aside from the fact that ais is simply just ♡*♡∞:｡.｡ais｡.｡:∞♡*♡ i think the other thing that also drew me closer to him when playing the demo is the fact that VERE, someone who evidently is mistrustful of the whole group and is probably more than willing to exploit anyone and or anything for his own benefit/freedom, so clearly cares for and even speaks highly about him to the point of trusting ais enough to see his true form says a lot. yes ik they also have a situationship/friends w benefits thing going on but vere is definitely someone who wants to not only avoid feeling vulnerable like most, but especially appear that way as seen in his introduction scene in the demo

this def isn’t some groundbreaking discovery i just have been thinking about it, even though vere can unalive the MC (crazy as fuck that im typing this) in the demo i… kinda do believe his opinions of the others the most in a way, or at least find them to be the most honest or at the very least revealing of some things: his hatred/desire to kill kuras makes me wonder if kuras is the one who bound him to his leash during the time he willingly worked w/thought highly of the senobium, he knows theres something nasty/monstrous in mhin that he constantly tries to prod out, and he knows that despite the showmanship and friendly smiles that somethings up with leander

and i just thinks thats cool considering his own personality, his words just might be the most honest
