Camilla's summer alt works so well bc she already had the tits to match!!!!!!!!! Not to mention, much like Mercedes, she's rocking a very graceful, mature and elegant look too.

There are obviously other fantastic swimsuit alts too but I either 1) Don't have them on hand or 2) Moreso fall under the cute and fun category for me (like Micaiah's swimsuit!) OR whatever Edelgard has going on. Funky, fun AND cool.

I was binge watching buzzfeeds thirst tweet videos and I couldn't help but think about how our elves would react to reading thirst tweets about themselves. Ik twitter is a very modern our world thing so technically it doesn't exist there but for the sake of this let's pretend it does. So yeah, I have come to notice that there are mainly four to five type of reactions,, them going like :

Flustered asf, doesn't know half of the nsfw vocabulary, actually can't believe people think thoughts like this about them, tries to laugh their embarrassment off and probably can't finish reading too detailed tweets

Knows they are hot and loves that people are actually appreciating them finally, as they should. Reads the tweets with a smirk playing around their face, also ready to get down with whatever the people who tweeted the thirst tweets,

So fucking calm and polite, adds a thank you after reading every single tweet, a total gentleman, genuinely flattered, ready to do the stuff described only if it doesn't hurt you or isn't violent as fuck. probably will go off on tangent like Andrew garfield did about stuff like "who actually invented being sexy" either because they actually got distracted or they fact they're trying to hide their embarrassment, there's no in between lmao

(Stole both these lines from a comment on James mcavoy video lol) "kinky but I'm sure we can figure out a way to get this done" and Seemingly innocent and unaware yet so sexually suggestive at the same time while replying to the tweets.

Concerned one, screaming "oh my god no!!" "please take care of yourself," "please don't do that, it's unsafe" "I'll have to decline the request because that's way too violent." probably asking if this what people do in their free time and just mix of confused, concerned and flattered

The "why did I even agree to do this?" "I don't know what to say tbh" (this reaction probably overlaps with other ones though ig)

Who do you think will fall into which category? I'm pretty new to this fandom so I am not exactly familiar with all the characters, mainly familiar with house of feanor/elrond and lords of gondolin only so I was like why not ask you, you'd know better than me. I don't really know if this counts as a request, or just an ask. I've read your rules and masterlist and I don't think you've stated this kind of questions/reactions counts as a request so I decided to send this to you since I thought it'd be fun; I've read your replies/analysis and God I just love them so much! 7. A book you did not finish

To be honest there aren't a huge number of books in this category, mostly because I'm stubborn and tend to fall prey to the sunk cost fallacy of feeling like I've read so far, I might as well get to the end, although I am trying to be better at not reading things I'm just not enjoying.

One that stands out though is A Crown of Stars by Kate Elliot, which is the fourth in a series of huge doorstopper fantasy books. I'd read so far, but while I still liked some of the characters, a lot of them (especially the ones this volume was focusing on) were annoying me and the plot was becoming difficult to follow and picking the book up had begun to just feel like a chore which I hated so I finally gave up. Sometimes I think about going bac and trying again but I'd have to reread the entire series because I don't remember what was going on and there are a lot of things I'd rather read first.

I suppose you could also put Throne of Glass by Sarah J Mass on this list because I read three chapters before noping out but that was when browsing in a bookshop rather than buying it or getting it from the library with the intention of reading the whole thing so I don't really count it, lol.

60. A book that you think about at 3am

I'm finding this one very tricky to answer because honestly it's often just whatever book I'm currently reading but sometimes I will think about how Robin Jarvis wrote The Thorn Ogres of Hagwood in 1999 and it took him 17 years to write the sequel so maybe there's still hope that he'll write a sequel to Deathscent despite the fact that it's been 21 years since it came out and I will finally know peace.

94. A book about grieving

So my first thought for this was to think of non-fiction, and C. S. Lewis's A Grief Observed, which honestly I find quite hard to read straight through but do like to dip in and out of and appreciate more the older I get. But I'll also mention Kate Bowler's Everything Happened for a Reason (and Other Lies I've Loved), which is a memoir she wrote when she was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer and is about her coming to grips with her mortality and grieving the life she thought she would have and really packs a punch. If you're going to read it, I suggest having tissues nearby.

128. A book that made you hungry

Redwall. And every book in the Redwall series. A significant percentage of those books is just mouth-watering descriptions of incredible feasts that always make me hungry and I defy anyone to read them and not immediately want to pack a picnic basket full of delicious things and go and find a lovely bright field of flowers somewhere to feast in.

RWBY's Love Language - Part 2

Hello friend ! I'm back at it with a second part and whatever character I can think of ! (Among which best boy Oscar because he deserves it, and also more adults)

Let's go !

Oscar Pine

So ! While I love Oscar with my whole heart, honestly guessing his Love Language is no easy feat. One thing for sure : touch isn't is thing even if it's how everyone else chose to communicate their love.

I saw a post a while back detailing how Oscar is always putting his hands up as a barrier when he's scared or uncomfortable and that makes me cry a little instead but it's true TT. Anyway...

In the latest volumes we've got quite a bit of comforting Oscar-talks but I have to wonder how much of that is due to Ozpin's influence really. As a result I've decided to settle on... Acts of Service or Quality Time ! This is based on a few details : when people are upset with him in one shape or form, Oscar was always very eager to prove himself useful, give some aspect of concrete help (such as cooking a Casserole, ringing any bell ?). Plus I imagine that's the exact brand of help his Aunt would have needed most on a farm. Added to that, he always seems fairly happy to be included, be with the others no matter what's going on. Training ? Yay ! A movie with Jaune & Weiss ? Smiling puppy look. Fancy party ? Shenanigans together ! So yea, I love seeing my boy loved and hugged but please everyone settle for the loving he's most comfortable with <3

“She made a choice! A choice to put others before herself! So do I.”

“Oh, uh, yeah. I thought you guys would appreciate a hot meal after... spending all day looking for me, apparently.”

“No, it's okay. These past few days, I've been scared of the same things you were. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be... me. But I did some thinking, and I do know that I want to do everything I can to help with whatever time I have left.”

Ozpin

For our favorite immortal wizard aka not quite dead Headmaster... I think the answer is rather obvious. When you're so careful with your words, but also so fiercely devoted to humanity, Words of Affirmation is a must. Ozpin constantly does his best to calm, to reassure. He's good at controlling the conversation and getting people where he wants... Except he more often than not use it to make them think and help them reach an healing ore motivating conclusion. This man is so insisten on giving and cultivating hope, so painfully aware of just how much words can change... There's no doubt in my mind that it's through these very same words that he tries to fight the darkness in others' mind, even when they don't want to let themselves be persuaded. And with some help from the farmboi, Ozpin is gaining in honesty and earnestness. And that can only help in giving comfort.

But to be honest... If you offer him a hug I doubt he'd refuse, and he definitely deserves one. Also therapy. For Oscar too. Everyone in therapy 2k21.

“Ruby. I've made more mistakes than any man, woman, and child on this planet. But at this moment I would not consider your appointment to leader to be one of them. Do you?”

Emerald Sustrai

Now here I'm gonna go ahead and say that the way Emerald has been taught to express her love and the way SHE would rather preffered to be loved most likely do not align. At the side of someone like Cinder, and even Mercury who isn't exactly the most emotionally vulnerable person; the only brand of love that gets an easy pass is Acts of Service, and that's probably what Emerald is the most used to. I can go on a mission with you. I can help. We go right back to the "I can be useful" mentality and I'm not sure she's been shown any other way honestly. Let's be real though : if someone offered a hug or some gentle words ? She'd probably pout & fuss but I hardly doubt she'd object.

“I don't care about Salem! But I owe Cinder everything. You want to fight her that bad? Be my guest.”

“I just... Cinder was the only family I ever had. She cared about me, taught me things... But without her here, I don't know if what we're doing--”

“I've been working on my Semblance. I can help. I won't tell anybody.”

Pyrrha Nikos

What's with everyone and dedicating their whole love toward just helping their teammates anyway they can ?! Stop ! But any way, you guessed it. I'm pretty sure one of Pyrrha's top way of showing love is Acts of Service, and nothing means quite as much to her as Quality Time. For someone who's been put on a pedestal and has a hard time relating to people; both touch and words can be a bit awkward. But if they're wrapped up neatly in a training session or semblance explanations ? Well that's already a more familiar area. Pyrrha gives her whole to her friends and those she cares about. And in exchange, if anyone can simply... be there and spend time with her... May it be at the ball or simply sitting in the courtyard... I'm sure our girl would be delighted.

“Jaune, you know if you ever need help, you can just ask.”

“I'm constantly surrounded by love and praise; but when you're placed on a pedestal like that for so long, you become separated from the people that put you there in the first place. But thanks to you, I've made friendships that will last a lifetime.”

“I'll do it. If you believe this will help humanity, then I will become your Fall Maiden.”

Qrow Branwen

If I say Gift Giving for the corvid, is someone gonna hit me ? Come on it's fun ! Okay, more seriously... I think this kind of love conversation is kind of a necessity for Qrow. With a semblance such as Bad Luck, making everything complicated... Qrow tries to keep his distance from those he cares about. And since he's an emotionally repressed (but caring) asshole on top of it... Well that kinda narrows down his option. You know what DOESN'T put anyone at risk but can still bring smiles on their face ? GIFTS. Shiny things, souvenirs from his missions all over the world to give to 2 smol nieces. Sounds safe right ? That said, as any good emotionally unavailable character in this show, I gotta say Qrow probably has a thing for helping out and making himself useful in relation to Oz, Tai or the rest of the inner circle. So you know what that means *whisper* Acts of Service.

That said ! When it comes to receiving some love back... Qrow probably likes everything he doesn't allow himself to have. Soft touches, loving & comforting words, spending time with a friend without his semblance making everything complicated... We know that's all he wants.

“You idiot. I know you didn't do this.”

“Look, pal, I'm not sure who you are, but you need to leave my niece alone.”

“No one wanted me... I was cursed... I gave my life to you because you gave me a place in this world... I thought I was finally doing some good...”

Clover Ebi

And among our newbies (and gone too soon) friends we have Clover ! Clover was a very good contrast to our dusty old crow but also a great help. Kind-hearted, perceptive and honest; he knew just how to put Qrow's self-loathing in his place and push him to give himself some credit. He always had a nice word or a joke for everyone, and visibly the rock of the Ace Ops : an expert a keeping the moral up and the mood companiable. Evidently, Words of Affirmation was his expertise. Had things gone differently, I'm sure we'd have had time for many more earnest and helpful conversations with this teal-eyed fisherman.

“It's a good thing they had someone to look up to and get them through it. Not everyone is so lucky.”

“I meant deflect a compliment. Those kids wouldn't be where they are without you. You've had more of an effect on them than you realize.”

“We don't have to fight, friend.”

Winter Schnee

And today in the "emotionally unavailable" category we have... Winter Schnee ! TALK ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS PEOPLE ! Just - I would say look at Ruby but even she doesn't talk about her bad vibes... Nor does any of the "Words of Affirmation" peeps. Honestly what's wrong with y'all people ? Anyway Winter cares so much. Is it hidden behind professionalism and a stern *big sister* demeanour ? Sure. But it doesn't negate just how much she loves her closed ones. She's fiercely loyal, and even if she doesn't let her personal feelings get in the way of her duty and doing what needs to be done, no one is allowed to say she doesn't care. Countrary to Weiss, Winter doesn't seem as good nor as aware of the love that exists in simply *being* with people. Rather, she's dutiful and ready to help any way she can when given the chance. You guessed it, yet another Acts of Service kind of love... Maybe I'm doing this wrong XD. I'm on the fence about Words of Affirmation as well. Despite her standoffish looks, Winter has always been very open & reassuring during her discussions with Penny. But she's more stern when it comes to Weiss so I dunno x)

“I don't recall asking about your ranking, I'm asking how you've been. Are you eating properly? Have you taken up any hobbies? Are you making new friends?”

“You've grown up a bit, haven't you? You're not the little girl clinging to the family name anymore.”

“You can't just buy trust like everything else! You have to earn it!”

And that's it for Part 2 ! I might do some other characters if people suggest some but I don't have a pressing need to right now. I have many ideas of songs to apply to various characters however so that's prob what my next posts will consist of (or fun templates)

Guys. Making sprite edits is not easy. It involves a lot of layering, texturing, coloring, shading, drawing, and other functions. So when someone shows you a sprite edit, no matter how bad or good it looks, don't bash them for it. Don't bash their art style, don't bash their tactics, don't bash their choices. If they ask you for sprite editing tips, then you put in your two cents. Until then, don't.

Keep all criticism constructive, as well. It sucks to put potential weeks of work into a design or making sprites just to have someone say "he looks like a hooker" or "she looks like a loser". Believe me, I would know due to a certain sprite edit I've recently made and plan on using in a blog. Said sprite edit is slightly more revealing than what your typical Danganronpa character would wear, but still less revealing than Miu's own outfit. Let me explain.

Some creators appreciate characters that wear sultry clothing and own their sexuality. This is my category. I appreciate a character who can say "Yeah, I'm sexy, and I'm not afraid to show it". Some creators prefer that the clothing tell an unseen story, or leave more to be discovered. For example, a character wearing a black hoodie and some jeans being a hacker? It's been done to death by this point. I also fall into this category with this particular sprite.

It's one thing to offer help, resources, and constructive criticism for sprite editing, as it is very time-consuming, and I feel that most creators will appreciate something that makes the process easier. For example, if someone were to ask what texture I put over Danganronpa sprites, I would give it to them.

None of the criticism of this specific sprite edit I've made has been constructive whatsoever. I don't know what anyone wants me to change, and so far, I've heard three words describing the outfit: "hooker, stripper, and slut". Three out of four people I've shown the sprite to have said something about the way his outfit is revealing. I used beach sprites to make the outfit for a reason.

It's starting to become upsetting when people criticize my work without offering any suggestions to make it better. What do you want me to change? What could I do to make it more appealing? Saying simply "it looks bad" makes no sense to me. Okay, well what's making it look bad? The hair? The shirt? The sleeves? The fishnet pattern of this part of the outfit?

It took me six days to come up with this design, and I work on sprites all on my own. I'm the only one whose creativity is put into my sprites, although I did take inspiration from another character for this particular sprite edit, the design is all my own. And it took me quite a long time to come up with it, too. So to hear it only degraded with no solutions offered kinda hurts.

I should mention this is a male sprite edit. Meaning I could have simply left his shirt completely off, had I chosen. Revealing clothing has no issues showing skin on a guy, or what is socially acceptable, anyway. It's hurtful, it really is.

And yes, I know there's a possibility that it's just not very good, or that I just suck at sprite editing, but I was actually really proud of myself for even finishing it before those words were said. And now all I want to do is delete them all and start all over. I was excited and happy about using designs that were all mine, only to have that excitement completely broken, and now I don't even want to make the blog. Or more accurately, don't even want to start the blog, since I've had it for quite a long time already.

As of right now, it's 50/50 if I make the blog or not. I want to, I really do. I think the concept is interesting and could be a lot of fun. However, this completely killed my motivation to use the blog or concept, or even to finish the rest of the set of sprite edits. Please consider your words and keep all criticism constructive of others' sprite edits. Yes, it does hurt when you criticize without suggestions on how to improve the work.

10 things that I want from FF7 Remake 2

Some of these are a given, but just for fun, others are a bit of a long shot. Spoilers abound, so turn back now if you're still making your way through Midgar as we speak. In no particular order:

Jessie. I'm going to be honest, it took some self-restraint to not make this a 10 things I'd like to do to see from Jessie list. One thing that Remake did incredibly well was flesh out the Avalanche crew, and Jessie was undoubtedly the one who benefited the most, going from ponytailed plot device to forward and fiery courter of Cloud. I absolutely dreaded her inevitable death scene, and nearly jumped out of my chair at the suggestion that she may have actually survived this time around. I won't ask for a pizza and chill side quest, but I would be thrilled to just see her alive and well in the next chapter.

Gold Saucer. It's not a question of if it'll be in the game, but of how it will be presented. I'm expecting that a lot of love and care will be put into this locale, and I want everything: Chocobo racing, roller coasters, a beefed up haunted house, battle square, a potential date with a pissed off Barrett...all of it. Saying that I'm excited to see an updated Gold Saucer would be a massive understatement.

Open world. Or not. I'm fine with either. I remember how massive the FF7 world seemed to me as a kid while playing the original game, and I just can't see how something of that size will scale to the table that Remake has set so far. I loved - loved - roaming forests and taking long road trips with the boys in FF15. But Remake has a completely different world with different stakes. While the idea of a free-roaming epic is indeed attractive, there will inevitably be other games that have done an open world on a far grander scale, and it'd almost be a shame to see Remake try to draw from Skyrim when the reality is that it doesn't have to. Midgar was linear in nature and it was still beautiful and felt massive in its own way. I'd be fine with a series of mostly contained villages and towns with the second installment.

Playable Turks. This one falls into the long shot category, but you can already feel how badly the creators are itching to turn the Turks into good guys. We know that this timeline has forked off into a direction different from the one that we grew up with, so perhaps we can get a few missions with Reno and Rude running point? I'm not holding my breath, but it would be awesome.

Bahamut. And not just one, I want all three back. Vanilla Bahamut, Bahamut Neo, and Bahamut Zero! Heck, give us even more. Omega Bahamut! Ultima Bahamut! Bahama Bahamut! Nobody goes into battle without a Mut!

No more squiggly dust ghosts. Yeah, enough of those guys. I can go as far as to say that I appreciated what the Whispers provided the story, but now that our heroes have apparently ripped through the threads of fate and are playing with a freshly shuffled deck of cards, I could do without seeing them again.

The Highwind. I don't think there's any doubt that we'll be seeing the Highwind, given it's importance to Cid's character and the fact that the airship becomes the party's main mode of transportation towards the latter half of the story. What is in question is to what degree players will be able to control the massive aircraft. While we had the ability to manually fly exactly where we wanted to in the original, there's understandably some doubt as to how this will work in Remake with the game's open world status still very much in question. I'd bet on control being limited to the bridge of the ship with the option to select predetermined destinations from a world map. And I'd be fine with that. Just give us that sweet Highwind music.

More of Rufus in action. Seriously, look at that pimp. A character this cool deserves to be seen in battle more than once.

And less of Zack. Assuming he's alive and well in this reality, I could go without seeing too much of the guy. The original FF7 was such a fantastic story about life and identity because Zack passes on and symbolically entrusts his hopes and dreams to Cloud (who somewhat hilariously takes things way too literally). That story doesn't work quite as well if Zack is just hanging around being...uh, alive and stuff. And if he is, what has he been doing all this time while Aerith was getting harassed by Turks every day? Swell guy, that Zack. Or are we to assume he's alive, just not in this reality? Honestly - and it might just be me - I thought the reinsertion of Zack into the fray was one of the few missteps Remake made.

Aerith has a chance? Square knew what they were doing when they opted to establish a new timeline. I'm not saying that Aerith surviving would make the story better. On the contrary, I'm not sure if it works at all without Sephiroth jumping in and making her into an Aerith-kabob. What I do know is that there's now some definite intrigue to that moment, and they've effectively put all the suspense back into a scene that we had assumed would end in a familiar, heartbreaking fashion. It's a smart move, regardless of what eventually does happen.

you can request under 3 categories. headcanons, scenarios and (short) prompts, feel free to give what idea would you like on the prompt you decided for and i’ll try my best to give it a shot. any suggestions or ideas that you want for the headcanons you requested for are allowed (as long as it stays sfw)

you can state if you want a platonic or romantic relationship with the characters you want. i’ll try to make to make it lean into a platonic relationship (but mostly all my works fall into a romantic and established relationship)

i won't write character x character, character x traveler or characters that are siblings/family

for minor characters like klee, diona, qiqi and sayu, i will only write platonic relationships with them.

i prefer to write gn! reader so it's free for everyone to read this blog's works (although i sometimes write female reader if it's requested)

if there appears that there are mistakes or errors in my works, pls approach me and enlighten me why and how is it wrong

i will write mostly for male characters

i write at my own pace, any messages on my inbox that asks when will the given request or new work will be posted will just put me into pressure or might lost the mood to continue to write it
