Hello hello!! First things first, sorry for taking SO LONG to answer, I had a ton of health issues the last couple of months >.<

Secondly, thank you SO MUCH for being so kind!! I saw all your reblogs of that huge answer for such a tiny thing I did and thank you. I'm really happy you like my style too, that makes me smile!

Now now, about your question on whump, I'm gonna be very honest, I had to Google it to make sure we're on the same page HAHAHAHAHAHA

Jokes aside, I know it's sort of a term for hurt/comfort fanfiction - but it's not really clear to me if it's a kink thing or not.

Because you see, if you're talking about hurt and comfort, I mean, that's basically what I write HAHAHAHA writing for the Devil May Cry fandom, inevitably someone will be hurt/tortured/mentally abused somehow.

Or impaled. A lot.

(I mean, that's all this bitch has done for the past 5 games)

And also there's the whole thing with Vergil, his twin brother, being kept as a slave in Hell for 20(?) years and coming back after dragging his crumbling body out of there to find out he has a son and being the peak of cluelessness in the Universe - and me being adamant he deserves love after all that.

So I guess everything I write has a LOT of hurt - and I even put some serious warnings before the fics, 'cause everyone is traumatized in this household - but despite of that, they still can find love, happiness and somewhat soothe all that pain and trauma.

(dramatic, real, horrible, but stil comforting xD)

As a kink, though, I don't enjoy it - and I also don't enjoy putting characters I love through pain and suffering just because. That's why I have a love/hate relationship with horror media: I LOVE horror, but I HATE exploitation.

Movies that have just people being abused, hurt, dismembered and all that kind of horrible stuff happening just because without a real reason to be on the plot - meaning, torture porn - just make my blood boil. And there's a lot of that in horror.

I like when things are more psychological and actually have a REASON to be there. So, in my writing, I'll never torture a character just for the pleasure of doing so and for the pleasure of the reader, I need a point out of it.

For instance, on my cyberpunk-style story, both main characters have gone through a terrible experience together and lost someone who was really dear to them. Both of them went through a lot of physical pain, lost some limbs and needed to install cyberprosthesis, and lost everything they had worked for til that point in their lives.

Horrible, yes. But they had to go through it so I could start the story: because of all of this, the guy made an anarchist/terrorist group and just wants to burn down the city along with the people in power who allowed all that to happen to him, while the woman becomes the best killer for hire so she can get enough money to live and, eventually, retire.

All that physical and psychological pain is a very important plot point and I can't take it away from the story, or else there's no story to begin with. Meanwhile, every time I'm writing I'm thinking "how can I make this as unpleasant as I can so the reader can understand the crushing feeling of all of this?" hahahahaha

That's why I'm not into pain kink - I respect everyone who is, but I can't do it, I feel no pleasure from it.

That's my opinion, I think. For pleasure's sake, I don't like it, but for plot, I really like it. I think it has a hopeful note to it - that even after the storm, the days will shine bright again, you just have to go on. That's what I enjoy from writing things like this, the hope.

Who would've known, I'm not 100% a bitter bitch hahaha

Reading my personal original stories, I think all of them have a painful background and many unpleasant scenes. But I like it, because it's human nature and how life is: bad things will happen, we can just try to make the good ones count even more :)

1. Are you named after anyone? Ehhhh technically my mother chose my first name from Meggie in The Thorn Birds (though with a different spelling of Meghann. I'm Megan, and I generally dislike being called Meggie... It's p rare that I respond to being called that.)

2. When was the last time you cried? ... Yesterday? I almost cried today from reading a post someone made, but not full crying. That happened yesterday. I am a very easy crier.

3. Do you use sarcasm? Who? Me?!... Please. Of course I do. Far more than I ought to at that. It's the flip side to my insecurity probably -an abundance of snark.

4. What's the first thing you notice about people? That really depends on how I meet or come across those people. In person - probably eyes and the way people watch/listen- I'm likely looking to see how people might be judging me ( or more specifically my body.) Online - if people are funny or engaging. Are you thoughtful - it's a place where you CAN lead with your thoughts first - so does someone? or do they take the LCD and run with it ( AKA be a total troll or send a dick pic - that sort of thing. UGH to both)

5. What's your eye color? Something somewhat indeterminate? Meh I usually say gray-green. It's a mix of my dad's gray-blue and my mom's green gold hazel. the gray and green got mish-mashed together and there's a tiny tiny gold rim right around the pupil. idk man. my eyes are very color. (like the creature is very shape.)

6. Scary movie or happy ending? Considering that i am very easy to scare - i have made myself jump by forgetting a stationary object was on a table and then when i saw it there i was so surprised i jumped- i rarely go for scary movies. Happy ending please... (i am working SO much not to make jokes with that. I deserve a treat now.)

7. Any special talents? Clearly. I am talented at not allowing myself to make dirty jokes (see above question's response.) Other than that, I don't think so? I don't want to make self deprecating remarks (wow I am just avoiding all the jokes tonight, right?!) - I think there are things I do well, but I wouldn't necessarily call them special talents. I cannot belly dance, strike an apple sitting on your head with an arrow, or put a knot in a cherry stem with my tongue. Your girl has no party pieces. (and if I *were* making bad jokes - here is where I woul say, " I AM the party piece." But that would be a lie. I don't like parties very much XD )

8. Where were you born? In a hospital. That's what this question was looking for, right? (confused? see the answer above re sarcasm.)

9. What are your hobbies? art journaling, knitting, reading, occasionally baking, watching tv and movies more than i ought to, playing with makeup (not good at it but i like it) - and when the finances are they darling - shopping for cute things (which might pertain to the above or might just generally be sparkly and/or adorable.

10. Do you have any pets? Not that are mine personally right now B UT the house I am living in her several. There are two dogs that are permanent residents ( Peat and Lily - border terrier siblings that are like 15 years old I think. Two dogs that live here part time - Nova and bailey - who are probably 4 and 11 respectively. Then three parrots (two greater mccaws of differing kinds - Mello and Maddie, and one lesser Mccaw - uh i think anyway- and that's Emma Peel - yes named for the avengers tv character). And two bearded dragons ( differing kinds) - Fred and Apollo. There will also be a puppy joining the household in probably a month or less - one of the people in the house is getting a Lakenois puppy out of a litter so there will be that. I'll enjoy there being a puppy around but gotta say i have learned things about myself living with this many animals. (namely that I do not want to be responsible for this many animals. especially squawky birds. good for you if you do.)

11. What sports do you play/have played? i don't play any now .. but seriously i was never sporty really. I played volleyball and softball when in middle school but does that even count? i like swimming but i was never going to be competitive at it when i was young. i was short and round not lean and long - so that was not gonna happen for me

12. How tall are you? 5'4" (slightly under it but close enough)

13. What was your favorite subject in school? I liked school pretty well generally - most of it was good - I didn't always like what we had to read but I liked English (aka Lit classes), History ( or government) , and some science courses (bio, advanced bio, physics) <-- in high school. Beyond that - ART HISTORY ( i should have found a way to major in it - or at least minor in it. I liked it better than either of my actual majors - and more than some of grad school classes too. seriously art history is way more fun than talking about budgeting in public administration. )

14. Dream job? The best answer to this is one I am stealing from a post here on tumblr or on twitter (idk) and that is, " I simply do not dream of labor." Seriously,I'm not sure any more. I think being a museum curator could be amazing, or like a special collections librarian ( if you dig the collection)... But I also think something where I could make a difference and change health policy in this country would be great - I'm not sure just what that would be or mean. I can't sew at all but i think being a fashion designer and making floofy dresses for myself would be cool. Fairy Princess- there we go - that's the job for me.

I picked my LN cuz I don't remember how things went with Demiurge(being Demiurge) and oh boy, he did firstly offer to kill her to prevent the information from getting outside XD. He did propose for her to work on his farm tho! (ngl lie when you said you thought Demiurge and Sebas would fight over what Tuare would do for Nazarick... I thought of some unexpected, sick threesome XD) Also, uhh, according to what he said later, I guess he wanted for her to cook food for the residents of the happy farm. You know, food made of other residents. (#justdemiurgethings). I wonder if that would be a true torture for Tuare. After all, she doesn't care much about humans right now. XD But yep, Overlord is so dark, it's such a nice change from all of those isekai-ed good dudes. Especially overpowered isekai-ed good dudes. I agree tho, out of context Overlord is the best (mm, ah yes, that plan? THAT plan? Yes, you're so smart Demiurge, so then I'll allow you to describe MY plan to everyone)

I been writing a bit more since these years ago. Even started a writing blog for Resident Evil (mop man Carlos <3). Not active for 2 years now, basically disappeared with small info xD. Nah, such writing isn't really for me. Still writing tho, but only rps. So hey, it's amazing to see you're still writing! <3

(( don't care if you post or not )) matchup please, preferably between the boys, but it doesn't matter. have fun with it <3 I have a bad time describing myself, so I just decided to add some photos of myself. I also added a piece of my art, since I also mention it and it helps give some insight. My name is Acid/Gore or Ace, I go by he/they/it/xe(transgender ftm). I'm a gay(don't really like labels, but yeah) dude who likes to draw and write. I'm an aries, March 31st to be exact. I tend to draw a lot, so I draw anyone who lets me. I don't always show them though, especially if I don't like the piece. I can be a bookworm, it's honestly an on and off thing. I tend to ramble, especially on topics I like. I have Anxiety, MDD, and PTSD. I like dying my hair, like one week I bleach it, the next its red, and then bleached again, and then blue. You never know with me to be honest. I hyperfixate on a lot of things. My room is either very messy or very clean, no in between. I'm either very loud or very quiet, once again no in between lol. Monster and coffee addict, literally have so many monster cans I collect. I have to have some sort of way to listen to music on me, whether its a phone or an mp3. I like to sing sometimes, but not really at the same time? Social anxiety is a thing, but I know what to do when it gets bad. I normally go into a more non-crowded place and calm myself down. Motorcycles are my favorite thing to ride. I'm a really creative person, even if I can't do a project at that moment. I'm more of a snacker than I am a meal-eater, so I snack all day and eat at dinner time. Although I do have days where I don't want to eat at all, so I need someone there to help and make sure I atleast eat something. I listen to almost any type of music, minus country. I listen to a lot of rock like KoRn and/or Guns n' Roses. I throw on whatever, but I have more of a dark style. Normally either black, dark grey, grey, light grey, or like one white thing I'm wearing. I'm 5'0. I wear platforms a lot though, chokers and chains as well. I'm kinda of an aggressive person, dirty jokes are a must. Smoking doesn't bother me, nor does drinking. I'm poly, so it really don't matter. This honestly may be biased, but I feel like I could go with any of the boys.

EEEEE my first match-up i’m really really excited!!!

Okay so first of all, I had a very hard time deciding which boy to go with because like you said, I do think you’d go well with any of them. I had such a hard time deciding that in the end I decided to go with two of them because you did mention you were also poly.

So for the first boy, this one was blatantly obvious to me, I chose Paul. You mentioned being a total coffee and monster addict so you’d fit so well with him because he’s just a giant ball of energy. Y’all would honestly probably have contests to see who could chug monsters faster. You don’t mind smoking - which is good, because Paul is high out of his mind almost 24/7.

Dirty jokes you say? Paul is the king of them. Everything in life can be solved with some dirty humor according to this boy. Y’all could go back and forth for hours with the humorous banter.

Now the second boy is where I had a bit more trouble because I was honestly torn between David and Marko. I headcanon both as aggressive and territorial people which always fit so well with an Aries’ personality.

However, upon further reading into your description I went with Marko. You mentioned loving to draw and dying your hair every other week and Marko is the most artistic of all the boys.

Y’all could sit for hours just drawing anyone and everyone and he would definitely be down to help you dye your hair all different kinds of wacky colors and styles. You’re both either very quiet or very loud - absolutely no in between and I feel like he would really appreciate your love for music and always needing to have something on your person that allows you to listen freely.

He’s also another residential dirty joker of the group so all three of you could literally have contests of who could come up with the dirtiest one of the entire night.

Overall, I think you’d go extremely well with either (or both😼) of these vampires because you are quite literally the exact same as them (just shorter xD)

Thank you for the kind words, really! Means so much to me! As for your request, you can ABSOLUTELY have some bathtub fun times! I’ve written them in the tub before, but I have NOT done hanky panky, and shame on me for that.

“I still can’t believe you let me do this.”

Kohga and Sooga were in Kohga’s bath, and both were in the middle of undoing their hair from their classic yiga styling. Kohga chuckled as he fluffed it up in his hands.

“What? Be in my bathroom?”

“Yes. Many of us find it a rather sacred place, and it means a lot, that you deem me worthy of this.”

“‘Worthy’ this and ‘worthy’ that with you. I like you, and you look good naked, it ain’t that deep.”

He held Sooga’s face in his hand, lightly squeezing his chin.

“BUT. It’s sweet, in a way, knowing it means something to you. It’s why I got you a little something.”

Kohga let go of his face, in order to dig into the cabinet. From it, he pulled out a yellow candle, giving it to Sooga.

“This is...for me?”

“Yeah, your favorite is those electric Safflina , right? Saw this candle at the market yesterday, figured you’d really like it.”

“Oh. That’s...very kind of you to remember. Thank you.”

“God you’re smiling that big, dumb smile of yours. Just light it and get in the tub with me.”

Kohga always waved off any sort of praise from Sooga like that. Such simple gestures were nothing to Kohga, but they were everything to Sooga. Sooga lit the candle (along with god knows how many others Kohga liked to have around), before joining him in the tub. There was something so indulgent about Kohga’s tub. Full of flowers, steam, and fragrances, it was like a spa. And what else did a spa have? A handsome guy there to give just the best spa treatment. Aka, Sooga, massaging his scalp in his favorite shampoo.

“Master Kohga, please stop squirming, you know it needs to sit for a moment.”

“Wouldn’t squirm if you’d stop touchin’ my damn ears!”

“...Your ears are cute, I never get to see them.”

Kohga grumbled something about Sooga being a sap, before he begrudgingly let Sooga continue. Sooga, ever since he was allowed in the bath, assumed full responsibility of making sure Kohga was clean. It was annoying, but it was cute, and less work on his end. Plus...it felt nice, having those big, nice hands roaming his frame. It was nice, how careful he was with him. And how there wasn’t a single spot he wouldn’t clean. From his back, to his arms...right to his legs. Kohga leaned up against Sooga, and stopped his hand as soon as it went between his legs. He didn’t wash there TOO much, for ‘honors sake’ as he put it, but why would he have Sooga half ass something with him? Just wasn’t right.

“You know Sooga, you really should take more care of me, if I let you do this.”

“Pardon?”

“I’m saying you need to really clean me here. If YOU’RE gonna do it, do it right.”

Kohga saw the wheels turning in his big, dumb head, and it took him SO long to process what he meant.

“Ah. I see. I suppose I have been slacking, Master Kohga. Please, do forgive me.”

He wrapped an arm around Kohga, before using his other hand to start to lightly stroke Master Kohga’s cock. He was always so slow at first. It was cute, but god dammit Kohga liked his shit right out of the gate. He was going to complain about it, before Sooga leaned down, and pressed his lips against Kohga’s, It was soft, smooth kiss, and it kinda made Kohga forget that Sooga’s hand could be going MUCH faster. Kohga chuckled once they parted, cupping the side of his face.

Kohga chuckled, leaning up to peck at his neck. He sighed as he relaxed in Sooga’s arms, starting to feel that build up in his gut. He let Sooga look at him in eagerness, before he finally relented.

Hey guys :)

Maybe I'm going chronological for one time, so I can sort my thoughts easier.

Yeah, Goldie's much mire active than I would've thought, too. But they did all those things to keep me alive and kind of save, since we still don't know who they are exactly working against. (I mean, we don't know who Goldie exactly is either, but you get my point)

Honestly, I am pretty sure the TSB timeline is continuing, at least if my theory that Goldie just set me back in an alternate timeline is true. In this case I feel sorry for TSB, though..Extremely sorry. He still was 'my' Jake back then, even though he acted weird in the end (maybe was manipulated by entities). I mean, if what he wrote was true he went with authorities. And in the end..this could've been his downfall.

And yeah, maybe I'm not exactly safe, but I just have to go back. If I go, and if I lose my job, I have some things to sort out. And Jake luckily agreed with me that clearing up my desk isn't the worst thing I can do before leaving. We're still thinking about a location, which I could luckily deside myself. Max agreed on that. Even though he still has some doubts. (I mean, of course...His cousin opened the door with bruises all over her face.) He did promise to not ask any questions until I feel ready, though. That gives myself and Jake some time to figure that out.

And also, Jake is right! We have three Jakes and three smart people. YUVON. And of course Goldie, like you said Yu :) And some information about the previous timeline. (And that was it with being chronological)

So yeah, like I said, Max and I'll go. And I also think we can be pretty certain now that the message came from Goldie not the MWAF (which is relieving). I saw the messages and they didn't make Jake the bad guy. I honestly just don't think I can quote them yet. (They're too good, but I probably start daydreaming if I do) But they talk about Jake being an important part of my life and my heart and Max protecting me when he cannot. My dear cousin jumped to conclusions when he saw my bruised face. About Max' phone...I'll probably throw it in a river or something if he brings it with him. I told him not to, also because of Jake (he's not only worried about the MWAF apparently...He didn't exactly say it out loud, but I think it's pretty obvious) but he loves this device.

And I emphasize with you about the being kidnapped thing, you'll manage it, I know it :) And if I need to jump dimensions and box some sense into your Crow-Crew xD

No but for real, you can do that. I know it :)

Jake, find a good point in time to talk to her. But do it :)

Otherwise, I still think the 'underlying desire' theory is a possibility! But, like always in the moment, we could be wrong.

As for my stasis, I really do not wish to talk to more people who think I've been kidnapped. And I am a bit scared that could somehow lead to either them or me being in more danger again. But for now we have to wait.

Hello Jake, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am not quite sure in which way Liska will handle giving you my message, but she promised me to not read it for now.

I don't know whether she told you before or not, but as far as I am concerned she realised I am not only worried about the MWAF chasing her.

With me breaking out of this stasis I am sure that my followers aren't that far behind. And I know you can't do anything from where you are, but cross checking way to protect her doesn't seem to bad to me. Especially since we are similar but still fairly different from each other. At least it seems like that from what I have read.

For my part, I recently improved and updated Nym-OS which allows me access to Liskas whereabouts. If Yuvon should read this, she knows and agrees to it.

Still I am yet stuck on one little detail: I am trying to help Nym-OS in counterattacking. So, even though I am sure you already knoe this yourself, Nym-OS gets the ability to access location of the people attacking Liskas phone. I am almost done with that, so we are able to see a bit easier if and where people are that could be a danger.

Do you have any other ideas for ways I could help? Or even improve what I am doing momentarily. I wouldn't normally ask this since I know and trust my skills, but I think that this is fairly different from a 'normal situation'.

I am glad it was Goldie who contacted Max. Yuvon's suggestion for an excuse seems a good one, as there are far less things to remember that way. You simply need to oversimplify everything.

I do not, unfortunately, entirely believe that Yuvon was joking when she made that comment, based on previous comments and her ongoing guilt. I can't understand sometimes why she feels the need to lie so much. It is difficult for me to read people, much less her.

I will speak to her eventually. Early tomorrow, perhaps, if nothing else rears its head. Yuvon looks tired, and I am also admittedly not at my peak. I sincerely hope she does not wake up as early as she does every single day. It may get somewhat taxing, what with the lack of coffee here.

It is a pleasure to meet you as well, despite the unusual circumstances.

That our pursuers may be freed from the stasis is a logical conclusion. Seeing as the last known location I had on them in my universe was approximately five hundred miles from Duskwood, they will likely be some of the first to free themselves from the stasis. I do not believe I need to warn you that time is of the essence.

It seems as if I am a small distance ahead of you in the development of countermeasures, perhaps because I have had more linear time to develop them. If you are where I think you are at in the development, you likely have or will soon hit a bug you cannot pin down that makes the pinpointing mechanism simply refuse to work at all. Presuming your and my version of NYM-0S are similar enough, the issue should lie in the public bool set in line 132 of the third part of the targeting script, the script that decides what constitutes a target; you have it defaulted to "false" where it should default to "true".

As for additional countermeasures: I was attempting to work on a rudimentary automated system of pattern detection when I was brought here. Essentially, its function would be such that it would be able to triangulate using the locator features already installed to find a rough estimate of where their headquarters might be. However, I have not found any way thus far to eliminate outliers, and as such the feature is currently next to useless. I am no longer able to work on the code, but perhaps you will have more luck than I did.

That is all I can think of for the moment on that subject. However, I have an odd theory on what may be part of the reason we vary so. If you have a moment to spare, please answer me this:

When I was very young, back when Mother was still around, she took me to a doctor for odd behaviors. This included not looking people in the eyes, but there was a list. I was given a diagnosis; if you had the same experience, you should likely know which one.

Did you have this experience? If so, please prove it by stating what the diagnosis was.

Do not worry if you do not know what I am talking about; I would rather you did not guess. Simply state that you don't know. It will confirm my theory.

To be honest, this would totally help. I’ll have a go (thank you, saviour).

You all know I write my OCs as readers considering the reader inserts are wildly sought after on this site lol. BUT I adore writing about my OCs & have tons of stories with them that I keep to myself and read when I’m down, so here we go!

The 4 I’ve yet to write include Tallulah Cullen (Twilight), Matilda Northman (True Blood), Akela (The Witcher) & Clark Kent’s sister, who I’m yet to create an OC for (atm my only JL OC is Arthur Curry’s sister, Ani) so I won’t write these questions for her considering I don’t really know her.

WARNING: this is going to get long. I apologise & a big pat on the back to whoever actually reads it.

10) How open is your oc to trying new things? Are they the adventurous sort, or would they rather stay in their comfort zone? Why?

Tallulah: I think, honestly, Tallulah’s been a vampire so long she’s not sure she has anything new left to try lol. She’s older than her siblings by a lot and is often lost with these kinds of things. Though if there is ever anything new, I’d say she’d be absolutely open to trying them out! During the events of the books/movies, I’m sure there were many of these opportunities, what with Bella and the excitement and adventure she brought along with her. So, yes. No comfort zone for T, though perhaps there was one once.

Matilda: Tilly’s pretty restricted with what she can and can’t do (having Eric as your guardian will do that to you lol) but again, like Tallulah, with the events of the books/series, a lot happens that she’d be involved with, and it’s all a bit adventurous and out of her comfort zone. She’s used to the so-called quiet life, considering Eric keeps her out of his business so she remains safe, so after meeting Sookie and all the disruption she brings to her life, I’ve always thought it to be quite a big thing for her. As she grows older however, she certainly grows used to it, and perhaps rebels a bit against her guardian to join in on the excitement he’d rather she stay away from.

Akela: Akela’s whole life is trying new things. She never knows if her day will be quiet or not so much. If she’ll be sleeping under the stars or in an inn. If she’ll have a great, peaceful ride or someone will run up to them, thrusting money at Geralt and asking him to kill a monster. (Seems like a nicely spontaneous life, minus the monsters). Tbh I think she likes it. She’d like her life to be completely safe with no interruptions, but in all honestly she’d get bored after a while, and really, if her life was all sweet and honey, then Geralt wouldn’t be the same, and that’s the last thing she’d want. I think her comfort zone is very small, and not demanding at all. She’s ready to try whatever, as long as it guarantees her and her Witcher’s safety!

15) What is your oc’s favourite time of day? Why is this? Do they have a daily practice during this time?

Tallulah: I’ll be a bit stereotypical here and say her favourite time of day is night. She doesn’t sparkle, she can blend in with the humans completely... and I guess she just likes it in general because of the dark, and the peace that often offers. She sometimes goes hunting with her family in the dark, and she has many memories of those times that she holds onto.

Matilda: Yet another vampiric-stereotypical answer, but Tilly’s favourite time of day is definitely the exact moment the sun is out of sight. Because then Eric’s instantly safe, and she can spend as much time with him as his ‘duties’ and his job allows. Another human’s favourite time might be day, because that’s when the most happens, and Tilly’s is night for the exact same reason. To her it’s simply normal - she’s always slept during the day to adhere to her vampire guardians’ routine - and she knows no difference.

Akela: Night. (Apparently all my OCs are night owls, guys). She likes her evenings and her nights, right before she sleeps, because most of her memories from those times are of her lying next to Geralt on blankets, under a starlit sky. It’s totally quiet, save for the nightlife, and the two of them can just lie there and let the trials of the day wash away as they stare at the stars. A simple delight.

29) How empathetic is your oc? Or are they closer to being a sociopath? Any reason why?

Tallulah: Hundreds of years as a vampire has definitely made Tallulah more in touch with people’s emotions. She 100% takes after her father in the compassion side of things. He’s taught her to hang onto most of her humanity, and she’s never fed from a human in her life. I can’t see her hurting a fly. Sociopath? Never.

Matilda: Tilly... is perhaps more sociopath than empath, but that’s something that changes over the years. She’s young at the beginning of the show, and she worships Eric and (discreetly) wants to follow him wherever he goes. That doesn’t change so much, but she finds herself over time, and learns to give in to her human instincts. I definitely think Eric’s growing appreciation for humans after meeting Sookie makes her more aware of her true self, and she makes friends she wouldn’t have ever thought about making, and generally just becomes less afraid to be herself. She learns to understand people’s feelings - and her own - which is something she probably found difficult to do when solely around vampires. (Though in saying that, she probably begins to learn a lot more about how Eric’s feeling. That’s shown in the DWC I’ve yet to write lol).

Akela: For as much as Akela loves Geralt, and for as much as she grew up under his guiding hand, she certainly didn’t adopt his so-called ‘emotionless’ Witcher persona. Really, that’s a victory on Geralt’s side. She’s 100%, totally human, and that’s something he wouldn’t take away from her (tbh he does his best to keep her away from anything Witcher-y that could change her from who she perfectly is). But, in all honesty, I do think Akela gets her selfless and empathetic nature from Geralt. Discreetly, of course. That guy is a different person when he’s with her, though it might be difficult to see, and he’s honestly just a Good Dad, however much he’d strive to disprove it.

31) What is your oc’s sense of humour like? What do they find funny? Do they try to be funny? Are they actually?

Tallulah: Tallulah has big brothers. I think that speaks for itself. XD Though perhaps not all of them... mainly Emmett and Jasper. And Alice. They like to make her laugh. Probably Emmett’s main goal in life. BUT, similar to the first question, Tallulah is an old vampire, and she’s probably heard most jokes and developed a sense of humour that’s different to the others’, if that makes sense. Though I’ve always had her as the vampire who was turned at 16 and, in all honesty, is still 16, deep deep down. Her maturity isn’t crazily more than any other 16 yo’s.

Matilda: God. I don’t think she’d have much of a sense of humour. Tilly’s life is vampires, blood, ‘stay away from humans despite being human’... when she meets Sookie and the others, and her humanity starts shining, her sense of humour becomes more human. She can joke around without worrying that Eric will take it too seriously or Pam will insult her (Pam insults everyone but she still loves Tilly, don’t worry). So, yeah. Matilda’s life doesn’t leave much room for humour, but it sneaks in somehow as the years go on - not to mention Eric’s not an ass to her and does treasure her smile and her laugh above all else in his long life.

Akela: Oh, Akela lives on humour. She loves to insult Geralt, and he loves to insult her right back. That’s just them. And it’s pretty damn perfect. Not to mention when Jaskier joins their dysfunctional family, you’d be pretty robotic to not laugh or smile even once when in his presence. As for if Akela’s actually funny... I’d say definitely. She counts it a victory if she says something and Geralt’s lips turn upwards the tiniest bit. Making a Witcher smile is something to celebrate.

Whoo. I loved that. Now to go write.

Writer Nonnie and I apparently have no clue how to write kids. I'm thinking about what Alice sees and does and reacts but it feels like there's some sort of block. Yes a 7 year old CAN be bubbly and imaginative but they're also starting that "I am responsible!" phase.... Right? I'm drawing a blank here.

Oof. I feel you, Writer Nonnie. Not helped by “discinctly remember childhood and nooot aaaat aaaaallllll those Development Reference Charts even a little.” Which, to be fair, so far most kids I’ve interacted with since becoming an adult don’t act like that, either.

But, in general they seem to find the most random things funny, whether it’s a particular sound, their own joke, or how something looks. Or they laugh at nothing in particular, especially if tired or understimulated. Also kinda why kids will just randomly spin around until dizzy and collapsing (or...in my case, made myself Hunk Levels of motionsick. Buuut never stopped me, either xD )

One kid randomly said “V8 IS GOOD FOR YOU!!!”, ran off, then faceplanted in the wet grass. And a lot of kids like staring at you through their hair while making silly sounds or voices (and laughing before they fully “commit” to whatever character they made up on the spot. Girls tend to do that one more, but only because they’re allowed to grow long hair without adults throwing tantrums. A few tween boys with “skater hair” do that one, too.)

And around 7-and-older, they’re starting to be able to Reason. But if they don’t know the Reasoning behind a rule (or like said rule), they’ll find some way to rebel. And sometimes they’re simply impulsive and Don’t Think Things Through or break said rule, anyway, not to rebell but just to do it since it Seems Fun. (Or harmless, anyway.)

And they can still get pretty hysterical when tired or bored or cranky. Think randomly bursting into tears or yelling but not knowing Why/What they want (or fixated on something they wanted but were denied, like a second turn on those coin-operated rides)...only that they’re feeling out of sorts. This seems to be especially true for kids who struggle with Under and/Or Over stimulation. (Sometimes trying to get straight to what they’re needing (rest, food, change of environment/activity for the Stimulation Shenanigans) seems to help...but it also demands a helluva lotta patience that’s harder to keep when in the thick of it.

And these are all just my observations.

So...TL;DR

-kids will laugh at Random Things that sometimes only exist in their POV, or do/say Random Things to satisfy stimulation needs

-Kids can actually understand logic, and logic definitely works better than Because I Said So or threats.

-they’ll still rebel or simply do things on impulse, even if they understand the Why and How. (And either via Int and/or Wis.)

-their emotions are Strong, especially since things can quite literally be The Very Best or Absolute WORST for them since they just don’t have the same life experience in addition to their brains still developing and growing with the rest of them

-Tired, Bored, and Hungry can make them teary, whiny, or outright angry. And often they don’t understand that’s what’s making them out of sorts and project onto something else completely unrelates.

One thing’s for sure, Wonderland/Underland will definately have a smorgasbord of stuff for SmolAlice to be amused or completely DONE with.

But...yeah. Anyone who spends more time with kids than my Occational, please feel free to jump in and add on and/or correct anything I got wrong.

what is a demon's purpose in uxor? Like i guess i'm imagining like someone who wreaks havoc and does the devil's work -- i.e. i'm operating on the popular imagination assumptions. it seems like draco and tom are markedly not like that tho lol

They’re a separate “humanoid” species that come from a parallel plane/dimension. But because magic is a force of energy in this universe, they are sometimes connected by it. That allows magic-bearers from the Vesperis dimension to use magic in the human dimension and allow allows for Tom’viathan’s magical brother and sisters-in-law to be born in Vesperis or in the human realm.

There’s a bunch of lore that I’m too tired to type out that Hermione has to learn anyway concerning it all.

But basically a common theme/trope I liked to use back in the days when I wrote Twilight fanfiction (it’s all taken down, good fucking luck finding evidence of it aside from this admission xD) is that “Vampires” are actually like this super-race of alpha humans, and that humans are a biologically less advanced evolution of them. So the real top of the food chain was “Vampires” who were alive, had heartbeats, and all that, and then “No Bloods” (twilight’s nonsense vampires) were actually in a perpetual stasis, and could “complete their transformation” to become real vampires. So basically “Vampires” ended up being seen as higher beings throughout human history, and were thereby responsible for most supernatural lore - including Angels and Demons - which was important because of a highly religious backstory a certain character had that my dumb fucking brain decided to explain that way. Good Vampires got written down as angels/saviors because they had magic and used it in ways that benefited humanity. Bad ones were hellions because they did whatever the fuck they want. This is a super watered down explanation if you can believe it but THE POINT IS -

I’m not gonna get into why that particular Twilight Lore Fix became a thing unless someones asks about it BUT I’m kinda using that logic in Uxor. The “Demons” are really just a more biologically advanced species that isn’t terribly far off from us normal humans. But they have magic so shiny.

The “Demons” aren’t actual demons in the religious sense. But that’s what they’re best known for, since these demons are very amorous and obviously the Princes’ magic heavily revolves around sex and finding their mate - plus all the sinful biological aspects of that

4: how do you take your coffee/tea?

- If it’s “just” coffee, than i prefer it with a dash of milk. But i also love “fancy drinks” like Pumpkin Spice Latte, Latte Macchiato and the good old Cappuccino. Tea: Without sugar.

6: do you keep plants?

- I already answered to this one, so i hope you don’t mind me copying and pasting the answer here: Yes i do! I love my plants! Although i do not have any windowsills (i live in an attic flat), i do have 10 plants in my living room alone (on the floor or standing on little wooden benches.

11: what’s an inner joke you have with your friends?

- Uh oh... It’s been a while so let me think. As for my best friend and myself, we used to sign letters or postcards for each other with “R32″. There once was an advertisement preseting funny abbreviations for usual terms/messages and “R32″ stood for “I like/love you”. And we often use the quote “Big Bada Boom” from “The 5th element”. Um... Usually, when we’re together, one inner joke hunts the next - it’s kind of a natural habit. But would you believe it? I couldn’t think of another rn.

63: are you fussy about your books and music? do you keep them meticulously organized or kinda leave them be?

- Funny enough (and NOT an answer to the question in the first place), i DO actually organize my movies/series’, regardless of whether they’re on DVD/BluRay or on a streaming platform. Movies and series’ i OWN i do run an alphabetic sorted list about. When it comes to books or music: I do not sort them alphabetically, but i do have “sections” on my shelf like arthurian related books, fantasy-, art- and history-books, and i do not exactly organize my music either, except for maybe a handful or two theme-related fanmixes i assembled on my phone. You can decide whether that counts or not ;).

100: if you were presented with two buttons, one that allows you to go 5 years into the past, the other 5 years into the future, which one would you press? why?

- I thank you so much for asking me the 100th question, bc yes, you’re right, this number means a whole lot to me - tho i almost prefer “101″... y’know... “101, counting Bellamy”... ;) But anyway, since there isn’t a 101st question i love the fact that you chose the 100th for me. But the question itself is really a hard one... Ouf... Okay... Let me think again...

Do i really HAVE to choose? Bc i... tbh... i don’t want to do any of that. If i do go back 5 years in my past i’d probably stuck in the same, miserable condition i was back then, completely abandoning myself and my health, eat too much, relish in the feeling of being ill and pampered all the time... i don’t know. I am a new person now bc of the shit that happened to me over the course of the last years. It was awful. But it was necessary to bring me back on track. (But i don’t want to go through all this again.) And 5 years in the future... no. I don’t really want to know. I’m already too old to just easily skip 5 precious years of my lifetime just to know what’s waiting there for me.

So my answer has to be: Neither. And i listed my reasons above.
