Unexpected
Explicit | 2.3k words
Written for @r-ahh-mi , with minimal editing.
A usual occurrence in the Alderson household of two (being Elliot and Qwerty) was morphine and Suboxone, he couldn’t have one without the other. A typically shitty occurrence, however, was doing the morphine and running out of Sub on the same day. Naturally, a quick call and forty bucks later he would be set.
This time, a quick call and a hundred later, turned into something else.
Elliot had agreed to let Shayla come in, feed Qwerty, drop his drugs, and leave. Shayla was to arrive at the apartment no later than 12:30 pm and leave at 12:45 pm, money in hand and no substance on her.
Elliot paced around his apartment, money in one hand and his phone in another, his high beginning to wear off and the withdrawal symptoms beginning to set in. He decided to go lay down on his couch to rest before the symptoms became worse.
Shayla arrived at his apartment at 1:24 pm with his morphine and Sub on hand. He tried to hand her the money, but she waved it away.
“On the house.”
“No, Shayla. Not doing that. This is just a regular drug deal, like it always is.”
Shayla walked over to Qwerty’s bowl and dropped a few pellets of food into his water before turning and slumping down into one of Elliot’s armchairs.
“You look like you’ve been having a shitty day. Don’t worry about it. I’ll just charge you double next time.”
He eyed her suspiciously, taking the full bottle of Suboxone and pulling out two pills.
“Thanks.”
He swallowed them down and she reached into her pocket and pulled out two joints and a lighter.
“Wanna smoke? It’s molly.”
Elliot turned and walked back to the couch, laying back down to where he was comfortable.
“Alright.”
She smiled and lit her joint, taking in a deep breath. Gray smoke poured out of her mouth and she took another hit of the joint, getting up to walk over and hand it off to Elliot, who lazily took it between his teeth and took a breath in.
The smoke burned his lungs, and he let out a slow breath.
“Shayla, where’d you get this?”
She shrugged and sat on the couch next to him, taking it back for a moment for another hit.
“Vera gave it to me, for getting all the morphine from him.”
Elliot took the joint back, finishing off the joint before stubbing it in the ashtray next to his couch.
They sat like that for an hour, both blissfully high, Elliot a little more than usual, when Shayla reached her hand up to grab his.
“Elliot?”
“Hmm?”
She got up on her knees and looked at him, her glassy eyes focused mostly on his face, and he sat up to meet her eye level.
“Have I ever told you that you have wonderful eyes?”
Elliot shrugged.
“Never mentioned it before.”
Before he could finish, her lips were on his, and he pushed her away.
“Shayla.”
She grabbed the back of his neck and he got up, pushing himself off of the couch. She stood up and followed him.
“Elliot, what’s wrong?”
He turned around and she was right in front of him, and she placed a hand on his chest.
“Shayla, we can’t. If Vera finds out-”
“He won’t, El.”
“Shayla, this is a one-time thing, okay?”
“Shut up and kiss me already.”
Her hands went to his neck, and she pulled him close.
One chaste kiss turned into another, and then he was kissing her back with as much passion as she was giving, and her hand slipped to the collar of his shirt. She was pulling at the fabric, not willing to break the kiss just yet, and his shirt slipped over his head and off. As soon as the fabric was out of the way, she pressed her lips back to his neck, sucking a mark into his neck. A soft breath escaped his lips, and she smirked.
“How long?”
“Too long.”
He grabbed her waist, moving them back towards the bed, his lips finding hers again as he laid her down on the mattress. Her tongue traced his bottom lip, and he opened up for her, his lips moulding against her own.
She rolled them over, quickly getting on top and sitting up to straddle him, her hands moving to pull her shirt over her head. Elliot froze in place as she reached around her back to undo her bra, pulling the straps down her shoulders and tossing the thing away from her.
Elliot looked between her breasts and her face, and she blushed, grabbing one of his hands to bring to one of her breasts.
“You can touch me, Elliot.”
She let go of his hand, and he reached up with his other hand to cup her other breast, gently rolling his palms over her chest, and he keened at the touch of her soft skin.
“Shayla.”
“Hush.”
She began to roll her hips against his, and he let out a pathetic whine.
He was beginning to grow hard, his skin flushed with sweat and every touch left him burning. He couldn’t where she began and he ended, but he thought that was the drugs making him fuzzy.
Shayla pulled his hands off of her and she climbed off of him, making haste in pulling his jeans off of his legs, and he pushed the waistband of his boxers down, freeing himself.
She moved to remove the rest of the fabric off of him, and before he could comprehend what was going on, her mouth was on his cock, sucking his tip so deliciously his toes curled and he whined.
“Fuck, Shayla.”
She looked up at him and winked before sinking down further on his member, pulling him all the way into her mouth, and sucking him down.
“Shayla.”
She didn’t spend too much time sucking him off, she pulled off once he started to react, and he bit his lip and raised an eyebrow.
“I don’t want you to cum from that, El.”
She pulled her shorts and panties down in one swoop and she crawled back onto the bed, straddling him once again.
“You got any condoms?”
She shook her head and grabbed him, lining herself up.
“On the pill.”
She sank down onto his cock, and both of them let out a quiet moan of relief.
Elliot reached up to grab her hips, holding her still for a moment. Such incredible, tight heat was wrapped around his cock, and he had to still her before he came just like that, which would’ve been embarrassing for both parties. He took a few deep breaths, and Shayla watched as his face went from embarrassment to pure pleasure.
“Elliot, it’ll feel better if I move.”
He nodded and let go of her hips.
She placed a hand on his chest for leverage and rolled her hips, bringing herself up just to fall back down and she let out a soft moan.
“Oh my god, Elliot.”
Elliot grabbed her hips again, this time just to have his hands on her.
Skin slapping skin, their moans, and the gentle creaking of the mattress filled the apartment, the only light illuminating them was a streetlamp filtering in through the dirty window. Shayla Nico, his drug dealer and one of his two only friends, was riding his cock like it was the end of the world and this would be the last thing she would experience. Elliot, hazed and drugged, could only lay and take in the pleasure that was pulsing through his veins and making his toes curl.
She clawed at his skin, crying out when he tried to adjust their position. He froze, but she grabbed his shoulder, nails digging into his skin.
“No, El, again.”
He rolled his hips up and into hers, and she cried out again. Her nails were leaving marks in his skin, and this time he didn’t mind.
The change in positions had them both rutting against each other, Elliot now whimpering against her neck.
“Fuck, Shay, ‘m close.”
“El, please. More.”
He rolled them over, pinning Shayla against the mattress with his hips, thrusting with abandon into her, and her nails dragged down his back and latched onto his waist, her moans quickly turning into whimpers, and he quickly attached his lips to her neck, sucking bruises into her skin.
She reached a hand between them, her fingers finding her clit and rubbing circles into the sensitive nub.
She came first, her back arching off of the mattress, and Elliot followed a few thrusts after, burying himself deep inside of her as his orgasm washed over him in waves.
They laid together in post-coital bliss, and Elliot laid his forehead on her chest for a moment, trying to catch his breath. Shayla ran her fingers up and down his spine soothingly, smiling down at him.
She pressed a quick kiss to his hair, and he looked up at her.
“Shayla?”
“Hmm?”
He pressed a quick kiss to her lips, and she looked away from him.
“One-time thing, El.”
He nodded and slowly pulled out of her, hissing as the cold air hit his skin.
Shayla got up first, walking slowly to his bathroom and grabbing a washcloth. She ran it under the warm tap and cleaned herself up well. She rinsed it under the tap again, bringing it back for Elliot to clean up with.
Elliot took the cloth with a glance down and he cleaned himself up, but when he got up, he hissed.
“God, Shayla. You need to cut your nails.”
She shrugged and laid down on the mattress again, and when he returned, she was already asleep.
He picked up the second joint and lit it for himself, taking in a deep breath.
Don’t ever make decisions when you’re on morphine.
~*~
Shayla hadn’t been around for three months. The drugs she had given Elliot had long ran out at that point, and forced sobriety wasn’t something he’d see happening, but he had already been off of the morphine for two weeks and the world hadn’t imploded, so he went about his business.
He was in the middle of a wipe out when someone started to bang on the door.
“Elliot, open the fuck up. We need to talk.”
He hesitated, staring at the door with the drill in his hand, looking like a deer in the headlights for a moment, and the person behind the door began to bang on the door again.
“Elliot, I’m serious.”
Shayla.
“Fuck.”
He didn’t mean to say it out loud, but it came out of his mouth, and he dropped the drill on his desk, unsure of how to approach. He gently turned the handle of the door and was met with Shayla, her face puffy and eyes red from crying, though one side of her face was suspiciously redder than the other.
She fell forward and wrapped her arms around Elliot, sobbing into his chest.
“We need to talk.”
Elliot gently closed the door and stood still for a moment, wondering whether or not it would be rude to push her off. He finally wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
“Hey, it’s okay. You can talk to me.”
She nodded and looked up, wiping her eyes on the sleeve of her sweatshirt, which looked like it didn’t fit as well as it did before. She let go of him and walked over to the couch, sitting down and bringing her knees up to her chest.
Elliot filled up a cup of water for her and brought it over.
“What’s wrong, Shayla?”
She shrugged and sipped on the water, grimacing at the taste.
“You need a filter.”
“Shayla.”
She nodded and bit her lip.
“Vera found out about our excursion.”
Elliot clenched his fists, and she looked down.
“And?”
“Well, Elliot, I can’t put it any more bluntly than I’m pregnant…?”
It came out more as a question than a statement, but those two words sat heavy over Elliot as it took him well over a minute to process what she had just said. He got up to pace in front of the coffee table, rubbing a hand on his chi
“What the fuck does that mean, Shayla? You’re pregnant? How? I-I mean we, we didn’t, did we? Oh, fuck me.”
“Elliot, that’s how we got in this situation.”
“Shayla!”
She flinched back, and he took a step back from her.
He began to pace the floor in front of the coffee table. His hands were shaking, his heart racing, and the blood was rushing behind his ears.
“I-I can’t, how would you, you expect me to, I-I can’t even take care of myself!”
Shayla nodded solemnly, and in a complete turn of nature, Elliot moved to sit next to her. He took her hand into his lap, and he held it.
“Vera said I can’t keep it.”
“I can’t raise it, Shayla.”
She squeezed his hand.
“You still deserve to know.”
He nodded and bit his lip.
“Now what?”
She stood up and let go of his hand.
“Goodbye, Elliot.”
~*~
Darla Nicole Alderson was brought into the world on May twelfth, weighing a mere five pounds, six ounces, twenty inches long, and bold, bright eyes just like her father.
Her mother held her for five short minutes, and her father for three, for she was to be handed off to Mr. James Smith and his wife Mrs. Kay Smith, the family who would be adopting their child.
In those three minutes, Elliot could only stare down at his newly born daughter, too stunned with emotion for any words.
Shayla had left a letter with a few pictures for her daughter to know where she came from when she grew up.
Elliot stayed with Shayla for the rest of the night, and in the morning when Shayla was released, the two parted ways like nothing had ever happened.

You’re a plumber. Right, Steve? You’ve had, what, 60 years at life? That’s the best you can come up with? Literally cleaning shit for a living? I’m 27, and I’ve got a six-figure salary at the biggest conglomerate in history, and I’m just getting started. That’s who I am.
