My Danganronpa Opinion Tier-list (With rankings, EX./10 and reasons why they're ranked that way below.) (I've only played the first two games, so the V3 ones might not be accurate.)

Kiyotaka Ishimaru - AMAZING CHARACTER, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, LITERALLY KIN HIM SO MUCH, love the VA, hated his death and trial. - 10/10

Mondo Owada - He's also the best, I love his design, his character, his VA, his motive, his trial, his execution was kinda.... BUT I STILL LOVE MONDO - 10/10

Sonia Nevermind - She's so funny and her ftes are great! So good and love her in trials. Great VA, sondam is awesome. - 9/10

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu - Great Ch.Development after chp2 love him so much. - 9/10

Gundham Tanaka - I love him SO MUCH he's amazing and funny and his execution made me cry alot. Sondam for life - 9/10

36. Celestia Ludenburg - She's pretty cool, trash motive, lied about Taka. That's the reason she isn't higher. 5.9/10

37. Toko Fukawa - A bit creepy, weird, but I still like her. Glad she survived tho tbh. - 5.8/10

38. Tenko Chabashira - Idk her charcater, I just know her "degenerate male" thingy, which is... interesting... no hate tho - 5.7/10

39. Mukuro Ikusaba - Wish she was in THH longer! OMG FAKE-JUNKO WAS SO COOL! Didn't see enough of her to rate higher. - 5.6/10

40. Izuru Kamakura - Cool concept, overrated tho- 5.5/10

41. Junko Enoshima - Cool ch. shit motive. Killed my faves- 5.3/10

42. Imposter/"Byakuya" - Good in SDR2 but didn't see enough of him :( - 5.2/10

43. Usami/Monomi - Cute mascot but I skipped her ALL of her dialogue because she annoyed TF out of me. - 5.1/10

44. Tsumugi Shirogane - GREAT VA but, I kinda don't know what to think about her. - 5.1/10

Neutral:

45. Yasuhiro Hagakure - A bit of a silly-billy, I dunno how he survived. He's closer to like than dislike tho. 5/10

46. Kirumi Tojo - She has the same VA as Hiyoko. HOW. Anyways, talented VA, cool execution, wish we got to see more of her tho. 5/10

47. Monodam - Apparently not as bad at the other ones? Byakuyas VA- 5/10

Neutral-Dislike:

48. Angie Yonaga - PRETTY DESIGN, GREAT VA, still not sure about her tho tbh... 4.6/10

49. Mahiru Koizumi - Boring, annoying, complains alot tbh, had great potential which wasn't used well. - 4.4/10

50. Teruteru Hanamura - Kinda... interesting. Surprisingly humane motive. I actually prefer him to Mahiru now... 4.3/10 (changed to 4.5/10)

Dislike:

51. Miu Iruma - There's alot to say about this girl... uh... 4.2/10

52. Hiyoko Saionji - Insufferable. I hate her, WHINY AND ANNOYING, I skipped all her dialogue. 3/10

53. Hifumi Yamada - I hate him, but I put him in this category bc why not. Skipped all of his dialogue, he annoyed me so much. I ignored him. He killed Taka for no reason. 2.5/10 because he was helpful in one trial.

HATE:

All the Monokubs, except I forgot their names. Incest weirdos, no point in the whole thing. 2/10

Curious: what are your general thoughts on the mainline Danganronpa games (Trigger Happy Havoc, Goodbye Despair, Ultra Despair Girls, Killing Harmony)? Like which one’s your favorite/least favorite, etc?

Ooh fun!! I do have lots of thoughts. I guess I’ll do them in order of fave to least fave. Under a readmore because I had too much to say

SDR2 - BRILLIANT, absolute pinnacle. I think the main reason sdr2 works so well is that it understands most players will be returning from THH so it ramps the tension up to 11 right from the get go by revealing that everyone has lost memories straight away. Most of the murders are really cool, trial 5 is the best one in the series, obvz. The island setting is nice too, it’s very different from the first game but not in a way that is too jarring. Oh and the cast is the best I think. Obviously I have issues with Hanamura but they have the sense to kill him straight away so no biggie. My only other character issue is that I really wish they did more with Owari, she’s kind of nothing and that’s sad. Also tragic that Saionji didn’t get her character arc :(( OH AN TSUMIKI NEEDS TO NOT FALL OVER SO MUCH THATS STUPID

Komaeda is there and he is the most interesting and coolest character ever. +100000000 points

UDG: okay okay, controversial for me to put it so high I KNOW. It’s got so so so many problems and yet….it compels me. I love Komaru, she is my favourite protag and I always liked Fukawa, so it’s nice to see her sort of come into her own and get to be a bit of a hero. UM THE MUSIC IS THE BEST. I like when it goes YEAH YEAH YEAH. I also actually really like the setting of Towa city? It’s cool to see the effects the tragedy had on the world as a whole, and it’s fun to explore. Gameplay is messy, but I don’t hate it, I have played much worse.

I had a lot of issues with the warriors of Hope in general and do wish they stuck with the initial plan of having the remnants of despair be the boss fights. Sigggghhhhhh, so upset that it was taken from us. That would have been the COOLEST.

Wish the tickle machine wasn’t in it. Wish the pedophile was dead. Wish Kotoko didn’t fall down so much. Wish Fukawa toned it down with the incest jokes.

I need servant carnally.

THH: THE OG MY BELOVED. I have a lot lot lot of nostalgia for this one, it’s very soft to me, I feel like I grew up in hopes peak lol. For serious though, Hopes peak is a cool af setting, it’s such a weird school and the art direction is absolutely stunning. I mentioned in a previous ask that it’s probably a bit too slow going, but it’s fair because this really was the first game of its kind and they have to tell you how to play it.

The reACT mechanic is funny and useless. I am glad they got rid of it, but it makes me laugh when I see it.

I love all the characters, they are like children to me. I even like Yamada, it’s the truth. I think they majority of characters are more toned down in this game, which is to its benefit I would say. Some characters in later games are a Bit Much.

I also like all the motives! They actually make sense??? And it’s the only game where Monokuma doesn’t cheat with a, “kill before arbitrary time limit or everyone dies” which is the worst motive and I hate it.

The Fujisaki problem is very present, unfortunately. I still don’t think they were meaning to be offensive anyway, but ya know. I’m pretty chill with any interpretation, but I usually consider them a transwoman

V3 : Hm. I do not like. The school is very very big and so easy to get lost in, where the first two games feel very distinct and easily navigable. It’s also not much different than Hope’s Peak, which is a little boring.

I want to punt the Monokubs into a volcano. V3 feels even slower and longer than THH and I blame them. They talk so much and so often and it never progresses anything and UGH.

I’m iffy on way more characters. Like I mentioned before they can be a Bit Much. I’m meaning your Tenkos and Mius. They have One thing, and that’s all they do and are, which is uninteresting and ANNOYING. It feels like so many of them have been boiled down to one trait, even characters I like such as Tsumugi and Himiko are like that, but their trait is less loud so it doesn’t annoy me so much.

Motives are stupid and dumb almost always. Hate them. Fucking necronomicon makes me want to chew glass.

The protag switch is cool. I like it, but I miss Kaede every single day.

The ending I do not like. It would be a whole five more paragraphs for me to explain my issues in full, but it sort of betrays it’s own messaging and renders the rest of the game meaningless (at least in my opinion)

Cospox makes me want to die

The music and UI are very good though!!

i agree w absolutely everything u said. she's been my fav ever for years and i have so many in depth thoughts abt how she could function on relationships w like. most of the girls. i could probably make a chart if i figured out a format.

chiakane soooo crazy. never been my main ship but ill consider anything. they r most interesting from a doomed standpoint to me...... akane as a remnant vs chiaki's existence as ai and (counting dr3 as canon which im not usually interested in doing) death before the tragedy. i think of them in almost a similar vein to the tragedy between madoka and homura except if homura was replaced by a kyoko who's a little worse w emotions. chiaki's entire being has become dedicated in one way or another to serving class 77 even if that means sacrificing herself over and over and akane has had every single meaningful relationship (or what SHOULD have been) ripped away or twisted and never having even really existed and she is so afraid of going through this again she doesn't even try and have relationships she cares about deeply (or at all!) that aren't w her siblings. so she would be PISSED to fall in love w chiaki who is already dead and doomed to die again. ive never believed the mastermind akane theory people talk abt at least fully but it IS interesting. i can make a killer chiakane au w it. w madoka magica parallels even. but ur right they can also be very very sweet. i think they would play super smash bros and akane would kinda suck at it (spams the buttons and thinks it's a pro strategy) but chiaki would let her win every once or twice. akane hears the rumours abt chiaki dating some random reserve course guy and sends the "im so happy for you and your ugly fucking boyfriend I'm serious" text after swearing to herself she doesn't even gaf

that's uh. that's a lot. im so sorry can you tell i have autism. this isn't even my favourite ship for either of them ask me about pekokane and i start growling like a rabid dog.

YES yes yes yes!! I am a HUGE Akane fan. She's the only character I have a real little collection of merch for (though that's partly just because so much merch excludes Mukuro). I didn't really attach to her the first time I played SDR2 but over time I've grown SO fond and defensive of her, she is such a sad and complex character who deserved to be treated better by her writers (and have less racist tropes associated with her. Spike Chunsoft. cough cough) and still deserves to be treated better by the fandom.

And I think you got it RIGHT on the money why I'm inclined towards Chiaki/Akane, actually. Akane has lived such a dark life that not only does she not know how to ask for help or rely on others, she doesn't even realize she needs to - for her, this is just how the world is. Akane, to me, is like the equivalent of a housecat looking at their humans and going, "They don't even know how to hunt. They're all so stupid. I have to go kill mice so they can eat. Are they even bathing themselves properly?? Licking time. Morons." She's incredibly resilient and smart within the context of the VERY SPECIFIC lifestyle she's lived.

And something really appeals to me about someone who solely exists to help people meeting Akane, thinking they can 'save' her, and slowly coming to realize that she is not dumb or unskilled just because she isn't skilled in the way they value. Learning that intelligence isn't a measure of worth and seeing & valuing Akane for who she is - and, at the same time, helping her see that some of the things she's gone through are truly, deeply traumatic, and helping her learn how to rely on others for the first time...that shit gets me. 35. A character who should’ve got more character development?

like. sooooo many of them lol. can i say the entire cast of v3? because honest to god that's my answer -- even my faves in v3 leave Something to be desired

beyond that, i actually think that thh and gbd do a really good job of stretching characters to their maximum narrative utility before killing them off, and i do feel like in both games the most narratively flexible ones are the ones who live. i think if i had to say anyone from those games it'd probably be leon or sayaka just because the way the free time events work in trigger happy havoc work mean they get like three events and then they die and you never get to know more lmfaoo (but even then i still don't think their characters are Lacking in the way that the v3 cast is for me. sorry for being a v3 hater lol)

39. Smartest murder plan?

komaeda's, obviously LMFAO. god every time i replay sdr2 chapter 5 im struck by it all over again. like they literally had to guess!! even with nanami revealing herself! even then! they still had to be like well. hope his luck actually worked out! king popped off and the entire trial is SO good for advancing the plot and tying off hinata's dynamics with BOTH komaeda and nanami! the moment of sickening clarity when hinata realizes that he DOES understand how komaeda's brain works, and knows what his intentions really were? nanami and hinata's final goodbye? uuuugh sdr2 chapter 5 i love youuuuu.

47. A headcanon you have about a character?

*pushes two million unfinished drafts of Togami Headcanons to the side* i am going to talk about komaru. i think she's a butch lesbian and every time she's depicted as feminine in fanart my soul dies a little even though butch komaru exists solely in my head. i also think she's really sporty, but i've talked about that elsewhere hehe.

ok i'll talk about togami a little bit. it's 100% projection but i think he's agender. not in a way where he like. actively thinks about it -- even at Full Self-Actualization i'm not sure if i ever see him actually realizing it and actively thinking about himself in that way -- but i just dont think he as any particular connection to being a *man* outside of how it plays into his attraction to other men/his family's expectations of producing heirs. like he just kind of is how he is and doesn't feel compelled to make any particular effort to present as masculine. i could make a joke here about his gender just being Togami, but genuinely i do think that rings true. he's not a boy or a girl but a secret third thing (byakuya togami™️) does this make sense. like. to anyone (<- projecting and insane) whatever. i think he would look nice in a floor length skirt.

48. Favourite OST?

i... usually play the games on silent :X legit i know like 3 songs including mr monokumas lesson. just tried to remember what beautiful days sounded like and the wii sports theme is what my brain supplied (<- embarrassed)

i WILL say that i think drv3 has the best opening track of any of the games. its so jazzy and fun hehe

51. Character you thought you were gonna dislike but loved in the end?

mmm. hard to say, honestly? it's been so many years since i formed first impressions of the thh and gbd casts that i kind of dont even remember what i first thought of them? i have a lot of v3 characters who i thought i would like and wound up feeling kind of ehh about, but that's not the question lol

i think, Big Terrible Writing Choice aside, i was really surprised by how much i wound up actually *liking* korekiyo? like okay OBVIOUSLY they took his character in a terrible direction but before that when he's just like, a weird little freak? that ruled lol

in terms of characters that i've had full turnarounds in opinion over the course of 2012-2022? i remember not particularly liking/caring about kirigiri, sayaka, fukawa, souda, or gundam when i first read the playthroughs of their games, and now they're some of my favorites hehe. but that's less about me going *into* the games thinking i wouldnt like them -- because in both cases i went in completely blind -- and more about them growing on me like a fungus over successive playthroughs lol

56. Best free time events?

ok. take this with a grain of salt because i'm stalled out in my sdr2 replay rn so i haven't redone the free time events for that game in awhile/haven't done any v3 ftes besides maki's and ouma's because im a hater.

i think kirigiri has really good fte's. i love that she gets a little sillay in them and how subtle her progression from "why are you talking to me" to "i care deeply about you" is. i also really appreciate how the game cutting her off as an option for free time at certain points serves to make that progression feel really natural with the game's actual plot. love you miss kirigiri.

mondo's are really great as well, he's such a fun guy to interact with and him talking about wanting to be a carpenter and loving his stupid tiny dog and being too nervous to ask girls out all add such levity to his character and make it SO sad when he dies. like damn that biker gang leader trapped in a murder game really is just like. some guy in high school :-( i also loved that they brought him wanting to be a carpenter back in dr:s! made my heart soar uuuuugh i love you mondo, sorry i never ever talk about you

komaeda gets an honorable mention for his botched love confession. buddy you did So Bad.

83. Least favourite chapter?

chapter 4 of v3 was soooo boring guys. i hated the virtual world and idk if it was just me but the controls for it were just. nightmarish. whatever lets talk about the games i do like.

i also agree with @ovidiomedes about thh's c3 kind of dragging. it's one of my favorite trials, but the actual chapter is. really slow lol. i think part of that is due to the anticipation of chapters 4-6 which are some of my all time favorites across all three games, but i think it has larger narrative problems that contribute to that dragging feeling ://

hii freddy, hope you're doing okay. since you've asked nicely, here are my ratings on dr yuri pairings that ive picked at the top of my head. hope you enjoy ❤💕

well ill start with the first 5 if that's fine, this is very opinionated so sorry if it may seem biased, im just going off on what i remember from the dr series (god i need to revisit the games and the franchise as well iirc, since this is just thh first, sdr2 second, udg, dr3, and then v3 final, and then ill get around to consuming some supplementary materials in a bit so yeah.) sorry for the rambling now i should get to it!

1- celesgiri. my old favourite. its really just a crackship if im being honest as they barely interacted at all, but that makes it so fun afterall, plus their colour palettes both synchronise with each other really well. like lilac lavender purple/dark purple scheme colours synchronised with black and candy red together as well? really good. i really like their designs together, and i think that they're the only detective/liar ship that matters, really.

celestia being a selfish manipulative liar that cares about no one but herself also is fine, although the shit she did do was unjustifiable (lying about the sexual assault thing for money is very fucked up id admit but i can't really hate her. sometimes we need female characters that are huge unrepetant pieces of shit, don't we..?) regardless of what she did, i found the ship interesting back then. (and i still do! even though its for siller reasons.), because of how it clicked to me at first, and how kirigiri is very distrustful and cold and aloof and often doesnt trust others and has very strained relationships with like. naegi for example, and makes paranoia-driven desicions and throws people like him under the bus for example and whatnot, and her having backstory of her being forced to be a detective because of her grandfather after her mother's death, really, and having issues with her dad and hating him as well cause of what he did. and plus! celestia pretending to be someone she's not, along with her selfish and silly dream of wanting to be a queen in a castle to her vampire butler servants is so funny. she didn't even have to sugarcoat what she wants. its nothing more than merely a childish selfish dream, but it's still something she holds in anyways. could be the fact due to the fact that she wishes that she was just as cool as her dream self is, and portrays herself as this evil, selfish tyrant who would backstab others just for one thing she selfishly desires, compared to her real self taeko, who's more quiet, reserves to herself and is sitting alone while her classmates are around and about. i feel like, they're both the kind of secretive and cagey gals?

now, for the less pretentious answer that you're probably looking for it, i shipped it so much cause i loved their designs so much and their colour palettes. their colour palettes look so so tasty. lilac lavender colours contrasted with lilac purple colours shifting to a deep dark purple with orange, contrasted with the simple dull victorian goth black with candy red eyes. its so good. i lov their hairstyles as well. they look soo pretty!! together! i shipped them cause i just wanted 2 see 2 pretty girls kiss together and i really loved their character designs and thought they were so cool back then. so! 8/10 crackship! they're so fun to draw and write about! i could write all of the scenarios for them i could muster about. been a while. i should draw and create edits about them soon. i really do miss them.

kirizono - ohhh. them. they're a good pairing, not healthy, its very toxic yuri coded, especially with sayaka being a manipulative individual who's very strategic and bases her whole identity on self destruction from an industry that's very competitive, hence her being less of a good person as she grows up as she gives herself away to an industry that eats her from the inside like a parasite. what i do like about the ship is that it's based on two, two people who are cagey for the most opposite reasons, and contrast one another. kirigiri is distrustful for reasons, like parental issues and has some secrets to hold, while sayaka is secretive due to her idol persona, maintained by her idol industry. sayaka is an hollow shell of the person she used to be, as the once lonely child who watched idols on the tv and got her ethics and morals from them, while being young an aspiring died out as she probably learned the horrors of the industry, and did so many horrible shit to keep her existence alive. also not to mention the fact that she's VERY OBSESSIVE AND FIXATIVE on the idea of keeping an strong ideal on her bandmates altogether. i mean.

do you know why she tried to kill leon and frame makoto for murder and stab him in the back for it? do you know why sayaka tried to break makoto's trust for it? it's because she bases and centers her whole life unhealthily, and MANIPULATIVELY to the fucking stage. she cannot trace her entire existence to nothing other than a stage, she has to devote her ENTIRE life to dancing dancing dancing and making an entire career out of it, she has to keep the entire song in her head going. because of the horrors she was exposed towards against HER own will. that's why she was desensitised to the horrors. thats why she has to get up on the stage to make music again. she has to make music again for the others even if it's very twisted. she has to hurt and harm and ruin others lives to make an impact.

she's not a very good person. deep down, she may be a bad person, who's refusing to help herself get better and direct her love for song in a way that doesn't trace back to the industrial capitalist machine that's numbing her slowly inside. she might be as well tearing herself to shreds and setting herself to fire as she continues this fight. maybe she's just as not good of a person as she presents herself out to be. maybe she's a misunderstood mentally ill person who had a horrible life and was not offered help when she desperately needed it the most when she was suffering. ohh my god. kirizono drives me nuts. maybe in another life, kyoko and sayaka could heal and sayaka could be a better person in another life if she was treated right, and probably raised better? her raising is just unhealthy. idk. they make me feel sick.

8.5 out of 10 i love them so much but only on sayaka's part. she makes this pairing so much interesting. sorry. the fucked up mishmash phoenix wright and jeff the killer combo of a girl x just some girl who’s very stoic and purple drives me nuts it’s crazy.

kaeangie- SO CUTE OUTSIDE OF CANON!!! angie was portrayed in a very racist, orientalist manner unfortunately by kodaka, and her portrayal of an indigenous polynesian woman was very horrid. never again. if you like completely separate it from the very racist, orientalist portrayal of her character and her indigenity and her faith as a whole, it's so much more refreshing and better as a pairing for real. i love this ship because of how fun and colourful it really is, and angie trying her very best to like maintain a cheerful environment within the killing game (as she herself is very stressed and paranoid to an extent i bet.) they would have a really good dynamic! i like the idea of angie having insomnia and crying to kaede about a very valid and reasonable concern she has (for example, her being scared that her friends might die, her having a nightmare again, etc.) and kaede coming to comfort her. its very good. also angie telling kaede about her culture and her indigenous heritage that's implied (but not in a good way due to the game's portrayal of it.) such a good ship omg. 10/10. i luv it so much.

soniakane- soniakane is so so good also. its way much better than soniaki. nanami is not even a good character. sorry. she could be better. sorry if this opinion about her makes you feel bad but i cannot get myself behind to like soniaki at all. although i really do like soniakane for example. such an interesting concept for yuri because of the dynamic of a person who lived in poverty presumably trying her very best to live 4 herself..in this fucked up loveless environment, vs princess who came from another country has to learn the perspective of a what akane has to go through, and definitely sympathising with her as she's definitely a nice person even if i dont care about sonia's character that much. such a good pairing. need to rehash my very foggy memory of the sdr2 plot, since the last time i fixated on sdr2 was at 13 years old? in 2018? i don't know. need to revisit it again.

this is.....genuinely a hard question, lmao, like i said it's been a minute since i played the games so i'm trying to think about which ones i enjoyed playing the most-- despite my grievances with v3, i do think the twist in the first chapter is still delightfully devastating and fun to play through (even though i'd actually known about said twist when i finally got around to playing this game lmao). i also remember going through a period where i really enjoyed replaying/watching the chapter two and three trials in sdr2? ik chapter three trials can be a bit divisive in this series but as a mikan stan i just really enjoy seeing her go feral lmao. she can have a little murder and be a little manipulative bastard for a bit, as a treat. also, the part twilight syndrome plays in the chapter two makes it a fun one to experience, it's a two for one murder mystery and i just think that's Neat :3

8. Least favourite character?

y'know, as much as perverted characters have grown on me since my time in the dr fandom, i'm just never gonna get over my beef with teruteru, lmao. honestly i think it's about principle at this point ghlkdsjf. i also never really came around on tsumugi tbh, which is not entirely her fault, i just.....did not like many of the ending twists of v3 and unfortunately she was a very big part of that :')

Danganronpa tier listttttt

Idk if people know how I feel about these characters, so here ya go! This is my opinion, please don’t attack me for this (also I only did this for the mainline games and Komaru + the Warriors of Hope)

...Also I wanted to go into detail on some of these so yeah Warning: it does get pretty rambly

S tier

...I don’t really feel like I need to explain any of these. MOVING ON

A tier

Chiaki Nanami Please don’t kill me for not putting her in S. I can explain, I promise Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adore her and love her relationship with Hajime, but I didn’t really get as attached to her as I did with other characters. I still love her though

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu He has one of the best character arcs in the series, only JUST being outranked by Shuichi. Seriously, best SDR2 survivor, hands DOWN.

Ultimate Imposter Yep. Fake Togami outranks actual Togami by miles. YEAH I SAID IT! Idk, I found them a lot more interesting and likeable than Togami and it was a real shame they got killed off so early. They were pretty fun.

Ryoma Hoshi ...Do I even need to explain why he ranked so high? Like, come ON! He’s one of the most underrated characters in the franchise!

Hajime Hinata 3rd best protag for me (yes I’m counting Kaede shut up), but I still love his arc.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru He was my fave from the first game for a while, but the Kiyondo stuff kinda brought him down for me. And ngl, at times it feels like people only judge him based on his friendship with Mondo. I still love him though.

Mondo Owada Chapter 2. Need I say more. He’s a pretty cool character outside of that, too.

Komaru Naegi Just copy-paste my reason for Ryoma, it’s practically the same.

Nagisa Shingetsu Best Warrior of Hope. Hands down. I will die on this hill.

Kotoko Utsugi Despite being beaten out by Nagisa, I still adore her. She deserves the best.

B tier

Maki Harukawa Okay don’t get me wrong, I like her as a character, but the main problem I had was that her crush on Kaito kinda came out of left field for me. Like, she was a stoic unfeeling assassin and she suddenly fell head over heels for some astronaut that knocked on her door a few times. It feels pretty rushed (though knowing Tsumugi it probably was) and kinda brings her down a few pegs for me.

Korekiyo Shinguji “Why is he ranked so high!? He’s the freaky incest guy-” SHUT UP. Yes, his character was absolutely obliterated by the incest twist, but outside of that he is actually a pretty compelling character. (also if you look into his writing it’s pretty heavily implied that his sister used and abused him so judging him based on the incest thing alone is kinda odd ngl)

Ibuki Mioda She’s pretty fun. I’m not as head-over-heels for her as other people, but she’s pretty fun.

Celestia Ludenberg See, Ouma stans? THIS is how you do a compelling liar character!

Peko Pekoyama Please don’t kill me. It’s just that outside of Fuyuhiko she kinda felt......Eh? Like don’t get me wrong, I like her, but something always felt missing for me.

Nagito Komaeda My favourite antag didn’t even make A tier whoops- Yeah, Nagito is the best rival for me, but I’m not as head-over-heels for him as the rest of the fandom is.

Leon Kuwata PLAY HIS FREE TIME EVENTS.

Kiibo The “that’s robophobic!” joke kinda got old after the billionth time, but other than that he’s fun.

Aoi Asahina Her development is cool, but I don’t really have much to say on her honestly.

Sonia Nevermind Same reason as Aoi, but her relationship with Gundham is pretty cute.

Jataro Kemuri This kid deserves better and needs protection. ...I don’t have much other than that, though.

Monaca Towa This is gonna be controversial, but Monaca is the best villain of the franchise for me. Sure, she’s far from being one of my favourite characters, but she’s menacing and enough of a threat to be a great antagonist.

C tier

Kyoko Kirigiri Please don’t kill me. Like...She’s okay, but for a while I found her kinda......Dull? Idk what to say here.

Makoto Naegi He’s alright, but he’s the weakest protagonist for me.

Tsumugi Shirogane I think people are gonna agree with me the most on this. She’s a decent villain, but the "plainy plainy plain” stuff got REALLY old. (which is partially why I rewrote her entirely in DFTH oops) She’s better than Junko by a long shot, so at least she has that.

Kirumi Tojo She was okay until the nonsensical prime minister twist. Seriously, I detest that twist.

Angie Yonaga ...I don’t really have much to say on her. Like the Atua stuff got pretty old and I found her kinda annoying, but she has enough to put her above the characters I don’t like.

Mahiru Koizumi She kinda felt like a better Tenko, but...Uh...

Teruteru Hanamura Yeah, I don’t outright dislike Teruteru. Shocking, I know. His backstory and the stuff with his mom is charming enough, but the perverted stuff still kinda icks me out. It’s not as bad as Miu’s, though.

Genocider Syo She’s more interesting than Toko, but still not really that much there other than “serial killer that somehow got accepted into this academy but don’t think about that look how quirky she is!!”

Tenko Chabashira Similar to Angie. But the way she drooled over and chased after Himiko was kinda eeeh for me. Not as bad as Souda though, thank god

D tier

Byakuya Togami God, he’s such an asshole. Sure his development and the stuff he does is interesting, but GOD HE’S SUCH AN ASSHOLE.

Akane Owari She’s the most “why the hell are you still here” out of the survivors for me. Like, I don’t outright hate her, but a lot of the time it kinda feels to me like she’s only there for fanservice. (seriously, in one of her sprites she’s literally flashing you. Do I need to say anything else?)

Himiko Yumeno Yeah, she’s also pretty weak for me. Her development post chapter 3 was okay I guess, but it kinda felt too little too late.

Toko Fukawa Ugh. Sure, I don’t really like Togami, but the way she drools over him is gross. Sure she’s somewhat redeemed by her development in UDG, but other than that she doesn’t really offer much.

Yasuhiro Hagakure Didn’t really felt like he offered much other than “blatant comic relief who’s probably a stoner”.

Masaru Daimon The weakest out of the Warriors of Hope by a long shot. Sure, his backstory’s pretty sad, but his personality kinda grated on me, ngl.

Kokichi Ouma PLEASE DON’T KILL ME. Like, everyone hails him as the best written character of the series, but if you look closer into his writing it’s actually pretty bad. Not to mention the stans constantly excusing his actions because “uwu liar boy who’s gay for Shuichi” REALLY brings him down.

E tier

Kazuichi Souda He’s literally all the things people hate about Teruteru, but the fandom barely calls him out for it! Hooray!

Miu Iruma She’s basically just there for NSFW jokes. Need I say more. Also, why is no-one else talking about how problematic the maintenance scene was?

Nekomaru Nidai He’s basically just there for shit jokes. And that really got old for me.

Sayaka Maizono OKAY PLEASE PUT YOUR PITCHFORKS DOWN AND HEAR ME OUT! Look, I’m not gonna deny she was kinda cute, but what she pulled in chapter 1 was honestly really fucking snakey. “But she didn’t know about the class trial stuff!” So what? She was willing to use practically the only person in the academy she was close to as a fall guy so she could get away with murder and didn’t even bat an eye! Even if the trial stuff didn’t happen and she DID get away with killing Leon, did she really think everyone would be okay with it? Hell, did she even CONSIDER how Makoto felt!? Sayaka is a fucking snake! She literally USED Makoto!!! WHY IS NO-ONE CALLING HER OUT!?!?

F tier

Junko Enoshima ...Do I even need to explain this.

Mikan Tsumiki I really didn’t like her, even BEFORE chapter 3. Yeah, I said it. She kinda got on my nerves and the fact that they were playing her up for fanservice despite her backstory was really gross, and chapter 3 just made everything so much worse. Like, her getting her memories back and killing someone could’ve worked, JUST MAKE HER PLAN MAKE SENSE!

Hiyoko Saionji She’s just a fucking bully. Do I really need to elaborate?

“Now now, no need to stress over it anymore..!” Kazuichi tapped Y/N's shoulder, giving her an assuring smile with his sharp shark teeth. Laying his head on top of the pillow, his hands gesturing Y/N to do the same. ‘He's with me, so why should i be scared?’ Y/N convince herself, slowly getting on her pillow beside her boyfriend.

Trying to be a good partner he is, Kaz slowly hugged her, gently put his hand on her waist, face getting closer to the top of Y/N's head, lips makes a small contact to her forehead.

"Kaz?" Y/N called out to him, just to find that he's already asleep. His mouth agape, drools came dripping to his chin little by little.

"Well, don't want to wake him up again..." Y/N thought, soon closing her eyes to slumber.

Tick tack...

...

Sweet dreams...

....

Dreams? Y/N couldn't even sleep her mind up, and it's totally not from Kazuichi's loud snores, but her mind telling her to not sleep. It's freaking midnight and she can't sleep yet.

With that, Y/N slowly loosening her partner's hand that was on her waist, wiggling her body to get up. Her feet wobbly lands to the wooden floor, and walk up to turn on the bed lamp on the bedside table on Kaz's side of the bed.

...

Already in front of the table, Y/N turning on the bed lamp on the bedside table, and notice an opened rack beneath it.

Curiosity let her, and Y/N checked what's on it. Just to see a... Toy?

It's still not finished yet, as in the metal is still not covering the parts to make the toy work, and screws still easily coming out of it.

"E-eh... What's this shi- WAAAAAAAA" *that one cursed kazuichi sprite*

"KYAA"

"Y-Y/N? It's you right? Oh good..." Kazuichi calmed himself down, taking inhales and exhales his breaths out. Totally not freaked out by what's happening. "What are you doi- Oh, you... found it huh..." Scratching his neck, a little colour red rising on his cheek.

"W-what is it?" Y/N asked, still holding the toy in her hand. "It's... A music box" Kaz lowered his voice out of embarrassment. "A... Music box?" "Yeah, that thing where you turn the key and some music will play? T-that one."

"It was supposed to be for you... You can't sleep, right? I was thinking to make you one, so that y-you can hear songs instead of creepy noises..." Kaz explained in a low voice.

Y/N once again analyzing the so called music box on her hand, ‘H-he made it... For me?’ Y/N thought.

"Sorry to keep it a sec-" Kaz's words were cut off by Y/N's sudden hug, who then gratefully thanked him. "Thank you thank you thank you so much Kaz... I... I appreciate it..." Y/N thanked while tears starting to form little by little. "A-ay there no need to cry about it..." Kazuichi petted Y/N's back.

"Let's sit, since we're awake, i want to ask you about the audios i want to put there..." Y/N quickly sits down beside Kazuichi and smiled happily that her boyfriend cared for her.

Kaz bring his hand on Y/N's shoulder to bring her close to him. "So... I was thinking... What would you like to hear?" "Hmm... Have any ideas?" "How about my moa-" "No. We're not getting on that level of relationship." Y/N quickly glared at him to forbidden him making more inapropriate lines, a simple "Hehe" is all that Kaz answered.

They spend the night talking about their favourite sounds, or just laughing at each other's jokes. And at some point, Y/N is already asleep in his arms.

"Hehe... Sweet dreams my lady..."

Dumb post because Danganronpa is taking over my life - Circle

How the THH and SDR2 characters would manage babysitting (excluding Junko because nobody would trust her with kids)

THH:

Makoto Naegi - trustworthy and reliable, but kind of a pushover. The kids tease him

Kyoko Kirigiri - low-key terrifying even though she never shouts. The kids do what she says. Sometimes Makoto calls her if he needs help controlling the kids: “If you don’t behave, I’m gonna tell Kyoko!”

Leon Kuwata - chill enough for the kids to like him but the pre-teens think he’s a dork. Popular with the small children.

Sayaka Maizono - very popular with kids. Big sister energy. Does makeovers and fake pop concerts with the kids. They’re never in bed on time but they had fun.

Chihiro Fujisaki - good with babies and toddlers, gets pretty nervous around the older kids. Gets teased quite a lot. Good at including the introverts though.

Mondo Owada - super laidback, he doesn’t give a shit if the kids want to eat Skittles for dinner or watch horror movies past their bedtime. Hell yeah, that sounds a great idea, he’s gonna be joining them.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru - a favourite with parents for obvious reasons. Total hardass. You ain’t breaking the rules with him. Gets teased but the kids still obey him.

Hifumi Yamada - pretty popular with kids for his art, will draw for them and get them to draw to keep them occupied. Will make them go to bed as soon as possible so he can have some peace and quiet.

Aoi Asahina - forgets the rules parents give her as soon as they leave the house. Tries to give the kids healthy food but gives them a LOT of donuts too. Bedtimes don’t exist with her. You go to sleep where you dropped from exhaustion.

Byakuya Togami - literally just pays somebody else to do it for him

Sakura Ogami - Queen, parents and kids love her. Gives the best hugs and the best advice.

Celestia Ludenburg - will ignore your children if you have any cats. Bribes children to get them to behave. Obviously hates kids.

Mukuro Ikusaba - regimented, she has a schedule and you keep to it. Usually makes bedtime as early as possible to get the kids out of the way.

Yasuhiro Hagakure - tries his very best but will probably lose one of your kids at some point.

Toko Fukawa - calls all kids brats. Tells them to their faces she hates kids. Will just say no thanks if you try to hire her for babysitting.

SDR2:

Akane Owari - hype. Will raid your fridge and your kids will not be asleep when they’re supposed to be, but they’d have a great time.

Chiaki Nanami - very chill. Plays video games with the kids. Makes great hot chocolate. Bad with bedtimes but still popular with parents.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu - gets teased about his height. Teaches kids new curse words by accident. Makes the kids go to bed while it’s still light out because he’s this close to losing his shit.

Gundham Tanaka - popular with the kids cause of the Dark Devas. Will probably teach the children some great vocabulary but might also teach them about the occult. Tells the best bedtime stories.

Hajime Hinata - raids your booze stash and lets the kids get on with it. Usually isn’t hired twice.

Hiyoko Saionji - gets into fights with the kids. Needs a babysitter of her own honestly.

Ibuki Mioda - kids LOVE her. Bedtimes? What the fuck are those things? May get police called to your house with a noise complaint but your kids will be having fun.

Kazuichi Souda - kids bully him. Can’t keep control. Will cry in your kitchen while your kids run riot.

Mahiru Koizumi - popular with parents. Has a proper schedule. Will make a fuss of your kids, reading them stories and giving them treats.

Mikan Tsumiki - gets bullied too. Can win kids over eventually with her abundance of cool, colourful bandaids. Parents like her because she’s ready for any medical emergencies.

Nagito Komaeda - prefers the naughty kids. Very passive aggressive to parents he doesn’t like. Breaks bedtime and meal rules on purpose.

Nekomaru Nidai - HYPE as fuck. Your kids will have the time of their lives but they will not be going to sleep on time. Cheers on your kids enthusiastically when they play games - even board games.

Peko Pekoyama - quiet and serious, kids seem to respect her and do as she says even though she never shouts. Will offer her services over and over if you have any friendly pets she can stroke.

Sonia Nevermind - popular with kids and parents. Big sister vibes again. Wants to do all the sleepover stuff she never got to as a kid, painting nails and watching movies with popcorn. Terrifies everybody when they tell scary stories.

Teruteru Hanamura - also gets bullied for his height. Is tolerated because he cooks good food.

Twogami - mum friend. The only one who should actually be looking after kids. Wants to adopt everybody. Very popular with parents and children.

I'm not an active hater of NDRV3's Chapter 6. I didn't much care for it, but I know a lot of people actively disliked it, which was not my case. What I actively disliked was the epilogue.

Just now, I thought of an element of the ending I didn't really like, comparing it to how Danganronpa usually ends. All things considered, I think it's also directly due to the epilogue.

Trigger Happy Havoc did a great job of being a legitimate killing game, and it was necessary for Enoshima to die in order for the survivors to escape. At the end of Super Danganronpa 2, on the other hand, the entire cast - mastermind Izuru Kamukura included - survived (Nanami excluded for she had already been killed by a literal terrorist). There was a good reason for that : the goal was to portray characters who grew past a horrible period of their life and had to make amends and reconstruct. This theme appeared to be important in Danganronpa, seeing that the Warriors of Hope survived for very similar reasons.

New Danganronpa V3's victims and killers stay dead. This by itself isn't a problem: it wasn't a problem when THH did it, and another killing game in which everyone survives would undoubtedly have been too much. SDR2's ending was better off staying the odd one out. On the contrary, beloved [...] protagonist Saihara insists that in order to put an end to the killing games, everyone in the trial room must die. This was an entirely new take, and an interesting one.

And then they didn't.

The mastermind was killed, Kiibo self-destroyed for some reason (pretty much in order to kill the cameraman I guess) and the three survivors... Survived again.

Now with the idea that Kiibo "killed the cameraman", I'm tempted to assume that the point of the epilogue was yet another lie - that the in-game public of Danganronpa V3 thinks everyone's dead, even though the truth is that they aren't.

But the whole "lies" thing isn't my favourite part of V3 - at least not of Danganronpa. Most importantly, I'd like to focus on the player's experience of the game, rather than that of a fictional audience.

Why were we clearly shown that the three of them survived? My main question is: if they were going to survive, why did Shirogane have to die?

Shirogane's life or death would not have changed this outcome. Kiibo could have self-destructed and left Shirogane to deal with a lonely life away from the cameras she craved. What reason was there to kill Shirogane but pure revenge? And revenge is, to me, an unsatisfactory ending to a Danganronpa game.

Shirogane was clearly not the one behind the entirety of Team Danganronpa and their Killing Games. Again, her being alive or dead did not matter at all.

For that reason, Shirogane's death was never an interesting element of the ending to me. Villain dies. But it doesn't change anything to the way the world functions. If Shirogane had died and Kiibo (here: the cameraman) had survived, then the world would have known, and her death would have had an impact - albeit opposite to Saihara's request, assuming that Kiibo still saves his ass too.

The Ultimate Despair killed many. Why is it that Danganronpa forgives the man who polluted the air for everyone, or a princess who started wars for the sake of despair, but not the mastermind of one (1) out of 53 Killing Games? She may have killed Amami and Akamatsu, but the SDR2 cast is implied to have killed many, many more. Hell, the WOH were even responsible for the death of a THH survivor's close one. I absolutely prefer SDR2 and DRAE's conclusions, mind you, and actually think that NDRV3's mastermind being treated completely differently is a weakness this game brings to the Danganronpa series.

Yet again - it's the epilogue I don't like. Had everyone died, I would have been interested in this new take on a killing game's ending, but the only thing new here is the death of a random villain.

I'm a Mikan supporter, so I love her role in SDR2. Renee was my favourite character when I watched Barbie Spy Squad, when I was like... 7 or something. She was call in the MH movie. I HATE MANON AND CAN'T BELIEVE THAT SHE VOICED HER BYE- Mitsuha has a minor role in WWY but it's still cute because Your Name is my favourite comfort movie. I always found Duchess Swan as the "Trixie" (MLP) of EAH.

SDR2 Pet Name Headcanons

ミ☆ I just got thinking about what cute names the cast of sdr2 might call you in a relationship haha. I’d really like to know your opinions about it too! ミ☆ Please send me a DM or an ask if you’d like me to write something for you!

Hajime: Definitely a babe guy. He gets a little embarrassed with this cutesy stuff in public, but he loves to still give you a name that shows how much he cares about you. Probably also uses sweetheart, but usually only if he’s teasing you.

Chiaki: probably makes up her own names, definitely game related stuff VERY cute. Stuff like waddledee or tetrimino. INSTEAD OF SIGNIFICANT OTHER SHE CALLS YOU HER PLAYER 2. So lame, but also the sweetest?? ???

Teruteru: Honestly, he’s trying so hard to seem fancy that he probably calls you mon cheri, I suspect though that when he gets more comfortable and feels safe dropping the act around you, he’s going to start calling you darlin’.

Twogami: aw jeez! Gotta stay in character but also I love them so much 🥺🥺 occasionally lets a my heart slip, probably more often when you’re in private. He can’t help it.

Mikan: so cute and so flustered about it. Probably takes months for her to even start calling you by your first name. One day you’re lying on the couch together with her head on your chest and she calls you, my everything

Mahiru: Big honey energy! She is not afraid to call you cute names in public, hon, love, babe. All of them! But honey remains her favourite.

Kazuichi: oh he wants to be cool so bad. Babydoll or babe is what he calls you in public. Behind closed doors, he calls you angel. He’s such a sap, and he has an image to preserve (everyone already knows that he’s a big softie. He hasn’t realised yet)

Ibuki: She calls you by a different name every day pretty much. For a very long time you were banana split but then out of nowhere she started calling you watermelon of my heart. It’s impossible to know! But every weird name she calls you is full to the brim with love!

Peko: God what a romantic, even if she doesn’t mean to be. She calls you beloved and it melts your heart every time. Generally she prefers to keep your relationship pretty quiet in public, but sometimes you’re just too beautiful and she can’t help it.

Nagito: Adores calling you cute names, especially if you get a little flustered when he does it. Cycles between love and angel on a pretty regular basis, says them both with such pure adoration that it's impossible not to fall in love with him all over again. My hope is only for special occasions, it makes your heart race when you hear it.

Akane: very flippant with pet-names. Tosses an occasional babe in your direction but it doesn’t happen very often. The fact that she takes the time to memorise your real name is affectionate enough.

Fuyuhiko: says he doesn’t do cutesy stuff like that. Tch. Obviously not. He caves after only a few weeks of dating, he calls you honey. You giggle and ask if he’s talking to you, he’s red all the way up to his ears.

Nekomaru: HELLO MY LOVE!! he practically screams his affection for you from the rooftops. Cycling through pet name after pet name but always landing back on my love, because that’s what you are to him. His love.

Sonia: OH GOD! She calls you weird Novoselic terms of endearment! They all mean strange stuff when translated directly, like the only angel whose wings I wouldn’t clip or snail with the most beautiful shell I’ve ever seen. She also calls you more traditional cutesy stuff like sweetpea or baby. One time when you were making out she purred the name killer and that was very 👀👀

Gundham: this is a fun one. Stuff like demonic eminence or creature of the night is pretty commonplace for him. It probably makes you laugh, but in your softer, gentler moments he croons the name my darling and it probably gives you a heart attack with how romantic it is.

Hiyoko: Candy names! Generally something like gumdrop or jellybean. She gets a little mean with her pet names sometimes but even when she calls you idiot or loser you can tell she means it affectionately.

001 - Danganronpa

Favorite character: KAZUICHI SODA IS MY BABY BRO!!! Look, I know he's problematic but he's also a kind soul, a wayward outcast, a heartbroken man, anxiety incarnate, and just a very relatable everyman lens through which to view DR or any fanwork you put him in. He has far too much energy and I'm here for it. After him, JUNKO ENOSHIMA. She's glam, she's spontaneous, she's sadistic, she's just here to fuck up some shit, she'll keep rotating personalities and accents for as long as it takes to keep it fresh in her own mind while everyone's just like "What the hell, lady?" She broke the planet and I'm glad. Just an engaging villain. After that, my love goes out to Shuichi Saihara, Kaito Momota, and Tsumugi Shirogane.

Least Favorite character: TERUTERU HANAMURA. So you show me how he can't respect women (or hot men) for two hours, then try to claim that he loves his mom? Did his poor sick mom approve of him womanizing (and man-izing)? No wonder Kazuichi picked up some horrible habits hanging around this fuckwit. Also shout-out to all five of the Warriors of Hope for having bomb designs and then failing to impress me across the board.

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Kazuichi Soda x Weiss Schnee (RWBY), Junko Enoshima x Jerome Valeska (Gotham), Tsumugi Shirogane x Mr. Sparkles (Big Hero 6: The Series), Shuichi Saihara x Naminé (Kingdom Hearts), aaaaand Sondam

Character I find most attractive: Kaito Momota

Character I would marry: Ehhhhhh I'm not sure. I'd like my husband material to be a bit older than all of them.

Character I would be best friends with: See, while logically I know that a RL Kazuichi would be too much to handle, I still really want to be his pal. (H...hey...Junko and Tsumugi? Can I hang? Can we invite Mukuro?)

a random thought: You know that whole revelation in SDR2 that the Remnants of Despair replaced their body parts with Junko's salvaged from her corpse? In a world where DR3 is nonexistent, do you ever wonder what the ones who weren't Nagito, Mikan, or Fuyuhiko had? (I do like the idea of Fuyuhiko losing his eye in Neo World because it was gone IRL and replaced with Junko's. Junko WOULD be that cheeky to arrange such a thing.) I personally like to think Kazuichi had one of Junko's legs. Walked with a limp for a loooooong time.

An unpopular opinion: I actually like Korekiyo Shinguji. I like fucked-up villains, and it's not like they ever endorsed what he did as a good thing. I think you were supposed to feel disgust upon him disclosing his true nature, because Shuichi sure was disgusted and worked hard to bring him down for it. I don't really feel "betrayed" by the writing either because the whole series, as the mystery genre, revolves around there being horrible twists to uncover at every turn, and the previous two games also had characters they let you get attached to only to reveal a darker side later (Celeste stands out big-time). Also, it just strikes me as frickin funny that his whole motivation was incest and the others cringed, and then Tsumugi's love hotel scene has her revealing she has a stepbrother kink, and Tsumugi is the one who created Kiyo as an entity, so basically she was like "FINALLY I GET TO FANSERVICE MYSELF WITH MY KINK"

my canon OTP: I don't even know how you'd consider a DR couple "canon" because I feel like a lot of the subtext gets far but it's never explicitly said. I'm gonna take the Word of God statement to say Ishimondo is in fact canon, and I love it. The chill delinquent tol loves his high-strung smol.

Non-canon OTP: Kazuichi/Weiss is becoming more of a joy the longer I have it

most badass character: Going by what we hear in her case file, Mukuro Ikusaba. Oh, man, what I would give to see gameverse Mukuro kicking some ass. I mean the "IF" short story did give us the text version of that mental image, which I appreciate a lot.

pairing I am not a fan of: Kazuichi/Sonia; he needs to learn to let her go and be better to the next girl. SaiOuma, Kiibouma, and Oumota all feel like they require Kokichi to be too nice and vanilla and functional in the relationship, and Oumeno is that but also straight which Kokichi is not. Nagito/Mikan; he gay and she into a completely different type of villain.

character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): They never let Taka grow out of his grief before he simply died. Hiro was just a joke and the longer he went on, the more of a jerkass he became. Kaito is a WONDERFUL character but I don't like that there's a random bit of homophobia hidden in an optional scene in the English translation (if this is gonna be a flaw of his, at least have it out in the open), and even less the transphobia in the Japanese translation. Angie was just one long racist joke, Nagito's motivation was really roundabout to explain, and then...DR3. Just DR3. Junko Enoshima converted her Remnants through hard work and persuasion, not a magic hypnotism video!

favourite friendship: Shuichi, Kaito, and Maki. Otherwise known as "the positivity beam and his two anxious misfits."

Who would you say youre favourite character is in dangan ronpa

Thats a tough question, I dont think I can choose one. So I will tell you about my faves from each game.

DR1: Kyoko! I actually lean towards characters who heavily have purple in their designs but she became my fave because of her stoic badass AND smart nature. She can be sassy if she wishes to and she is always calm and natural. 1000/10 perfect girl.

I also really had fun whenever Toko talked because her remarks can be sooo hilarious fkksfkskkks AND Sakura. She is just. Amazing. Even when everyone was distrustful towards her she still saw them as friends..... And she is super buff.

SDR2: Gundham!!! Spending time with him was literally so fun. He is great. Also helps that he runs around with hamsters inside his scarf.

Chiaki. Also has the calmness and rational-ness of Kyoko. Super soft spoken, I love both her English and Japanese VA. AND SUPER SMART!!! Loves her friends. Amazimg.....

And Ibuki!!!!! I already talked about her but I'll say it again. I love how colorful and expressive she is. Super fun to be around and makes people better!!! Also she literally dyes her hair to 3 multiple colors. Come on, she is perfect.

NDRV3: Kaede! This girl loves her friends, and is super determined to save them!!! I really appreciated her determination that she even planned out a murder and was ready to live with the burden of that if it meant everyone else was happy. She made Shuichi feel way more comfortable in just a matter of days. Also has music knowledge which is super duper cool in my book.

Miu. Idk I just think she is neat. She is literally SO talented yall. This girl can make any idea into an invention. Love her loudness and lack of ability to read the room. ALSO FINALLY A GIRL WAS ALLOWED TO HAVE A DIRTY MOUTH. I was feeling under represented.

Who you’re favorite sdr2 character and why?

Hmm I think Hiyoko Saionji would be my favourite! I know she isn't the nicest person, but I am a big fan of her design; I also enjoy her personality and the way she talks, if that makes sense. As many other people, I wish she got more character development, but I still managed to get attached to her, even without that.

In general, I don't have pretty strong opinions on characters; if I start to like one, I can't really think of many reasons why, in most of the cases. I just think it feels right to like them :D
