Ego Headcanons: Jameson Jackson

Jameson is the reason why I wanted to do these, believe it or not! I was thinking about my headcanons for him, first, and then started thinking about the others. So, naturally I'm doing his first. Once every SepticEgo's headcanon posts are done, I'll clear out my inbox and I'll open prompts. Without further ado, here's Jameson!

Jameson isn't from our time. He's from the past -- the 1920s, to be exact! He was filming a Halloween special with his camera crew when something went horribly wrong, tapping into his time magic by accident. Despite his confusion, however, he continued. "The show must go on!", as they say.

Jameson has the power of time travel, as he discovered. His power is uncontrolled, and there's a lot of limitations as to what he can do with it, but he's trying to learn. He can stop time, as well, but again, he can't control that either. The one power he can control is the ability to summon small objects at will, but he doesn't do this often.

Jameson is quite the expressive fellow, and this is turned up to 11 when he's in front of a camera. But, he's a silent film actor, so he has to be expressive. Of course, that carried over into his day-to-day life

Jameson can talk! He may be silent on camera, but he does have a completely operable voice box. He has a British accent and has a very proper way of speaking.

He carries himself with elegance. He always dresses decently, and he's rarely seen without his bowler hat, no matter what he's wearing (unless it's pajamas, of course!)

Jameson is very intelligent, don't be fooled, but modern technology is not his strong suit. It's much more confusing and complicated than he's used to! Despite that, he's a quick learner and has a sharp mind. He's getting there.

Normally, Jameson is early to bed and early to rise, but he can easily stay up late if need be; after all, being in the film industry, it's necessary sometimes.

Jameson is very physically fit, considering he did all of his own stunts on set. He makes sure to eat healthy and eat at least three times a day, no matter how small the meal. Not that he eats that much, anyway

He's very close with Chase, who took him in as his son (yes, huge inspiration from @septic-dr-schneep here because I adore their dynamic. It's like my favorite thing). He's also close with Marvin, seeing as they both can do magic and they study together, and Schneep because he's absolutely fascinated with his work. He's not as close with Jackie (because he's busy a lot of the time), but isn't any less fascinated by what Jackie does. His admiration for him is more from afar.

Jameson is straight, and he's Demisexual! He hasn't been in many relationships, but he doesn't feel any sort of attraction towards someone unless they've bonded really closely.

Jameson loves Jazz, Ragtime, and Classical music. He can play a bit of piano, actually, as he took lessons when he was younger. He hasn't done it in years, but the muscle memory is there

He has a strange affinity for mixing drinks. The others have suggested he become a bartender, but he said the bar scene is too boisterous for him

He adores animation. He's amazed by just how much it's improved since his time, and happy to see the classics are still alive and kicking. Both him and Chase share their love for Disney by watching movies together often

Unless he's wearing pj's, he always has his pocket watch on him. Granted, he was given a smartphone, but the watch is easier for him to use to check the time. More importantly, though, the item is enchanted with magic, so naturally he has an attachment to it. The others understand, though they still encourage him to get used to using his phone (he can do basic things like text, but that's pretty much it. The others are always reminding him to put his phone into sleep mode so the battery doesn't drain)

Jameson has a scar on his finger from when he nicked it. Normally that type of wound would heal over completely, but it remained a scar due to Anti's influence. Jameson believes it may have been him who coaxed his magic out to send him so far into the future and mess up his timeline. He gets phantom pains sometimes where the scar will sting or burn as if the wound has been reopened. He often has night terrors about being possessed, which can often lead to panic attacks.

Seeing the community label him as evil or a puppet is extremely disheartening, and it saddens him. He's usually the brightest ball of sunshine with the largest smile, and as someone who tries his hardest to be a good person and do right by the world, to have all his efforts diminished to that makes him really depressed. But if questioned, he'll brush off any claims that he's feeling down and say he's fine. Besides, after seeing what Chase goes through, he doesn't believe he has any sort of depression

He usually hides his problems to avoid being a bother, though a lot of the time trying to deal with it himself makes it worse. Nine times out of ten, though, Chase sees through the ruse, considering he does the same exact thing

If he's in need of a distraction, Jameson will carve soap. It relaxes him, and he doesnt have to worry about being injured with the knife because it isn't that sharp. He knits a little bit, too, but isn't super at it just yet. He also writes often. If he doesn't have the energy for anything else, he'll read and drink a cup of tea.

Jameson doesn't swear... much. He believes it to be improper, but after living with the others, he's let the rare curse slip every now and again (usually followed by a hand over his mouth and a panicked apology, which the others find adorable). If he's really miffed, though, he's known to swear in 1920s lingo, and that he won't apologize for, because at that point he means it.

Jameson is, all at the same time, the oldest, the youngest, and the same age as the others. Though, he's babied often, to his slight dismay. He's from the past, making him the oldest, he's the youngest in terms of creation, and in terms of his real age, he's the same age as Jack and the others. Even though he carries himself with sophistication, he's a kid at heart, which doesn't help him being babied.

He admires Jack. He's only seen him comatose, but he can't wait to meet him, whenever that will be... he can only hope that will be soon. In the meantime, he uses his magic along with Marvin to try to get through to Jack. At least twice a week they try, any more and they'll burn themselves out and be weakened. Hopefully one day, though, the magic will work. Their efforts keep the hope alive that Jack will wake up someday.

And that's Jameson's done!! I know it was long (the others will probably be just as long), but this was a lot of fun to make!! Can't wait to do the rest!

It’s my boi Jackie! Since I haven’t drawn him in a good while, I have decided to try and improve on the design I had for him when I drew him for the ego preesh week event back in June. I’ve been practicing a lot since then ;) 

I should really draw him more often, I love his quirky character and, for lack of a better word, ‘try-hard’ heroism. My favorite thing about him though is that we don’t actually know what kind of super powers he has, or if he has any at all. So it’s really fun to mess around with and come up with headcannons for ^-^

Marvin HC’s

So I’ve been wanting to further expand my versions of the egos and since Marvin is one of my favorites, I figured I could start with him. These are mostly inspired by an ask I sent @beerecordings about the egos having a bunch of smaller pets and I just went with it.

Marvin’s Pets

Marvin’s room and lab practically feel like a different dimension from the rest of the house, mostly because of his peculiar decorating choices, his extensive collection of magical artifacts and potions, and his many exotic pets. Each one of them, while providing useful materials for his potions such as snakeskin and spider shed, are members of the family in their own right and he treats them all as such.

Sarsaparilla (Sassy), female orange baboon tarantula.

OBTs are old world spiders and are thus a lot more confrontational than their more docile new world counterparts. Sassy is no exception.

Things Sassy will fight:

Her water dish

Her feeding tongs

Marvin

Marvin’s brothers

Anti

God

She WILL 1v1 Anti in a Denny’s parking lot and she WILL win.

David S. Pumpkins, female pumpkin patch tarantula.

The name was NOT Marvin’s idea, it was Chase’s, but after Chase’s kids started calling her Davey, Marvin didn’t have the heart to change the name.

David is a lot more docile than Sassy. Generally very chill, she’ll let Marvin hold her for a short while and enjoys watching him work from her terrarium. She does not find the David S. Pumpkins song as amusing as Chase does.

Onyx, female dark earth tiger tarantula.

Onyx is extremely shy, preferring to stay in her burrow and out of sight. Her color makes her very hard to see even when she does emerge from her burrow, but she’s a sight to see on those rare occasions. Though Davey is Chase’s youngest’s favorite, his eldest loves Onyx, reading her bedtime stories and rambling on to her about her day, friends, crushes, ambitions, the works.

Though most couldn’t tell, Marvin knows how much Onyx appreciates it.

Venus, male ball python.

Venus is a very gentle and docile snake, preferring to spend his days on Marvin’s shoulder or chilling in the small terrarium pond. He’ll let just about anyone hold him, and is usually the snake Marvin uses to introduce people to his less friendly pets. However, he can also become a little gremlin if left alone for too long. He WILL crawl into the paper towel tube. You cannot stop him.

Popcorn, female corn snake.

Nicknamed Poppy or Corn Cob, Popcorn may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but Marvin dotes on her all the same. She has many many tiny snake sweaters and she knows full well how adorable she looks in them. Jameson’s birthday gifts for Marvin almost always include a hand knitted sweater for Popcorn.

Gemini, female rescue Sphinx cat.

A lovely little goblin with giant blue eyes.

Marvin’s brothers still aren’t convinced that Gemini isn’t just Marvin using a transmutation spell. This cat somehow KNOWS whenever anyone in the house is feeling down. Schneep lose a patient? She will snuggle with him for hours at a time. Jackie get himself injured? Nothing purr therapy can’t fix. Always wearing a wonderfully dapper little sweater, also handmade by Jameson with love.

Libra: Male Siberian cat.

Nicknamed Corkboard (Jackie’s idea. He was drunk) A FLOOF. Very very dumb, will walk into walls and fall down stairs and is way too lorge for his own good. Fancies himself a watchdog (watchcat?), but despite his size he’d never hurt a fly. He will lie on you when you have something important to get done and you’ll have to accept the fact that whatever it is, it’s going to have to wait.

Though Marvin has many pets to take care of, his hobbies extend far past looking after his small family of eccentric creatures. As much an alchemist as he is a general mage, Marvin requires many outlandish ingredients for his spells. Rather than travel through several alternate dimensions to collect them, he prefers to grow them himself in his own home greenhouse he has tucked away in a pocket dimension to keep the dangerous plants away from his pets and brothers.

Several of these plants are sentient, such as Mary the giant flytrap, a giant, carnivorous venus flytrap whose leaves can be used for a variety of medicinal potions, but who must be fed and kept happy or else you’re likely to lose a hand. She likes Marvin, but he knows full well that she will bite his arm off if he gets too behind on feeding. They have a tense symbiotic relationship.

While he considers Mary the centerpiece of his garden, she isn’t the only inhabitant. He cares for everything from garden mainstays like succulents and lilies, to more obscure plant life, like flowers that can read your mind or bright orange pea pods whose seeds can be turned into magical explosives rivaling that of a grenade.

Though he loves his brothers, Schneep is the only one who is allowed in his garden. It took a lot of convincing, but Schneep is a man of science and wanted to see exactly what goes into Marvin’s potions. He’s careful and takes the proper precautions, so Marvin will let him accompany him every so often, but never ever alone.

That’s about all I have on Marvin’s pets and garden for now, but I really want to write a fic about it someday. He’s a man of many hobbies and talents, and I think it would be interesting to develop all of the strange plant life he cares for.

Danti Headcanon

This HC got me inspired from the fact that Jack used to look up to Mark and Mark being the Irish boy’s inspiration into starting out doing Youtube, so it got me thinking about Dark & Anti...

Hear me out: Anti being a fanboy over Dark and the monochrome demon being the glitch bitch’s main inspiration into wanting to be a better & stronger demon, and the glitch just absolutely looked up to him. The day when Anti first met Dark, he nearly almost lost his shit cause he was finally meeting his hero for the first time with his colorless, black eyes. Then, Dark asked Anti to join him on a side mission and the glitch was beyond ecstatic. Now, to this very day, Anti gets to call Dark his best friend. The glitch demon went from fanboy to best friend, and Dark still inspires him to becoming a better demon.

SepticEgos and Family Photos Headcanons

So @poem-jim and I were talking about the SepticEgos and how they’d act while taking a family photo, and we came up with some beautiful gems.

Anti and Shawn refusing at first.

Schneep chasing Anti around the house and trying to sew up his neck for the picture.

Anti glitching into the camera to photobomb everyone.

Jameson convincing Shawn to get in the pictures with everyone bc Shawn is a Big Gay who can’t say no to his tiny boyfriend.

Robbie being that one child who keeps looking away from the camera and getting distracted.

Chase trying to do bunny ears behind Schneep and Anti’s heads.

Marvin being Extra™ in all of his poses.

Jameson being the only one who’s actually sitting still and listening to whoever’s taking the picture (either Jack or Signe).

Shawn refusing to look at the camera and smile until Jameson pokes his sides and makes him snort and grin right when the picture’s being taken.

Shawn then pulling Jameson into his lap for the next picture, and they’re laughing when the picture is taken.

Jackie and Marvin covering each other’s faces with their capes.

Angus being that one person who Can’t Sit Still and almost every picture of him is slightly blurry.

When Angus and Anti take a picture together, it’s just a blurry glitchy mess.

Jackie doing ridiculous and stupid superhero poses and making Marvin laugh while the picture is being taken.

Angus getting Anti into a playful headlock while the picture’s being taken.

Marvin using his magic to get Anti and Angus to Actually Sit Still.

Chase bringing in his nerf guns and posing with them one at a time.

Chase bringing his kids to take pictures.

Stacy refusing to let Chase have the kids, but is persuaded by Robbie asking her to let them come over for a few hours (bc tbh it’s practically impossible to say no to Robbie).

Esther somehow being able to make it for one of the family photo sessions, and Schneep almost cries with joy when he takes his picture with her.

Robbie talking to the camera like there’s people in there.

Anti glitching into the camera and talking back to Robbie and making him giggle.

Chase using the least flattering Snapchat filters when he takes pictures of everyone.

Anti doing that weird hand thing Jack sometimes does in selfies to playfully mock him and everyone just Loses It.

Robbie tries copying Anti and everyone loses it harder.

Just these nerds being a weird goofy family.

SepticEgos As Parents HC’s

Decided to do this for Father’s Day, maybe a one shot later. BUT ANYWAY, these are what the SepticEgos would do with a child reader.

Edit: Apparently this never posted sooo make that a few days late.

Antisepticeye

OK who the fuck gave this guy a kid?

At first, he didn’t care about the,. but over time he saw how useful they could be.

He would probably give them a black velvet choker because they hAVE TO MATCH

No son/daughter of his is going to go without his slit throat trademark, if they can’t have it then he will give them something to symbolize it.

“My daddy saves people! What does your dad DO?” “My dad puts the people your dad saves into those situations! :D”

They have never met the egos, only heard of them (Never even seen a video of them) by what Anti tells them

“Daddy, aren’t doctors suppose to help you?” “Not this doctor mini-me he’s awful and needs to die.”

Will definitely show them how to kill someone, but of course, they will never be as good as him.

“Aim, throw.” *child throws knife* *Chase falls to the ground with a knife in his back*

 Gets annoyed when they have to sleep and they force him to hold their hand as they sleep.

Anti sometimes rambles to the kid about his plans or how he is going to kill Jack and the egos. So literally if Henrik or Marvin delved into the child’s mind then all his plans would be there.

Literally one time Jackie was on top of Anti, about to kill him, and his kid just goes up behind them and stabs Jackie in the side with Anti’s knife

It was probably one of the only times they have actually seen an ego.

If they were to be captured, Chase or Jack would suggest trying to trying to “de-villianfy” them.

It doesn’t really work; “Now Y/N, zhis is-” *Y/N takes out a knife and just starts stabbing his legs* “OW! STOP IT! MARVIN CONTAIN ZHEM!”

Dr. Schneeplestein/Ze Guud Fatha

He is to busy for them tbh, but he tries his best

He either leaves them at home or brings them to the hospital with him

If that’s the case, then he will kinda just plop them down in his office and leave.

*Plops Y/N down in his spinny chair* “Here iz a fucking yogurt for you to eat, now stay here.” *Throws yogurt at them and leaves*

Of course you didn’t do that the first few times and he ended up getting calls about you escaping, he ended up boarding up escape routes that you could use.

*locks door* *Tightly locks window* “Um, Dr. Schneeplestein why are you screwing the vents shut-?” “Because zhe little bitch might climb through it and get into meine operating room again.”

Ya he was once operating on a patient and as he was turning around to grab a tool you were literally standing there.

He is the type of dad that will make sure you eat healthy

He literally will teach you about anatomy and give you random medical facts. He has actually gave you a descriptive story about how he operated on someone.

Definitely will bring you to “Bring Your Child To Work” day and show you “How To Be A 100% Qualified Doctor”

At first he wasn’t attentive to you and was actually quite careless of you, but when Anti tried to use you against him he immediately began taking you to work with him more and began to be more careful and observant of you.

You often have to drag the Good Doctor to bed when he is drunk, which usually ends in him sobbing on you or him just collapsing on your small body.

Definitely plays Operation with you.

Overall does his best and tries to be there for you and make sure to care for you.

Chase Brody

The Chillest dad

Actually, he’s quite protective, but in a chill way.

“Here comes the Airplane!” is used when giving them food.

This guy would play video games with his kid. as long as its age appropriate and they finish their homework.

Make sure he preserves their innocence.

He will invite the other egos over or takes him with you when he goes over to their house.

Will make homework time fun.

This guy does everything he can to support and love them.

Will call them “Little Dude” 

Goes to Henrik when they need a checkup or when they are sick or hurt.

Usually has Marvin perform something on their birthday.

Does everything he can to protect them from Anti.

Both are childish.

Chase does have a money issue, but he does his best to provide for them.

Expect lots of games like Tag or Hide And Seek.

Tries to set a good example, after all, he doesn’t want them to turn out bad.

Angus The Survival Hunter

At first he is confused as fuck.

Like seriously someone help this man... He didn’t even know he had a kid.

He will definitely raise the kid outdoors more then in.

He often goes on hikes with them on his back.

He literally uses Pappose cradle a nice Indian woman gave him to carry them when they were a baby.

This man can tackle angry bears, large crocodiles, a strong pack of wolves, and even cannibals... But he wasn’t ready for a child.

Don’t get me wrong though he loves them.

Spoils them with pets

He would teach them how to carve things and how to hunt.

Takes them out hiking and exploration constantly.

Angus would tell them stories and tell them all sorts of facts in order to lure them to sleep.

Robbie The Zombie

He’s a zombie and can’t actually have kids, but there was a zombie toddler that followed him out of their grave... And ever since they have been inseparable. 

Doesn’t know much about parenting. Which usually results in him having to rely on Henrik or Chase.

Very cuddly with them.

He often takes them to Schneep if a body part falls off.

Although Robbie is slightly territorial over his food he is willing to share his food with them.

Part of him is happy they are here since it makes him feel less out of place.

The other part is scared they will just die again ((meaning they will go back to being a corpse)) and he will be all alone again.

Very protective of them, especially around Anti. He just likes small and adorable things.

“Um Robbie I don’t zhink-” “Are you the zombie here?” “No-” “Then shush.”

Tries to teach them everything he knows, but usually Chase and Marvin have to help.

I will do the rest of them later. Might actually make a story around some of these HC’s

Honestly? I love making headcanons like that SO much. And a lot of what I’ve said in answers are things I’ve thought about for a while already– it’s just the giddy writer in me, nitpicking the characters from my favorite ongoing story :D

So basically, if anyone wants any random headcanons for the egos at any point (no need for an ask meme prompt thing or anything), about like, certain situations or how two of them act around each other or something, it literally makes me SO HAPPY to think about those things, so I’d be thrilled to do ego headcanons like that as like, a thing people can just send in asks about whenever :)

Do you have any hcs of the septicegos in a big storm that cuts the power cause I'm soon to be in the middle of that and I'm just curious.

Ah okie! Hopefully the storm has passed by now as I’m answering this but here ya go!

-Panic would ensue the moment the power cuts off.-The bois are either completely frozen and silent or they’re screaming and running around.-At one point Henrik blames Anti for the power outage.-Funny thing is none of them ever thought to buy a backup generator.-But Marvin manages to calm everyone and summon orbs of light throughout the house so they could find their way around.-Chase would have a pillow fort set up in his studio (calling it the “Instant Chill Fortress”) with Robbie already in it.-Pretty soon the others catch on and go to him.-They’d have to rearrange it so that everyone fits tho.-And for the most part they just chill, drink tea, and eat snacks until the electricity gets restored.-But knowing that storms give Rob unwanted memories, Henrik and Chase go into Dad Mode and comfort him while they wait for it to pass.

Egos + languages headcanons

(sign language not mentioned bc all of them either know it already or are currently learning it bc of Host, Jameson, Robbie and Anti)

(Keep in mind that these go for my interpretations of them. Your ideas are probably different)

SepticEgos

Anti

only speaks English but starts learning the language of whatever country him and Dark move to when they do

whishes he could speak Irish Gaelic bc that's where his real name (Anraí) comes from

or maybe he actually does speak Gaelic...i just thought of that

yeah maybe he does. i'll figure that out later with Krista i guess?

Chase

probably knows one language other than English but he's p rusty

Jackie

knows French on a weak intermediate level but doesn't use it (Marvin teases him about it a lot)

he could probably still manage if he really needed to

Marvin

fuckin genius i'm telling you

knows like twelve different languages

some of them are p common ones like French and Spanish and German (which makes Schneep super happy), but he also knows Danish (much to Signe's delight) and Hungarian (bc I'm a self-indulgent asshole and bc i wanna be able to utilise this hc without having to butcher languages via google translate)

slips into languages only he understands out of the ppl present if he wants to swear a lot/rant without others understanding it/be a little shit, as well as for calling Jackie cute things or an idiot (Jackie mostly can't tell the difference)

speaks in like three languages at the same time (usually none of those are English either) when he's really tired/woken up suddenly

thinks it's hilarious to talk to ppl in languages they don't understand and watch their reaction

Schneep

his mother tongue is German ofc and if he could choose he'd prefer to use that

nowadays he can only really chat with Marvin in German but he's super happy when he gets to do that

slips back into German if he's upset/startled/etc

if he's super sleepy he just doesn't recognise different languages and talks in a mix of both (this sounds like some Horrible Non-Native Speaker Stereotype but nah, I do that too way too much, it's just a thing that happens)

he also learned French like way way back but doesn't remember anything from it anymore

Robbie

poor bean can barely manage English, leave him alone

Ipliers

Dark

speaks another two or three languages aside from English but...none of them are human languages??

they're demonic ones

no one else knows them or where he got them from

knows a couple lullabies too and will sometimes sing them to Anti when he's having a really bad night

thanks to his personality/people skills/language skills even if you dropped him in the middle of a country he doesn't speak the language of, surrounded by ppl who don't speak English and took away his ability to just jump away, he'd still manage somehow

Wilford

too busy with his hectic bullshit to be bothered about measly languages

Host

technically only knows English but

he can literally just narrate "the Host flips Wilford off in Taiwanese" and Wilford will just hear Host flipping him off in Taiwanese

this works with any language

understanding written/spoken stuff in any language other than English is a lil harder though

Google

his built-in translate function allows him to understand a handful of languages on a basic level at any given moment

if he wanted full fluency in another language though he'd need to either go through hours of downloading upgrades and files and databases or actually sitting down and learning like a normal person

he prefers the downloading option

Bing

same as Google but he prefers learning the human way

probably actually tries learning some language i just have no idea which one

Ego Headcanons: Chase Brody

As you can tell, I'm not doing these in any particular order. Once I have half a coherent thought I'll start whichever one I decide next XD my brain decided on Chase, so here goes (WARNING THIS ONE IS INSANELY LONG):

Chase has been friends with Jack the longest. They met years ago and started their channels around the same time. Their content varies very differently from each others, but they've always supported one another, hence why they're so close

Chase was never a very popular kid in school. He didn't get the best grades and didn't see himself as anything special. He saw himself as simply "average", and that's where the name of his channel came from.

He went to a very religious school. Chase, however, is not religious. He's open to it, but he hated how the teachers treated the students. He got in trouble with them a lot because of that.

Home life was equally as hard. He wasn't treated the best by his parents either. This caused him to develop depression around middle school. It went untreated for years and gradually got worse.

He started the channel to give himself something to live for and look forward to each day. He loved making videos and loved connecting with the community, and it really helped with his loneliness. Eventually, his videos were doing well enough that, once he was monetized, he was able to move out of his parents' place and get a tiny apartment of his own.

He started the channel with the help of his high school friend Chad. The puppet of him is a running joke between them.

Chase met Stacy because of the channel. He ran into her in a coffee shop and she recognized him. They hit it off immediately. They grew close over time, got married, and had two kids, Samantha and Grayson.

Chase tried his hardest to upkeep the channel, but his content wasn't very popular, sadly. The lack of views made it hard to pay the bills most times because of the lack of revenue coming in. The expectation that because Chase was fairly well-known he should be making a lot of money, is what slowly drove Stacy away. Chase had been doing his channel for fun, not for money, so this expectation made things a lot harder on him.

Things began to go downhill once his ideas for stunts slowed. His depression was getting bad again and his energy was dropping. The pressure to make money and get views was weighing on him as well, and the quality of his videos were dropping. The community noticed this and urged him to take a break, but he refused because he couldn't if he wanted to keep his relationship with Stacy.

His two kids were his entire world. Every second he wasn't working was devoted to his family. He tried his best to be a good husband for Stacy, as well, even if they didn't have a lot of time for each other since Chase was bringing in the income and had to work more. But he always treated his family with love and respect and cherished them.

The divorce was his breaking point. After all his efforts to keep the family together, things fell apart anyway. He worked so hard and so much and was put under so much pressure and had very little support. His channel wasn't making him happy, and it wasn't making his kids and his wife happy because he couldn't support them as much as he wanted, and once they left he felt he had nothing left to live for.

Chase attempted suicide on a livestream that was shortly taken down afterwards, though snippets of it were saved by viewers and were spread around the internet.

When Chase was taken in for emergency surgery, the paramedics took him to a doctor who they knew would save his life. This is how he met Dr. Schneeplestein.

Chase had been in a coma for two months, and was put under watch for another two months after he woke up. Schneep made sure he was the doctor in charge of caring for Chase, and kept a close eye on him while he was regaining mobility and recovering. After many intensive therapy sessions and medication adjustments, Chase was finally allowed to go home. He had moved out shortly after the divorce, before the attempt, so he at least still had a place to live.

Jack and Schneep both visited Chase regularly. Jack had already become friends with Schneep before, so the three became very close. It was Jack that paid Chase's rent while he was in the hospital. Chase cried when Jack told him that

Chase made an apology video to the community and stated that that would be his last video for a really long time, if not forever. He took a long break from the channel as he tried to put together the pieces of what his life had become.

Schneep, having also been through a nasty divorce, helped Chase through the process and gave him advice. About a week before Jack fell ill, Schneep had taken Chase to go see his family and talk things out. This was before his shift at the hospital, so he didn't know the outcome

When Chase got the news that Henrik had been kidnapped and Jack was comatose, Chase decided to repay the favor he owed to them both and took over Jack's channel. He moved out of the apartment he lived at and into the house where the other Egos lived (which at the time were Marvin and Jackieboy Man).

While Jackie was busy most days hunting down Schneep and Anti, Marvin became Chase's protector. They grew close this way.

After a months-long battle, Chase got partial custody of his kids, allowing him to see them on weekends. This was a huge win for him.

Chase didn't have the time to go to therapy because of the management of Jack's channel and taking care of the kids on weekends, so he turned to alcohol to cope with the lack of a support system. Even though he could see his kids, the fact his two best friends were gone slowly broke him, but he knew he had to keep going.

When Jameson came along, Chase immediately knew he had to protect him. He pretty much adopted him as his son a few days after they met. They became very close very quickly, and the relationship they shared proved to be very good for Chase

When Schneep returned nine months later, the four of them helped Schneep ease back into being free again and helped him recover. Chase was there for him the most, wanting to return the favor back when Schneep helped him recover. Once he was well enough, they became drinking buddies, considering they both had the same bad habits and a lot to talk about. Chase prefers whiskey over anything else

He visits Jack three times a week to talk to him. He misses him dearly and desperately hopes he can hear him. He doesn't know that Jack actually can.

Despite his depressing past, Chase truly is a kid at heart, more so than the others. His smiles are one of the brightest you'll see, and his laughs are infectious.

He's a lover of Disney movies and he happily shares this with Jameson. He loves movies in general, but Disney is his favorite. He also adores Kingdom Hearts as a result. He tried to explain the plot to Jameson. He didn't get it.

Chase owns a lot of toys. Legos, action figures, race cars, Nerf guns, you name it. He even owns a few stuffed animals! He actually does play with them all, too; they're not just for show. The others assume he just collects toys, except for Schneep. He's the only other person who knows, and he vowed to keep it their secret. On the mornings where the others are busy and they're the only two in the house, Schneep will watch Chase play with his toys in his room while he sips coffee. It's some of their favorite moments they share together

Chase has an unashamed love for dinosaurs. He has gray pajamas with green dinosaurs on them and he openly wears them around the house. He often gets teased about it, which he responds by sticking his tongue out at whoever is doing the teasing

His favorite hat was a gift from Jack. He's rarely seen without it

Chase knows when to be mature and when to relax. He may not appear so, but he can really get focused when he has to, especially when it comes to the things that mean the most to him. Family is one of those things

Chase suffers from phantom pains and migraines because of the gunshot wound in his temple. On the days it's too bad to leave his bed, Marvin takes over the channel, and Schneep takes care of him. He also suffers from flashbacks and panic attacks, but he has people there to ground him

Chase is Bisexual. He's only been in relationships with women so far, and as of now he hasn't had the motivation to see anyone else. His family comes first, the channel second, and that's what he's choosing to focus on right now. He does want Stacy back, though, but he doubts it'll ever happen.

Aaaaaand I think that's it! At least, I hope it is. This one is REALLY fucking long and I wasn't expecting it to be, so sorry about that! I think the next longest one will be Schneep's probably, so I may do him next to get him outta the way. Idk

bOI HERE WE GO!Dapper&Anti: They tend to avoid eachother, though they have no problem being together in the same room. They just don’t talk much.

Dapper&Marvin: Dapper very much enjoys watching Marvin practice his magic as another headcanon of mine is that Dapper is magical himself!

Dapper&JackiBoyMan: They don’t seek each other out but do have lovely converstations when they do happen to talk to each other

Dapper&Shawn Flynn: Dapper enjoys watching him work, and since he’s mute Shawn doesn’t mind him watching.

Dapper&Schneep: These two like to quietly read with each other, just on the couch reading maybe sipping some tea, when Schneep has the down time of course, they don’t need to talk to enjoy each others presence

Septic Egos Hobby Headcanons

I got inspired to write some headcanons so here's what I think the ego's hobbies would be. I'm bored, why not.

Antisepticeye: Wood carving and Caligraphy

Once he possessed Jack and realized that he would actually have to keep his host alive, at least for the time being, Anti turned to other means to curb his incessant need to stab things. Wood carving was one of the ways he did so. He has a surprisingly steady hand and is actually pretty good at it. Calligraphy was just another offshoot of that natural talent, but be warned. The last person that made fun of him for it got a calligraphy pen shoved so far into their eye socket it came out the other side of thier skull.

Dr. Schneeplestien: Painting

Being a doctor is, obviously, very tiring and stressful work. Being a doctor for a bunch of clones, many of whom are dead, demons, have magic powers or sometimes all three is even worse. As a way to destress and focus his energy more, he turned to painting. While he usually does Bob Ross esque landscapes, he occasionally dabbles in portraits as well. Being possessed by Anti took a toll on his painting ability however, and he hasn't done it since.

Marvin the Magician: Gardening

While practicing magic is pretty much a hobby in itself, it can be pretty draining if you do it too much. Gardening, however, was always one of those things Marvin turned to in order to relax after a particularly taxing session or a hard day in general. Watching things grow and change from just the simplest of care and attention was a form of magic in itself, which Marvin appreciated.

Jackieboy Man: Kickboxing

Jackieboy Man has a lot of energy, that much is obvious. When he's not out saving people or other hero business, he gets incredibly antsy and jittery, so he turned to a physical sport to keep him in shape and help curb his excitability. Plus it was pretty cool to be able to tell people you do kickboxing as a hobby. It also helped the other egos feel safer as well, hoping that this ability would help Jackieboy keep them all safe from Anti. While he appreciates the sentiment, the thought of going up against Anti one on one is still nightmare fuel.

Chase Brody: Skateboarding

And no one is surprised. Ever since Chase started hanging out with Bing more, skateboarding became just another thing they'd do together. Bing isn't really the best tutor, but Chase doesn't mind. It's still fun, even though he nearly cracks his skull open every time he falls. Schneep does not approve.

Robbie the Zombie: Cooking

Being a zombie, Robbie is extremely fragile and susceptible to injury, so he can't really help out with most of the household chores. He always hated feeling like a freeloader, so he took up cooking as a means to feel important to the group. Being a zombie in itself insn't very sanitary, however, so he wears gloves and has his stitches reinforced so no pieces of him start falling off. The others were hesitant at first, but warmed up to it when they found out how good at it he actually was.

Jameson Jackson: Piano

Being mute certainly isn't fun, but Jameson got used to it after awhile. Still, being able to express himself through sound was always something he wished he could do. Singing was off the table so he turned to the next best thing: an instrument. He bought himself a portable keyboard for his room and played it in his off time. He wasn't very good at first, but after awhile he started to pick it up quite quickly. His favorite genres are classical and ragtime.

These were just a few headcanons I had floating around and wanted to get down somewhere. @septic-dr-schneep was one of the inspirations for this, just becuase I was reading thier headcanons the other day and got inspired. They're really good, I would really reccomend them.

SepticEgos Headcanons

some soft headcanons of the septicegos where they each get their own puppy, the other septicegos helping Chase & Schneep out on watching their kids, and how a night out would be with them going to an arcade

Chase is the type to adopt a bunch of puppies (six to be exact because one for each ego) and bring them back to the house because he’s a good guy with a good heart who just wants to give all the puppies a home

Once he gets home, Schneep tells him that he can only keep one puppy which bums out Chase cause he really wanted to keep all of the puppies, but the other septicegos beg ze good doctah on keeping the puppies (Schneep caves in but not without making rules and going over it with them)

Even Anti is a corner with a few puppies laying on top of him, licking his face and the glitchy demon laughing and giggling to himself because he too has a secret soft spot for puppies

They all help each other on taking care of their corresponding puppies and be the best dog dads that the world has ever seen

Each puppy has something that corresponds to each ego so you can tell it’s theirs: 

Chase’s puppy has a little baseball cap on his head

Marvin’s puppy has a tiny black cape on its back 

Jackieboy Man’s puppy is dressed in a small full red leotard costume

Jameson’s puppy has a tiny bowler hat on his head

Schneep’s puppy has a tiny white doctor’s coat

Anti’s puppy has a small toy squeaker knife that he carries in his mouth

Whenever Chase or Schneep has to watch their kids, the other egos will usually help them out so it’s not to stressful for the two dads

The kids refer to the other egos as their uncles and calls each of them as Uncle Anti, Uncle Marvin, Uncle Jackieboy Man, and Uncle Jameson (Uncle Chase for Schneep’s kids and Uncle Schneep for Chase’s kids)

Marvin will put on a magic show for the kids and will pull up a few of the kids to help him with the tricks, which they absolutely adore cause they love Uncle Marvin’s magic tricks

Jackieboy Man picks out superhero costumes from a halloween store and brings them over to the house, and let the kids pick out which costumes they want and he gives them small missions to do around the house

Jameson will provide art & crafts supplies to let the kids make some drawings & macaroni art

One time, Chase’s youngest kid made a drawing of Anti hugging his knife with a big heart around it that says “Uncle Anti + Knife” and gave the glitch demon the drawing, which he cried and still keeps it in his back pocket for safe keeping

Anti will play some Mario Kart and Rock Band with the oldest kids, and he usually lets the kids win in Mario Kart

Sometimes, Marvin and Jackieboy Man will read the kids a bedtime story before they go to sleep because Jackieboy Man does the voices for the characters in the story, while Marvin normally reads the narration part and the kids loves the voices that their uncles give for the story

The egos going to an arcade one night for a fun night on the town

Chase and Anti always competing in the competitive games, and who can beat the other’s high score

Marvin and Jackieboy Man doing several rounds of air hockey because Marvin wins every time and Jackieboy Man refuses to lose, and he just wants to win at least once

Schneep winning as many tickets as he can so he can win the racecar and giant stuffed bear for his kids, but he comes short in the very end

Jameson helps him out and plays a little rinky dink game that gives him several tickets after beating it, and he hands his winning tickets to Schneep so he can get the two prizes for his kids and be a good dad

They go to the go-karts track at the end of the night and they do doubles, instead of singles: Jameson & Anti are a team, Schneep & Chase are paired together, and Jackieboy Man & Marvin are a duo

Chase drives for him & Schneep, Anti drives for him & Jameson, and Jackieboy Man drives for him & Marvin

Anti always purposefully kept bumping into the others’, more importantly into Chase & Schneep, so they don’t win

It was a close one but Marvin & Jackieboy Man wins the race with Chase & Schneep behind as a close second, and Anti & Jameson in last which Chase usually teases Anti that if he weren’t so too busy bumping into his go-kart then maybe he could have won (which makes Anti elbow Chase in the stomach)

Do you think any of the egos have different accents? (I think I've seen you mention Shawn having a Bronx accent before but I'm not sure) I saw someone mention it once and now I'm kinda fond of the idea of Dark with a posh British accent, and someone trying to write an Irish accent using different spelling resulted in Marvin getting a New York accent in my head... - Kata

Oooh ye I do!! I mean there’s obviously Schneep with his German accent, and I do hc that Shawn has a mix of Bronx and Irish, which is…interesting, to say the least. 

Chase would have a California surfer dude accent but still with the Irish, and I think Jackie’s accent would just be pure Irish. Angus has a mix of an Aussie and Irish accent, and that can get really confusing when he talks fast. Jameson’s mute, so no one knows what he sounds like, but I’ve always imagined him having having a British Irish accent.

Marvin with a mixed New Yorker/Irish accent would be cute omg? Same with Dark having a posh British accent? And we all know Anti basically sounds like a demonic glitchy Jack.

I’ve always imagined Robbie sounding like baby Jack (like when he was 23 and he first started his channel) but way more soft-spoken, and he also has the same Irish accent, but it can have a little bit more of a drawl bc of how slowly Robbie speaks sometimes.

in celebration of Jack getting drunk off his fucking ass, could you write something with the septicegos being drunk? Whether they're hc's or a story

This was, in short, a terrible idea. 

Chase disappeared after getting near blackout drunk and while they all still had the state of mind to feel somewhat concerned, they didn’t go chasing after him. 

haha. chasing after chase.

“And I said- stick it to em!” Jackie is laughing as Anti spaces in again.“You what!?” Marvin howls, and Anti can’t really figure out why this is such a funny story. 

There’s a garbled mess of what may be words to his right and Anti realizes with a pang of sympathy they got fucking Robbie drunk.Why did they let Robbie drink? He has a hard enough time while sober.

“And then I gave him a good wallop!” Angus shouts somewhere else, and Anti hears Schneep’s laughter following it. 

Anti decides, suddenly, he wants to order McDonalds.

Hc that once Dark came rushing in the septicegos home with his bleeding s/o in tears begging Sneep to help who is very professional about it.Months later Dark comes in with unconscious Schneep's s/o in his arms,his suit jacket folded into a pillow and tells Schneep what happened and the injuries he needed to know to help you(which are very minimal)because even though he hated someone w/antis face(or anyone)seeing his soft side he neverforgets and cares about being even,looking out for them since

The Septic-Egos would be on the defensive when Dark first comes in, but Schneeple acts very professional. Taking Dark’s S/O carefully and laying them down on his medical table. Allowing Dark to observe, knowing he’d be more unstable if he was left outside the medical room. No doubt destroy the house if Anti started prodding.  

But when he comes in with Schneeple’s S/O, they are instantly on the offensive. Anti and Jackaboyman are the first to attack, but Schneeple quickly intervenes. Explaining that the injuries weren’t from Dark. Though he’s emotional about his S/O being hurt, he’s thankful for Dark’s help. 

It’s all business between them. A constant circle of debts and repayments.
