Shiro/Kengo ship headcanons

1. Their relationship started off in a very indecisive way. Shiro basically says something that is practically a confession and Kengo is taken COMPLETELY off guard. 2. They still bicker a lot and everyone makes fun of them for acting like an old married couple. They both deny it with fervour, given they’re both nineteen. 3. They spend a long time warming up to each other on affections given mutual stubbornness. Neither is really big spoon or little spoon, it’s a free for all. 4. Before coming together, Kengo’s side of the attraction was a lot more begrudging than Shiro’s. Shiro was more of a ‘damn it, I actually like this meathead’ and Kengo was more of a ‘WHY DO I FIND THIS NERD CUTE, GOD FUCKING DAMN IT’. 5. When they do go on dates, it’s usually to watch film or to help each other out. Shiro gets Kengo to study via lighthearted bribery of affection and Kengo PRIES Shiro away from his work. They both learn a good deal from this. 6. Kengo was the one to initiate their first kiss and it was a very, very sloppy attempt.

Do you have super cool art by Kim possible and wanted to ask a question how do you view the pair of Shigo and Ron or How are Kim and Shigo?

🤔 I'm assuming you mean how I view the character relationship between Shego and Ron and Shego and Kim.

I think Shego has some sort of 'respect' for Ron in the sense of: "This kid manages to screw up everything, yet it always results in a positive outcome... I've gotta admit that's impressive." Aside from that she isn't too bothered by him, since he is wise enough to stay out of her way..., most of the time.

My view on the relationship between Shego and Kim is like some other people have theorized it: Kim is a reminder of what Shego used to be and turned her back on, a hero; and she doesn't want to be reminded of that fact. Sometimes you 'hate' people because they show a lot of your own qualities that you're insecure about or dislike. After 'Stop Team Go!' I think Shego changes her mind slightly and sees Kim as not all that bad. After all they're just a kid that tries to do what she believes in.

My own headcanon is that after the series finale, Graduation part 2, Shego becomes more and more neutral towards the teens. Not necessarily friendly and she will keep up the sarcastic jabs (especially teasing Ron because he's easy to get fired up over things).

Few years later, Shego would have softened up more towards them (Kim and Ron are adults now) and is on friendly terms. Kim confines things to Shego and sometimes asks for advice. They basically have an older and younger sibling/sister relationship but aren't as tight and close as they were in stop team go!

When I'm not reading fanfiction, I'm reading published novels. Many by Becky Albertalli, who most probably know as the author of Simon and the Homosapiens Agenda (more colloquially know by its adapted film title Love, Simon). Just recently, she published another book- Imogen, Obviously. If you've ever wondered what it's like to suffer from comphet here's you're way to experience it. Ever struggled with feeling as if the queer community doesn't accept you? Here you go. Ever wondered what that "aha" moment of realizing your gay is like? I have too many WIPs… I understand it now Marcy, but I also can’t contain myself. I literally don’t know how you sit on all your ideas and wait to post when it’s completed. I could never!

Okay but the real point of talking to tumblr about it is to say I really should finish I Wish I Cared Less… I still need to write the kaishi version and I thought of another alternate too (that I probably won’t write but I was thinking about it a lot this morning. It could go in And Another Thing! But I feel like everything related to this verse will just go in another installment of Honey I’m A Sucker When You Linger series)

Addition: you know how every author has like that one fic? I wonder what mine is sometimes. Like I feel like obviously song fics but idk sometimes I’m like maybe it’s this verse? I can’t even choose myself tbh. It depends on the day. Cause yes I am one of those people who goes back and rereads my shit. Not all of them. But sometimes when I need to get back into the headspace or I’m trying to remember something so I’m not just always repeating myself (or for callback purposes) or sometimes I just really want something specific that I already wrote and can count on cause it’s catered to me. The reason why I thought of the alternate is literally because I was going back through I Wish I Cared Less. There’s literally like one more chapter probably. Like I could just end it. But ugh. I have a lot of that going on. Triple Threat… Run To Change The Endgame… (though it’s cause I want Taylor’s version and I actually need to add another chapter for The Joker and The Queen)

Update: so I went back and looked through I Wish I Cared Less and I completely forgot where I was going with chapter 11… see this is why I shouldn’t be allowed to work on multiple WIPs *sigh
