strawhats my beloveds. It's the way Usopp was happy that Chopper was safe and wasn't the one that got burned. It's the way Sanji cooked that horrible monstrous shark because Luffy wanted to eat it. It's the way Zoro reminded Usopp that it was time for dinner and took his shoes back with him bc Usopp had forgotten them there. It's the way Usopp gave Nami a plate of food, and then Robin gave Chopper one. The found family to ever found family.

I've talked about this before here, once again thinking about how zoro and luffy have so much trust in each other, that oftentimes they don't even feel the need to worry about each other.

From luffy's side:

However, having complete trust in each other ≠ having zero concern for the other person. You can have complete faith in another person but still worry about them and don't want them to get hurt.

Luffy and zoro are confident in each other's abilities, but sometimes (quite often actually) they just can't help but worry... Especially when the other person is right there with them, where they can see the exact moment when they are about to get hurt/already hurt. (Because sometimes it is easier to cling to your faith when the other person's not around)

All im saying is that i love when monkey d. "he (zoro) can pull through anything!" luffy shows his worry-wart side to his first mate:)

Also while i'm at it, sometimes people use the moment in alabasta (when zoro's worrying about luffy) to question zoro's faith in his captain's strength. Once again reminding people that when you love/care about someone, you can both have complete utter faith but also can't help but worry about them at the same time. Sometimes one of the two is more dominant than the other one and that's OKAY. At that time it was kinda hard for zoro to suppress his worry-wart side for his captain, but that's FINE. Zoro's concern is VALID and it doesn't mean that sanji has more confidence in his captain's ability more than zoro (because believe me when i say, some people use that particular moment to shit on zoro's faith in luffy while praising sanji's faith in luffy a little too often for my own liking)

Thinking about skypiea and how much trust luffy put in his first mate, I'm ILL again.

"With you here... ... How could this happen?!"

Luffy couldn't even fathom the idea of zoro failing to keep the rest of the crew safe, like the idea seemed pretty much unthinkable. So for luffy to see his first mate lying there, beaten up, and unconscious???

But even after Skypiea luffy never loses his trust in zoro and i think that's beautiful.

Like, we all know the SHC means everything to luffy. So trusting zoro with his nakama means so muchh, you don't understand-

Inappropriate use of swords to heat rocks for Sanji's cooking. ( I get why there's as much Top Sanji as there is now, sir is like a whole Asian mom.)

AND Zoro just let's him get away with it.

Next to his *cooking prep buddy*. Hand delivering the meal to Zoro; Who also gets the last serving. Although he asked chopper to deliver the meals to his fav girls. Zoro looks surprised that he threw his bowl at him but I think we're all surprised sanji decided to sit with him...

I mean look at all that empty space next to Nami & Robin. But he decides *I'll go disturb Zoro*.

Then they gather a pile of huge logs for Luffy to have his campfire. (Joined at the hip much). This ep drove me insane.
