‘No no no no no.’

You pushed past the pirate and ran outside. Were there really pirates attacking now?? Dashing outside, your worst fear had come true.

It was night and rain was pouring everywhere, soaking you to the bones and making your white dress stick to your skin as your hair dampened. To your utter shock, you could see houses here and there all caught up in fire. Despite the rain, the flames weren't dying. Rather than that they were spreading even more.

You could see villagers running everwhere. And then you saw what was chasing them.

Pirates. You could tell by their clothes and the obvious weapons that they were holding in their hands. You let out a scream when you heard a gunshot and ducked down and covered your head. Shakily, you raised your head and shrieked.

There was a dead body of a man laying about a few meters away from you. Blood slowly sweeping out of the bullet hole that you could see in his back as it leaked all around him in a pool.

You moved your eyes up to see a figure standing a few feet awat with a gun raised in the direction the man was shot.

You whimpered and leaped up, backing away in fear. The only noise you could hear was the patter of rain, the cackling of burning houses, and your heart as it hammered against your chest.

The pirate with the gun let out a sinister laugh. You watched as he brought up his free hand and ruffled his dull red head and turned his gaze towards you and your blood went cold.

“Come here kitty~” He purred with a smirk and started to slowly walk towards you. Your eyes widened and you turned around and started to run.

You ran down the muddy road and your shoes splashed against the water. Your chest heaved in and out as you desperately tried to get the air in your lungs.

Making your way towards the port, you slowed down.

Blood. Everywhere.

You could see the pirate ship that stood there at the end of the port, all proud and high looking. It was horrifying to look at. It was huge and dull as you looked up at the huge sails and the black and white skull flag that stood at the top of the crow’s nest as it waved ferociously in the wind.

From where you stood, you could make out more figures jumping out above the ship as they ran towards the city.

There were more of them?!

“No.” You whispered as you stood there helplessly, watching the scene of people being murdered in front of you.

Then it hit you.

“Appa.” You gasped in horror as you turned around and dashed towards the bar. Screw the fact that there was a pirate there, your father was in there too.

“Appa!!” You yelled as you reached the bar and slammed open the front doors.

The inside was all dark, not a speck of light apart from the light of the moon that shone behind you.

You knew this was bad. Dark places where never the best.

“Appa?” you whispered loudly. “A-are you there?”

You took cautious steps forward, hating the fact you couldn’t see well. Looking around, you frowned. Where is your father?

“Appa?”

You screamed when the door behind you slammed shut, darkness enveloping you. You brought your hands up to calm your pounding heard when you heard something. It was faint, but you heard it.

It sounded like a gun clicking...

Your eyes widened and you instantly ducked down to the floor as bullets began to rapidly fire behind you. You yelled and covered your head, the bullets missing you as you crawled up on your knees and felt around you for anything to protect you. The glasses that were in the bar shattered from the bullets and you could feel glass falling all over you.

You tried to ignore the pain that was on your hands and knees as you continued to crawl over broken glass. You managed to come across a knocked down table and you quickly made your way behind it, temporarily safe from the bullets.

After a solid full minute of gun firing, it stopped.

You tried to to make a noise. You knew the pirate was listening for any sound you made.

You brought you hand instantly up to your mouth to block your loud breathing. Tears went down as you sat there, tying your best to not make any sudden movements that you knew would lead to your sudden death.

But you couldn’t have panicked any more in your life than you did right now when you accidentally let out a loud chocked sob.

You screamed loudly this time when more shots were fired, but this time closer in your direction. The table that covered you jerked violently.

He managed to find out where you hid.

Above the noise of the bullets, you heard the front door slamming open, probably by the force of someone kicking it before a loudvoice that sounded of authority spoke out.

“Kyungsoo... that’s enough!”

And with those few words everything stopped. The man who was trying to shoot you immediately stopped.

The only thing that could be heard was the soft sound of your breathing from behind the now ruined table, your figure still hidden.

There was a couple of seconds of silence again, before you heard the two people whispering to each other,and a pair of footsteps walking out.

More tears slipped out as you tried not to panic but failed miserably.

....

“Oh princess~”

You didn’t bother to hide your whimper this time as you tried to crawl further away from the laughing man that was behind you.

Your crawling became frantic when you heard footsteps coming closer to you and the sound of tables and chairs being pushed aside and thrown across the bar.

You screamed when a chair was flung out of nowhere in front of you and another table that was hiding you suddenly disappeared behind your back.

You yelped and while still on your knees you turned around and your eyes widened.

It was the same guy from the bar earlier.

He stood there in those same clothes, his deep eyes piercing into your own as he stared you down with an emotionless look.

When sudden images of him shooting someone in the bar swept across your mind you yelped again and stood up and tried to run towards the door.

You were nearly there when you were suddenly kicked to another side of the room. You felt the ground come in harsh contact with your side and you let out a gasp of pain.

You moaned at the pain and you felt hands grab your arms and you were pushed on your back as the man straddled your hips and your arms were slammed on the floor on the sides of your head.

Your eyes widened as you sucked in a breath and stared at the pirate who straddled you.

The pirate said nothing and continued to stare you down. Your chest moved up and down by each breath you took, but found it hard since the man had pushed down too much on you.

Black eyes scanned your face, from the tip of your head to your neck. They stopped when the reached your eyes again and you decided to look at the man yourself.

You scanned him quickly and noticed the same, familiar gun poking out of his pocket. Once it was noticed, you remembered your situation and began to wildly shake under the pirates grip.

His eyes remained stoic as he watched you thrash around, trying to break free.

“L-let go of me!” you yelled and you tried to kick your legs. “Let me go!!”

You screamed when the man brought a hand up your hair and pulled at it, bringing your face closer to his. You cried out in pain and closed your eyes shut and let out a sob.

The tight grip on your hair remained and you refused to open your eyes, even when you felt the man’s breath on your face, close to your lips. You refused.

You then heard noise drawing closer to the door and then multiple footsteps walking in the bar and you heard a new voice speak up.

“We got the loot captain. Everything’s been taken and the ship’s ready to sail.”

You opened your eyes and turned your head towards the direction of the voice on your left.

There stood three men, three pirates. One of them had a little blood on him, and the others held huge guns.

You noticed another one step forward. “Your orders captain?” he said as you snapped your head back at the man above you.

‘Wait.... this guy is the captain?’

You began to struggle again against him when the man spoke out, “Sehun, Jongdae, grab her.”

The weight on you was lifted off and before you could stand up and run you felt two strong arms grab you on each arm and held you in place.

“LET ME GO!!” You yelled again and tried to pull your arms away. It was no use. The other pirates who held you were ten times stronger.

You looked up to glare at the ‘captain’ and he ignored your look and turned to face the last pirate in the room who hadn’t spoken at all.

“Yixing, tell the others to prepare the ship, we’re leaving. NOW.”

‘Yixing’ nodded and ran out the door. The man who commanded him turned around and waved his hands at the two others who held you. “Let’s go.”

And with that you were dragged out of the bar and into the storm once more. The sight of burning houses never left your sight.

You looked around frantically as you noticed they were pulling you towards the pirate ship and your struggling increased.

But all of that stopped when you noticed something lying all around you, and you felt like you couldn’t breath anymore.

There were dead bodies everywhere.
