hehehehehe im gonna tell you about my (for now) abandoned scorpius fic idea :]

when he was first mentioned to be a demon working with closeknit i kind of assumed hed be at least a little bit aligned with their views OR that hed be able to feed off of their d(a)emon hatred- so i made him a sadism demon with a particular enjoyment in making this memory modification victims hateful and vindictive as a little snack

obv now that hes appeared and i was proven wrong (and i LOVE LOVE LOVE the scorpius we have so much btw hes perfect to me) my little freak of nature creepy scorpius has gone to the bins :((

heres the disjointed little bit i Did write though because i like u

"I hope, one day, I find someone that loves me as much as I would have loved you." Elliott said through gritted teeth, like being in that same room was painful for him. But his expression wasn’t even close to sad. He wasn’t looking at them with bleeding heartstrings through eyes full of tears.

"I hope so, too." They replied, focused more on playing the part they were given than on the fact that they'd never seen him so angry.

Elliott looked at them for a long moment, and they swore there was something in his eyes. Something a hair's breadth away from the love and adoration they'd grown used to. Then, like they were a bug stuck to his windshield, "Go fuck yourself, sunshine."

Long, inhuman fingernails carded through their hair, so unlike Elliott’s hands, but exactly how he used to do it. They watched Blake pace on the other side of the door, feeling a bit numb to whatever this demon was about to do to them. They’d never met a demon before him, so they couldn’t tell if being afraid he’d kill them was prejudiced or not. The part of their brain that always filed away questions to ask Elliott fired, and it took a lot of mental energy not to crumble knowing they wouldn’t get to ask.

“You’re so…” One of those inhuman fingers crooked under their chin, turning their face. “Sad.” The demon had plastered himself against their legs, close to the floor but so massive he could reach their face with ease. “Why are you so sad? You like it when he touches your hair like that.”

“I don’t remember your name.” They sat in front of him, a struggle when he was as clingy as an octopus.

“Scorpius.” He said, and it echoed between their ears, Just like Brachium did. Scorpius’ mouth moved, like he was trying to speak vocally but couldn’t quite remember how- it was a morbidly adorable mimicry of humanity. “Like the stars.” He pulled them by their ankles, grip a bit uncomfortably tight. “And you’re Sunshine, so you’re a star, too. Kind of.”
