Arcane and Blue Eye Samurai compete for the best animated series I've ever seen, of all time, and they're both ongoing. That's wild. What gorgeous animation. Scavengers Reign is a wonderful sci-fi series that's actually original, and I'm sad to say that's a rarity. It shouldn't be! I'll let you discover the rest. Just a reminder that Love Death + Robots is an anthology, and as usually this entails hits and misses. But the hits are SO good.

Other good series that are not groundbreaking or anything in terms of animation (which is generally on purpose: most of them aim to emulate a specific established style, and succeed), but they still get the job done, and are fun to watch:

Making a post because god is she pissing me off but i would highly suggest you stay clear of this person

This is loana. Ive hung out with her for about 10 months and shes genuinely weird. Keeps asking for people to draw her « waifus and husbanos » (literally harassing a few people because of that) and resorts to commissioning as many « cheap » artists as possible when that didn’t work. She also has a habit of guilt tripping people (sent a video of herself bleeding after a car crash to a bunch of people that she was already bothering with her art requests) and ranting about the same « drama » over and over again.

She was also weird to me. She drew one of her ocs sexually harassing one of mine (sounds insane i know) multiple times back around may and is now mentioning that incident over and over again to show that she feels bad about what she did. I honestly don’t trust her and anything that she does id highly recommend block her and NOT taking requests/art trades/commissions from her

This World Can't Tear Me Down was devastating.

Sadness is basically the only emotion I don't know how to deal with. It just makes me lose sleep and I don't know what to do with it.

Despite this, I rewatch Tear Along The Dotted Line religiously, because the comedy aspect and the storytelling far make up for how fucking depressing the ending is.

This World Can't Tear Me Down just makes me want to dissociate. I wouldn't call it better or worse than Tear Along The Dotted Line because they're too different. It's certainly good, very good, but it's too real for my taste.

I wouldn't say that I wish I never watched it, but I don't think I will watch it again.

(I can only hope it will gain more presence online so I can find quick, alternative coping mechanisms to fill the void the ending left)
