The current "leaders" of the 3 Great Yokai factions:

Shir-Kani of the [Oni]

Leviotan of the [Kitsune] (though he actually co-leads with his younger sister, Viviane)

Berebis of the [Tengu] -- due to reasons, however, he has personally not been involved in any of the affairs between the three races in so long, thus leading to the [White Plume] (Fuyume) to step in as acting-leader.

Extra Info about the 3 Great Yokai Races:

Originally, they didn't get along great. Like, at all. It was only thanks to the effort and the amount of blood shed by countless Kitsune, Oni, and Tengu-- along with the "3 Calamities"-- that this semblance of peace and friendliness among the three races exists along with humanity.

Oni usually have around a minimum of a pair of horns up to a maximum of 3 sets of horns on their head. The amount of horns are usually an indicator of how powerful of an Oni they are, but more often than not they're just decorations on the head of an Oni.

For the Tengu, the most common color of wings they can have is black. It's not uncommon though to see Tengu with wing colors of (dark shades of) red, blue, purple, etc.-- however, having white wings is EXTREMELY rare. It is also customary to wear masks reminiscent to that of birds whenever they leave their village.

Kitsune are able to have a maximum amount of 9 tails, with how many number of tails indicating how powerful a Kitsune is; the more tails one has, the stronger they are. There has been only one instance of a Kitsune reaching up to 10 tails, but any and all records of whomever that was are a tightly-guarded secret by the current Chief of the Kitsunes.

The Tengu live in secrecy within high up the mountains in one big community, usually where there is a lot of foliage. Even then, their village is hidden behind a veil of mysticism and an illusionary wall that separates the two realities. They prefer to not ever get involved with the dealings of humankind or even get dragged into the mess of the other two Yokais-- it's precisely because of this attitude that they are the only ones able to act as the "impartial ones" in case either the Onis or the Kitsunes do anything that would jeopardize the delicate balance they have with the humans.

The Oni on the other hand, are in complete opposite situation as they live out in the open and practically everyone knows where their city is. The main reason why no one ever even dares to try and invade them is because they have never once failed to drive off invaders from their land and have quite the fearsome reputation in regards to cruelty, intimidation, and inhumanity-- they don't bother much in regards to fixing this reputation since they all pretty much agree that it's convenient.

The Kitsunes, meanwhile, freely mingle and love among and/or together with humans but they are also very much welcome to return to their original Kitsune villages any time. Despite coming across as the most friendly of the 3 Great Yokai races, however, it is still widely advised to be on one's guard when you KNOW you're dealing with a Kitsune because they have a long-standing reputation of either being a [curse] or a [blessing] for anyone that comes across them.

in the Yokai AU, Raetel gets adopted into Shir's family after Hokusai willingly gave him to the Onis to be raised as an Oni after sometime raising him from childhood.

He and Lala get into petty sibling spats from time to time, and both even get royally pissed if any one mistakes them for twins (due to being Onis and having black-and-white hair) Cirnu meanwhile, in this AU, was the one who raised both Shir and Lala after they were orphaned as children.

Hey so I....... really really love you. You're incredible and wonderful and I'd kiss you if I wasn't a coward. You don't have to return the favor but I just want you to know that I love you with all my heart and you mean a lot to me ok byyyyye.

Leviotan: *raises an eyebrow* I see. *casually eats only bonbon before giving the rest to Viviane*

Sweets really aren't my thing. Plus, if you had the guts to write a love letter then at least have the guts to confront me in person. Sheesh. *scratches the back of his head, sighing*

(Vivi: Awww, thanks bro! But I already have so many chocos, and the biggest choco is from you~!! Even with my big tummy, I can't eat all of theseeee-!! ò3ó )

Ophiou: Eh? EEEEHHHH????!!! *shooketh because he received chocos from a girl* Eh-? Wuh-? Arereh-??? Hah-?

*Ophiou.EXE crashed; rebooting in 3... 2... 1...*

T-Th-Thanks....!! I, I guess....??! I-I-...! *takes deep breaths to calm himself down* .... I have absolutely no idea why you would even like (a monster) me, b-but.... I really am happy.....

Raneus: *skims through the letter casually tossing it away* She didn't put any caffeine in the choco right? *sniffs one piece* It doesn't contain any liqueur as well right? *squints eyes* I guess I'll feed them to O-chan (Ophiou) first to test if there's any.

... Love is unnecessary to me. *blunt* I'm not looking for it nor am I asking for it. Plus I don't even know who the sender is.

(Ophi: Ran--!!! Be a little more kind and considerate would you...??! OAO)

Berebis: ..... *sighs after reading the letter* Where in the hell are you all coming from... *crumples the letter before staring at the box of bonbons* ... I'm not hungry at the moment, but I'm not letting anyone take it.

Keeping it just in case I get hungry from my nap.... *yawns* Speak of the devil, I'm tired again...

Hokusai: Oh? Oho~? *chuckles* Interesting. I am honored to have earned the little lady's affections, but alas, I must reject such heartfelt confessions. It would be best if she were to direct these to someone else more suitable than I. Now as for the chocolates.... fufu.

Yes, I'll share these with my son~. *chuckles* I still recall him being an avid eater of sweets~.

(Raetel: SHUT UP OLD MAN, I'LL KILL YOU-!! WHO SAID YOU CAN SAY SUCH THINGS-- *he's embarrassed, forgive him*)

Shir: *blinks, smiles faintly* This feels rather nostalgic. Who would've thought that I would receive chocolates once more like this, I feel as if I had returned back to my younger self.

*laughs lightheartedly* Valentine's Day is not a custom really celebrated in my hometown, mainly because they see it as something stupid, so to receive chocolates and a letter once more like I did back in school is somewhat refreshing.

ehehee hi Pete 🙈 if it's aight with u imma go ahead and pick Shir because it's been literal forever since I talked about this man!!!

Shir actually can't handle anything too sour! Or anything too spicy. His palate is actually rather surprisingly delicate which is why he tends to incline over to either bland-tasting foods or sweets.

Though because of his own niceness (and to save face) he's the type of guy who can't refuse any food that's offered to him especially if it was made by a friend/loved one. Thankfully he can make rather convincing blank expressions to mask his disgust or pain behind lol.

His favorite color is light blue and his favorite season is Autumn.

Funnily enough, people don't easily realize it but when off-duty from being "Chief"/"King" or has no reason to keep up a cool facade whatsoever, Shir can be rather surprisingly a slacker and/or enjoys mischief.

He has a favorite pastime of either just taking a long nap throughout the afternoon or taking a dip in a pool, but he's also prone to going off on short adventures without anyone's notice if he's managed to find a wide enough gap in his schedule. (Which causes more than enough headaches for one of his closest friends and advisor)

And with this, the [special case] peeps are done~!! As to why I called them the [special cases], well, I won’t be elaborating on it for now, in the future, though I already have reasons ready on hand in case anyone wants to know sadjsadjsksd

Seriously, screw drawing a tiger-- it look cool, but it’s not easy and mine looks like complete dogshit asdjsddkalsd-- also, yes, the tiger has a mane, but it’s made out of ink, and the tail looks like it’s on fire but it’s actually ink as well

Orchis’ lower body doesn’t exist; it’s just, ink-- also they’re ridiculously tall while whatever amount of flesh is left on them is rotting away

Also- Hokusai-sensei here is actually Hokusai-sensei from the past, before he made a contract with Crowley and b4 he became a teacher; the blotches around him are black flames-- they’re ink made into flames

Originally, Cirnu was just supposed to be a “shadow person with wings and horns” but then that would be too silly to draw so I just- went with this alternative salkdjsjdsd

Anyways, as to whether or not I’ll finish these-- hmmm, someday, maybe, when I’m feeling a bit more up to it- asdjlasdljsada *slumps onto the floor, sighing disappointedly*

meet Shir-Kani Tigris, Lala’s older brother

Here are a few fun facts about him:

He’s older than Lala by about 4 years; she’s 17 currently and thus Shir is 21

Shir’s also actually an alumni of Night Raven College and used to be part of the Savanaclaw dorm (just like Lala currently)

His name [Shir] is a variation of [Shere] which means “Tiger” or “Lion”, while his other name “Kani” means “Strength; Energy; Powerful; Price”

He towers over his little sister, well given that she’s 156cm it’s not too hard to be taller than her; his height btw is 202cm-- yes, he’s as tall as Malleus

He’s the next in line to become “King” of his clan, although he appears to have no attachments to such a title even though he takes his responsibilities seriously

Shir’s an affable and kind guy, if a bit aloof-- he’s also a pretty serious guys, though not too serious that he’s a stick in the mud... although Lala begs to differ.

He’s also really an overprotective guy, tho this trait isn't at all uncommon in their clan, who will go so far as to be a bodyguard for someone whom he deeply cares about 24/7 (this also extends to his little sister despite her being able to soundly kick his ass 10 times over despite their height and size difference, and the fact that Shir himself is NO PUSHOVER and is really strong himself)

Though he no longer attends the school, at times whenever he’s free from his duties he goes to visit whenever and tries to catch up with Lala... who seems intent to either avoid him/stalk him from afar like a predator would a prey, or challenge him to a death match. Either of the two really.

Shir doesn’t like to admit it but he’s ticklish on the nape of his neck (which is mainly the reason why he grew out his hair and is wearing his current outfit)

Lala: It’s been a long time, aniki~. Want to indulge in a lil sparing for “old time’s sake”~?

Shir: As usual, your itch for blood hasn’t deterred...

Lala: Of course~! It’s YOU I’m facing against after all. The one I most want to beat and tear apart myself~.

Shir: ....

Lala: Stop looking at me with that fucking look of pity on your face, Shir. *her smiles drops as her eyes open with a vicious glare* Every time we meet, you always have that look. It’s pathetic. The next in line has no right to be soft, especially in our clan. Ya know that just as well as I do.

Shir: Of course, the two of us know that all a little too well. .... I just--

Lala: Finish that sentence and I will rip out your throat this instant. And you know very well I could do that barehanded.

Shir: ..... (I know I’ve already apologized to you a thousand times, and you said you’ve long since forgiven me but... that day really made its mark on your psyche... tch.... I really am a failure as an older brother.)

Hey hey hey hey hey hey hey. Does Hokusai and Shir give good hugs? I’m asking for research purposes

Just for convenience sake, I’m gonna write the hugs they give their respective S/O:

Shir’s hugs are strong, firm, and tight, but they’re also rather gentle, warm, and cozy. His arms just engulf his S/O’s (more than likely) small frame very easily; he places one hand on across their shoulders while his other hand is placed square on their back, occasionally tenderly stroking their back as if to comfort or silently tell them that he’ll always be by their side. Shir’s also one to hug from behind, though he mostly only does this whenever there’s danger nearby or he gets a tad bit jealous/possessive.

Types of hugs he does: Hug from behind, strong hug, bear hug, one-handed hug

Hokusai’s hugs aren’t as warm as his tail, or Shir’s, but they’re still pretty cozy– the kind where it’s like, no matter where you are, no matter where you’ll be, he’ll always be there; eternally. He always likes to pick up his S/O whenever he hugs them, raising them up just enough so that they could see eye-to-eye since, after all, [the eyes are the window to the soul], and he believes that affection doesn’t need words (all the time) but rather close intimacy.

Types of hugs he does: The hug while looking into the eyes, ‘hug that lasts’, straddle hug, pickpocket hug

HUUUUNNNYYYYYY—

THIS QUESTION MADE ME BRING UP SO MANY TABS AND SITES JUST TO FIND AN ANSWER FOR EACH HAHAHA (but I don’t mind ily lol)

Quintin: Quickstep & Swing, can dance Ballet as well; when he gets really into it and he looks like he’s having fun THEN he takes the lead, but most of the time he just lets his partner lead unless they want him to lead in which case he’ll try to get into the groove as quickly as possible.

Seisear: Flamenco & Swing, can Tap dance too; it’s half-half with this one, he doesn’t mind leading but he also doesn’t mind being led, he leaves it up to his partner on whatever they want to do– though you can bet on it that he’s the one who starts the dance.

Lala: Jazz & Modern, can do Hip-hop dancing greatly; WILL LEAD THE WAY 100% GUARANTEED– though on occasion, she’ll allow her partner to lead, only if to see how they dance the dance and try to outpace them just for the fun of it.

Ophiou: Ballet & Waltz, can Belly dance extraordinarily well; would prefer not to dance at all if there’s a large amount of people, but if it’s just him and his partner then he’ll feel a bit more okay in dancing– he’ll only take the lead if his partner wants him to lead/gives him the ok signal, or if they wanna be taught.

Cirnu: Viennese Waltz & (Classical & Romantic)Ballet, can also dance Salsa; doesn’t mind leading or being led honestly, doesn’t mind as well being the one to teach her partner how to dance– it’s quite a nice and relaxing moment. (and did I forget to mention how she would probably be great as a teacher?)

Berebis: Waltz & Ballet, can actually do Modern dance nicely; his upbringing and personality contrasts here, kinda– he’ll normally lead his partner on the slow part of the music, but quickly backtracks and makes his partner lead at random times (though don’t worry, he’s guiding them throughout the whole thing so they don’t end up stepping over each other’s feet).

Fuyume: Waltz & Kabuki, can dance (Classical)Ballet as well; contrasting with Lala, this one will let her partner 100% lead her all the way through– though, she’ll only lead if and when she’s teaching someone, that’s it.

Shir: Jazz & Contemporary, can Breakdance and dance Street Jazz too; he immediately asks his partner on which of the two of them will lead the dance, he knows how big-built and tall he is(compared to most people not Malleus or anyone at the 200+cm mark) so he doesn’t want to accidentally bump into his partner or whatnot.

Hokusai: Swing & Latin, can also do the Tango quite well; this foxy man knows a LOT of dancing and has a lot of experience, so he normally leads- though he’ll ask his partner if they would like to lead next time… he says this when he has them in close reach during the dance (to tease them).

For all your ocs,if they had to choose between relaxing in the beach,camping in the woods or hot spring which one will they choose?

THE CAMPING TRIO!! (Ophiou, Lala, and Bel)

Now I know what you’re thinking; Lala is understandable, but why Ophi and Bel?? Well, that’s because Bel actually likes to go outside– though it’s mostly to collect items for his potions, that and the fact that the woods is a quiet place to go to without anyone else around. Ophi genuinely likes the woods in much the same vein as Bel, in that it is a quiet place where no one will be able to so much as look at him and such.

When the three found out that their schedules coincide and they were planning to go camping, out of convenience they agreed to go together. Although Lala complained at first since it was a one-person trip for herself but she eventually relented since she didn’t exactly mind Ophi and Bel due to them being people who can take care of themselves and aren’t helpless lil cubs.

THE BEACH TRIO!! (Sei, Fuyu, and Quin)

Fuyu seems like the LAST person who should, yes I say should considering her nature as a snow fae which makes her really weak/lethargic during summer or anywhere really hot, but for the longest of time she’s really wanted to see the ocean, since, where she came from, there was only snow and ice as far as the eye could see. Sei absolutely loves the sea since it feels so wide and out in the open, it has a pretty lively and comfortable feeling for him, Quin, on the other hand, despite also liking the sea and beaches, is embarrassed to go since that would mean he has to go topless (which he quickly corrects with wearing a summer jacket).

THE HOT SPRINGS DUO!! (Shir and Cirnu)

And of course, we get to the “adults” of this roster(for now until fox sensei gets implemented). Shir almost always heads straight to any nearby onsen whenever there’s one and he’s finished with his trainings and duties; he finds himself able to relax a lot more and loosen up a bit. Cirnu just likes the feeling of the hot springs really, as far as her memory is able to dig up she hasn’t tried one at all and so after the first time she’s really come to like going to the hot springs on occasion.

“Kuh....”

With a pained groan, the tiger steadily sank onto one knee, grabbing his right arm which was severely bleeding from the huge gash that left its mark on his limb as a seething pain was aching throughout his whole body.

Despite being covered in claw marks and bruises all over his body, parts of his clothes tattered and ripped, Shir could not let himself give up so easily; especially so due to what was on the line.

Soft footsteps approached the heavily injured man, stopping just right in front of him. He moved his gaze upwards to look at the source, only to find the color of the sea and the color of the forest were looking down upon him with disappointment and fury obvious in their steely gaze.

“Pathetic,” the voice, that of which was of a young girl’s, but deeper in a way wherein it sounded like it could easily cut into one’s body, spoke, “... is this all that you got? Pathetic. Disappointing. Worthless. Really, how could someone like you actually be my older brother.”

Older brother.

It had been years since Shir had last heard those words come out of the girl’s mouth.

His little sister, Lala.

She had left on her own at just the age of 9 without saying a word to anyone, and now reuniting with her after nearly eight years... only to end up in what could be only called a [death match], with stakes on both sides to gain and to lose.

If Shir won, then Lala would have to leave this extremely rabid and dangerous lifestyle behind and attend the same school that he himself had attended and just graduated from fairly recently. If Lala won, then Shir would have to forever get out of her sights and never reappear ever again, effectively cutting all and remaining ties to her family, to her clan.

The older man didn’t want to have to resort to fighting his own younger sibling but there was no other choice that the white tiger would accept, thus they came to trade blows until one of them surrenders... or one of them dies.

They had been exchanging punches and attacks from what felt like hours until the battle had reached this point.

“... Are you mocking me?” Lala practically spat as she shot a death glare at her older brother, her odd-eyes appearing to glow as her face was shadowed over her face due to lighting behind her.

“What do you mean?” Shir replied, sounding a bit puzzled. Although, perhaps, he already knew what she meant, but he just decided to not bring it up.

Quickly tired of his wishy-washy attempt to sneakily brush off that topic, the young girl quickly aimed for a quick spin-kick directly aimed at the man’s face. Just barely dodging it by a hair’s breadth, Shir very quickly jumped back on to his feet a few feet away from Lala, who rapidly closed the distance he tried to create by putting all of her strength into her feet and legs, leaping towards him to deliver a jump hook spin kick.

The orange-haired man managed to block it just in time, but due to the fact that the kick was aimed to the right side of his face, Shir had to use his bleeding and severely injured right arm to block the attack, causing him to wince twice; both from the kick itself and the recoil that one kick gave him, as he went almost flying to the side were it not for the fact that he planted his feet onto the ground firmly and thankfully he only ended up skidding across the ground, although the undersides of his feet were aching with a dull yet hot sensation as if they were on hot charcoal.

“Fight me seriously!! GODDAMNIT!!!” Lala yelled, her voice seemingly straining near the end with frustration and a foreign emotion as she gritted her teeth, preparing for another attack. A vexed look appeared on Shir’s face as he deeply inhaled and exhaled, trying to calm his mind.

No more hesitating.

Steadily, the tiger opened his eyes, his blue orbs now as clear like the unclouded azure sky, as they locked on what was in front of him.

Doubts in one’s conviction leads to the dulling of the fists.

Moving into an attack stance, he clenched his fists even tighter than before, his muscles tightening up from anticipation, and his pupils narrowing with complete focus.

If you have something you wish to attain...

Only seconds passed by before the two tigers lunged at each other.

Then you must be prepared to fight like a beast.

Quin’s type:

One the traits he’d like in someone is that they who won’t rush or cram too many things because to be frank, Quin is TIRED enough already in rushing too many things nearly everyday. He doesn’t want to also rush getting into a relationship. Though, just for them, he won’t complain in the slightest, not even in his head.

His type is someone who’s a lot more confident and positive-thinking than himself though not to the point of stupidity, although that too is charming in its own way a bit Quin also likes someone who will absolutely go for anything they want damned be the consequences since he used to be just like that when he was little though he then quickly panics a bit and tries to (failingly) persuade them to back out of it if it seems like too much trouble or they could get in danger.

If his S/O is a book lover/nerd/interested in magical beasts then you can bet this boy is instantly over the moon and is 101% thrilled to read books with them or tell them about all the various stories of yore, ancient magical creatures, etc. etc.

Sei’s type:

Someone cute, small, and soft is his preferred type. No, it’s not because he wants to easily monopolize them, rather, it’s because Sei is actually SCARED that he might end up losing them as well one day that this is the type of person he’s trying to find as his S/O since it’s easier to keep an eye out for someone with this description. Sure, while he loves a good game of hide and seek on the occasion, he doesn’t want his S/O out of sights for too long because he steadily gets anxious and fearful of potentially losing them.

An S/O with an aversion to conflict quickly pulls him in, and he doesn’t mind being their support all the time. He wants someone to always stay by his side no matter what may happen or whatever he says or does because he just wants reassurance that they won’t go anywhere and won’t leave him.

Sei feels drawn to people with a gentle heart while also being courageous but not stupid and knows what they’re doing. If they’re somewhat innocent then he feels inclined to keep them that way so that he doesn’t have to see them break down and lose themselves.

Lala’s type:

Someone strong. Like, physically strong. Someone who can hold their own in a fight will make her heart swell with pride, even more so if they win… which leads to her more often than not challenging them on occasion. They could also be someone who looks really tough on the outside, but v soft on the inside

Thoouuuggghhh—… her other type could also be someone who’s actually not physically strong but they’re incredibly nice and kindhearted. Sure, those types of people make her sick to the stomach due to how disgustingly nice they are, but she can’t help but be drawn to them all the same.

It’s fine too if they’re not particularly bright since she herself has braincells, even if she doesn’t use them all the time. Either way, she’d fight everyone if it meant protecting the one thing she wants to keep close.

Ophiou’s type:

He would like an angel. Please. Though because this isn’t a fairytale and he’s a monster, he doesn’t have high hopes at all hahaha—

The type of S/O Ophi is looking for is someone who’s very kindhearted and nice despite his initial harsh and distant words- they’d have to persistently try to get close to him because it won’t be easy to take down all his emotional walls and awkwardness. He doesn’t give a shit as to what race his S/O might be since all that matters to him is how the other person feels.

Because he is a soft guy at heart, he gets mushy if his S/O is the type of person who showers their lover with affection and is easily set flustered when they’re teasing him despite his usually quick recoil words.

Cirnu’s type:

Okay in all seriousness, she only wants [a good man]. By that I mean, she wants someone who is kind to others but isn’t a total pushover and knows when to be strict when they need to be. Someone who doesn’t like violence or fighting, but will be the first to engage in it if it meant protecting others and those they care about. Of course, flaws are inevitable and thus when things are too much for them to handle then she’ll be there for them and support them through and through. Someone romantic, but keeps things simple and personal (except for the occasional grand gestures, but only rarely).

She doesn’t mind a height difference really, but if her S/O is shorter than her then she can’t help but feel like lightheartedly teasing them just a little bit.

Bel’s type:

He’s not really looking for romance though it doesn’t mean that he hasn’t given it a single thought at least once. Though the first thing he wants in a potential S/O is someone who doesn’t buy all the shit that he says and is quite persistent, that or someone whom he’s known for a long long while now preferably long ago in the past.

Bel’s type of S/O is someone who is very independent, truly sincere, and quiet but not too quiet since it would remind him too much of a doll, he doesn’t mind them speaking a lot just so long as they don’t constantly shout or yell- they’re completely honest about everything they say (though he’s still panicking on the inside about whether or not they’re lying and can’t help but try to analyze and use his natural internal skepticism out of paranoia). If they’re a bit shy or have gap moe then prepare yourself for being teased, Bel won’t stop until you’re completely red in the face.

He’d also like someone who doesn’t take shit from other people and WILL have a good comeback at the aggressor, though if he sees that it’s actually having an effect on his S/O then Bel himself will do something about it. No one hurts the only person whom he genuinely cares about in the entire world and gets away scot-free.

Fuyu’s type:

Due to her complete inexperience with emotions and feelings, she herself isn’t sure about what an “S/O” is, and considering that she’s never felt or experienced love, she herself doesn’t know what it means to WANT a lover/partner.

Although if pressed for details persistently, then she might reply with “Someone “humane”… a person who’s liked by others and knows what they want.” Essentially, the type of person she’s looking for is someone open with others, confident, has flaws but doesn’t let themselves be taken over or swallowed by it (tho if they’re actually just really good at hiding it then it’s fine; she’ll still stay by their side and hold their hand or hug them).

Fuyu finds herself attracted to those who are true to themselves while remaining nice to other people, and if it’s just an act then she finds herself all the more curious about what is up with them and why they’re acting like this.

Shir’s type:

The type of person that he would fall for is someone strong— no, they don’t have to be physically strong, but rather, someone who won’t let themselves get beaten down so easily by others and will get right back up if they do tumble. Shir respects those types of people and can’t help but be drawn in by them. If they’re a bit too feisty then he’ll act as their self-restraint and quickly try to pull them out of that situation before they get hurt.

He doesn’t mind them being independent, actually, he encourages their independence, though he does feel the need to protect and keep them safe every so often. If his S/O is prone to having problems with anything then he’ll sit down with them and have a personal but also deep talk with them in order to get the bottom of it, since he doesn’t want to see them hurting for any longer.

Are you short or tall? That’s okay because it doesn’t matter! If his S/O is short then he becomes all the more protective and clingy over them but won’t undermine their authority, and if his S/O is tall then he feels all the more reassured that they can handle themselves on their own (tho if they’re taller than him then he laughs about how knowing how Lala feels now)

16. If they were arrested with no explanation, what would their friends and family think they had done?

Quintin Blanpine & Seisear Marchare: Their grandfather would definitely be quite miffed about his beloved grandsons being arrested with no explanation, plus he knows all about Quintin since he raised the boy by himself after the kid’s parents died when he was young, and he’s been in Seisear’s life ever since his childhood (until he also ended up practically raising him alongside Quintin after a certain incident). He believes that neither of the two did anything bad but is cordial and polite when inquiring about just why did his grandsons get arrested.

Ophiou Chos Gorgos: His mother would DEFINITELY be upset. She’s protective over her son, especially so after she nearly lost him in the past, and now he gets put in jail for no reason whatsoever? Despite her fury though, she retracts her teeth and anger, even though she has long since lost her eye ability, as she tries to peacefully settle this and get her son out of wrongful imprisonment. This situation isn’t helping his mother is trying to affirm (to herself and to her son) that people aren’t prejudiced and whatnot. She 100% believes that her son wouldn’t do anything to harm others and their small family and community don’t like getting involved or making trouble.

Berebis R. L'Ephegor: Much like Ophiou’s mom, Bel’s mom would DEFINITELY be upset and distraught, erratic even since she fully believes that her son can do no wrong and that the arrest was based on either a mistake or antagonism against their family. His dad is also shocked and calls this kind of situation as unfair, but he also expresses disappointment in Bel for being put in this situation— nonetheless, the family will use their reputation and everything at their disposal to get Bel out as soon as possible. His parents fully believe that Bel wouldn’t do anything to cause trouble or harm unto others, with his mother being the one more insistent on these accusations against her son to be false.

Shir-Kani Tigris: Despite their rather harsh and cutthroat beliefs, the entire Tigris clan calls Shir’s arrest to be one massive bullshit. Even Lala is pissed, as, despite their rather prickly relationship, she acknowledges the fact that her older brother isn’t the type of person to do anything wrong and he’s a reasonable guy. His mother has to be physically restrained lest she attacks the guys who are trying to arrest her son, while his father says to let this be since he knows that if his son is truly innocent, which he fully believes Shir is, then he’ll be released in no time.

Leviotan Genov: Levi’s grandmother just shakes her head before doing everything in her power to get him out of prison; after all, family sticks together. His mother is also angry about this situation, though something like this isn’t too uncommon with their lifestyle and whatnot, his other siblings have mixed reactions ranging from concern to making jokes about Levi’s situation, with Vivi being in the former category— she believes that while her brother could be quite rough, he wouldn’t do anything that would go out of the line unless completely necessary. His family thinks that Levi could have (accidentally) hurt someone a bit too much, or threatened them.

Raneus Salpho: His entire family is shocked at this happening since they all know that Ran isn’t someone who would do anything that would get himself into trouble at all, even if he can be somewhat impish. Though with that being said, almost all of them are distant towards each other so they don’t really get involved much with each other’s affairs... however, it doesn’t mean that they don’t care about each other, and Ran isn’t an exception to this. His mother, in particular, comes to his aid and tries her damnest to get her son out of his imprisonment.

EXTRA:

Hokusai Nasu: He hasn’t seen any of his family in forever, and is 100% sure that they don’t even know if he’s still alive or not. Plus, he’s already centuries old, along with going under a different name now. Most importantly, he’s under careful watch and he’s kind of bound to the school and its perimeters, so he can’t really commit a crime outside, along with the fact that he won’t harm any of the students and he generally isn’t allowed to harm any person lest he is taken again.

Orchis Hortengea(?): Since they’re a fairly recent undead and Crowley, MC, Grim, and everyone else has done their best to keep their true nature a secret, it’s nearly impossible that Orchis would ever be arrested for anything honestly. Besides, they’ve been dead for decades, and their family have most likely moved and passed on... that and, either way, Orchis doesn’t remember much about their past as a living person.
