I've lost a couple of kilos the last few months. I think mostly due to more cardio, and walking quite a bit. I also calculate on eating as much calories as I burn that day, or less, giving in to hunger if I am hungry, but not over-eating. La calorimetría indirecta es un método por lo general utilizado para medir el RMR mediante la relación de intercambio respiratorio RER= VCO2 expirado/VO2 inspirado, el resultado es convertido a energía gastada a través de relaciones conocidas. FACTORES PRIMARIOS QUE AFECTAN LA RMR . —Cambios en la ingesta dietética —Gasto energético inducido por programas de ejercicios . FACTORES FISIOLÓGICOS Y GENÉTICOS QUE AFECTAN LA RMR A TRAVES DEL EJERCICIO . —Tiroides —Recambio de proteínas —Leptina circulante —Termogénesis —Estimulación- β-adrenérgica —Actividad mitocondrial hepática . En la presente revisión sistemática y meta-análisis de MacKenzie-Shalders, et al., 2020. Evaluaron el efecto del ejercicio aeróbico, de fuerza y combinado sobre la RMR. Se identificaron 1669 artículos; 22 fueron incluidos en el análisis cualitativo y 18 fueron meta-analizados. El estudio excluyó participantes con afecciones médicas que afectaran la RMR, personas ≥65 años y mujeres embarazadas, lactantes o posmenopáusicas. .
