I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, we had some issues in the factory cause some elves🧝🏼‍♂️ were too busy supporting Xiumin s mini album. Not to mention Kai's Dazed Korea photoshoot. Phew, it was a lot to handle but the factory is back on and everything is going swimmingly here!

Before I try to reply to your questions, I have another one for you! Which is your favourite track from Junmyeon s recent album and what's your favourite one from Kyungsoo? Frankly, I'm very curious about that. Perhaps, tell me more about what you love about them, their best feature, or something that catches your eye.

I'm not entirely sure which era is my favourite because it changes every time I think about it, silly isn't it? 🫢 Thinking of my bias, I think it's mainly Chanyeol (yes, it was another reason why all the things were postponed but I didn't want to expose myself in front of all the elves, so let's keep it our little Santa 🤫 secret), and Chen with D.O. When Happy virus raps I'm on my old and wrinkly knees checking the naughty list whether his name will pop out or not cause he's a real baddie. The song would be gravity I suppose? It's hard to decide, there are plenty of them.

Those are some good questions! 💜 For Junmyeon's recent album I have to say that "Grey suit" is my favourite track, it just grows with every listen and the MV is sososo beautiful (>^<) and for Kyungsoo's album... of course I adore "Rose", listening to it and watching the MV never fails to put a smile on my face, but I also like "It's love" very much~

Ahh did you mean Junmyeon's and Kyungsoo's features? Well, I love the general softness they both have to their faces, and the way they both show happiness - Junmyeon's eyes turning into crescents whenever he laughs (or when he's proud of a silly joke he just told) and Kyungsoo giving off such serious vibes and then suddenly his entire face transforms when he laughs... the brightness of them both pulls at my heart (;v;)💘

Oh no, I don't think that's silly at all - I'm like that myself! Some albums fit different moods and periods of time, so I'm totally with you there 💗 and wow, you've gotten a lot of content from your bias now then, I'm happy for you!! Ghostlights Prompt Event: Blind Date with a Prompt

My first time ever posting anything and it's ghostlights, typical. Anyway this was tons of fun to do and I managed to pump this out in like two days. I really hope the smaller details are easy to see bc I had a lot of fun doing things like Dukes heart blush and eyes and Dannys electric scars and it would be a shame if Tumbler crunchifed it too much like Insta usually did.

The prompt I got was Duke is Danny's secret admirer and sharing headphones (that's a lie, it was actually sharing headphones and 1930 but I had no clue how I would do that so I just rerolled and got lucky lol). I might end up doing some more idk I've just never been this inspired before :>

I absolutely LOVE the Squirtle/Wartortle illustrations by kantaro in Pokemon 151!

The Squirtle jumping so joyfully from the rock into the ocean, the colors are STUNNING! I love the contrast of the Squirtle's aqua blue framed in the vivid orange sky, the soft bit of blue reflecting in its shell and its tail just catching the sun, how little and squishy its body looks as it launches itself towards the water with such tremendous excitement!

The lineless style of the background gives me the feel of a travel poster and I sense the tropical environment around it from the rocks and trees framing the corners, the waterfall splashing with as much energy as the Squirtle!

The layered blues on the surface of the water and the bubbles rising at the corner make me FEEL the liquid rising to meet the Squirtle--I can just feel how the next moment it's going to break through and be immersed in a cool island swim!

And the Wartortle running along the sunset beach, this is somehow everything I always imagined for Wartortle! I adore the way the rich purple melts into the warm red/orange sky, the matching purple clouds and shadows in the foreground, and how the dimming sunlight glows red on Wartortle's deep blues!

I love how the yellow and orange of the sky illuminate the lapping waves, I can just feel the gentle motion of the sea at dusk. The aqua color of the ocean matches Wartortle's ears and tail and sets off the red-orange sand, I just love how the colors are here!

Wartortle looks so round and squishy, I love its happiness as it goes frolicking through the shallows, chasing the bubbles caught in the setting sun! The shine and deep shadow on its shell give it an almost jewel texture like real tortoise shell; I love the silhouetted splash Wartortle leaves as it goes running across the shore. It's so full of energy and delight at the end of a gorgeous day! The colors in these are SO vivid and harmonized and the style is so cute and bursting with energy and joy. I just LOVE it (also Squirtle is my starter)

FE OC Week Day 1 - Introductions!

love the idea of this week and thought it'd be a great way to share some info about my FEH Summoner, Leigh! will mostly be contributing by way of text posts (and where possible, art I've commissioned over the years). thank you for taking the time to read if you do so!

Introducing Leigh (they/them pronouns)! at least, what they looked like at the beginning of Book 2. they were coming to terms with who they wanted to be for the majority of Book 1, and they get a new design after Book 5 since Eitri destroys their cloak during the whole experimentation shenanigans.

(a few heroes did end up seeing Leigh's appearance prior to Book 2. more on that sequence of events can be read in this fic!)

overall, Leigh is very compassionate in their role as Askr's summoner and they always listen first before arriving at conclusions. they were initially summoned to Askr with very few memories of their World of Steel, and see their summoning to this world as a fresh start to be someone they couldn't in their old life.

Askr saw their fondness for linguistics+languages and decided to incorporate it into the blessing he gave them. Leigh's FE-verse works a little different than what's implied in-game; kingdoms/continents/communities don't all necessarily speak one language, so there's a lot of linguistic diversity present in Askr which makes communicating effectively a challenge! that's part of the reason why Leigh is chosen to be the summoner, as their blessing gives them enough proficiency in a variety of languages to bring everyone together both on and off the battlefield.

eventually they'll grow to be a magic user (mid-Book 6) but in the beginning they were not known for picking up a weapon. they also really love tea! the Order of Heroes' tea set collection is definitely expanding with their presence.

oh and their new design after Book 5? needless to say there's some tension within the order after Leigh reveals it since they're now wearing the colours of the enemy. Leigh lets this roll off their back; red/black are their fave colours and they're gonna feel good wearing them!

Valicer OT3 Week, Day Three: Childhood Friends

Day Three of @ot3-week's OT3 Week, and we're up to a cute prompt -- "Childhood friends!" So naturally I couldn't resist writing the trio hanging out together as kids. :) This is supposed to be a Victorian!AU, though I suspect it might feel a little bit more modern than that...the important thing is, there's a grand old party happening in the halls of Christchurch at Oxford, and Smiler and Alice have already found each other and decided to sequester themselves away from all these boring adults in their own private table fort. But tummies have started growling, and so Smiler is venturing out to get snacks...

“I’m gonna get more snacks!”

“All right – make sure to grab some of Mama’s Welsh rarebit!” Alice said, arranging the cards into neat piles. “Then when you come back we can start building our castle.”

“Definitely,” Smiler said, shooting her a grin. They grabbed the edge of the tablecloth and lifted it – then, seeing no adults had eyes on them, scrambled out from under the banquet table that they and Alice had claimed as their personal hidey-hole. And I thought this party was going to be boring, they thought, scurrying toward the table where the Welsh rarebit sat, along with a few other cheese-based dishes the various attendees were nibbling on. Adults never want to have any fun when they get together – it’s just talk talk talk about boring stuff. Especially Father, going on about “social compliance” and all that...it’s a good thing that Alice is here! I can’t wait to hear another story about Wonderland – it sounds amazing! And I bet that, without the adults interrupting us, we can build a castle using all of the –

“Now, I don’t want you embarrassing me at this party, Victor, do you understand?”

Smiler stopped, turning toward the entrance. Standing there, having their coats taken by the coat-taking-man, was a hunched-over skinny man with a large mustache, leaning on a cane; a very plump woman in the fanciest dress Smiler had ever seen, fanning herself like it was the middle of summer; and a little boy, about Smiler’s age, wearing a suit with shorts and staring at his feet while the woman – presumably his mother – went on and on about how the Liddells were Very Important People and how they had to make a Good First Impression and how Victor was to Stay Quiet and Look Respectable, like the boys in magazines. The boy – Victor – was nodding along to his mother’s litany, trying to stand up straight and do as asked, but the look on his face...

“Now, Marmaduke, I understand that you’re a little – confused, at this age. But the simple fact of the matter is that you can’t just decide that you’re not a boy. It’s simply not done. Where would society be if people just started declaring themselves not one thing or the other? You have to learn how to be socially compliant. True happiness comes from obeying your elders – and you want to be happy, don’t you?”

Smiler frowned as the woman turned away from Victor, leaving him to tug at his tie as she swanned off to chat about boring things with the other adults. It seemed like, with a mother like that, Victor was about to have about as bad a time at this party as they’d feared they would have. And that was a really bad time indeed.

Well, good thing I’m here, then, Smiler thought to themselves, then marched up to Victor, putting on their best smile and sticking out their hand. “Hullo! I’m Smiler!”

Victor nearly started right out of his skin – maybe they should have been a little bit quieter. He stared at them a moment, glancing from their face to their hand and back, then hesitantly took it. “Uh – I’m – I’m – V-Victor,” he stammered, clearly out of his depth. Maybe people didn’t talk to him much? That would be sad if so. “Your name is – Smiler?”

“Well, it’s what I call myself,” Smiler told him, pumping his arm. “My real name’s awful. But Victor’s a nice name! Do you want to play with us?”

“Us?” Victor repeated, blinking.

“Me and Alice!” Smiler pointed at their table, where Alice was peeping out, clearly wondering why snacks were taking so long. They waved to her and pointed to Victor – she glanced over, then nodded and waved back. “She’s really nice, and she tells great stories,” Smiler informed Victor, grinning. “And she’s got cards – we’re gonna try and build a castle! Do you like castles?”

“Uh – yes?” Victor said, as if he wasn’t sure of his own opinions. “I’ve n-never made a card one b-before, though.” He dropped his gaze, playing with his tie again. “I’m k-kind of clumsy.”

“That’s all right – we can show you how to do it!” Smiler promised, taking his hand so he didn’t accidentally strangle himself. “Come on – we’ll get snacks, then we can go and play!”

“I – um...” Victor’s gaze went to his mother, chatting with some other adult Smiler didn’t know and didn’t care about. “I dunno...”

“Aw, come on,” Smiler wheedled, tugging his arm. “It’ll be fun! Don’t you wanna have fun? Be happy? Like, real happy, not grown-up happy?”

“Happy...” Victor looked at his mother a moment more, then over at Alice, patiently waiting for them to decide what they were doing. Then his mouth formed a determined line, and he nodded at Smiler. “Yes. Let’s go make castles.”

Smiler beamed. One happiness problem – solved! Take that, Father. “Great! But, first, we gotta get some of that rarebit – and I think there’s some cake too...”

funniest thing ntwewy devs did was retroactively make beat and rhyme half siblings. not that im complaining at all but why did they do that

Christopher Nolan making movies: I'm gonna make a film that is so confusing and non-linear

#just watched memento :DDDDD #which i think would be his first bigger movie? #but it was so interesting bcs there were a lot of concepts in it that are so visible in his later films #like watching that after watching almost all of his most recent films was such an 'aha!' moment #lthe whole black&white vs in-color to delineate which part of the story we're in #in memento: black and white is the beginning of the story and then in-color is the rest of the story going backwards #and then he uses that concept again in oppenheimer but b&w is the current events and color is everything leading up to that and after #like yeah its really confusing first time around because you dont know that fully yet but then at the end its like OH!!!!! #and then both also have other stuff interspersed btwn those two sections that you only reallly understand by the end #and then with the plot going backwards. that was the same as tenet right? #like starting with the end of the story and them ending with the beginning of the story #i cant remember inception well enough atm but im sure it has traits of memento as well #his movies are like puzzles ig! like you really have to keep track of all the details and what takes place when #i think theyre really fun bcs more and more becomes clear to you #im not sure what the most confusing nolan movie is hmmmm probably tenet or inception right? #oppenheimer: much more clear in general since its following literal historical events but just in a non linear manner #the only real reason i found it a bit confusing is bcs i didnt know a lot of the characters and also was trying to figure out the timeline #and then interstellar is more just confusing in concept bcs it has to do with time in the 4th dimension and all that #but i think the story is pretty understandable its just hard to wrap your head around the different time/dimension concepts #then again....ive watched it probably more than 4 times by now! character introduction: zenais (she/her)

as a cub, zenais wondered about the world outside of the sandswept isles. the inquest to the south terrified her, yes, but she was also curious about them - possibly more than was good for her health, considering her lack of skill with a weapon. her scouting helped the olmakhan learn how to avoid them, at least. eventually, her thirst for knowledge became unbearable; she left the isles with a promise to send stories of the larger world back to her people. she's quite far from home by now, but she has more to see!

2. A headcanon you weren't sure about at first but have come to like!

Ooh this one is kinda tough~ I'm generally rather removed from the fandom at large so I actually don't really know of a lot of popular headcanons out there, let alone ones I initially didn't like and came to like~ I really only ever consumed content about Baatar and Kuvira as they're my favorites, and with them I'd either like a headcanon outright, or dislike it outright. I will say, at least in the limited fan content I've consumed, there is a common idea of Baatar having gone to university in Ba Sing Se for a period of time. I've seen at least 3 folks use that in their writings for him, and while it was never something I was "unsure" about, I didn't initially include the idea in my version of him. I don't know who penned that headcanon first but I was always hesitant about being seen as "copying" anyone lol. I do like the idea though, especially with my very codependent versions of Baatar and Kuvira, some time apart like that during their "good years" would be rather interesting, since they have been in each other's lives for most of their lives, Baatar choosing to go where Kuvira can't follow- even for a short period of time, I can see her holding against him for a little while. Especially with her preexisting abandonment issues.

9. A ship that isn't your OTP but you enjoy

Once again I'm pretty singularly invested in Baatar and Kuvira but there are definitely some canon and fan ships that I like! Canon wise I'll always have a soft spot for Bolin and Opal, just because they're cute and I like the potential dynamic it creates with Baatar specifically. A lot of it is pretty contingent on my rewrite versions, but what can I say, I'm a bit of a sucker for puppy love. Lyn and Kya was an early ship I'd see in the fandom that I always was like *Kermit nodding gif* ooh yeah I like that, and I've also seen Lyn and Bumi which I also really like, but I never really delved into fan works of either admittedly. I'll confess that lately the crack ship of Baatar and Zhu Li has been on my mind, but definitely not as a positive ship in any way, more like a mutually waged psychological warfare that they aren't even trying to hide from each other kind. I don't remember what sparked the idea- I'm not usually one for crack ships as I tend to be pretty single-ship through and through, but it's been a fun dynamic to think about, especially the kinds of conversations they'd have.

#Ask Matsu #LoK Thoughts #[ The Baatar/Zhu Li thing is something I'd love to play with but it definitely would not be canon to my main AU lol #as fun as that would be Baatar does not expend any more energy on people than he needs to save for Kuvira and to a lesser extent Bolin #But the idea of him and Zhu Li waging war with each other behind the scenes is very interesting to me #especially with her really just trying to get information she can use against them out of him #and he's fully aware of that and just letting whatever happens happen to both see how far she'll take it but also to keep the leash drawn #in the event she actually choses to do something drastic #also for the sake of clarity Kuvira would be 100% fully aware and find it entertaining on a number of levels #her and Baatar do not keep secrets #she was probably the one to be like “lol you should see where that's going” #though I do think Baatar and Zhu Li would have some very interesting conversations #they're in very similar positions and I'm sure he'd wanna know why she put up with Varrick for so long #i mean he'd have a good guess but he'd wanna hear what her rationale is in her own words #and on Zhu Li's part she wants to know what twisted Baatar up so bad #but she'd also find a lot of his viewpoints about being a non bender rather gratifying #because he's willing to say out loud what a lot of people don't want to hear #I didn't meant to go on about that singular aspect lol but it's something I've been thinking about a lot lately #and crack-ships are rather new for me so this is uncharted territory #does this even count as a crack ship tho? maybe not #it definitely started out as “hehe the two glasses people on the train” but now it's like “hehe psychological warfare” #idk maybe it still counts lol ] #orangepanic

idk how other ppl learn to read characters but even when someone has very few lines, if they're not a few throwaway lines and have a smidgen of thought put into them, you can really deduct a lot of things from what they say without mountains of dialogue and array of actions they take.

cIaus, even Iucas via his few lines and interactive dialogue, is so easy to understand and learn what hes about from the dialogue you are given. it shouldnt be hard to mess him up

and even tho these are more active characters in the story with goals to achieve and story beats to hit, u rly can apply the same to lngo and 3mmet. u can make assumptions or deduct possible aspects about how they act from breaking down their dialogue and possible routine. some things might be completely speculative and pulled out of thin air but as long as it matches the characters general front its hard to go wrong
