I am subjecting you to my unique taste in portrait art. Whether it'll be well-received or not is unclear. Figurative art: sometimes written as figurativism, describes artwork that is clearly derived from real object sources and so is, by definition, representational. Any form of modern art that retains strong references to the real world and particularly to the human figure.

Dance of Death on BV Travelkeeper

Hans Holbein the Younger had a lot of ideas about how death approaches the rich, the poor, the powerful, and the not-so-much. Now your sims can too. Or at least 19 ways, as that's how many of his woodcuts are included in this set.

Let me introduce you to CHATEAU Part 2, a 37-item set for your Chateaus entrance and hallways.

An area that I was always longing to have more items for was a 'grand foyer'. I simply wanted to have proper french stairs but was too afraid of trying out creating them. I pulled myself together and made the stairs plus additional pieces such as curved landings and suitable french fence and railing pieces. Now that I made stone stairs, in the future I will also create a wooden one, the possibilities are endless :D.

Another Area I haven't touched for quite some time is proper historical pieces, but a chateau set can't live without them. I sat down and created a Lous XV console table as a full and quarter version ( actually I found a console table at Hotel de la Marine in Paris and had to recreate it with a twist and incorporated a Plumbob) and a Rococo Mirror inspired by an original from Athena Calderone's apartment. The Mirror comes in three height options. I also made a hanging light and a wall sconce. Two additional items that are less historic but more rustic are a round table, perfect for giant bouquet displays, and a potted Fiddle Leaf tree :)

In this month's set, you will also find a classic Parisian wooden floor, a black and white stone floor, and wallpaper with handpainted patterns( Which I created myself from scratch). I also didn't want to miss out on interior doors :)

Elsa Kids Room (Availible for Everyone!)

Hello! I was finally able to complete my new set before The Sims 5 came out. I thought I should publish it now before you swear at me. Just kidding. Thank you again and again for your understanding, support and beautiful messages. I love you guys so much. <3

Our set, as the name suggests, is about children. Actually, I don't play with kids in The Sims. (I don't even play in real life. I mean, I like kids, but sometimes they can be very noisy.) But if I want to make a room for children, I want it to be like this. Simple and stylish. It's more simple actually. Our set contains a total of 45 items. Apart from my own creations, I cloned Maxis's books from the game and included them in the set. But I will share it openly in the next post after that. Because I didn't make them, I just converted. Anyways. If we count them, there are 59 items.

The highlight of the set is the bunk beds. Bunk beds came late to The Sims 4, but it was also very nice when they arrived. It's really cool to place other items under the bunk bed. I've also designed suitable items for this. There are items such as seating groups, desk, dreseer / bookcase that you can use with bunk beds. And you can also hang curtains on the bunks if you want. (I didn't use the curtain slot type this time :)

When placing the bunk beds, you need to place the base part according to which side the ladder is on in the bedding part. It also works if you don't place it, but your sim will look strange when climbing a non-ladder side.

I also added brass-gold swatch to the items on request. But I'm sharing it as a recolor because I added it later. If you want extra swatches, you should download the file called "TaurusDesign_Elsa_KidsRoom_BrassSwatch.package". These appear as two objects in the game, and the brass option is the one with the gold-plated taurus logo.

Project: Wildflowers | Flower Artworks on 3 Maxis Meshes

I had these saved in my custom paintings folder for years before learning to recolour in-game paintings - and now I can, so I’m sharing! 

Included in this .rar file are 32 recolours, on the following Maxis Meshes: 16 recolours on Apartment Life's Albert's Discordia mesh - §1,400

6 recolours on Nightlife's A Stroke mesh - §1,700

6 recolours on Nightlife's Pineapple mesh - §850

As these are Maxis recolours, no mesh is required for these to work in-game. Files are foldered according to the mesh they're on (Albert's Discordia, A Stroke or Pineapple) and are numbered, e.g. wildflowers-astroke-01. The '2-Tile Shelves' are repositoried to the '1-Tile Shelves' and require them to function properly. Due to my own inexperience, the former are not actually wall shelves. Technically, they are floor shelves. But you can place them against the walls anyway. They also have less slots than the '1-Tile Shelves'. Oh, and I probably misspelt one or two of the desriptions. They're negligible but just thought to mention it. Sorry.

Today's treat is a series of base relief wood carvings on the Dancing Around the Tree wall hanging from Apartment Life. I wanted to try something different and I haven't seen many (any?) recolors of this mesh, even though I think it's pretty cute.

All the images, except for Danse Macabre, are AI-generated. There's AI weirdness in some of the images, but for me, it added an element of surrealism that worked here. Danse Macabre is from Michael Wolgemut's art in The Nuremberg Chronicles (1493). Frogs are an extra because I like frogs.

All files are clearly labeled and the preview images are included.

Possible issue: If you use Thread and Sandpaper's Sweet Down Low painting defaults, the thumbnail might appear too low in the catalog. I had to remove the file "EP8ALDancingAroundTheTree" and refresh the thumbnails. You can put the default back in after that and the thumbnails will stay fixed unless you delete your thumbnail package or refresh them.

One of my favourite furniture sets over the years has always been the Tivoli, Plantation set by blake_boy over at ModTheSims. As well as some super cute dressers by rgdyanne over at Sims2Artists. I heavily recommend both sets with this pack.

I've used it way too many times and around October of 2022, I ended up feeling like I wanted to work on some addons for it. I've always wanted to get into making actual objects in Sims 2 since I love making things for another irrelevant game I mod. I decided this would be a great way to try and learn.

Hello Everyone:),

I am happy to announce Fayun Part 2. This Set consist of 23 Living and Dining Room items.

Seating: Lets start with a set of items that I have fallen in love with and wanted my sims to have, its sofas and an srmchair designed by Vincent van Duysen for Zara Home. Its a modern take on traditional linen sofas and in my head they mix really well with the tradional chinese items that I created. The sofas come in 18 different swatches and you have a 3tile version, a loveseat and an armchair

Slate tables: I think something that also fits the vibe quite well are two table made from 'Virtual :D' Slate to bring in another more natural and rough component. You will get a coffee and an end table version.

More Ming Dynasty: I created two dining tables, a console table, a shelf, a dining chair and a stool ( comes as table version too) and used my 'Ming Dynasty' book again as inspiration.

Lights: I found a beautiful Chinese Tea house and recreated their candelabras, I think they have something Buddhist about them and thought they fit quite well to my Set. Additionally I made a traditional floor light and hanging lights for all three wall heights.

Clutter: For the first time I actually made a sculpture completly from scratch, a little chinese Lion sitting on top of an incense burner, also something you could find in a tea house :) I made a lily and a physalis vase for autumn and a plate with tangerines.
