I’m currently drawing a shadowhunters hunger games crossover for the hell of it and my brain just had to make a story out of it. Like, literally, why can’t I just draw things and leave them alone.
Literally had the thought that, what if Alec and Clary were picked, and Jace made Alec promise to bring Clary home for him, and Alec being Alec doesn’t care about his own life so long as Jace is happy blah blah blah.
But then, he gets to the Capitol and sees the male competitor from District 8, and he’s all done up in glitter and bright clothes, but there’s something dangerous behind his eyes that Alec just can’t look away from.
They get to the arena. Alec gets separated from Clary. He gets found by Magnus and begs for a quick death, but Magnus figures he’s gonna have a better chance of surviving if he makes an alliance and has basically a human shield until the final few. Plus, he saw a few of Alec’s kills at the beginning of the game and knows Alec is a crack shot so he helps Alec, the two start to get closer and it starts to become hard as the weeks go on (because this is book logic and the games in the books go on for waaaay longer than that one in the movie) to keep thinking about Alec as the enemy he’s going to have to kill.
God the drama my head makes up. How is this going to end brain? Just how? Either Clary bites it and Alec goes home to a miserable Jace. Or Alec decides when he sees Clary as one of the last three to take Magnus out himself and then just leaves himself open for Clary to take care of because he knew he wouldn’t be able to live with the guilt of killing both Magnus and Clary.
