day 6 I have chosen ‘post war’ and what a better way to say it than a moodboard of Dick Winters enjoying his quiet life on a farm in Pennsylvania.
‘Post War’

Band of Brothers' people, have you ever heard a real eagle screming?
Because I was wondering about the majestic, for sure, scream, so I found it and... hmmm, when I think about it, it's a perfect representation for the majority of people who would jump out of well working planes.
Just not sure it's that perfect for the biggest badasses in the US army...?
(But seriously, I wonder if the person who named them Screaming Eagles KNEW how it sounded, because if yes - best trolling in the mankind history, don't change my mind).
Anyway, enjoy:

New series! No real schedule or overall plan for this one, I just love the idea. Based roughly on Band of Brothers.
Vignettes of World War II from the eyes of combat medic Elrond Peredhel.

In the heart of valor, where courage stood,
A brotherhood formed, bonded strong and good.
United souls, by fate's decree,
They stood as one, the Easy Company.
Through trials and tears, they forged their way,
Their mettle tested, day by day.
With each new challenge, they would rise,
In the face of danger, they'd not compromise.
From Normandy's shores to Bastogne's freeze,
They fought with honor, on bended knees.
Through fields of chaos, they pressed on,
Their bravery shining like the dawn.
In the dark of night, they faced their fears,
Through thunderous skies and torrential tears.
With Band of Brothers, side by side,
They faced the darkness, hearts open wide.
Comradeship born on fields of strife,
A tapestry woven, each thread of life.
Though battles raged and scars were worn,
Their spirits strong, they were not torn.
Through sacrifice, they found their way,
A beacon of hope in war's dismay.
In every heart, their stories live,
In every soul, their strength they give.
For Easy Company, we raise a cheer,
In memory of those no longer here.
Their legacy forever will stand,
Heroes of courage, a noble band.
