jfk: hes pan. “if theres a hole, theres a goal!” -jfk, probably /hj. he genuinely felt something for joan when they dated, but he knew that she wasnt gonna stay for long. also hes a mullet-haver. sry i dont make the rules!! hes dating abe (im right about this. i am and im not arguing.)

joan: genuinely the only character in the entire show that i think is 100% only into men. i know that might get me into some drama but idc! shes only shown attraction to men!!! but also to counterpoint that, i think he’s genderfluid and doesn’t care about pronouns. she felt something for jfk, but that feeling was Horny. she really only wanted to date jfk for the sex. which, if you look at season 2, is pretty much canon. he has a fat crush on abe, still, but when jfk gets with him, she decides that she’s done with crushes and dating for a while.

abe: hes bisexual. he is and im right! his crush on joan was one of those things where you convince yourself to like someone but in reality you only think of them as a friend. he ACTUALLY has a crush on jfk but he doesnt realize that until joanfk break up (rivals to lovers moment?) after breaking up with cleo after prom, they don’t talk for a bit, but once cleo realizes she’s a lesbian she decides to befriend abe again, and the two of them plus frida form a cute little friend group and they gossip. also abe lets them give him makeovers cuz why not!

cleo: shes a lesbian. she never showed genuine attraction to a man until john dark, and even then, it was because he was actually joan in disguise. she only wanted to date these guys for power and popularity. so when frida enters the picture, cleo isnt sure how to feel. shes confused and weirded out and she doesnt know how to express those feelings. so she flirts. it starts off as a joke, like a “hey shawty bae we’re just besties but i’d kiss you” to an actual genuine crush. also she gets a better mom when shes unfrozen. because she deserves it.

gandhi: hes asexual and bi (fem pref). hes dating marie curie :) theyre cute :)!!! im not counting season 2 as canon for this, so he got unfrozen along with everyone else. he has this whole enemies thing with topher, but he doesnt consider topher his enemy. topher considers gandhi a rival but not the other way around. gandhi thinks topher should chill out a bit, but considers him as a friend.

i might expand on this later actually cuz right now im like burnt out and my brain is fried from staying up till 5am (oops.) anyways i have a BUNCH more if you want them :)

Its Thursday night. You bored in your house, so you said to your mom you will go to hangang river, to let loose everything that stressed you out.

You were just wondering, what your life could be if he still in the picture. If you had known the feeling of being lived by a father? Should you said he is your father, when in fact he never be near of it. A father should be there, when his child is born. A father should be there, when his child took their first step. A father should teach his child to ride a bike, shouldn’t he? A father should be stay, at least. But he never did. He never once.

All you remember is your mom crying, in her room at nights, thought that you already sleep, which you don’t. she holding a picture, of him. A shabby 90’s picture, white and black, of her and him. At that time, full of love. Full of promises. Though it s a lie now. Your mother trying so hard to fill the void your father left you. Another emptiness who eaten you up slowly. Another question, why did he left your mom alone.

Did he ever want you? A question you asked to your mom in sunny day, which made your mom silent and then she goes to her room and crying. After that day, you never asked. Not even on father’s day while other kids are on their father shoulder, and you alone at the kindergarten waiting for your mom to pick you up. When suddenly this kid, whose name you forgot, asked you where’s your father. You just sat there silent, and tell her to shut up. Yes, she running with her eyes, telling her mother that you a mean girl. Who would have known that the real mean girl is her? Heck, you just a child who grow up without a father.

And your mom. Your lovely mom, being so hard to become the best mother and father for you. And until this day, you promised to yourself. You would give your daughter, a figure of father that you didn’t have a chance to captured. You will never waiting for someone who didn’t want to being hold. You will give your kids a chance to have their father made a piggy ride for them. A someone that put family first more then himself. Someone that entitled as a father. And a father could stay.

you heard it. You heard it clear as crystal. Someone who’s broken. Who’s heart is shattered into pieces. Like a heart wailing to be held. Like someone waiting to being cured. But you don’t have the cure either, because you’re just as healthy as broken pipe. Broken, rusty, shabby and hollow. The emptiness in your heart going bigger every time.

But still you want to getting know where those melody comes from. So you followed the voice. And you saw it. Someone, with hoody on covering his body. Her back turned on you, you could say it’s a she because her voice it’s a girl. you dont know who she is, but you know one thing. The voice, full of sympathy. Full of grieve and sorrow.

What have been done to her, you don’t know either. But its deep wound, from the sound of it. Like asking for help. You sat on the nearest bench, not wanting to interrupt her sadness. For the first time, you felt you are not alone. There someone like you, who feel the constant pain in their heart. Who being left for whatever choices the grown up had. Then you see the sky, you could see stars. Not much, but you can pointed it.

There’s one star, which the largest and shone the brightest. But you can be fooled, stars are born, live and died. The most massive stars, live shorter. The most beautiful things, will meet their ends. And so does those stars upon you. But it still beautifully, eventhough it has shorter life.

We are all made of stardust. That’s the true. We and the stars are contemplating the same universe.

The worst part? We did this as a class. We all watched each others. Ugh, I died every time. ANYWAY, I imagine that’s how it is for actors. They’re their own biggest critics.

Is there a television show out there that you never miss? >> I wouldn’t say never, but there are a few shows that I make a priority to keep up with. <<< Same. And if I do miss it, I go back and watch it when I can.

What movie have you seen too many times to be healthy? There’s a few movies I’ve seen countless times now because they’re on TV quite a bit. I genuinely like them, but the reason I’ve seen them so many times is because they’re on a lot. I like to have my TV on, which often serves as background noise, so if I see there’s a movie on I like I’ll put that on.

Does it creep you out to see people with mullets? It doesn’t creep me out, but I admit I don’t care for the hairstyle at all. Sorry. 

What is your biggest responsibility in your household? I don’t really have one?

How cold did it get where you live, last winter? Our winters get into the 30s (F) at night and low to mid 50s during the day. That’s really cold for us Californians who get triple digit weather during the summer and experience a lot of 80-90 degree weather. I love winter time.

Do you ever wish you could go back in time to redo something? So many things I’d like to change.

Ever accidentely pull out a filling from your tooth? I’ve lost some before.

Do you ever wonder what your exes are doing? Mostly just when asked about them in surveys, which is like all the time.

extremely detailed character meme (Van, ships: right on target and far from any road)

found this on my dash and i thought i’d fill it in! under a cut b/c it is REALLY detailed! some of the questions don’t apply for me, and i tried to make it easy to tell which ship i’m referring too b/c some things are different here and there

Fashion anon here. Used to be interested, bought a slew of fashion magazines every month. Now I'm out of touch, but I still remember my basics. It helps that these are European brands and I'm an European girl who studied in an upper-middle class private school. You profiled people by what they wore, both in and out of school. In terms of wealth, age of that wealth, political opinion, popularity status etc. 😒. (to be cont.)

With idols what's interesting is the level and deliberateness of choice. If and when not dressed by stylists. Are they showing off a fangift? (gotta flaunt that Gucci, given how much it costs) How much are they trying to look the part, adhering to their role or current trends, paying for prestige? How much is personal taste and style? How much is comfort? How much is looking hawt? How much is paying for quality and timelessness when you can afford it? How much of that is a conscious choice?Hao is interested in fashion, Mingyu too. Hao seems to care about all aspects, but is more about achieving a final look. Wears those ugly-ass Balenciaga sneakers with all the aplomb in the world, and it works for him. Just like that mullet that should've been demonic. Mingyu's thing seems to be looking like a stylish, expensive snack. The two of them wear and wield expensive brands both for aesthetics and clout. And some of Gyu's things are classic investment pieces, which seems very him to me.I'd say the most obvious, distinct personal style is Vernon's. Bold colors shapeless sk8er boi, no fear combining or just doesn't care. Woozi has stylist friends he gives instructions to. Oversized tops and graphic tees but fitted bottoms, basic sneakers, easy young adult look...When they wear big-name brands it's incidental. They like, they buy , don't mind the price much(srsly all of these kids have mid-tier brand 100€ tees🤦‍♀️), personal preference comes first. Etc 4 the rest (rant again😅)

oof that sounds harsh, the profiling that is. but now that you mention it, the most knowledge i have of brands is due to middle/high school where there seemed to almost be a certain hierarchy attached with certain clothes (and i never wore what the ‘cool kids’ wore lmao ahaha or not even like just the ‘cool kids’ i straight up didnt wear the common brands that everyone seemed to wear? i had felt kinda left out and self conscious about my clothes a lot back then so i unintentionally paid a lot of attention to brands back then...) but the profiling youre talking about seems a lot more...damaging so to speak, i dont remember much of that going on where im from but then again...i guess it may also depend on who u spoke to? who knows if there were groups of people judging people for what they wore and profiled them that way (alskdjf the fact that u bring it up is kinda scary bc thats exactly what little me was terrified was happening when i felt super conscious about my clothes)that is true!! there are so many layers to idols’ fashion. interesting what you say about hao, i always found him to be a rebel of sorts, so i always felt part of his fashion had to be something just like not as societally ‘acceptable’ so to speak, and pulling it off in a way thats almost as if hes saying ‘and so why do you hate suchandsuch thing so much society? when it looks this good?’ ahaha idk? bc yeah he def does wear the big brand names and flaunts it off A LOT which i always found curious. hao to me is a curious enigma of going with the trends and the norm but also going against it. what would define ‘classic investment pieces’ in terms of fashion? can’t think of anything other than maybe watches? do watches count as investment pieces? unless this term means something way different in fashion ahah. the gyuhao fashion dynamic was so interesting to me, esp when you see them in svt club trying to dress up dino. hao is a bit more extravagant and extra, whereas mingyu goes for the classic, simple looks. i think the both of them have the ability to go way off into one direction (too simple or too extravagant), but when they come together perhaps they could balance each other out. like minghao suggesting that piece of accessory to go with mingyus chosen outfit for chan? i really liked that overall final look. i mean, to each their own! not that overly simple or extravagant stuff is horrible! but i think gyuhao together could do really cool awesome fashion things together‘easy young adult look’ alskfj why is that me ahah. its so interesting though how fashion can reflect an individuals personality, which is almost kinda given? but the fact that it does is still really cool to me. like ur comments about vernons fashion and him having ‘no fear combining or just not really caring,’ thats his whole persona literally!! thank you for your commentary anon!!! i really appreciate it !! im always curious as to what other people have to say, especially those who are more learned in a specific topic that could be applicable to seventeen! do you have a personal fav svt member style?

a/n: hey so this will come in two parts, it was a request from a super cool girl and i hope yall like it! its a slow burn btw

In Hawkins, there were distinct characters. Steve, Nancy, Jonathan, you and of course, Billy Hargrove. Five different personalities, all in one high school. You moved to Hawkins about a year ago and since then, befriended Nancy and Jonathan and in turn Steve Harrington, the King of Hawkins High. You tended to gravitate to more of Jonathan’s crowd and you befriended him first.   You were soon introduced to Nancy and you and her became study buddies and the best of friends. You spent months, an entire summer in fact spending the night with her, chatting and of course studying. She eventually trusted you with telling you the story of last Halloween when a girl from Hawkins lab went rogue and fell in love with her little brother. How there was a huge monster her and her boyfriend had to fight off with your friend from photography and yearbook. How she lost her old friend to the other dimension in which said monster came.    You, as would any sane person, didn’t believe her. Especially when she told you who her boyfriend was. Steve Harrington. You’d heard his name through whispers and shouts in the halls. You’d seen him in passing and with one look at his friend group, you decided you never wanted to be involved with a guy like him. He was arrogant, narcissistic and popular. All things you hated. 

 You never questioned Nancy’s attraction to him, however, seeing as you weren’t one to judge. In fact, you found yourself crushing on Jonathan. Why wouldn’t you? He was your friend, you had photography with him, you had similar music taste, you both were semi-outcasts. It made sense. And you liked things that made sense. As summer was coming to a close, you pushed the thought of the ‘Upside Down’ to the back of your brain, dismissing it as some local folk tale, but you never brought it up to anyone outside of Nancy and her room. This year, Nancy had completely different classes, and suddenly it was a new school again. You knew no one in your class and you realized you really only had two friends at your school.

Popularly known but not popular, you thought to yourself, taking a seat in your English class. You watched as people slowly trickled into class before the bell would ring and you nearly sunk halfway down your seat when you saw Steve walk into the classroom.    “Oh God.” You muttered to yourself and Steve stopped in his tracks. He had been on his way to the back of the room, but instead, plastered a smirk on his face and sat in the seat next to yours. He recognized you immediately. You were his girlfriends new best friend. Except you also hung out with Jonathan who made you uncool in Steve’s eyes. She’s kind of cute, what a shame. Steve thought to himself, taking a seat next to you.       Then and there, he heard you and knew it was going to be easy to get under your skin. “Nope, not God, just Steve Harrington.” He replied to you and smirked. You rolled your eyes. Great. You thought. “I’ve seen you hang around my girlfriend, though I never learned your name-”

“And you won’t.” You said, stacking your books on top of each other and moving to the back of the class. You were adamant on that. When the teacher came in, you rushed to the front of the class, introduced yourself quietly and told him it was imperative that he call you by your nickname for roll call everyday in class. It was just to get a rise out of Harrington and if you could do that just to make him even a little annoyed, you’d do it. Satisfied, you sat in the back of the room for the rest of class, a smirk planted on your face.

“What’s that new girls name, your friend?” Steve asked, climbing into the drivers side while Nancy, in the passenger. “She’s not new, Steve, she transferred here last year.” “Yeah her. It’s a wonder she didn’t get involved in everything, seeing as she showed up right in the middle of it.” Steve was staring blankly out the windshield window. “Yeah, well, I told her about it and-” “You told her?” Steve exclaimed. Nancy looked at him with wide eyes. “That could get us killed, Nance.” He scolded. “She’s safe. She promised not to tell, besides I don’t think she even believed me, okay? It’s over now, we can drop it. We won’t have to deal with it ever again.” Nancy reasoned and Steve sat back in his seat.      It was halfway through September. And a month later, Nancy would be proved terribly wrong.

If someone last year were to tell you there was a guy who you would hate more than Steve Harrington, you would laugh in their face and tell them it was impossible. But the 1979 Chevy Camaro pulled up to Hawkins High and it gave you a bad feeling.  You were correct. It was the beginning of October and a new family, the Hargrove family had moved into Hawkins. Billy Hargrove would be joining your English class, much to your, and surprisingly Steve’s horror and his younger sister, Maxine, would be joining Mike Wheeler, Nancy’s younger brother in his eighth grade science class.

 All was well and normal until the mullet-haired ass waltzed in the door. Now, over the past month, you and Steve had developed a frenemy type relationship. You were his girlfriend’s best friend and he was your best friend’s boyfriend. There was a silent truce amidst the silent jabs you two would make at each other.    And the both of you could recognize a threat when you saw one. When Billy stepped in, you and Steve exchanged looks. Worried looks. He walked in with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and a smirk on his lip. His blue eyes found yours and you made a face. He feigned a sad one that was immediately replaced with his smirk again and you wanted to barf. “Um, sir. You can’t smoke in here.” The teacher informed. Billy’s eyes tore away from yours and looked at your teacher. “Right, right, my bad.” He reached up and took another long drag before removing the cigarette from his lips and flicking it into the trash can.   “Thank you. Now what’s your name?” Your teacher asked. “Billy. Billy Hargrove.” Even his name sounds ludicrous. You thought to yourself. “Okay, Billy, welcome to Hawkins and have a seat.” The teacher said happily, adjusting his role papers. You looked around, scanning the room for where he would sit. It came to your knowledge and dismay that there were no other seats. Except for the one next to your own. You looked to Steve who was still seated in the spot in the front. The place he mockingly took in the beginning of the year.  Assessing the situation, Steve stood up quickly, his books fumbling in his fingers as he tried to gather them. “Uh, Mr. Mitchell, Billy can have my spot and I’ll move to the back.” Steve stood up right as Billy was about to pass him. Billy had been staring straight at you with the same grin, no doubt happy he had scored a spot next to a girl. In the back of the class. Now, his head turned to look at Steve, grin nowhere to be seen. Behind the two boys, you heard Mr. Mitchell speak. “That’s very nice of you Steve. You can take a seat in the back, then. Billy, you can have Steve’s spot.” Your teacher said with a smile, unbeknownst to the current, testosterone filled drama that was playing out before your eyes. “Yeah, it was real nice of him.” Billy spat before taking a seat up front while Steve joined you in the back. “Wow, Steve, you really took one for the team. Be any nicer and I’ll think you actually like me.” You leaned closer to Steve and whispered. His head snapped to look at you, a glare crossing his features. “Don’t get too cocky. I don’t know who this guy is but he seems like an ass and I couldn’t do that to my girlfriend’s best friend. You would come to realize how valid it was in the next three weeks. You were invited, courtesy of Nancy, to the Halloween party that you and Jonathan were not so thrilled about. “I don’t know, Nance, that’s not really my kinda deal.” You explained, holding the flyer in one hand. “I agree. I’m probably going to watch some scary movies with my mom anyways.” Jonathan backed you up. You blushed. “C’mon! You both are single. It could be a really fun time. You could meet someone.” She pressed and upon realized she wasn’t going to let up, you agreed. “Okay. I’ll go.” You threw your hands up in mock surrender. “Y/N…” Jonathan tried. He looked defeated. “Sorry,” You said suddenly feeling guilty. “She’s right.” You fessed. Recently, you took note of the way Jonathan looked at Nancy. He liked her. There was no denying that. This party was a perfect excuse for you to try and move on from your crush. “We are single and maybe this could be good for us.” You pried.

 “I’ll think about it.” Jonathan said before walking to class.

The night of the party, you decided to go as Samantha Baker. Getting ready was easy, but preparing yourself for a high school party. Now that took some work. There would be dancing, drinking, sex in other rooms probably. Everyone who was officially cool was there. You would be out of place. You were starting to hope Jonathan did decide to come. Not just because you liked him, but also because you were hoping not to feel too alone. You pulled up to the house and you could already hear the music they were playing. Some guy was throwing up in the lawn outside and there were several couples making out on the porch. You wanted to turn around and go home. But you stayed, hoping you didn’t arrive too late for Nancy’s taste.

Just as you were opening the door to go inside, a figure opened it and walked briskly past you, almost knocking you over. “Hey, watch it-” You called out, turning around only to see it was Steve. With tears in his eyes. “Hey, Steve, wait up.” You called after him, now semi-concerned. It wasn’t every day you saw the King cry, and now that you had, it made you uncomfortable. And very concerned. You followed him.    “Steve, wait.” You called after him as he walked further from the house. The house the party was held at was at the end of a long dirt drive so you and him had walked far enough to where you could still see the residence, but the sound of the music was faint.  “What? What? What do you want?” Steve asked, sounding annoyed. “I want to know what’s wrong, damn.” You replied. “I saw you crying. Is everything okay?”    You asked, genuinely concerned. “Yeah, everything’s fine, Y/N. Just laugh it up, okay?” Steve replied, bitter.   Your stomach dropped. “What is your problem? I followed you out here because I was-”  “Jumping at the chance to see the guy you hate, the big bad King cry? Is that it? Want to get a good laugh? Well get a good look, Y/N because here I am. The whole popular guy facade down, you caught me. The rest is… The rest is bullshit.” He ranted and you felt taken aback. Offended.   “I wanted to see if you were okay, Steve. I wanted to know if there was anything I could do to help because something is obviously wrong.” You replied, voice firm and almost hoarse from getting teary-eyed.    Steve put his hands on his hips and looked at you with a side-glare. “You don’t have to pretend, okay? You don’t have to pretend like you care. I know you hate me. So you can cut the bullshit and leave me alone.” Steve said, sounding hurt.   “It’s not bullshit, Steve. I was genuinely concerned because guess what? When push comes to shove I’m-”   “’You’re my girlfriend’s best friend’? Well, you don’t have to play that role anymore because Nancy isn’t my girlfriend anymore. So you no longer have to force yourself to be nice to me.” Steve said, turning from you, scraping his feet on the paved dirt.  You were astonished at his words. Him and Nancy broke up. The words rang out through your mind. “Steve, I had no idea-” “Save it. I don’t need your fake niceness. Like I said, you can cut the act. Just go.” He was pushing you away with his words and for the first time, something Steve Harrington said actually hurt you. “I wasn’t faking it.” Was the last thing you said before turning, and heading back to the party, leaving Steve to wonder what that really meant.

Rockman.EXE Episode 16 Review.

Is this foreshadowing?

Hallelujah!

We start the episode with Netto walking around, completely blindfolded.

Looks like something spontaneus because not even Rockman Knows why is he doing this.

We get a flashback of last episode where Enzan and Blues perform the Program Advance back when Count Elec did his static trick.

Back to Netto’s blindfolded walk, Rockman tries to help him but it only results in this funny scene.

And that is why Rockman is the Navi and not the operator, also, I have to point out the lazy animation, right at the start I can tell the animation for this episode is gonna be low quality.

After Netto falls on his back like a turtle, Rockman reminds him that Meiru and Tohru’s battle is about to start, which was mention in the last episode. The match begins and we see Tohru’s un-official plug-in secuense.

And we get a stand off between Roll and Iceman, who will win?

The first two of many mistakes we will find in this episode.

After the title card appears, we get a description of both challengers. I am loving Roll’s picture.

Followed by.. Tohru’s sad picture.

Again, Tohru?! Does your father hit you or something? Because that’s what everybody’s gonna think when they see your picture!

Mariko-sensei wishes both of them good luck, Masa takes out his special flag, Yaito and Dekao start talking about who will win, and Netto manages to arrive just in time.

Now we start the battle with Roll moving first.

EAT CANDY HEARTS! I dont remember this part from the dub, though.

Iceman avoids her hearts and shoots a snow crystal at her, which she evades gracefully.

Meiru decides to send the Aqua tower battle chip with the same beautiful animation for Roll from episode 8, and Iceman tries to counter it by summoning his ice pillars from episode 6.

This is what happens when two recycled animations collide.

Tohru decides to send the Ice cube or Ice block (Im not sure anymore) and Meiru sends the triple lance chip, which results in a draw.

As everyone is focused on the battle, Netto doesn’t seem too invested for he is busy practicing the Program Advance with Rockman. Hey, his mullet is back! XD

That’s mistake number three.

After this, we cut to the training room where two Net Navis are practicing for their next battles.

The Navis talk about how they are gonna defeat their opponents who are... Bombman and Stoneman? Poor guys.

However, they wont have the chance to even fight them since said Navis suddently appear to take them out.

Let’s cut back to the epic battle that is Roll vs Iceman.

They seem evenly matched and everybody talks about how the battle might end on a tie. They both get up again, as Tohru tells Iceman to prepare to use his Blizzard attack, Meiru sends, what I imagine is another rare chip Yaito gave her, the Cyclone chip.

Which makes Roll start spinning for some reason.

The Cyclone is a variation of the Typhoon virus we saw in the last episode, which might confirm my theory of Virus chips and Battle chips having the same name.

It’s a face off between Iceman’s Blizzard and Roll’s Cyclone!

This literally stops time with everybody, who cares about this match, waiting in suspense.

How will physics play out in this battle?

Like this, the Cyclone returns the blizzard to Iceman who freezes, resulting on the emo looking Tohru losing the battle. Iceman has been ICED!

The battle ends and Tohru congratulates Meiru for her victory. Oh look, Enzan was watching the battle too, does he have anything to say about it?

Or he can just ignore it and focus on these mysterious looking giants on the hallway. To be honest, after seeing Enzan’s giant bodyguards, I don’t find their hight weird at all, maybe that means they’re either Americans or Europeons.

We cut to mistake number four with Roll’s hair gone, as everybody praises Meiru and Tohru for their battle.

Except for Netto who is still doing the Program Advance air training.

Midorikawa announces the next two battles with the two strange operators, one in the main “flower” dome and the other in the “micro” sub dome, for what I can see from these layouts, the crowd is either really tiny or none existing!

Their Navis happen to be Bombman and Stoneman! We get full shots of both Navis resulting on consistant mistake number five, Bombman’s eyes are purple when they are suppoused to be red.

I say consistant since this happens a lot throughout the episode, so I better count this as one.

Midorikawa tells the audience that Bombman and Stoneman’s opponents have not appear yet, resulting in both Navis winning by default.

Its Drill Mach! Not Drillman! There is already a Drillman. EXE

Now that I think about it, how does one trademark their Navi’s Name? Does the internet tell you when a certain name is taken?

Anyway, Bombman and Stoneman win by default and Midorikawa says that they remain unbeaten, this not only confuses Netto, but Mahajarama tells the other World Three operators that they are probably the new Navis sent by Dr.Wily.

After commercials, we see the WWW operators having lunch outside the dome, complaning about these new operators whom they know nothing about. And I’m just focused on the weird hairdo of the little girl running in the background.

Wouldn’t it be akward if Netto just suddenly appear and see them all together like this and accusing them to be the World Three in front of everyone? But Netto is in the training room practicing the program advance with Rockman while blindfolded, however, something seems wrong because after the official animation for the program advance (in a completely different background BTW) Rockman falls backwards.

I’m gonna count that background fail as mistake number six.

Rockman tells Netto that there isn’t enough room, but Netto says that he is just too distracted by Bombman and Stoneman being unbeaten.

I found mistake number seven!

Netto tells Rockman that Higure-san said that all of Bombman and Stoneman’s opponents were attacked before their matches, making both of them very suspicious. 

Dekao comes in to tell Netto that the pairings for the upcoming tagged matches are going to be announced. Meanwhile, Higure is trying to get an interview from the huge operators, but they end up destroying his mic leaving him terrified.

Netto and Dekao happend to see this and decide to follow the mysterious netops, who attemp to murder them by throwing them off the second floor.

Okay, there is water below, but turns out Dekao doesn’t know how to swim, and Netto does the mistake of trying to help him from the front.

Which is kind of weird because fat people are suppose to float easily, but it looks like he was just exaggerating since they stop splashing after Saloma appears to help them out.

FYI, when trying to help somebody who is drowning, never aproach from the front! Always grab them from behind or else they will take you down too.

Anyway, Saloma tells them that she is paired up with Dekao and, by the power of super plot conviniense, are gonna fight against Bombman and Stoneman.

Its Bombman, not Bomberman!

I didn’t even now he was in the tournament.

We start the first match of the tag team battles with Saloma’s first plug-in sequence.

Now its time for the mystery operators to plug-in.

HOLY COW, THEY CAN TALK!

We start the battle with Saloma telling Dekao that Woodman will fight Stoneman, so Gutsman charges at Bombman and starts punching him. Woodman uses some vines to inmobilized Stoneman, something I had no idea he could do.

Dekao then sends a Battle Chip to Gutsman which he calls by the wrong name.

This doesn’t do anything to Bombman, and Stoneman frees himself from Woodman’s vines. The two Navis tell their opponents that they will never be able to move them, making Meiru cheer for Dekao for once.

I don’t ship them but this is cute.

Dekao sends the same exact battle chip from before but this time with the right name, so I’m gonna count the scene from before as mistake number eight.

Gutsman uses the Guts Hammer but Bombman blocks it with a barrier, and Woodman summons wood towers only for Stoneman to break them as easy as breaking a toothpick.

During this, Netto tells Yaito that there is something strange going on with the mystery operators since they haven’t move since the battle started, which Miyuki, Enzan and Mahajarama noticed as well.

In fact, Mahajarama uses an insane Alakazam psychic move to prove his theory to the other World Three members.

Mahajarama is a POKEMON! That’s why he can use Teleport! O0O

How can you see that from up there?!

Higure tells her that they are not plugging out and Enzan figures out the truth.

Who said that? Did Netto hear Enzan say that just now? HOW?!

Stoneman and Bombman, with another shot of Bombman’s purple eyes, reveal the identity of the operators before the whole audience.

They are Robots! What is even happening right now?!

Turns out Stoneman and Bombman are completely independant Net Navis, which means that they don’t need operators to battle or plug them in. Which raises the question of how they even manage to enter the tournament in the first place. Maybe the staff is even more incompetant than I thought.

Gutsman and Woodman decide to attack again, but Bombman and Stoneman are just too much for them and end up beating them easily.

Still counting the purple eyes as one.

Gutsman and Woodman are forced to log out, and Bombman and Stoneman declare that Sharkman and Rockman won’t stand a chance, spoiler alert!

The next tag battle is Netto teaming up with Commander Beef, who suddenly appears next to him.

This is followed by Yaito’s remark of the Commander feeling familiar.

Huh, he helped you get rid of the fire viruses back in episode 13, remember?

So Netto ends the episode staring at his future opponents, determined to beat them.

My thoughts?

This episode would feel like a huge filler if it wasn’t because it introduced Bombman and Stoneman, although we already saw them back in episode 14, their names were still a mystery. Anyone who played the game know that Bombman and Stoneman were World Three Navis, but there was no mention of them having operators, so the anime kept it that way by making them the first independant Navis.

The animation for this episode was very low quality since it featured a lot of miscolors and mistakes, shots were reused and others were added, and I’m not talking about the dub, this is to save money in the animation.

If you follow me on Deviantart you would know that I call the art style for this episode “Simple”, because it is usually found in episodes that don’t require a lot of movement and the action sequenses are kinda slow.

An example of this style being used was in episode nine, which also featured some minor animation mistakes.

For the dub version, Roll throwing her hearts at Iceman was cutted for some reason, and for the dialogue change, the scene where Yaito talks about the Commander feeling familiar was changed to her noticing that Masa was gone, which makes more sense since he was sitting above them.
