Clark Gable with Ted Healey and His Stooges (Larry fine, Moe Howard and Curly Howard) between takes on the set of the 1933 film Dancing Lady.
Ted Healy was an old friend of Moe Howard, and had created the Stooges as part of his vaudeville act. In the early 1930s they went to Hollywood to film several shorts, and provide supporting roles in feature films.
Healy's role in Dancing Lady was much larger than the Stooges', and he soon became a desired supporting actor in both comedic and dramatic roles.
The next year (1934) Healy and The Stooges dissolved the partnership and went their separate ways. Howard, Fine and Howard migrated to Columbia Pictures, officially became The Three Stooges, and the rest is comedy history.

I was going down a wiki rabbit hole, and I don’t know what to do with the information that James Bond producer Albert. R Broccoli is alleged to have been involved with the death of Three Stooges creator Ted Healy.

Soup to Nuts (1930)
My rating: 6/10
Comedy rarely ages well, and there is stuff in there that doesn't work anymore or is just plain incomprehensible out of its original context, but there's still some bits that are quite funny, and it's blissfully light on Stooge-based shenanigans. Not bad for a nearly 100 year old movie.
