Its from a while back (262) because i prefer to kill my brain all at once, but WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH HER SHIRT. That is a SQUARE. It was like this in multiple panels too
What's even funnier / weirder is why are they wearing the shirts in the first place?
1.) Eros and Psyche seem to be completely isolated in the prison, even if Apollo or Leto forced them to wear them they should be able to just remove them if they really don't want to be wearing them as soon as they're unsupervised.
2.) Who's gonna see them wearing the shirts? It's not like they were forced to do some "Apollo 4 King" video on TikTok to make it seem like they were aligning with Apollo, they're deadass just sitting in a prison cell wearing these shirts for seemingly no one and nothing but Apollo's entertainment?
3.) Love how we're just gonna pretend that Apollo's original campaign wasn't "Apollo for President". Love that for him that he finally figured out he lives in a monarchy and not a democracy.

consider. ex catholic gale and shadowheart modern AU childhood friends.
shadowheart's parents and gale's mum being friends since the two were babies. they expected gale and shadowheart to eventually get together since they were stupidly young, even encouraged it. this never happened, but the families remained as close as ever, even meeting up for holidays well into their adulthood.
both drifted away from the religion for different reasons however they still appreciate the aesthetics and history that comes with it. they're always a phone call away when they need to confide in each other when the ~guilt~ takes hold.
the two of them in their late 30s has gale dressed in gaudy vibrant sweaters and thick frames, and shadowheart in monochrome outfits like she just walked off a runway. they look to be from completely different worlds to outsiders, like they couldn't possibly have anything in common.
meeting and befriending the other companions, who think they're together, and even ask if there was ever anything between them. they both loudly defend themselves because 'EW, NO! THEY'RE LIKE A SIBLING TO ME!'
both have insane amount of dirt on the other, and stories from early teens/twenties that they share with the group after a bottle of wine in order to embarrass the other.

The thing about Kelder being ~crazy~ is that even if you don't care about the ableism of it all (though you should!) it's also just, bad writing lol

I’m being so ffr rn, if the show runners definitively show that Buddie is not going to happen?
I’m probably not going to be watching anymore.
I mean it when I say that they’re literally the sole reason I watched this show in the first place. I saw a billion TikTok edits of them & was like “Idek these characters I need to watch this show and see what’s going on over there.”
And like, it’s a fun show, I’m not saying it isn’t, but first responder shows are a dime a dozen. There are other shows that have queer characters and found family and wild adventures. Granted, they don’t have Buck & his bi arc, but I’d still read fanfics to get my Evan Buckley fix lol.
I don’t need them right now, I’m so down for the slow burn, will-they-won’t-they & the pining & the yearning & the build up and the GOOD foundation. I want to see Eddie figuring himself out and dealing with his repression and figuring out he’s queer (& Demi, pls God. I hope if I just say it enough, I can will it into existence somehow) before anything happens with the two of them, but if they take definitive steps to have one of them like, marry someone else or something, I think I’m gonna head out. Find me on ao3 for the rest of my days lol.

Me: Is this Farmer Boy sequel written in 2012 really going to be able to feel like a legitimate follow-up to the style and atmosphere of the original, or is it just another modern cash-grab?
Heather Williams, on page 2: Best of all, he knew that fall meant crispy spareribs and sweet cider and hot roasted potatoes with melting butter and all the pumpkin pie he could eat.
Me: ....it looks like I can trust you. Carry on.

Did anything at all come of the "Save Our Salmons" post? I just remembered it and was like, "... huh. Whatever happened with that?" I guess it could've been in reference to Grizz using the eggs for the rocket, but the egg usage feels somehow disconnected from the Salmonids in RotM. :/
yeah no I still think about that, 'save our salmons' really amounted to nothing <3
ROTM's human extinction lore was amazing, and then everything else.....a whole lot of wasted potential

I was talking about this on reddit but I don't think Dorian having the necromancer specialisation fits him really... at all. I can believe he's interested in necromancy (though this isn't really shown apart from one banter with cassandra) and gaider said he was drawn to it because it was difficult- that makes sense, but I just think the vibes are off. Like necromancy kind of gives... a dark and emo edgelord sort of thing. It's inherently creepy lol and kind of disgusting, visceral, gloomy. Whereas Dorian is flashy and bright, immaculately groomed, intellectual, showy. It doesn't track, for me at least.
What I would have given him is a glyph-based specialisation. Like a more complex version of these:
And I would have woven time magic into it- so glyphs of haste, slowing, things like that. As it stands it makes little sense that the focus ability for necromancy is haste; it's only in there because of Dorian, like what has that got to do with raising the dead. I like the glyphs because they're very visually impressive, beautiful even. They're bright and flashy. I also think a mage would have to study glyphs carefully in order to "draw" them correctly. This works with Dorian's background as an academic/scholar, and time magic in general fits him, not just because he studied it with Alexius, but thematically as a "rebellious archivist" or a historian.
