I have such a hard time choosing the best taylor swift album bc like… reputation is for the girlies who got hurt and don’t want to let anyone in and everyone sees them as a bitch but they’re really very soft and sentimental and misunderstood and then red has arguably some of the best songwriting in her entire discography like listening to it is a visceral experience and then she dropped the vault like what but then speak now was her fuck you to everyone saying you’re not good enough and she was only 19!!! and it was a fuck you wrapped up in sparkles and purple tulle and we love to see it and then there’s 1989 which was a standstill moment where she decided to 100% chop off her hair, move to the city, and fully go with her heart and you can hear it in the silence etc and then we have lover where she wrote a whole album about a love she wanted so badly to find and then it was cut short by covid only to have cruel summer as a top ranking track FOUR, i repeat FOUR years later and there’s fearless which was what arguably put her on the map and remains so iconic with banger after banger and lest we forget debut where everyone can relate to falling in love with ideas when you’re 14 and having your heart absolutely shattered and she captured it so timelessly but then we have folklore which was a total 180 from anything she’s ever done and she absolutely KILLED IT and she did it so well that she was like lol we couldn’t stop writing so here’s evermore, the sweet solstice album to close up all the ends of wondering what if and then she was like surprise bitch here’s midnights which is somehow 100% about my life like this woman is performing witchcraft and i am forever under her spell

Elvis had been awake since dawn, trying not to have a mental breakdown at the sound of his alarm screeching through the bedroom at the ungodly hour he had set it at the night before. It was his day off from work seeing it was Saturday, but he had a job planned for today that was so much more hellish than having to deal with screaming children at 8 in the morning on a week day.
To the toddlers in his class he was a God, he could actually handle them and they’d hang on to his every word.
But he knew people on the internet were ruthless. Especially when it came down to scoring tickets for Taylor Swift’s newly announced tour. He would much rather be doing anything else, preferred to be covered in paint by dozens of tiny hands and run back and forth whenever the kids in his classroom would call his name every five seconds. Or you know… sleep a few more hours.
But he wasn’t doing this for himself – he was doing it for you, his girlfriend of two years. Your birthday was in three months and when you nearly screamed his ear off when your favorite singer announced her tour, he knew he just had to get these tickets for you. He didn’t tell you about his plans though and made up the excuse that Jerry was celebrating his birthday on the same day Taylor performed in Memphis. Seeing Jerry’s birthday was indeed somewhere in the same month, you didn't question it.
You were pouty about it, but accepted the fact that you wouldn’t be able to see the blonde singer in the flesh this tour. You didn’t have enough money to travel to another city just for a concert, so unfortunately there wasn’t much you could do. You tried to hide your disappointment as much as you could, but Elvis saw right through you, which only made him more determined to get these tickets. He hated seeing you sad, even when you’d try to hide it from him.
He did not have to get up as early as he did since the sale wouldn’t go online until 11, but he was scared that he wouldn’t wake up in time and would have to watch his surprise for you pour down the drain. You had been staying over at your friend’s house last night, so today truly was the perfect day to do this since he knew you probably wouldn’t get home until noon.
You liked sleeping in just as much as he did.
He took a long shower to wake himself up before he fixed himself a quick breakfast, turning on his laptop that was placed on the dining table. There was literally no use to take position for the cold war he was about to step into, but he was nervous. This was the perfect gift for you and he would be damned if he would fail.
How hard could it really be? He was confident enough to admit that he could handle a couple of excited teenagers and twenty somethings over the internet.
But boy, was he wrong.
As the clock creeped closer to 11, he had Ticketmaster open on both his laptop and phone. He made a second account on the website, in hopes that would give him an advantage of getting the tickets he needed.
“What? Are you kidding me?” he mumbled to himself as he got flung right into the waiting queue as the tickets went online, not even giving him a chance to pick the tickets that he wanted. No, that he needed.
He grasped his phone from the table, quickly refreshing the page on it before he clicked on a date that was a few days later than the Memphis show in a nearby city. Once more, he was placed in the queue.
“C’mon, c’mon, please...” he begged at his laptop as he saw how slow the waiting process was going. He was pretty sure a lot of people were in the exact same position he was in right now – he didn’t care, though.
They were only slowing his process down even more.
The urge to refresh the page was big, but he didn’t. He shouldn’t. It would throw him right back at the end of the line. He was growing more impatient and even a little frustrated. He didn’t even listen to Taylor Swift himself other than when you’d blast it through the house and sure, some of her songs were good, but was it really worth waiting in front of a damned computer for this long? He had been sitting here for 20 minutes already.
If it wasn’t for you, he would’ve clicked out long ago.
Hell, he would still be sleeping.
He got up from his seat and grabbed his pack of cigarettes from the corner of the table, wanting to step out onto the balcony of your shared apartment for a smoke until he saw the page on his laptop loading and jumping to the next screen. He sat back down so fast he almost lost his balance, throwing the cigarettes back on the table as he looked at his screen.
“Fuck! No!” he exclaimed in frustration as the website let him know the Memphis show was completely sold out. He ran his hands through his hair as he groaned, flipping his screen off.
God, he looked like an idiot.
“Fuck you, Ticketmaster. Fuckin’ scammin’ assholes,”
He grabbed his phone again, letting out a laugh in disbelief as he saw the Nashville show was sold out as well. His hands were starting to get sweaty, his nerves never fading as he started looking at other dates of the tour. He didn’t care if they were far away, didn’t care about the fact that it would cost him a lot more if he’d buy tickets in a city that was across the country.
His eye landed on a few Los Angeles dates. He must’ve refreshed the page for thirty minutes, not caring that it kept telling him there weren’t any tickets available.
Sold out. Sold out. Sold out.
He still had hope, though. Still praying and wishing, begging to get some good karma back into his life.
He was a good son, a good boyfriend and a good neighbor.
He deserved these tickets.
You deserved these tickets.
He nearly screamed when he saw two tickets pop up for one of the LA shows after refreshing the page for about ten more times. He didn’t even care on what date the show was or that it was 1615 miles away from Memphis.
They were actually good seats, and expensive as hell, but he managed to get them. He figured someone must’ve waited too long before they checked out their purchase and he was glad that he waited.
One man's misery is another man's fortune.

Three months had passed and he actually managed to keep the concert a surprise for you. It worked out well, maybe even better, since the show he got tickets for was in the same month as your birthday. He planned to keep you in the dark about seeing Taylor until you’d get to the venue, but he did tell you where you two were going when he mentioned the trip he booked for a long weekend.
He told you it was for your birthday and you couldn’t be more excited. You barely left Memphis, only went to other cities in Tennessee to visit family every now and then, and you had always wanted to go to LA. You had no idea Elvis had more than one surprise up his sleeve.

“C’mon, El. We’re in Los Angeles, the city of angels,” you preached to your boyfriend as you stood by the end of the bed, which your boyfriend was currently hogging as he laid in the middle of it, in your hotel room.
“It’s only nine. We’re young, we should be out there and getting drunk!” you pointed at the window, to the bustling city below you, in hopes your point would come across better.
It was Friday night and you wanted to go out and explore the city more since the two of you arrived late last night. You had been out and about all day, but everyone knew big cities were more exciting at night. You had no idea why Elvis was refusing to go out tonight, because he had seemed just as excited about this weekend as you were.
“Baby, I’m tired. My feet are killin’ me,” he lied with a small pout, hoping you’d give in to his cuteness and crawl into bed with him. He opened his arms as he smiled sweetly at you, but you just sighed and crossed your arms as you walked over to the window to look out of it.
Such a drama queen, he thought.
“Tomorrow we’ll go out,” he told you as he kicked the blankets off of him, slipping his arms around your waist as he stood behind you. He leaned his chin on your shoulder, turning his head to kiss your jaw. “I already have a whole day planned for us, but you don’t want to waste sunlight because you have a hangover, do ya?”
You puff out a sigh again and leaned back in his embrace as you nodded. You knew he was right. You wouldn’t go home until Monday afternoon, so you still had enough time to go out and party like you usually barely did. Sundays were better for hangovers, anyways.
“Fine,” you grinned as you turned your head to look at him, stealing a kiss. “What are we doing tomorrow?”
“It’s a surprise, for your birthday. The only thing you need to worry your pretty little head about is what you’ll be wearing,”
“Casual? Formal? I need to knew these things,” you snapped your fingers at him playfully and he laughed as he grabbed your hands and brought them back down.
“Casual… chic?” he suggested with a chuckle, knowing you liked to dress up whenever you went out. “Fancy, but not too fancy. Oh, and don’t wear heels. You’ll be standing and dancing a lot,”
You raised your eyebrows at him, trying to think of what he had planned. Honestly, the only thing you could think of was a club or a bar, or something in that direction. Taylor’s show that was tomorrow never popped into your mind, because you knew it was sold out faster than you could blink.
“I like dancing so I’ll forgive you for tonight,” you joked, looking out of the window again. While you did want to go out and see more of the city right now, you weren’t actually mad at him.
As long as he was with you, you didn’t really care what the two of you were doing or where you were.
“I need a little more convincing. I think you’re still mad,” he grinned against your skin as he kissed his way down to your neck, his hands releasing yours to wander up your stomach and to your chest. You knew the words he spoke were a joke, but his actions were definitely not.
“I thought you were tired?”
He laughed softly as he walked backwards, tugging you along to the bed. He spun you around in his arms and grabbed your chin, grinning down at you.
“Never too tired for this, you know that,” he stole one more kiss before he had you on your back on the soft mattress, hovering above you before you had time to protest.
Not that you were planning to. You never told him ‘no’ and if you did, it was very rare. And getting lost in a sea of sheets with your boyfriend couldn’t compare to the nightlife Los Angeles had to offer.

You and Elvis slept until noon the next day, because after getting a noise complaint from the people in the next room, you two decided to raid the mini bar. No major hangovers slowing you down, thank God. You felt better after getting some food in you, not giving Elvis the chance to tell you ‘I told you so’.
“Why do I have to wear that? It’ll ruin my make-up,” you whined as you looked at the sleeping mask that was dangling from his fingertips. You just came out of the restaurant you had an early dinner at, because Elvis insisted you needed to eat enough for tonight’s activity, and you were starting to get nervous.
You could handle the elements of surprises but blindfolded?
Rather not.
“Babe, put ‘em on,” he told you as he took a step closer to you, placing the elastic of the mask over your head before you could protest. You gasped as you widened your eyes at him, trying to grab his hands when he pulled the mask over your eyes but he swatted them away every time. You were sure people were looking at you two as if you were complete idiots, but then again, this was LA. Nobody probably cared.
“Don’t be so stubborn and just follow me,” he whispered in your ear as he wrapped one arm around your shoulder, taking your hand in his. “You trust me, don’t ya, little?”
You shivered at his warm breath tickling at the shell of your ear and sighed softly as he kissed it. You nodded your head, slowly walking forward with his guidance. You did trust him and you doubted this surprise would be anything bad or crazy, so you really had no other choice than to put your faith in his hands.
You were quite proud of yourself for not completely freaking out or losing your shit – after walking for what seemed like forever, you were placed in an Uber with your boyfriend next to you. He was too busy talking to the driver about God knows what and you kept trying to sneak your hand up to the mask to lift it and look out the window to see where you were. Elvis noticed every time though, lacing your fingers together with his, trapping you. You huffed in annoyance, pouting as you sat there in the backseat, feeling like you were being kidnapped.
Which you were, in a way. Only willingly and with lots of reassuring kisses from Elvis.

You heart skipped a beat as the car came to a stop, nerves intensifying tenfold when Elvis helped you get out of the car and said his goodbyes to the driver. You weren’t in the right mind to do the same, squeezing his hand which earned you a deep laugh from his side. You felt him move behind you and place his hands on your shoulders, his voice right next to your ear as he spoke.
“You can take ‘em off now, Lover,”
You frowned slightly underneath the mask, thinking the pet name was weird. Formal, almost. He had never in your relationship called you that.
You didn’t need to be told twice though – as you pulled off the mask and blinked a few times to let your eyes get used to the light again, you noticed the huge banner that was plastered on the SoFi Stadium.
Taylor Swift – Lover Fest Tour
You stood there. You stood there and stared without speaking a word.
Now Elvis was getting nervous, afraid that he made a mistake. Afraid that this isn’t what you wanted. He was even starting to doubt if this was your favorite artist at all, despite the amount of records you had at home or the fact that he knew the names of every single one of Taylor’s cats because you wouldn’t shut up about the celebrity.
He even listened to her music on his way to work for the past months so he could remember the lyrics and sing along with you, not wanting to seem like a fool in a sea full of die hard fans.
But when you turned around and he saw the tears in your eyes, his nerves faded away completely. A small huff escaped his mouth as you practically jumped in his arms, squeezing the air out of his lungs with your firm embrace.
“Oh my God, I love you,” you cried in excitement.
“Only because of this?” he grinned teasingly as he looked at you when you pulled back to look at him.
“What? No! I love you, always always always,” you giggled as you grabbed his face, kissing him all over. He grabbed your hands as he laughed, looking at you.
“I love you too, little. You deserve it,” he told you, pecking your lips as he slipped his hands in yours. “You’ve been so busy with work and everythin’, I couldn’t let you miss this,”
“Thank you so much, baby. You’re the best, you know that?” you sighed happily as you squeezed his hands, stealing another kiss. “How did you even manage to get tickets? It was sold out in minutes,”
He grinned as he let go of one of your hands, swinging his arm over your shoulder to take you to the back of the queue. He raised his chin, smug smirk sitting on his face.
“You know, I got my ways,” he looked at you as you laughed, slapping his chest softly before you wrapped your arm around his waist, hugging into his side. “And you just said it, didn’t ya? I’m the best,”
You rolled your eyes, but allowed him to bathe in the size of his ego. As long as it wouldn’t drown him, you thought it was rather attractive.

“Y/N, now you’re takin’ it too far,” Elvis told you as his shoulders slumped on purpose as you pointed at a t-shirt at the merch stand. You had just bought one for yourself and Elvis was about to drag you away from the goodies until you spotted the shirts for males. He had already seen them but hoped you wouldn’t.
“Why? You’ll only have to wear it tonight!” you laughed as you wiggled your eyebrows at him, pointing out the shirt to the employee.
“Exactly, a waste of money. Let’s get a drink and find our seats,” he told you but you stopped listening. You took the shirt the girl handed to you and held it in front of him, smiling brightly as it seemed it was the right size. You turned back to the girl as you took your wallet out of your purse and Elvis sighed, knowing that he couldn’t stop you.
As he looked around, his eyes met those of another guy who was obviously here with his girlfriend. The redhead next to him was all dressed up – cat ears and glitter on her face and the whole shebang. Just like him, his girl had him dressed in a tour shirt. A baby pink and blue one.
At least you gave him a white one and you weren’t dressed up like a cat. Could be hot, but not outside of the bedroom.
He gave the guy a sympathetic nod before he turned back to you, taking the shirt you handed to him to pull it over his head.
As long as you were happy, he was too. And right now, you were all smiles as excitement basically oozed out of you. He already forgot about the shirt and didn’t give a damn about what anyone would think, not even Jerry who you were definitely sending the picture that you just took to.

You were happy that Elvis told you not to wear heels, because as soon as Taylor appeared on the stage and the show started, you were up and out of your seat to move to the music. Elvis was standing as well, arm hung lazily around your waist as he sipped on his beer, ever the supportive boyfriend.
He didn’t recognize every song but the ones that he did know, he sang along to. It warmed your heart and he could see it made you happy, especially when he’d sing the lyrics of the sweet songs to you.
You were over the moon. There was not a single worry on your mind. No work stress weighed you down and despite this not being the music he listened to, Elvis felt the same. There was something magical about concerts, about an artist connecting with their fans through music. And although some girls were dressed up all silly and too much for his taste, the vibes in the venue were perfect.
He immediately recognized the song Paper Rings and he downed his beer, throwing the empty cup on his seat. You were too occupied with cheering and singing, not noticing he took a small box out of his pocket.
“I like shiny things, but I'd marry you with paper rings
Uh huh, that's right
Darling, you're the one I want, and
I hate accidents except when we went from friends to this
Uh huh, that's right
Darling, you're the one I want
In paper rings, in picture frames, in dirty dreams
Oh, you're the one I want,”
You turned to him to sing the lyrics to him and that’s when you noticed he was down on one knee, the ring sparkling in the lights as he held it out to you in the box. You gasped as you widened your eyes, hiding your mouth behind your hands. His actions caught the eye of the people around you as well and they were all watching in both excitement and anticipation.
You two even caught the attention of Taylor herself, since you were on the second row. Not only did you have a perfect view of her, she had one of you and your boyfriend as well.
She laughed in excitement while she sang, pointing at you and Elvis so everyone would look at you two. You hadn’t noticed the camera that was pointing into your direction as well, or the fact that you were currently on the huge screen, showing your boyfriend’s proposal to the entire stadium.
Elvis wasn’t aware either, but he didn’t care. He wouldn’t care if there were thousands of people around them, or just you and him. He loved you more than life itself and had been planning this before he even got the tickets – he knew this would garantuee him a definite yes, though.
He didn’t even have to stay the words, because you were already nodding and screaming your answer. As he slipped the ring around your finger and he stood up to kiss you, he did ask you again. Just because he wanted to hear you say it again.
“Will you marry me, little?”
You cried as you nodded, kissing his lips.
“Yes! Thousand times yes!” you yelled above the music, laughing as you wrapped your arms around his neck to hug him as tight as you possibly could.
“She said yes!” Taylor yelled excitedly into the mic as she looked at you two, clapping her hands. You nearly died as she blew you a kiss and Elvis laughed as he wrapped his arms around you from behind, smiling at Taylor before he attacked your face with kisses.
The rest of the show you and Elvis danced and your heart skipped a beat every time he sang along, his head right next to yours as you were still in his arms. You loved and appreciated him so much and you already had a few ideas of how to properly thank him.
You were ready to leave as soon as the show was over, but before you and Elvis could leave your seats, a blonde middle aged woman approached you two.
You immediately recognized her as Taylor’s mom and almost had a heart attack on the spot, though you had enough self control not to scream in her face. When she asked you two to come backstage because her daughter wanted to meet you, Elvis had to do the talking because you were starstruck.
“We would love to, mrs. Swift,” he smiled politely at her as he held onto your hand, tugging you along to follow her to the backstage area. You could barely speak and Elvis couldn’t stop laughing at you, pulling you into his side to talk in your ear.
“Please don’t scream in her face, baby. Just hold my hand and you’ll be all right, hmm?” he whispered and all you could do was nod, inhaling a deep breath through your nose to blow it back out. It did nothing to calm you down.
The three of you stopped walking as you reached Taylor’s dressing room and once the door opened and the blonde that you had been admiring from the crowd came over to you with her arms wide open, you squeezed Elvis’ hand firmly before you quickly let go and wrapped your arms around Taylor.
The singer was absolutely wonderful to you and your boyfriend. She congratulated you on your engagement, which you were still trying to wrap your head around, and she signed anything you asked her to. She signed Elvis’ shirt as well, which you were definitely going to tease him with later because he seemed rather happy about it.
His music taste was on the complete different spectrum – mostly punk and rock bands that you forgot half of the names of.
The louder, the better, he always said.
But he always accepted your taste just as you did his. Neither of you would mock each other’s music and you freely let him play whatever he wanted through the house. Perhaps it was only something simple, something normal for a couple to not be assholes to each other, but to you and Elvis it was a sort of respect. Music meant a lot to the both of you and just because he didn’t know every Taylor Swift song by heart, didn’t mean he wasn’t secretly excited to meet her face to face.
After talking some more and taking pictures, you and Elvis left the dressing room and got escorted to the exit by Taylor’s mother again. The woman seemed to be trusting of you two, or just busy, because she said goodbye before you and your boyfriend actually left the building.
The backstage area was just as huge as the venue itself and it seemed like your boyfriend had other plans than leaving. He tugged you away from the exit door and laughed softly as he placed a finger against his lips, pulling you along through the long hall ways. You squealed softly as he dipped into a room, taking you right along with him.
It was an empty green room that hadn’t been used you came to realize as Elvis turned on the lights and locked the door from the inside. If anyone had a key, which you were sure everyone that worked here did, they could open the door from the outside. Elvis didn’t give you a chance to unlock the door and walk out, pulling you into his chest as he grabbed your hands.
“Elvis! We can’t do this!” you whispered with a giggle, trying to ignore his hands that were now snaking around your waist and slipping down to squeeze your ass.
“Why? Nobody is here,” he grinned mischievously as he leaned in to kiss your lips. His lips were so plumb and soft that you couldn’t resist him. You never could.
“We don’t live in this city, anyways. What’re they gonna do? Kick us out?”
You wanted to protest once more, tell him that you and him should move this to your hotel room, but the words died on your tongue as he kissed his way down to your neck, sucking on that little sensitive spot underneath your ear. That’s when you turned to putty in his hands and he damn well knew it.
“S-someone.. m-might hear..” you managed to whisper, your words coming out stuttered. His lips and tongue against your warm skin was distracting you too much, so even though you voiced out your worries, you couldn’t get yourself to really care if someone would hear or not.
You were aware that this green room was a risky place to have sex. Especially because the artist that just performed at the stadium was still freaking present somewhere down the hall, but as he lifted you up and put you down on the couch, you were already too far gone. It wasn’t the first time you two fooled around outside the comfort of your own home, but for some reason it felt even more exciting in a place like this.
You were sure the green room had been used for worse things.
Elvis didn’t stop you when you pushed him back and got on your knees in front of him, quick fingers working on his pants. There was a hint of surprise in his eyes though and you didn’t miss it.
“Wanna make you feel good,” you told him in hushed voice, your eyes meeting his as you gave him the sweetest smile you were capable of.
“Oh? And why’s that, huh?”
He already knew the answer, he just loved hearing it.
“I was proposed to and met Taylor fucking Swift in one night,” you grinned at him as you pulled his zipper down, fingertips hooking underneath the elastic of his boxershorts. “And I like the taste of your cock,”
He lifted his hips up a little, allowing you to pull his pants and underwear down to his thighs, groaning softly as you immediately wrapped your hand around him. “Good enough for me,”
You raised an eyebrow at the smirk he wore on his face – so confident and cocky.
Once you brought your hand up to caress your thumb over the head of his cock before you brought it back down again, the cockiness was smacked right off of his face as he parted his lips, a soft moan rolling off his tongue. He tangled his fingers in your hair to keep it out of your face as you took him in your mouth.
Usually, you’d take your time when giving him head but you were aware that you didn’t have all the time in the world and you weren’t leaving this room before he fucked you.
“Shit,” he groaned softly as you looked up at him when you brought your head back up, tongue tracing the most prominent vein on his cock before you lapped it around his sensitive tip. “Do that again,” he told you as his teeth sunk into his lower lip, half lidded eyes watching you as you repeated the action. When you grinned up at him, he let out a moan and threw his head back on the couch.
He tried to be quiet, he really did, but as you got sloppier and sucking him off like it was the last time you’d ever do so, he couldn’t keep his big mouth shut. His hips were bucking up to try and follow your mouth every time you moved up and he threw his arm over his face, biting down on the short sleeve of his shirt.
“Fuckfuckfuck, s-stop,” he gasped as he felt his orgasm nearing, looking down at you as he caressed some hair out of your face when he took his fingers out of it. He was just as eager as you were and while you loved having him come undone in your mouth, you moved fast as you got up and pulled your denim skirt up, slipping your panties down.
“G-God… Hold s-still for a second,” he groaned as you sank down onto him, his hands grabbing your hips to keep you in place so he could get used to being inside of you.
He was sensitive and you were just so tight and warm.
You placed your hands on his shoulders, leaning in to kiss him. He immediately slipped his tongue inside of your mouth, deepening the kiss and you didn’t move until you felt his hands moving down to your ass, squeezing the flesh in his palms. You knew it was one of his signs that he was ready for it.
You moaned into his mouth as you moved onto him, immediately at a steady pace. You were sure your ass would have his hands imprinted on them with how hard he was squeezing, but you couldn’t bring yourself to care – the slight sting mixed deliciously with your pleasure.
“F-faster baby,” he whispered as he pulled back from the kiss, leaning back as his hands moved up to your clothed breasts, squeezing them softly through the fabric of your shirt. It didn’t do much for you since you still had another top on underneath the tour shirt you bought together, but you didn’t stop him. Instead you did as he told you and moved faster, moaning shamelessly as you chased your own high.
He moved one hand down in between your bodies, fingertips having no issues with finding your clit as he started rubbing it with skilled movements. He knew just what you liked and knew that this would get you where he wanted you faster – your nails dug into his shoulders as you moaned a little louder, your eyes meeting his.
He gave you a small smile. It looked sweet and innocent, not matching the pace of his fingers and your thrusts at all.
You smiled back at him, moving your hands to his chest and right on top of Taylor’s face that was printed on his shirt.
You didn’t need an extra pair of eyes watching the small sin you were committing.
“I’m close, so close, baby,” you grunted as you clenched your fingers in his shirt, eyes fluttering shut as your orgasm hit you like a ton of bricks. Thighs shaking, walls convulsing erratically around his length.
A smark remark laid heavy on his tongue, something along the lines of you ruining his autographed shirt, but he swallowed the words as he came undone not long after you did. He removed his fingers from your clit and held onto your hips, holding you still as a deep moan escaped his throat, hips stuttering up into you a little.
You ran your fingers through his hair before you collapsed on top of him, both of you catching your breath as he was going soft inside of you.
“I love you, little,” he hummed in your ear as he kissed your cheek and you slowly lifted your head off his shoulder, smiling at him as you caressed the back of his neck with your nails. The way he shivered made you giggle. “I love you more, babe,”
He was only seconds away from protesting, telling you that simply was not possible, but he was interrupted by a loud knock on the door. You both widened your eyes at each other, panic settling in your stomach as you got up as quick as you could. You pulled some tissues out of the box that stood on the small coffee table in front of the couch and cleaned some of his cum that was dripping down your thighs, shoving the tissues to the bottom of the trash can by the door.
“Someone in here?” A deep male’s voice barked from the other side of the door and you and Elvis quickly got decent. Just as you pulled your skirt down and smoothed out your hair, a key was stuck in the keyhole of the door to turn the lock but Elvis swung the door open before the person on the other side could.
A broad shouldered security guy stood in front of you, looking angry as he stared you down. “Passes,” he simply said, holding his hand out.
You grabbed Elvis’ arm and Elvis scratched the back of his head, his other hand feeling his pockets as he gave the guy an awkward smile. He was looking for something neither of you were in possession of and while he had been so confident and careless at the start of this, he was starting to panic now too.
He was pretty sure you could get arrested for something like this. And that was not how he wanted this night to end – although it would make for a funny story to tell your future children and grandchildren.
He had absolutely no idea what to do or what excuse to use, but like an angel fluttering down from Heaven itself, Taylor and entourage walked down the hall way, on their way to leave the stadium. The security guard was currently having a go at you and your boyfriend and you were close to tears until Elvis nudged your arm and nodded his head in Taylor’s direction.
“Is there a problem here?” she asked as she appeared next to the man in front of you, her question aimed more at him than at you and Elvis.
You slipped your hand in Elvis’, sucking in a deep breath of air and keeping it in your lungs. The man didn’t waste time in explaining what happened and how he assumed that you and Elvis had done… something inside the room.
Taylor wasn’t an idiot – she saw the hickey in your neck and the flush on your cheeks. The both of you also completely forgot about the hint of red lipstick that was stained on Elvis’ lips.
“That’s a serious accusation to make, isn’t it? I know these two and I’m positive that the thing you’re accusing them of is simply not true,” the singer spoke confidently as she crossed her arms, smiling as she looked at you. “I’m sure they just lost their way back here,”
You and Elvis widened your eyes, nodding your heads.
“Y-yeah, that’s it. It’s so big back here, we got lost on our way to the exit,”
“Huge place. Very cool, though! You must love your job,” Elvis squeezed your hand firmly to get you to stop talking and you immediately did, pressing your lips into a thin line.
Taylor laughed softly, nodding as the security guard started apologizing, a shade of crimson creeping up his neck.
“It’s alright. Just try not to judge people so quick, hm?” she told him, patting his shoulder as she nodded her head while starting to walk away. You could see her mother laughing softly at the two of you and Elvis quickly pulled you along, following the others out of the venue.
You talked with Taylor for a little bit, apologizing for not leaving the building after you exchanged your first goodbyes but she could only laugh about it.
You probably wouldn’t have survived if she would’ve been angry with you. Elvis was thankful that she was as nice as you always told him – he really was not looking forward to going back to the hotel with his girlfriend being completely inconsolable.

“Did you have a good time, beautiful?” Elvis asked as you both sat in the back of an Uber after you both came down from the crazy events of the evening. You leaned into him and looked up, placing a kiss on his chin as you smiled.
“The best, because you were there,” you whispered, sprawling out your fingers that were in his lap. “Anywhere I go with my fiancé is fun,”
He laughed softly as he looked down at your hand, caressing his thumb over the ring he put on you tonight. He couldn’t stop smiling, kissing your temple. “You like the ring?”
“I love it,” you told him as you looked at it, lacing your fingers with his. “But you know I’d marry you with or without a diamond,”
“Even with paper rings?” he grinned and you looked back at him, laughing softly.
You leaned in, softly pressing your lips against his.
“Especially with paper rings,”

The NYT should be ashamed of its gross Taylor Swift op-ed speculating she’s a lesbian
By Johnny Oleksinski
Tumblr media
It never ceases to amaze me what the New York Times will devote thousands of words to.
But even the criminally verbose Gray Lady shocked everybody last week when it published an out-of-its-mind 4,764-word op-ed analyzing why Taylor Swift might be a lesbian or bisexual.
Yes, the equivalent of 13 pages of a novel was spent on a yucky wild goose chase to out a famous woman who has a famous boyfriend.
No, we’re not back in homophobic 1985. It’s still supposedly enlightened 2024!
If you read that highfalutin crock in the morning paper, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were still asleep — it was that bonkers.
As I cross-country skied through the endless article, many questions popped up.
Tumblr media
An opinion piece in the New York Times speculated that Taylor Swift could be a lesbian or bisexual.
How did a creepy, irresponsibly speculative analysis of years of pop lyrics, flamboyant costumes and out-of-context interview quotes wind up in a publication that once ran a lofty ad campaign proclaiming, “Truth. It’s more important now than ever.”?
How was the following sentence allowed to run in the New York Times opinion section? “What if the ‘Lover Era’ was merely Ms. Swift’s attempt to douse her work — and herself — in rainbows, as so many baby queers feel compelled to do as they come out to the world?”
Why are readers paying for the Times when they can get this “Is she? Isn’t she?” garbage on TikTok for free?
And most pressingly: Why is it not enough for Swift to be one of the best-selling music artists of all time, an unrivaled businesswoman in the entertainment industry and an unflinching LGBTQ ally? Why must she be wedged into some opinion writer’s head-in-the-clouds narrative that dreams Swift would come out and be a “hero” to queer people? What’s so wrong about her being a straight white woman who makes great music?
Why must Taylor Swift be everything for everybody?
Tumblr media
A Swift source told CNN, “There seems to be no boundary some journalists won’t cross when writing about Taylor, regardless of how invasive, untrue, and inappropriate it is.”
Not only do you need a machete to hack your way through this overgrown opus — writer Anna Marks’ piece is offensive and socially backward for a newspaper that fancies itself the Vatican City of progressive mores.
Start with the headline: “Look What We Made Taylor Do.” Sure, it references Swift’s hit “Look What You Made Me Do,” but it also seems to recklessly conclude that the 34-year-old singer is “queer” even as she denies it.
Says the Times: It’s society’s fault for not letting Taylor be the person we have unilaterally decided she is!
Tumblr media
Well, according to Swift, she’s not a member of the LGBTQIA community at all, although she supports them personally and artistically.
A Swift source told CNN, “There seems to be no boundary some journalists won’t cross when writing about Taylor, regardless of how invasive, untrue, and inappropriate it is — all under the protective veil of an ‘opinion piece.’”
Too right.
The Times op-ed cited instances of Swift “dropping hairpins” in music videos, which some perceived is a coded queer message.
By the way, Lady Gaga is also a gay ally and wrote and performed an LGBTQ anthem called “Born This Way,” but she is not yet the subject of a ridiculous, 4,764-word Twitter thread about her private life in the New York Times.
A woman’s insistence is, apparently, not enough for the crackerjack investigators over on 40th Street.
As the op-ed jabbers on, it becomes weirder and weirder, like a thriller movie scene that takes us into a conspiracy theorist’s basement with walls plastered in a celebrity’s photos and scribbled-on newspaper clippings.
Marks mentions instances of “dropped hairpin” imagery in Swift’s music videos and concerts, saying that is a coded message for queer identity: “They suggest to queer people that she is one of us.”
OK. Elsa lets her hair down during “Let It Go” in “Frozen.” Is Elsa also a lesbian who befriends a talking snowman?
The writer adds such incontrovertible bombshells as that the pop star once dyed her locks the colors of the bisexual pride flag and that she often wears rainbow outfits. Call the Pulitzer committee.
Swift’s “Eras Tour” film made $250 million at the worldwide box office.
The whole kooky thing is written in the tone of somebody trying to refute the John F. Kennedy assassination “single bullet theory” in the corner of a bar at 3 p.m.
And yet, as the Times so often does, the writer pretends that the piece is much more important and intellectual than trashy whispers in a supermarket gossip rag.
This part had me in stitches.
Tumblr media
“Feverish discussions of her escapades with the latest yassified London Boy or mustachioed Mr. Americana fuel the tabloid press — and, embarrassingly, much of traditional media — that courts fan engagement by relentlessly, unquestioningly chronicling Ms. Swift’s love life.”
Um, what do you call this 4,764-WORD dissection of her sexuality? A doctoral thesis? Please.
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert sold more than $1 billion in tickets and she was named Time’s 2023 Person of the Year.
Most bothersome is that op-eds like these don’t arrive in a publication via the stork. They are pitched to an editor, get approved, take a long time to write (Marks’ last piece for the Times ran in September) and undergo rigorous editing. There are many steps before you actually read it.
So, even if Marks’ article is not the official editorial stance of the Times, giving her the go-ahead to try and out a celebrity as gay in the guise of “the conversation” is damning enough.
In 2023, Swift’s Eras Tour grossed more than $1 billion in ticket sales. The movie of that concert did an additional $250 million at the worldwide box office — a record for a film of a live music performance — and Time magazine rightly named her their Person of the Year.
Remarkable achievements, all.
But over at the New York Times, who cares? They just wish she was gay.
ts1989fanatic:
I don’t often agree with a rag like the New York Post but in this instance I could not agree more. For The New York Times to give any credence let alone publish some 5,000 words speculating on anyone’s sexual identity let alone someone of Taylor’s stature is just shitty journalism.
It doesn’t matter that it was published as an opinion piece it was still published in TNYT and frankly it was poorly written speculation at best.
As a fan of Taylor Swift it makes me cringe when people be it journalists or fans discussing or speculating about her private life and sexuality, it’s nobody’s business but Taylor’s.

Taylor Swift and her 13 nights in Latin America
In 2023, after a long wait, for the first time ever Taylor Swift toured in Latin America. There were 13 concerts (nice coincidence) of The Eras Tour in 3 different countries.
In August Mexico was the first country of Latin America as well as the first country of the international leg to receive The Eras Tour. The only registry of Taylor in the country before was in 2011, where she played some songs for a small group of people aboard the Allure of The Seas, while the ship was stopped in Mexico.
Taylor performed in Mexico City for 4 consecutives nights. In Mexico, people speak Spanish, so Taylor spoke these words in the concerts: Gracias (means thanks), Te amo (means I love you) and Ciudad de México, Bievenidos al Eras Tour (means Mexico city, welcome to The Eras Tour).
Tumblr media
The surprise songs were:
August 24 – Mexico City: I Forgot That You Existed and Sweet Nothing
August 25 – Mexico City: Tell Me Why and Snow on the Beach
August 26 – Mexico City: Cornelia Street and You're on Your Own, Kid
August 27 – Mexico City: Afterglow and Maroon
To see my posts about Mexico concerts (click here).

In November, Taylor came back to Latin America to perform for 3 consecutive nights in Buenos Aires, Argentina. However, the second concert had to be rescheduled due the chaotic weather. It was supposed to happen in November 10th and it was postponed to November 12th. It was her first time ever in the country.
Fun facts:
In the first night Taylor wore new outfits for Lover Act: a pink jacket to perform The Man and a pink bodysuit to perform the other Lover songs (click here to see it)
Argentinian swifties made a project where they held a paper written "We will stay" while Taylor was performing The Archer
Tumblr media
In Argentina, people speak Spanish, so Taylor spoke some words in the language. Instead of saying "Hi!" in the beginning of the concert, Taylor said "¡Hola!". Taylor also said: Te amo (means I love you), "Buenos Aires, Bievenidos al Eras Tour" (means Buenos Aires, welcome to The Eras Tour), and "Do you happen to have diez minutos?" (diez minutos means ten minutes) before playing All Too Well (Ten Minute Version).
Tumblr media
The surprise songs were:
November 9 - Buenos Aires: The Very First Night and Labyrinth
November 11 - Buenos Aires: Is It Over Now? + Out Of The Woods (mashup) and End Game
November 12 - Buenos Aires: Better Than Revenge and "Slut!"

In the same month, Taylor travelled to Brazil to perform 6 concerts. It was her second time in the country. In 2012 Taylor have been in Rio de Janeiro to play for a small group of fans in a pocket show. She also released a Long Live version featuring Paula Fernandes, a Brazilian singer who sang a part of the song in Portuguese. Taylor and Paula played the song together at the pocket show.
Brazil was the country in Latin America to receive the biggest number of concerts of The Eras Tour as well as the only country in Latin America to receive The Eras Tour in 2 different cities: São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Taylor was supposed to performe for 3 consecutives nights in Rio de Janeiro. However, the second concert had to be rescheduled due to the atypical weather. It was supposed to happen in November 18th and it was postponed to November 20th. On the next weekend, she performed for 3 consecutives nights in São Paulo.
Fun facts:
It rained on the second show in Rio de Janeiro
On the third show in Rio, Taylor's shoe heel broke, she threw to the crowd and a fan grabbed it and took it to home
Kaya Scodelario (actress) attended in the last show in Rio de Janeiro
Paula Fernandes attended in the last show in São Paulo
Brazilian swifties made a project where with their cellphones they formed the Brazilian flag at the crowd (click here to watch a video)
Tumblr media
Taylor Swift was honored with a projection on Christ The Reedemer statue. No other international artist was honored with projection on the statue before. Brazilian swifties put a lot of effort to make it happen. Also, a lot of swifties participated in a fund rising connect with the Catholic church of Rio de Janeiro that is responsable for the Christ statue
Tumblr media
In Brazil people speak Portuguese. Taylor spoke these words in the language: Olá (means hi), Rio, bem-vindos a Eras Tour! And São Paulo, bem-vindos a The Eras Tour! (means welcome to The Eras Tour), obrigada (means thank you), eu te amo (means I love you).
Tumblr media
Sadly, a beautiful soul was lost at the first show in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Clara Benevides was a Brazilian swiftie who travelled from another state to Rio and was looking forward for her first Taylor's show. You will always be remembered! (Click here to know more about Ana)
The surprise songs were:
November 17 - Rio de Janeiro: Stay Beautiful and Suburban Legends
November 19 - Rio de Janeiro: Dancing With Our Hand Tied and Bigger Than The Whole Sky
November 20 - Rio de Janeiro: ME! and So It Goes...
November 24 - São Paulo: Now That We Don't Talk and Innocent
November 25 - São Paulo: Safe & Sound and Untouchable
November 26 - São Paulo: Say Don't Go and It's Time To Go
To see my posts about Brazilian concerts (click here).
Taylor after the concerts via her social medias:
Tumblr media
I'm sure every swiftie who has been in any of these nights made these shows even more spectacular.
Latin America hope to see you @taylorswift soon again ❤️
💫 Long live all the magic we made... ✨️

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour opening weekend: Tears, joy and ‘therapy’
Fans descend on Glendale, Ariz. (a.k.a. ‘Swift City’) for a long-awaited chance to commune with their pop icon, revel in her lyrics and express their true selves
By Emily Yahr
GLENDALE, ARIZ. — Taylor Swift had endless choices when deciding how to kick off her first concert tour in nearly five years on Friday night, a captivating spectacle that stretched over three hours and included 44 songs. After starting with a brief snippet of “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince,” the namesake song to her 2020 Netflix documentary, she launched directly into “Cruel Summer.”
As the track’s hazy opening synth-pop beats blasted through State Farm Stadium, you could hear the gasps, with simultaneous shouts of “OH MY GOD!” barely heard above the ecstatic mayhem (and in some cases, heaving sobs) among the nearly 70,000 in attendance. Swift, resplendent in a shimmering bejeweled silver bodysuit and matching knee-high boots, beamed at the crowd, because she knew exactly what she was doing.
Swift fans believe that, in a parallel universe, “Cruel Summer” (the yearning anthem on her 2019 album, “Lover,” about a steamy and toxic relationship, with a chorus that demands you sing-scream along) was destined to be the song of the summer of 2020, released as a single as Swift planned to embark on a series of festivals called Lover Fest. Obviously, the global bummer of 2020 happened instead. Yet the obsession with “Cruel Summer” persisted, especially because Swift had never performed it live.
So this wasn’t just a song. For many, this was a stinging, subconscious reminder of how much we lost and what could have been. It was also a moment of pure, delirious joy — not only because of the thrill of hearing a beloved song live for the first time, but also because it’s clear that even one of the most powerful celebrities on the planet had felt all of that, too. It doesn’t seem like a coincidence that at the top of her first show on her Eras Tour — 52 dates of sold-out stadiums — she wanted to pick up right where she’d left off before the world shut down.
“I don’t know how to process all of this and the way that it’s making me feel right now,” Swift told the stadium when the song was over, her voice slightly shaking. Later, she added: “I’m really, really, really overwhelmed, and I’m trying to keep it together all night.”
ying to keep it together” has rarely applied to the 33-year-old Swift, who, nearing the end of a second decade as a professional musician, has ascended to a rare, glorified status as a once-in-a-generation pop star. She has no chill. After rising to fame with songs about her awkward, unpopular teen years, she now embraces cringe and earnestness. That’s part of the draw for her legion of fans, who see her as one of them. After Ticketmaster melted down during sales for the Eras Tour, the parent company’s chairman went on the defensive by pointing to the extreme demand, claiming that the number of people trying to buy tickets “could have filled 900 stadiums.”
The Swifties shelled out hundreds — sometimes thousands — of dollars for tickets and travel and descended on Glendale this weekend, determined to make the often harrowing process of ticket-buying a distant memory. The Phoenix suburb, which recently hosted the Super Bowl, could hardly contain its excitement. The mayor declared it would temporarily change its name to “Swift City,” and electronic signs on the highway encouraged safe driving with Swift puns: “CUT OFF? DON’T GET BAD BLOOD. SHAKE IT OFF.” “RECKLESS DRIVING? YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN.”
But that was nothing compared to the electric energy surrounding the stadium. To be a Taylor Swift fan is to learn to master the clues and secret messages that could be embedded in every lyric, public comment and social media post, no matter how opaque. To be a Taylor Swift fan is to always come ready, which includes devising the perfect outfit to wear to a concert, with unlimited options bestowed by the singer herself, who chose a tour theme, “eras,” that celebrates her past and present.
Being in the crowd was like being in a force field where all pretenses are gone; Swift’s music covers the spectrum of bubble-gum pop (which she refers to as “glitter gel pen lyrics”) to deep introspective poetry, and her concerts are a place where you can dance or cry to either. Swift has laid bare her own insecurities and emotions over 10 studio albums and more than 200 songs. Here, in her presence and among one another, fans become their truest selves.
Scanning the crowd, you could see countless sequins and bejeweled skirts and jackets, an homage to the “1989” era. There were also dark blue dresses with stars for “Midnights”; red heart sunglasses, a black bowler hat and a T-shirt reading, “Not a lot going on at the moment,” a shout-out to the “22” music video; dark lipstick and black leotards as a tribute to “Reputation”; lyrics scribbled down people’s arms in marker, something Swift used to do before every concert; and No. 13 painted on hands, another former Swift tradition, from when she was starting out as a country star.
“My inspiration is the Red Tour, one of Taylor’s iconic outfits, and I just wanted to re-create it,” said Giacomo Benavides, a 26-year-old content creator dressed like a circus ringleader who traveled from Peru for the show.
Some were even more specific: Olivia Jackter of Tucson, 26, wore a traffic-light get-up that displayed the phrase “I don’t know,” referring to a lyric from the song “Death By a Thousand Cuts.” Would non-Swifties understand it? Of course not. Did that matter? Of course not. “This was going to be my costume for Lover Fest. I’ve been waiting for this for years,” Jackter said.
A group of 20-something women attached plastic Easter eggs to white T-shirts with photos of some of their favorite “Easter eggs” and hints that Swift has dropped over the years. One man dressed in a cat costume as Swift’s newest pet, Benjamin. Two women whooped excitedly when they walked by each other in a line for food and saw that they wore matching floral dresses similar to what Swift wore to the 2021 Grammy Awards.
Another popular theme was “All Too Well,” the searing breakup ballad that recently got a second life when Swift released the updated 10-minute version. Lots of fans wore outfits displaying those lyrics. Ivan Hernandez of Phoenix sported a blue T-shirt that read, “Where’s the scarf, Jake?” — a reference to the song’s supposed subject, Swift’s ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, and the lyric that suggests that he swiped her scarf.
“[My son] wanted to go to the concert, and he said, ‘Let’s wear outfits,’ and I was like, ‘Well, I’m not going to wear an outlandish outfit,’” said Hernandez, 46, whose 13-year-old son, Eli, was wearing an Eras Tour shirt they had bought at the merchandise stand Saturday afternoon before Swift’s second show. “So I just went online and started looking for something about ‘All Too Well,’ and this is the one that came up.”
Swift, who misses nothing, praised everyone for their effort from the stage.
“You have really outdone yourselves, guys. The way that you decided to show up to this concert, you really, really decided to show up,” she said, noting that she saw people dressed as mirror balls (from the song “Mirrorball”); willow trees (from “Willow”); and “sexy babies” (from “Anti-Hero” — and too complicated to explain). “I have seen, like, really amazing, specific visual representations of lyrics or weird online inside jokes that we have.”
“I was thinking about tonight and how special this is,” she added. “You have led me to believe, by you being here, that it’s special for you, too, so it’s really nice that it’s mutual.”
Swift’s unusually close relationship with her fans started back when she was a country artist, a genre in which singers are supposed to think of listeners as their peers. Swift always went a step beyond, chatting with fans on Myspace back before Nashville executives even knew what that was, and that connection has continued to this day.
In concert, Swift referred to the journey that she and her fans have taken together, like they’re a family. (The “four new members of the family,” she said, are the four albums she has released since her last tour.) She made no secret of the fact that she monitors fans’ social media activity, even dryly noting that her 2020 record “Evermore,” is “an album I absolutely love, despite what some of you say on TikTok.” (People on the platform are convinced that “Evermore” is her “forgotten child.”)
This is all why her bond with her fandom remains so strong. She connected early on to fellow teenage girls who inferred from society that their crushes and feelings and dreams were silly, only to find someone in Swift who took them seriously and who could articulate, in songwriting, what they didn’t even know they were feeling.
“By the time she’s done living through something and writing about it and releasing music, I’m living through it,” said Briana McReynolds, 32, of Phoenix, who showed up in a T-shirt covered in lyrics, as well as a purple streak in her hair to represent “Lavender Haze,” Swift’s latest single. Her best friend, Chris, accompanied her to the concert as an “emotional support Swiftie.” (“I’m doing my best,” he said.)
She’s just accidentally kind of written the soundtrack for my life,” McReynolds said. “She’s matured with all of us, or we’ve matured with her. So no matter what age I am, she can totally sing my heart.”
Caitlin O’Connor, 32, of San Diego came to the show with her mom; they have seen every Swift tour together for the last 15 years, and O’Connor makes sure to go multiple times.
“You don’t need therapy; you need Taylor Swift songs,” O’Connor said. Swift’s concerts, she explained, “are my happy place, and there’s nothing else like it. It’s the most natural high you could get in your whole life.” On her arm, she has a tattoo of lyrics from Swift’s “Treacherous”: “All we are is skin and bone, trained to get along.”
“I love that line. Really, at the core, everybody is human,” she said. “And that’s also the thing with Taylor Swift concerts: Everybody is really nice. … You bond over something immediately.”
Swift is highly aware of the world she’s built, and she doesn’t shy away from it. In a surprisingly direct admission, while introducing the song “Mirrorball,” from her 2020 album “Folklore” during an acoustic set, she reiterated to the crowd just how intensely she’s missed them over the past several years.
“I was thinking about how one of the songs that I wrote with you in mind during the pandemic was one of the first songs I wrote on ‘Folklore,’ and it was me writing about how badly I craved the connection that I feel from the care that you have directed my way,” she said. “I was trying to think of a sort of eloquent way to say that I love you and I need your attention all the time.”
The stadium quieted as she strummed and sang.
“I’ve never been a natural, all I do is try, try, try; I’m still on that trapeze, I’m still trying everything to keep you looking at me. ’Cause I’m a mirror ball. … I’ll show you every version of yourself tonight.”
And although she asked the members of the crowd for their attention, she didn’t need to; it was already there, and it always will be.

Here i am!! So i finally got back to my writing and this one got those creative writing juices flowing and it gave me so many ideas so enjoy!!
…………………………………………………………………………….
Coffee at Midnight.
K! X fem reader based off the song “ you are in love “ by Taylor Swift.
…………………………………………………………………………….
You and K had been friends for what feels like forever. You guys had gone to the same school and were close in age so you two naturally grew closer. Before you even realized, you two were best friends. But as time went by you couldn’t help but look at K differently, Over the years he had filled out and his features grew more defined. Anyone who knew K would notice this, unless they were blind.
But you hadn’t even registered your own feelings changing, not until you were head over heels for him. You two shared a love of the performing arts so when he debuted, he managed to get you an audition and then he stepped back and let you handle it. He knew you’d land the rest yourself, he always had a blind faith in you. He trusted you more than you trusted yourself. It was a little bit after that, that you realized you’re own feelings towards K.
It was one look, and a dark room, a light hearted joke.
It had been a few months since you had begun your training, and to say that you were exhausted was a major understatement. It was well past 10 at night your monthly evaluations were right around the corner and you couldn’t quite nail the choreography that you would be tested on. Your body was tired and you were drained but you couldn’t just give up. Your eyes were aching so you had dimmed the lighting just enough to relieve the dull ache.
You were so into your practice that you hadn’t heard your phone going off, you didn’t hear the messages that k was sending to check on you. And lets just say when he got no response, he went to check on you himself. Because how dare his best friend not answer him.
What you did hear was the door to the practice room opening. You had thought for a second that it would be an instructor coming to kick you out of the room, luckily it was not. It was just K.
“You weren’t answering me…i was worried about you.” K said, being the one to always speak his mind. But he could read you like a book. So why bother hiding your exhaustion. Without saying anything, you let out a sigh and not-so-gracefully sat down on the ground. You laid back and simply said. “I have been at it for hours and i cannot get it right no matter how hard i try. Im not that much of a dancer.”
And then he gave you that look, the look that would make you feel so loved and cared for that it unlocked all of those hidden feelings.
“Please don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re doing so well. Even if you do not realize it. You know….i think i saw some janitors, trainees… even a few pigeons watching you dance through the windows. An amazing performance.” He said jokingly, although he truly meant that you did an excellent job. He had just wanted to see you smile instead of looking like you would cry any second.
And after that, your feelings for him kept growing but you were certain he would never see you as anything more than a friend. Still you always had hope that he /could/.
That was until you had gone to the mall one day and were window shopping by yourself, you had invited K along but he had said that he was at a practice. You didn’t think anything of it, they had a comeback coming up anyway. You really didn’t give it a second thought. Well…until you did.
You had walked into your favorite store, the place where you got all of your clothes from. It was locally owned and they only had this one location. Everything about it made you smile, from the dresses to the shoes, to their jewelry. You were happily browsing but that soft peaceful smile that you had faded in an instant.
Right in front of you was K and a girl you had never seen before standing in front of a bracelet rack. They were clearly close, leaning closer to each other as they talked.
In that second, it felt like your whole world had came crashing down. Why had he lied to you about practice? Why was he here with /her/? And why was she standing so close to him? A thousand questions raced through your head as K looked up and made eye contact with you. There was panic in his eyes in that second, and without a word you turned around and left. If only you knew the real reason that he was so panicked….
Unknown to you, the reason he was there in the first place was because he had wanted to buy you a bracelet and confess his own feelings that had grown. He wanted it to be romantic and special. A sweet confession. He had asked his cousin to come along and help him pick out something that you would like. He only wanted to surprise you and not hurt you.
He thought situations like this only happened in the dramas that he watched on the television. But K had seen that devastated look in your eyes and he felt the pain that washed over you in that second. You might have fallen for him first but he fell harder that’s for sure.
it was midnight when you decided to go to the convenience store and get some coffee, your head was still swirling with emotions, and the weather outside represented how you were feeling, windy and stormy. Then you felt your phone go off and found that K had texted you, saying that he was on his way to your apartment. All you said in return was that you were getting coffee, to come a different time.
As you rang up your coffee and a little sweet treat, you pulled your hoodie up to cover your hair before going back out in the rain. You wee still hurting but you couldn’t see K until you felt calmer. You didn’t want to lose him entirely.
The bell sounded from the door and before you knew it you heard your name bing called. You’d recognize that voice anywhere.
“she is my cousin.” That was all k said as he walked up to you. And you were still in shock because how had he known that you were at this convenience store.
“This is the only place open that has coffee near your place..” He seemed to hear your silent question, then you noticed that his hair was soaking wet from walking in the rain.
“still. I thought you had practice.” The hurt in your voice had said enough as you walked around him heading back inside. It was all a fresh feeling for you and you still had so many questions left unanswered.
“stop and listen please.” K said following you outside into the pouring rain. That’s when he let the truth slipped past his lips as he let like he was losing his best friend. He grabbed your hand and you felt a smooth, cool metal press against your hand. “I didn’t know that you felt this way about me until i saw that look in your eye today. (Y/n) i was planning to do this in a better setting but ill just tell you now. She was helping me buy you a bracelet, I couldn’t tell you because it was going to be a surprise. But i really like you, actually no. You’re my best friend and you mean the entire world to me, i love you. Im sorry you had to find out this way.” The look in his eyes was a desperate one.
You felt shocked, you had never once considered any of the things that just fell past his lips, and as if he saw your shock he let go of your hand and left the bracelet there. He rocked back on his heels to give you time to process his words as the rain fell around you two.
“i… you like me? Really? But how did you…. Did you know I’ve felt the same?”
“not until today…i saw that look you had. Like you wee heart broken…I can’t risk losing our burnt toast sundays…” His comment made you crack a smile as all the pieces slowly fit into place.
and the rest…. Well that’s history.

Dorothea MoonWater/Moonseeker Mugle AU:
“Hey, Dorothea, do you ever stop and think about me?
When we were younger, down in the park.
Honey, making a lark of the misery”
I was listening to Dorothea by Mrs. Swift the other day and suddenly this AU idea was born:
Walburga was once a famous actress that had fallen under obscurity and wanted her children to pursue a career in the model/movie industry. So, she decided to raise them in a restrictive way since birth. Sirius obviously couldn’t handle that treatment so he left after sometime but Regulus stayed with their mother (kinda similar to canon).
Our lover boys had their first real interaction under the bleachers, Regulus was thinking about showing support to his brother during a game but decided to back off in the last second and Remus was never the biggest fan of crowds so he decided to follow his brother’s friend to see what was going on. Two introverts sharing an awkward moment but that doesn’t necessarily felt bad in their personal opinion, something has changed that day.
Those two become friends and closer after some other experiences and meetings, bonding over academic stuff, books, weird tv shows, love for cats. Their relationship grows in a good slow-paced way until both of them were aware of their own love feelings. Remus decided to confess first expecting the worst (he’s so oblivious sometimes) but it was Regulus who had initiative for their first kiss. Due living in quite a small town they had to be really careful, specially about Black’s mom, her sons not being straight would never be something okay for Walburga considering she believed and planned for the future, Regulus sadly never had the courage to talk about that to anyone besides his closest friends and Remus.
Their love create a cute love bubble but soon Remus slowly start to notice how much pressure is put over his boyfriend shoulders, everything revolving around him being the perfect boy to please his mother wishes. One day, after Regulus prom has passed, they were discussing about the future, their relationship and career plans. It doesn’t ends well, they get into a big fight and after that happened they stop talking to each other with Walburga deciding to move to a big city to focus on her son’s career as a future celebrity.
“I love performing, i love acting, the atmosphere, all the praise and applauses. It’s been like that for such a long time, just because I talked to you about some minor insecurities it doesn’t mean that wouldn’t be a good future for me.”
“Of course not, I know you had a lot of good moments and how much talented you’re, I was sitting in the front row of that play last month remember Love? You know I’ll always support your decisions, don’t you Reggie? I just want you to think if they’re truly yours! I want you to be the happiest and content possible, that you’re doing it for you, not for her but for you own good…”
Some time is passed, Regulus really become famous showing up on tv and commercials, his face is all over magazines and outdoors, now living in a big city and never coming back his hometown. However, miles away from there, in a old small town, everything they did, the time spend together, all the love and memories their shared still is so vivid in Remus mind. Even after all the years passed without communication, Lupin still remembers how they would be going for hours just talking about their favorite books, favorite nerdy tv shows, their kisses and secret dates…
As for Regulus? He tells himself how much lucky he’s, how he’s living ✨the dream✨daily. But sometimes, when his deep thoughts starts bubbling into his mind, Black thinks about missing every day that one person who truly got him, the one who saw behind his facades and fake smiles (but that’s talk for some other time)
(Was it at least decent? That’s my first AU idea so sorry if it sucks haha)

mash characters as taylor swift albums:
trapper: 1989; immaculate vibes, party central, city boy, tough act to follow
klinger: fearless; “in my best dress/ fearless” (enough said), unhinged, talks about home/family a lot (i.e. fifteen, the best day)
margaret: reputation; tough on the outside but secretly soft, bad bitch, donald penobscott was her getaway car
potter: debut; horse girl
radar: speak now; all about coming of age/loss of innocence, both are country™️, hawkeye looks at radar and “never grow up” just plays on a hoop in his head
winchester: evermore; so much older and wiser and I-, but both are intellectuals and value alone time
bj: midnights; just unhinged as hell, bj definitely feels like everybody is a sexy baby and he’s a monster on the hill, he is the mastermind, sweet nothing feels very him and peggy
sidney: lover; this album has its shit together and so does sidney, also he’s such a cinnamon roll, he deserves this
and finally, I saved the best for last…
hawkeye: double feature of red and folklore; yes he gets two albums- I’ll break it down
red: early seasons hawkeye, he’s happy free confused and lonely at the same time, but both the album and hawkeye are concerned with the passage of time, both experience a wide range of emotions, and both have a deeply ingrained sense of what should be (and it’s a deeply ingrained sense that’s being tested), and they’re both rebellious in nature
(if you are so inclined “the last time” is him saying goodbye to trapper and “begin again” is him meeting bj)
folklore: later seasons hawkeye, concerned again with the passing of time but this time in reference to childhood vs. where they find themselves now, both want to go home but can’t, both are concerned with a need to perform for others despite hawkeye’s shattered edges glistening, both are concerned with the idea of “madness” and what it means to be labeled as “mad”, also “they told me all of my cages were mental so I got wasted like all my potential and my words shoot to kill when I'm mad I have a lot of regrets about that I was so ahead of the curve, the curve became a sphere fell behind on my classmates, and I ended up here”

Fool for Falling: Pt. 2 (S.R x You)
Pio’s POV
"Got a minute," I asked her, after the set performance. She glanced at me with a curious smile, her eyes sparkling under the stage lights. "Yeah, sure. What can I do for you, P?" I took a deep breath, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement.
"I know you should be out there mingling with your work friends, and Dr. Hot Genius but I want to play one more song. An acoustic one." I said my voice barely above a whisper. Her eyebrows raised in surprise, and she tilted her head slightly. "An acoustic song plus the rain outside? I think I've seen that film before," she said with a playful grin. I chuckled at the obvious Taylor Swift reference and shook my head. "Good one, so are you okay with playing another one? You know this song. You helped me write it when I was trying to get over an ex lover," I said, remembering the countless nights we spent laughing and sharing our deepest secrets. Her smile softened, and she nodded. Y/N’s POV Pio waited. Wondering if I should tell the story of how this song came about. I nodded. Maybe, it is about time to share how we both, decided to write something so tragically beautiful, just so we could fill the void and emptiness we were both feeling at that period in our lives.
"Heyyy!! So I know everyone is enjoying our jamming session a little while ago but it is drizzling outside and why don't we serenade you with a special song?" I announced, my voice echoing through the room. The crowd erupted into applause, excited to hear what was coming next. They all settled down as I try to change my electric guitar to an acoustic one. I strummed a few chords and glanced at Pio, who was seated next to me with his piano.
"This song was written during a time when Pio and I were experiencing the pain of unrequited love," I said. "But not with each other, y'all are nasty. He is like a brother to me. An annoying one." Laughter filled the room, and I continued, my heart fluttering with a mix of nostalgia and vulnerability.
Of course, I know the song, Pio's been referring to. We wrote it during one of those nights, on the rooftop of my apartment, with the city lights below and a gentle drizzle falling.
"This song was written during a very difficult case. I couldn't really explain what the case was about since you know confidentiality and all that," I continued, glancing at Pio who nodded in agreement. "But I can tell you that it weighed heavily on my heart," I added, my voice taking on a somber tone. "Every day, I found myself grappling with the complexities of the case, trying to find justice and closure for those involved. It was emotionally draining, and I needed an outlet to express my feelings and emotions.” Pio chimed in, "Yeah, I remember those days. You were buried in documents, spending countless hours at the office, and even when you are here at the bar, your mind was still occupied by the case. I knew you needed something to help you cope with the stress.”  “It also did not help that I had to watch the person I was, still am, irrevocably in love with, fall in love with someone else--- and get betrayed.” I added. I glanced at the team’s table, taking in all their shocked expression, especially that of Spencer’s. I am no behavior analyst but I still learned from the few years that I have been working there (besides I still work there). I saw pain and vulnerability in his eyes. Or maybe I think I did. I am not so sure anymore. Is he even aware that these songs are for him?  As I shared the last few words, a heavy silence engulfed the room. Penelope’s expression softened, understanding the pain that those words carried. She knew the depths of my emotions and how difficult it had been for me to witness the person I loved falling for another. "I can't even begin to imagine how challenging that must have been for you," Pio finally said, his voice filled with empathy. "To have your heart tied to someone while they were drawn towards another person and then to be betrayed... It's an immense emotional turmoil to endure." Nodding, I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself as I continued, “So yeah, this goes for all of you, especially to my person. Maybe one day, in the near future, when it’s sunny and the flowers are blooming, I will get to tell you how I feel. But for now....”  Pio played the piano and the melody filled the air. I let my voice carry out to the room as I sang my most heart wrenching song. Fuck Cat Adams for evoking this feeling of hopelessness and jealousy within me.  Please don't leave me, baby I don't wanna be alone But if you leave me, baby I'll have no one here at home
I glanced towards the audience and saw Spencer sitting there, his eyes locked on me, captivated by the performance. It was clear that he felt the depth of my feelings, even if he might not fully understand their origin.
You remind me of the summertime But sadly that's all I have But maybe in another life I wouldn't feel so bad I know what you told me But I don't know what I was thinking I know I'm supposed to be ready But I never did let it sink in We had what we had We had what we had I continued singing, my voice quivering with the intensity of the emotions pouring out. The lyrics laid bare my love for him. Spencer's expression shifted subtly as the song progressed, indicating that he was genuinely moved by the depth of my emotions. There was a mixture of surprise, curiosity, and concern on his face, as if he wanted to understand what I was going through but was hesitant to intrude on something so personal. Hoping for a miracle When I wake up in the morning When I open my eyes It's summertime again Please don't leave me, baby I don't wanna be alone But if you leave me, baby I'll have no one here at home Please don't leave me, baby As the final note of the song hung in the air, a bittersweet feeling settled over us. The music had poured out all the pain and raw emotions that had been bottled up inside. I couldn't help but feel exposed and vulnerable. The weight of baring my soul in front of Spencer was both liberating and terrifying. But I wasn't ready to confess everything just yet. There were so many layers to our connection, and I feared that revealing my true feelings might complicate our friendship. As I stepped away from the microphone, the applause from the audience snapped me back to the present moment. There was a mix of genuine appreciation and empathy in their applause, as if they had felt the emotional journey I had just taken them on. After the performance, as I mingled with the my friends, Spencer found his way to me. His eyes held an unspoken understanding, as if he sensed that there was more behind the song than what was revealed on the surface.
"That was a beautiful and heartfelt performance," Spencer said, his voice filled with warmth.
"Thank you," I replied, trying to keep my emotions in check.
"Is everything alright?" he asked gently, looking into my eyes with genuine concern. I paused for a moment, contemplating whether to open up to him then and there. But I held back, not yet ready to confess the full extent of my feelings.
"Yeah, everything's fine. It's just... that song means a lot to me," I replied, offering a small smile to hide the turmoil within. Spencer nodded understandingly, not pressing further. "Well, it definitely touched everyone in the room. Penelope’s still crying over your last performance and I think Derek is calling Sav to tell her how much he loves her. And I think JJ has Will on the phone when you were performing to share this moment with him and I’m pretty sure Rossi is thinking of getting married again and Em... well Em and Hotch are allergic to feelings and that’s just how they are...” Spencer rambled, as if afraid that if he stops talking, the bubble will burst. I am so tempted to ask him what he thought of it. All of it. But I am scared. Not now.  "Thank you," I said softly, grateful for his kind words. One day, I told myself, I will tell you I love you but for now... I am content to just be Y/N, your friend from work.

I SAW TAYLOR SWIFT - My Time at the July 8th Eras Tour Show!
Tumblr media
When I first saw a tour announcement for Taylor Swift back in November last year, I never in my wildest dreams (haha) thought I would be able to go. That mindset stuck with me when I registered for presale, got accepted into presale, and as I was waiting in the queue that November 15th. The great ticket wars.
My persistence paid off though, as I waited for five hours before I got in. I found the perfect seats for me and my sister- section 340, row 4, seats 11 and 12 of Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. I was able to check out and get the tickets. We were going to see Taylor Swift live.
This is my experience with the first concert I have been to in my life, and the best one I will have ever seen. Be warned, this is a LONG one.
I got more and more excited for the show as the (almost) 8 months were flying by. I told everyone I knew that I was going, even people I didn't know! As the day got closer and closer, I was still in disbelief. I was in the car and I was in disbelief. That we were actually going to see Taylor in person.
The gates for parking were expected to open around 2:30 PM, so we left around 10 AM to make sure we had a good spot in the waiting line. Thankfully, we did! There weren't a lot of other cars when we got there, and while we waited we made a few acquaintances too. We got out of the car and walked around a little and talked to others who were going to this show. There were some people from Pennsylvania that were making bracelets, and another two that attended the Speak Now and Red tours- this would be their third time seeing her.
Parking passes started getting scanned just before 2, and probably 10-15 minutes later, we were all on our way to parking lot G. We found our spots and RUSHED to the merch booth. Thankfully we were one of the first there, so there wasn't a long wait at all. I got the tour-exclusive Midnights: Late Night Edition CD and a cream tour shirt, my sister got a medium blue crewneck, and my mom got a quarter-zip and water bottle. And from there, the waiting game began.
Gates opened at 4:30 but my sister and I decided to get in line at 5. It wasn't that long of a wait to get in at all, as the lines were moving quickly. We got our tickets scanned and I let out an excited "we made it!!" once we stepped through the gate. We then got our light bracelets and made our way to our seats. And let me tell you- once I stepped through and saw everything... it took my breath away.
Tumblr media
We left after a bit to get popcorn and Sprite (unfortunately missing most of Gracie Abrams and my sister's favorite from her- 21), but when we got back, MUNA was a few minutes from taking the stage. Their opening set was very enjoyable, and they even brought Gracie back on for their last song.
But then, just 30 minutes later... it was time. A clock appears on the screen and counts down to zero. And then finally- Taylor appears on stage, starting her Lover era set off with 'Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince'. I was yelling and incredibly excited- as was the rest of this sold-out show. 'Cruel Summer' followed, and yes, my sister and I YELLED THAT BRIDGE.
From there, she would go from era to era. Following Lover was Fearless, and everyone sang their hearts out. evermore was next, and I loved waving my flashlight to 'marjorie' and yelling the bridge to 'champagne problems'.
After that, my FAVORITE era ever- reputation. It was the era that I had the most video of. I got a good chunk of each song, but recorded the most at '...Ready for It?' and the 'Don't Blame Me/Look What You Made Me Do' mashup. I yelled so much, I have no idea how my throat isn't sore as of writing this.
Once the snakes slithered off (literally, there was a big snake on screen, not real thankfully), it was time for the small Speak Now segment. 'Enchanted' was a beautiful performance with amazing dresses and dancers. But little did I know that the addition from the night before would be carried over to this show- 'Long Live' was added to our setlist. Taylor and the band all got in a line for the song, and it was definitely something I'll remember all the time. I remember looking up at the stars as I heard the song... this one means so much to me and it made me just a little emotional.
Next was Red! This was an incredibly fun set with all the singles we know, and a full-production performance of the 10-minute version of 'All Too Well'. This was all I wanted out of a live performance of the song, and experiencing it made me so so happy. I've always wanted something more than an acoustic production for a live performance of it, so the full production made everything much more special.
folklore was next. The album that released while I was on vacation... I will always remember it as that. Just like evermore, this set was so so beautiful, matching the aesthetics of the album perfectly. The spoken interlude with the lyrics of 'seven' was so poetic and relaxing. The new pop-rock style production for some of the songs was incredible too, especially for 'august' and 'my tears ricochet'.
The folklore cabin would then be outlined with white lights, more white lines and lights appeared on the screen, and then- 'Style' played. We were in the 1989 era. All of her hits from this album were played. 'Blank Space', 'Shake It Off', 'Wildest Dreams', and of course, 'Bad Blood'.
With 'Bad Blood', the house graphic that was shown all throughout the concert was burnt down. There was a fire... quite literally! Pyrotechnics were used and I could feel the fire that shot up from the sky from my seat. It caught me off-guard, but I loved it so much.
After this was arguably the most exciting part of the tour- the surprise songs. To add a bit of background, each show has two surprise songs- one that's played on guitar and another on piano. Taylor could seemingly play anything during this set, and it's always fun finding out what she'll play.
To add even more background, during the Speak Now tour there was a song that she played on a special koi fish-decorated guitar. That song was 'Last Kiss'. It also has a lyric about the date July 9th. This naturally led me to believe, correctly, that...
Yes. She brought the guitar out. She said that the next day was July 9th. She played 'Last Kiss'. I fucking yelled. Volume warning for the video below.
If you somehow have trouble hearing me, I'm the one going "It's the red dress!" and "THE KOI- NO! NO! OH MY GOD!". Hope that helps!
Not only did she play it... but she had to start the song over twice. The first time she messed the lyrics up. The second time, she got them right and THOUGHT she messed them up again. I don't think there's a song that's been messed up twice, especially like 'Last Kiss', from what I know.
The next song was another fan-favorite, 'dorothea'. This was another song that I really liked from evermore, and I remember seeing people's online reactions afterwards. It seemed like they were devastated by this combo. While I do feel a bit bad... I feel very happy and honored that I got a special duo.
Then... Taylor dove into the stage. A trap door opened and she took a dive into it, like diving into water. On-stage effects showed her swimming up, while backstage she was getting ready for the final era of the tour. Midnights.
She played the hits 'Lavender Haze' and 'Anti-Hero', but my favorite performances from the era were definitely 'Vigilante Shit' and 'Karma'. The latter was the final song of the show, and it was a wonderful performance. It was colorful, full of energy, and even had fireworks! I remember staying as she showed off the band and dancers, putting my phone down on the ground and doing the hands-heart to her. The night was over.
My sister and I left just as the fireworks and show were ending, and after a few look-backs, we rushed back out to the car to get on the road. Surprisingly, we didn't have to wait in traffic for over an hour, and we all got home at almost 2 AM. My throat was dry, I was a little hungry, but even then... I felt amazing. I had just gotten home from one of the best experiences of my life.
Thinking back on it all now as I write this, I can't help but to wish I could experience it again and again. I know that would be a ridiculous amount of money, but even then... this is something that I want to see so many more times. Hopefully a movie version can come out at some point... but I know that will never match the feeling of being there in person.
I'm incredibly happy that I had the opportunity to go to the show, and I feel so lucky that I could snag those tickets back in November. The wait was worth it, for absolutely everything. I guess you could say that it's been a long time coming.

Well duh!
Tumblr media
here's nothing Taylor Swift fans love more than an Easter egg. Give them a hint of a secret message, a conspiracy theory, or something to decode and Swifties are all over it.
So, it's no surprise, as they (we) anxiously await the announcement of international tour dates, that they would take matters into their own hands and try to determine where Swift might be playing next once she completes her current U.S. performances.
What is the likelihood of a Vancouver show? Let's break it down:
Tumblr media
Seattle vs. Vancouver
Taylor Swift has been on five international tours; her current Eras tour is her sixth. Of her five previous tours, she came to Vancouver for three of them: Speak Now, Red, and 1989.
Swift skipped Vancouver during the Fearless tour, her first ever, and the Reputation Stadium tour, but she did play multiple other Canadian cities and Seattle.
ts1989fanatic:
Actually this is factually incorrect, for reputation she played two nights in Toronto that’s it.
Was Vancouver left off the list because she was already playing Seattle? Perhaps. There were already some artists who will either play Vancouver or Seattle for their west coast shows.
Swift played Vancouver during the Speak Now and Red tours and skipped Seattle but she played both during 1989. So overall it's hard to tell if we can bank on a Vancouver show given that the Eras tour is coming to Seattle.
Swift had another scheduled concert tour, Lover Fest, that was cancelled due to COVID and Canada wasn't included in any of the dates announced back in September 2019. Lover Fest included four U.S. shows, seven European shows, and one show in Brazil.
Does Canada count as "international"?
ts1989fanatic:
Hell yes it does, we are a separate country from the US, we have borders and everything. And a lot of us can’t afford to travel to the US or Toronto.
Additionally, previous Vancouver tour dates weren't necessarily considered part of the international tour. In some cases, Canadian shows were announced at the same time as the U.S. dates as part of a North American leg.
ts1989fanatic:
We damn well should be considered part of the international tour.
For Red and 1989 (the last time Swift performed in Vancouver) the Canadian shows were performed concurrently with the U.S. ones based on proximity.
However, Swift also performed significantly fewer shows in the last two tours. Reputation had 53 shows, only six of which were outside of North America and Canadian fans are adamant that Swift won't neglect her fans north of the border.
ts1989fanatic:
I wish I was as certain of this as some, but I honestly don’t know.
Would BC Place be booked already?
BC Place is the largest venue in Vancouver (capacity 54,500) and the one that Swift performed at on her last two visits. Still, its size doesn't come close to the capacity of some of the arenas she has performed at so far during the Eras tour. For example, Raymond James Stadium in Tampa holds 75,000 and NRG Stadium in Houston holds 72,220 fans.
ts1989fanatic:
So add more dates, instead of one night make it two or three like most US cities.
If Swift was to come to Vancouver BC Place is the only logical venue choice and would be booked by now (which means if she is coming someone is walking around Vancouver with a very big secret).
Swiftie super fans online believe that she is performing in the U.K. and Australia based on arena bookings and if we look at the BC Place calendar there are a few gaps in October where Swift could easily fit in a show or two. Some fans think she's more likely to visit in mid to late 2024 and BC Place has yet to reveal next year's calendar of events.
ts1989fanatic:
I could live with October or even 2024 so long as she’s here.
Why haven't the dates been announced yet?
ts1989fanatic:
That’s the billion $ question.
Many fans are begging to be put out of their misery: Is Taylor Swift coming to Canada or isn't she?
ts1989fanatic:
That’s the second billion $ question
International fans were promised an announcement in early 2023 (the initial dates were announced in November 2022) but the Ticketmaster disaster and subsequent hearing may have altered that plan and it's likely that the Taylor Nation team is strategizing how best to accommodate the demand.
ts1989fanatic:
Well how about @taylorswift or @taylornation put us out of our collective misery.
