There’s something so important about Gillion - who never heals himself, who rushes into danger, who hides his wounds- facing death and realizing he isn’t unafraid as he was raised to be. He uses his magic on himself to help with the exhaustion, to keep his life intact. And still he tries to comfort Jay and Chip while he’s coherent, being realistic about his chances but refusing to make it painful. Wanting their possible last moments to be light, to be about seemingly inconsequential things, small favorites that still mean the world to him purely because they’re Chip and Jay’s favorites. And then when all is said and done, he makes a raccoon for Jay. He talks about raspberries for Chip. He uses his last saved up arcane energy to try desperately to stay awake, and it works, and it saves him in the final hour.
It’s just. There’s something about how he hasn’t had a chance to rest since the Feywild, really, truly rest. How this whole time he’s been down on himself and taking extreme risks. And now, at what might be the end of it all, he realizes he doesn’t want to die. He wants to live. And not to be able to save others, not to fulfill his destiny, not out of obligation to anyone else - but purely for himself. For all the little things. And though it’s not quite healing in the literal term, his nearly final act was spent trying to save himself - and it worked.

shout out to keith this season for deciding that despite not having characters who were close to gur sevraq before that eclectic should get involved, and now within two missions eclectic has had a traumatic gur related experience and is obsessively watching gur sevraq tapes and having psychic visions inside them. as a gur fan i feel so represented. thank you keith

If you start Good Omens season 2 episode 6 at 11:13:46 PM (or, if you want it down to the millisecond, 11:13:45.70) then Crowley and Aziraphale will kiss at midnight and you can start your year off with a healthy dose of depression

The fact that Beverly’s love for Erlin is the thing that kills his god Pelor, the most important and consistent thing in his life thus far, is absolutely heart wrenching and tragic. Brian Murphy I am in your walls

I looooved the new helluva boss ep! A lot of plot and lots of progress and interesting conversations and argh Blitz & Fizz’s past explained is so painful but I’m so glad they talked it out and then both became so open to forgiving each other hhhhh it was so well done!!
And Stolas stating out loud that he’s caught feelings for Blitz!!! I mean we all knew!!! But he said it!! And as we expected he came to Ozzie’s to ask for those crystals… god I hope next ep we see him receiving them and taking them to Blitz, I will SCREAM
And I’m so ready for what’ll come after that

You know what I would love to see more of? Reincarnation AUs where the original piece of media is acknowledged. Like, “we were the characters in [whatever] in a past life” reincarnation AUs.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen this done, and that’s a shame. Depending on what direction you choose to take it in, this has untapped humour potential AND untapped angst potential!
“So you’re telling me that movie - ”
“BOOK! IT WAS A BOOK FIRST!”
“Right… that was our past life?”
“Yes! And I can’t believe I’m in love with someone who watched the film before reading the book!”
“…That’s… not too crazy, I guess… Wait, you’re in love with me?”
OR
“I remember everything and my boyfriend doesn’t, I’m so happy we found each other, but… what if he reads the book? What if he finds out what kind of person I was? How will he still be able to love me if he reads about what I did to him, about how much I hurt him and others, when he did nothing wrong and loved me unconditionally? What if he can’t? I love him so much, I wish I’d realised that in our past life…”
Why isn’t this more of a thing??
